I was waiting outside at 6:45am I was 4th in line trying to get some trading cards for my son. The store opened late at 7:05am the doors finally opened and as soon as I walk in I see 3 walmart employees with bags full of trading cards. When I brought it to the manager Taylor's attention she said she can't control what they can buy and how much they can buy. So how is that fair that people wait outside to be able to buy a product yet the employees take everything. They didn't leave anything on the shelves what makes them so special that they can just buy everything and leave none for the people waiting. Taylor has a bad attitude as a manager and needs to do her job correctly. This rating is for the customer service department. It has nothing to do this any other aspect of the store. We went in last night and I inquired about a Black Friday item. I paid for the early access online and I explained that I didn't want any special favors. I just wanted to be treated equally. I am just able to and I just wanted the opportunity to an item as it became available for early access. I explained that due to disability I am at not safe to attend Black Friday. I inquired about layaway. When associate in her 30s with dark hair and a side braid was very abrupt. I was not asking for any special favors. All I wanted was to purchase the item as it became available without harm. I was hoping to put down a decent amount either Soule away or whatever option available. It's hard enough to explain to someone who is able-bodied. Still I did not deserve to be treated so unkindly. I truly felt like a victim of eyes roll and blood lust. I seriously have contemplated contacting corporate. I know that I am not the only one who has experienced horrible customer service at this location. I feel bad for anyone else who is dealing with disability. We have a lot of seniors and veterans in this town. I can only imagine how they are being treated. It's quite sad if you ask me. I'm irritated that one evening I had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to come unlock the glass doors for hair products for my daughter. I went to find a manager, who in turn, didn't know where the key was. Another time, I was trying to call this Wal-Mart. I really feel like the employees could care less about their customers. I waited on the phone for over 20 minutes. I was hung up on multiple times. I had to call back multiple times. Do they purposely hang up on us?? Also, good luck trying to get in contact with a store manager at this location. They keep you on hold for over 10 minutes. The San Jacinto location manager was on the phone within 10 seconds. I went to purchase items for current pandemic so that I don't have to go back out. This Walmart store had alot products in stock. The lines were a little long, but expected with current situation. Lastly, there were a few people that were taking there masks off inside the store. Its imperative that everyone please keep masks on and be safe. What an experience! Employee after employee (3 or 4) ready and willing to ignore your every need. Isle after Isle of poorly stocked ,blocked spaces. I could feel myself getting older as I browsed the poorly staffed mecca. And after filling my cart the grand finale'.... looking for a human cashier....oh the joy of standing in line for ten minutes and then being told by the cashier, I am closing, only to get into another tortoise paced line with a really sweet, happy, talkative cashier. But wait....there's more... the other line that was closing starts taking more customers with the same cashier as before...everyone behind me quickly fills that spot.. The only thing that could make this experience better is the food poisoning that i will likely get from fresh meat being at room temperature for the joyful checkout process. read more

I had ordered a flat-screen TV Monitor Which was ordered online. The delivery date was to be only two days to receive my order! In actual, it took all of eleven days before I was able to pick up my online order! They were telling me that the order was somehow mishandled and that the shipment would be delivered soon! But to my dismay, it took the whole eleven days to get my order into the store. Needless to say, I would not try an online order ever again! I attempted to buy ammunition, as I am required to have a firearm for work. I work long hours , which is why Walmart was the only choice for ammo at the time. I went in a little after 9pm. I was refused the ammunition, the employee stated "the computers are down" with a big grin on his face. However, all other computers in the store seemed to work just fine. Also, he couldn't provide a straight answer as to why he couldn't just take the ammo for me to the front and buy it there. I just needed one box. Now there are no laws in California restricting when (what time) ammunition can or cannot be sold. I would understand if it was a Walmart "policy" but as far as I can see it is not. I went home and left the other items I was going to purchase at the store. It didn't bother me so much at the time. However, once I got home I couldn't stop thinking about it. Was I being profiled? That fact that the employee had a grin on his face and just sort of ignored my questions, rubbed me the wrong way. Now I know Hemet has its fair share or crime and possibly why the guy thought he was helping the city in some sort of way. I would have happily showed my permits/qualifications, which show I can carry a firearm. Even thought it is perfectly legal to purchase ammo without any permits . Oh, well. I will be taking my patronage elsewhere. I just don't understand why they would carry an item and then refuse to sell it, when there are no laws regarding what time ammo can be sold. read more

