This Walmart is poorly managed. I can't believe they DON'T have any cash registers open from 10pm except for SELF SERVICE. I had to ring up a cartful of groceries myself after a long day at work. More days than not the self checkout is card only. If you want to use cash you need to stand in one of three open lines that are at least 7 customers deep. You would think as busy as this place is they would have more registers open. Instead of four to six people hanging around at the self checkout directing customers who want to pay with cash to a "regular" line. read more

Really tired of being harassed by homeless people when I walk in. Every time I go here now I get stopped by someone homeless following me from the parking lot asking me if I can help them out. I hate to sound insensitive but really when I go to the store last thing I want is to see homeless people on the corner as I pull in then get chased down in the parking lot being asked for money. As for the store,...like every other Walmart. I'd say the customer service is worst than any I've been too though. Have to ask 3 people to call for help in a dept, not even for their help,...just call for help and I got attitude. And when you need help in self check out they are more concerned with their phones or flirting with other employees. read more

The sporting goods dept. the worst employee of the century. Called Shelly, she says they have no red worms,went by and checked because I needed trout dough bait. They had plenty of red worms on hand in there mini fridge. Brought that to her attention. She rang them up with dough bait, never said a word. Didn't apologize nothing! This review is specifically for the customer service. I went to the sporting goods section, looked for an associate for assistance at the counter and found no one. I called the store and explained that I needed assistance in sporting goods, waited for over 20 minutes for someone to show up, but no one ever did. The person I spoke with announced twice for an associate to go to sporting goods for customer assistance, but no one who works there cares apparently and I even saw a few employees walk by. I guess I will just have to go to Cabela's for my sporting goods needs since Walmart's customer service is horrible. read more

I went in today to grocery shop. I used the self checkout like usual, and head to the entrance receipt in hand. Other customers are let out no problem, but for some reason Linda had to check my receipt for the turkey I had in my cart, so whatever I hand her my receipt, but I'm explaining to her that the full receipt didn't print out. I'm helping her find the item, and I know it was the last item I scanned, but she immediately starts assuming that I went into this walmart today and tried to walk out with a free turkey. She's telling me she can take it and show me how to pay for it, but I'm telling her for the fourth time that it was the last item I scanned and I don't have the bottom of my receipt. I had to go to customer service and ask them to reprint my receipt, and when the clerk showed Linda she's just like "okay". An apology would have been appreciated. You'd assume after working for walmart for 18 years like it said on her vest that you'd know what a full receipt looks like. My receipt was literally cut off and curled at the end, not even the total or taxes were on it, and instead of assuming the receipt paper ran out, she jumps to the conclusion that I'm stealing a 15 pound turkey. I wish anyone stepped in to make things better, but even the workers at the customer service were like "okay". Didn't ask why I needed to reprint a receipt for the lady at the door. It was such a disappointing experience, and it really bummed me out. It was definitely not worth the headache. I'll probably just stick to drive up or delivered groceries if I have to. read more

on Sunday February 28 around 1pm I was PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED & HUMILIATED by the Walmart employees and managers at this Walmart! I purchased a bicycle for my son at the self checkout & the manager by the front door scanned my receipt, as I'm walking out another employee approaches me and starts assaulting me while I'm trying to walk out & demands I give the bike back assuming I stole it, all while I had the receipt in my hands!!! as freightened as I was she still manages to snatch everything out of my hands and she then realizes she was in the wrong & all I asked for was a an apology for being assaulted and humiliated! not once was I given an apology so I go and speak to a manager at customer service thinking I was going to get hep but boy was I wrong! the managers at customer service did the total opposite and all they were saying is that I didn't want a problem with them because they knew how to "fight"!! I'm in Phoenix for two weeks and the hotel I am staying at has a full kitchen and with that being said....need to make a grocery store run to stock up the fridge with snacks and beer. I am normally not a fan of Walmart but ultimately what I thought was cool was they ran a price check with the other stores in the neighborhood and price matched everything in my basket which saved me like $15. Homeless and possibly mentally ill individuals prowl the parking lot, begging for money. You need a gun or pepper spray to make it from the parking lot to the store. The inside of this store looks like a war zone. Imagine if the zombie apocalypse has hit, that is the inside of the store. Even if the store is packed, you will find only 2, yes 2, lanes open. Then "Pat R," the cashier who kept needing manager over-rides because she doesn't know how to do her job, blamed me for price matching, as to why she was taking so long! This is actually in reference to the McDonald's inside this store..Gave me the wrong wrap and when I got the right one, I got half as much chicken as I normally get in the same wrap. Not that I wanted sauce with my kids happy meal, but it also wasn't offered. read more

