I am an avid Walmart shopper, but I have got to say that the Georgetown Walmart is the worst I've experienced! The older woman in bakery, does not wash her hands after using the facilities (I and another customer reported her to management on two separate occasions) I will NEVER order another cake from this location! This Walmart also has poor customer service, slow productivity, and racial profiling to boot. Recently, an employee monitoring the self checkout lanes kept hovering over me for some reason, then asked to check my cart against the items on the computer screen because he "didn't think I was scanning everything." Since when is efficiency a crime? I was so shocked, I was speechless! I ignored him and continued scanning my items and he walked away without checking a thing. WTH? read more

Has the largest selection of groceries in town. All other stories are smaller and have fewer choices.

Oh my goodness...went to buy several items as we do quite often (my fike of receipts are proof), dressing rooms were closed and I needed to use them for I needed the vlotbing item for 8 am tomorrow. My husband asked an associate if she could open the door for me to try on the single item, she said no she didn't have a key...so we had her ask another employee...there was 5 standing in a circle around a register doing nothing. The manager did not realize we were standing close and began to answer with an attitude "no absolutely not..." This happened this evening at 1030pm...and we put down our stuff and left. A close to $100 sale, we just called customer service and they are closed. We will be calling again tomorrow to file a formal complaint on these employees with out sense of helping, or what custoner service means...it means help not mock and be rude to. Warning MSG in their rotisserie chicken. Not just a little but a lot. My wife got MSG sick from just eating the chicken breast. Stay away!

Can I give it zero stars? The pharmacy staff is not friendly at all. They text me to let me know my prescription was ready but when I got there they said it wasn't. If things get messed up you should go above and beyond. Instead I was treated very rudely. I will be taking ally family's prescription elsewhere. read more

One star is too many. I stopped to print pictures. I was notified they were ready. Went to pick them up but they weren't ready. They said they needed ten minutes. I waited 25 and went back to counter to be told they forgot me. Again I waited and then stood there as they continued to bypass me for people in line behind me. I asked a girl at the counter if I could pay for my pictures and she said she would do it immediately. She then put my pictures down and started checking out people in line behind me again. Left my pictures there for the walmart staff to enjoy. The manager apologized that I had been treated this way . Didn't have time to wait any longer read more

If Sam Walton saw what Walmart has become today, he would be gravely disappointed! Walmart seems to be the butt of a lot of jokes but after my experience, I don't think they're jokes anymore, I think they're true! I will admit that they do have lower prices on a lot of items and that is what enticed me to shop there. I purchased 25 squares of St Augustine grass, 10 bags of mulch and 10 bags of dirt weighing 40 lbs each. I went in to pay for everything and asked for some assistance with loading all this in the truck, and the clerk said she would send someone out. I waited about 30 minutes and no one showed up. So I go back in there and ask again for help and she tells me the person she called to help me was at lunch, but she will send someone else out there to help me. So as I am walking out of the garden area I asked an employee who was standing at the door where I could find the bags of dirt and she just gave me a puzzled look and said, "Dirt?", shook her head no and shrugged her shoulders. I wasn't sure if she didn't understand English or if she was just another new employee. I waited about 15 more minutes and when no one showed up I started loading the mulch and grass myself which took me about 30 minutes. Afterwards, I went back in and asked the clerk where the dirt was located and she showed me so I started loading that. I had one more bag to load when a customer saw me struggling with the heavy bag of dirt and he came and helped me! I thanked him and shut the tailgate got in the truck and was about to pull out when and employee came out and asked if I needed any help!!! Seriously?! Walmart should thank their lucky stars that I am an honest person because I could have taken the whole dang pallet of grass and they wouldn't know! With their kind of service the next person might not be so honest and it will come back and bite Walmart in the butt! Unfortunately we ran out of mulch and since we started with their brand of red mulch (not all red mulch is the same color) we had to return a few days later to get more. Again, we asked for assistance and it wasn't until we got it loaded ourselves that this same guy came out and asked if we needed help! They get only 1 star cause I have to give a star to make it a rating. Else they would get nothing or even more deserving they would have a negative star rating of probably -10. Now I'm really actually only talking about their auto center. So here's my story. My car was getting 25-27mpg. Took my car in for a much needed oil change. Car comes out and I'm lucky to get 16mpg. Doing just a basic check I find that they overfilled my car, by somewhere between half to a full quart of oil. Which I've been told would contribute to the mpg drop. Because of stuff going on in my life like work etc. it takes me a week to get back over to them. I talk to the manager. He immediately gets on the defensive and starts trying to tell me its coincidence in timing but there is no actual correlation of it being their fault that my car isn't running as well now. He has them pull it in and verify if there is an overage. They do and guess what it is.He tells them to drain the overage. Now he also comes back in and tries to show me pics of the ties for my air filter missing which I know they weren't at least before the orginal oil change. Oh and he tells me that as they drain the overage they found oil that is "already" black mind you this is in a week!! Refuses to accept that this could possibly due to human error on their part. As in they didn't drain it fully in the first place. This would account for both the overage and the blackness. Option 2 is they never did they oil change and just added oil. He then proceeds to try and sell me products that could help "fix" my car all while trying to convince me that I'm crazy and just looking to blame someone instead of just accepting that my car is falling apart!!! read more