I do instacart for several stores and Wal Mart by far has the worst customer service. Not only do I sometimes have to wait pressing a little red button for 20 minutes to get something as cheap as a package of $7 razors for an instacart customer; but to top it off, to make me run even later by instacart standards of alloted shopping time, they will take your item to a checkstand you are not even standing in line because it has the most customers. Today for example, I told the associate the razors is the last item on my shopping list and after letting me scan it she proceeded to say, "I am taking to checkstand 17", and I responded, "This is my last item why don't you just take it to the register of my choice (shortest line so I can mwet my 3 pm deadline drop off)" since I was walking with her to the registers. Well, she refused to listen to reason and when it came time for me to pay, I had to waste more of my own time (in addition to the customers behind me , who were also frustrated with the long lines, because the cashier had to step off her register to go look for the razors at register 17. My cashier also was flustered because she didn't know which ones exactly were mine so that equated to more time wasting. Result: I was 20 minutes late and the customer was anxious and she guessed why I was late: "It was the razors wasnt it? I knew I should have them ordered to be delivered by mail. In fact, she went on to tell me about her own negative shopping experience resembling my own, but told me she walked off and left the stuff at the register after associate failed to listen to her request and take it to the line of her choice. Moreover, she went on to say how she has learned to dislike Wal Mart and more abd transition her shopping to other stores instead like Target. After I finished the Wal Mart drop off, I went to do a Sprouts order and it was genuinely a breath of fresh air, not only were the employees more friendly; but they were more willing to help without even needing to be asked when they saw that I was having trouble locating an item. I used to rave about shopping for Wal Mart to my friends and family who also started shopping for instacart for extra money, but after today I prefer Sprouts and Target shopping. read more

I have never witnessed how poorly and forgotten the disabled are treated in my life until today at this Walmart. I just got home with my father and have a heartache that is pretty strong. When we arrived there was one man sitting waiting for an electric cart then we waited what seemed to be at least 25-30 min from when we got there. Waiting is fine even waiting an hour is ok...if there is a system. There isnt a system for the disabled that need a cart. The man before my father gave in and limped to a regular cart, we waited another 5 minutes or so and then we saw a woman leaving and I went after her when another woman rushed from behind me by foot with a regular cart ahead of me and reached the lady in the electric cart lady before me...I was inside and she was too and the lady in the electric cart was outside!! I told myself that's fine, not her fault, she can be selfish, Walmart has no system in caring for the disabled, its their fault we wait longer. My mother had been shopping now for an hour at least by now. My mother told the door greeters we were waiting when she first came in (by the way)and they said there were no electric carts and they never even cared to follow the outgoing electric cart so the patient non mobile disabled customers can have it, cause Walmart had no system for the disabled that need electric carts OR the associates don't care(there needs to be someone looking out for the disabled). Finally I walked up to a woman and she said yes I can have her electric cart which was over an hour of waiting then a man says rudely it's his. I told him nicely we have been waiting an hour and he said we were not ,that I was lying...so I walked up to the door greeter and he told the man yes I was next in line for the cart. The man was quite upset at me(which I didnt minf cause Walmart has no system in place for the electric carts and the disabled). My mother was done shopping so my dad didnt even use it to even go back to the car. Within the hour of being there I talked to 2 door greeters and they said they had no way of helping me. I saw an electric cart not being used parked at Walmart for the entire hour and the greaeter said there's nothing she can do about it. I was told to talk to the manager but why? If the manager thought disabled folk were precious , wouldn't she not stand for this horrendous situation that happens every time carts are all taken? One disabled lady on a cart said the secret is to come as early as possible. I do not believe that. Disabled people shouldn't have to worry about timing for an electric cart, this should be the top priority for the door greeters or someone in Walmart!! These people did not choose to be disabled, if we are going to give the workers of Walmart our money they better WORK for EVERY CUSTOMER! I have never witnessed such inhumane customer service in my life! Not caring or fighting for the disabled. I will never walk into a Walmart or shop there again because of what I witnessed this afternoon. It breaks my heart. Why isnt ot breaking the worker's hearts enough to speak up? Walmart it's not that hard to get a ticket system for your electric carts and WORK harder. Also take off the electric cart signs because your sales associates already know the disabled are taking the electric carts outside. Change your plan of action...you are lacking in humility. You have electric carts, thank you, but take some time to see what is really going on for these individuals. This location is always so crowded. A lot of the people who shop here are rough. Aside from that the staff are friendly and helpful. Whenever I ask where anything is located, I have been walk to the item. I have found a lot of nice things on clearance. But, this store has had a lot of theft apparently. They have one lane into cosmetics along with closed circuit television. Anything that can be put into a security box has been. I just do not like the atmosphere that creates. read more