Compared to other Walmarts, this one is still our favorite. The store is clean, shelves are well stocked and they do very good at keeping lots of registers open too. Staff is actually friendlier than all the other locations we've been to as well. read more

Every time I go into a Walmart, I spend the hour after I leave wondering why I went again... It could be the very decent prices or the fact that I had a gift card..., but the frustrations with lines, poor service and other customers having poor manners makes it not worth it. This feedback is for the 5010 N 95Th Ave Glendale AZ , 85305 location: I came in this morning (my 2nd overall visit) & was immediately struck by how clean, organized, & well maintained everything appeared right upon entering the store. So I made it a point to pay attention throughout the rest of the store as I browsed through all of the depts. & every single one was amazing! No exception - Clean floors & fixtures, marketing all in place, merchandise displayed perfectly & neat! & best of all, I saw employees everywhere! I spoke to three on the floor for help & they dropped what they were doing to help me without skipping a beat. At the registers (3 had NO lines, how???) the young lady was polite & personable. She built report with me while we waited for a supervisor for an approval, instead of just ignoring me. This store is a perfect 10! The one I usually go to always leaves me wondering if I should get a tetanus shot after shopping there because it so gross. And all the others ... same, always feel like I need a shower after shopping. And customer service is unheard of in the uncountable stores I have been in (in 12+ states). Price, price matching, and selection would be the ONLY huge things that Walmart has going for them. Customer service isn't stellar. Bathroom cleanliness is comical at best. Employees (not all, but certainly more than a handful) could care less that you're around and will jibber jabber with one another as if they're throwing back drinks at the local dive. They do carry most things that you need in your household though and so it's a convenient place to shop for kid party gifts, groceries, household necessities, etc. You can always count on the Walmart assemblage to amaze you with their bizarre and distasteful behavior and/or attire. So it is a long story, try to keep it short, I found a tent set on a end cap that also was stocked with 3 other huge boxes, so it wasn't a mistake from a customer put back, the price said $14.36, I cashed out and it scanned for $98 the supervisor said she would go to a price check, she doesn't even return 10 minutes later she radios to another manager and told her basically I was lying, there was nothing there for that price, I thought she went to wrong area so I walked back to spot to show where I found them, the price tags was gone, she had intentionally removed the price tags and pretty much made me out to be the liar. Then my reaction was to curse and tell the cashier to remove the box from my cart I know what she did, then another manager tells my daughter that she (my daughter) acts more grown than me that I am childish and immature for not wanting to take the box back myself, lmao this place is a joke, you have to find your own cart somewhere from the parking lot, if they stock wrong or mess up its your fault not theirs, forget pickup, they'll have you sitting there waiting well passed your scheduled time frame, one women said she was sitting there for 2 hours, she could have gone inside and got her own items by the time they finally brought it out to her.they hired a crap ton of teens and didn't even show them how to do thier jobs,, I've called to get the district manager name and number and have been hung up on. I purchased a bag of Oscar Meyer bacon bits at this location on 26Jul18 in the morning approximately 1130 am. When I opened the bag at 920 pm that evening to prepare my lunch for the next day, I discovered that this entire bag of bacon bits had mold in it. It would be nice if there where more registers open. When there are lines with 10+ people in them and only 4 lanes open, I see a problem. There are always employees walking around the front, just standing there and answering customers question, why can't they jump on a register or call someone up to work a register? The Walmart employees at this Walmart are HORRIBLEEEEEE I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN . I have never been more discriminated against! I stopped at Walmart because I needed groceries and to pick up a few household items I was followed around the store by an employee that was "cleaning". I went to the self checkout and was followed by this SAME employee who proceeded to clean and wipe off the self checkout terminal that I was using, she attempted to start up an awkward "small talk " conversation while I was trying to check out which made me really uncomfortable because I was checking out and she was "cleaning" literally arms length distance from me. She even tried to grab items from me and scan them for me which I felt was really over stepping her boundaries. She did not at all seem concerned about the other customers who were also using the self checkout terminals. This is not the first time this has happened to me at this same Walmart location but it WILL be the last! I am a assistant at a privately owned doctors office here in the community and I'm 100% sure my hourly is WAY more than the cashier that felt the need to follow me and ruin my Walmart shopping experience !