Do Not get any automotive work done here!!! They said they changed my oil and next time I returned they told me I had a factory oil filter on my car and they couldn't get it off well if they changed my oil the previously, then said they would change the oil free but then when I went back again about a month later and asked if they could check my oil it was dark brown and he said it's supposed to be he said oh it's only a little dirty well I just got an oil change so why is it dirty? and then I was dumb enough to buy tires from them which when put on my front tires made a loud grinding noise and clicked when I turned. The tire looked like it was coming off the rim. They swore they did nothing wrong and it's something major with my car. So I went to a professional tire place got 4 new tires put on properly and problem fixed: I went and paid more money to get a professional oil change at Valvoline and they drained 6 qts of oil and it was supposed to be 4.5 qts smh!!! Just don't go there unless you want to ruin your vehicle and thankfully I did go ahead and go elsewhere it's worth paying extra money. I recommend America s tires for great customer service and Valvoline in Menifee for a oil change. read more

I haven't stepped foot in this Wal-Mart, or any other Wal-Mart, in about four years. I find their smart value brand cheap, and not cheap as in great savings, cheap as in crappy. When I did shop here it was a hit and miss on the stores cleanliness, sorry but the last thing I want to do is buy my groceries from a dirty story. I'm not talking like clean up on aisle two because some kid spilled something either, I'm talking about hadn't been cleaned in God knows how long. Only had a couple incidences with rude employees, but for the most part people were decent, not exactly above and beyond but decent. I'll also never understand why there were only ever two or three check stands open, no matter what time of day I went. I know a lot of people shop here because you get a "better deal", but when we were buying their store brand paper towels, I was going through twice as many as I would using a name brand because they were so crappy. I'll never shop at this Wal-Mart or any other again. I'd rather pay a little more for certain items and shop at Target, like I have been for the last four years. This place is just gross. read more

The service was pretty good besides the usual of never having enough cashiers. But I also was followed by a security guard the entire time for no reason other than wanting to buy some cards. Apparently there were lots of cards getting stolen so they moved them but having people get tailed just for grabbing a few packs before doing their shopping is sad. Not only that but when i decided i didn't want them (risk was higher than reward in terms of the value of cards in that specific pack) the security person still followed me until i reached the checkout line feeling uncomfortable as all hell. It's a very large store and I found myself wondering. Everything you need is here. Groceries, toiletries, pet food, and everything in between. The store is very clean and well organized. First I would like to say I have lived in Hemet since 1999 and was here before this Walmart was thought of. I liked shopping at this Walmart since its opening but now its like your a criminal when you walk in with security dressed up like SWAT or mostly everything in cases. Yesterday I walked in to buy multiple things (why I like Walmart) and on my way to the outdoor grilling section I passed a older black women in her SWAT get up and I said Hi! I could tell when she said hi back she's going to double back and follow me and i'll be damned if I didn't look up when I was doing a review search for the item I was looking at and here she was in the total opposite side of the store she was headed when I passed her. Then I came out to the main isle and she ducked into a random isle looking total stupid and obvious. I have a very important job and I don't need to steal or be assumed I'm going to steal from F ing Walmart. I have always gone there for my Oil Chnages.Been there 5 times for an OIL change and every time I go they say 2-3 hours. I came back this afternoon at 3pm and the man said we are closing??? He said they did not schedule a night crew so we have to close??? WTH... Where is the MANAGER? They have lost my business for OIL Changes. Went to Walmart in Hemet for an oil change. I was the third person in line when they first opened (which was supposed to be 7am still waiting for the first person working there until 725 . Was told it would be only an hour just got out of there like ten minutes ago which puts wait time two hours. This happens every time I go here I don't understand why they never have enough people working when they know that opening is going to be busy. Not opening when you are supposed to be open is not good either it sends the message you really don't care. Two people standing and talking instead of finishing the cars they have in the bay doesn't send a good message to your customers.
