Worst experience I've ever had! I had photos printed for my little brothers graduation party and the quality looks absolutely horrendous!

Prices are pretty good for lately. Store was a bit iffy, some lights were on some not. Employees were friendly, shelves were stocked. I did not feel safe. A lot of drug addicts in the store. Do not plan on going back. read more

I never really have high expectations for Walmart. But this one in particular was dirty. In the kitchen aisles, there were towels thrown about everywhere. They were pretty much entirely out of smaller quantity of silverware. Tupperware was spread about and incorrectly marked. Sheet selection for bedrooms was minimal and messy. In one of the food aisles there was a busted glass jar of pickles, that had started to dry on the outsides. So it'll tell you how long it had been on the floor. Lastly, in the main aisle in front of the cash register, there was a whole box it looked like of golf balls that had been thrown on the floor and spread throughout. Came through on a weeknight. I couldn't find any Cold weather clothing. Everything was were it was supposed to be. Walked out with work socks that I can double layer so that's good enough. Update... Found the cold weather clothing in the sports section. This was rather unusual but found them anyway. Then socks and Hand warmers were everything I needed. This Wal Mart layout was the most different one I have ever been in. read more

This store says it opens at 6 o clock yet no one has answered the phone. I've been calling for half an hour and I just keep going to the answer machine. If you say you're open at six then be ready for customers calling and entering at six. If I could give less stars I would. read more

I took my kids here on Thanksgiving day to shop some black Friday deals. My 11-year-old son had his phone so he went on his merry way while my 13-year-old and I were doing our own thing. Then my son called me but hung up. I tried to call him back but I couldn't get a hold of him. I started getting super paranoid. So I went to the front of the store and contacted the police officer. He contacted a store employee and they were about to announce over the intercom a description of my son but the police office spotted him from the description I just given him. Whew! This was Black Friday and the store was very organized. Much more of an organized than the Walmarts I shop at back in the Twin Cities. We found everything on our list and more! read more

Pharmacy Review- 4 times in the last 2 weeks they have messed up my family's prescriptions. 2 weeks ago I renewed my one and only script on the app, the app told me it was ready so I went. Pharmacy told me they never received my refill request, I even showed them on my app. Went back the next day, they filled it wrong and was told to wait 20 minutes. This week I put in a refill for my son's one and only script. Same exact story, they said they never received the refill. So I called in my refill. They still didn't have it when I went for pick up. They told me to call my doctor, my doctor told me to call the pharmacy, twice i did this back and forth. I ended up switching to walgreens on both scripts. I live 45 miles from town. Wish me luck on my 3rd run for the week. read more

Horrible experience trying to get groceries delivered from Hermantown MN Walmart. Twice the order was left at the wrong address and one time the order was canceled , I tried to call the store over 30 times to talk to anyone about the delivery issues but could only get soneone from Electronics to answer the phone. read more

I really don't know what there is to say about this particular walmart. It's a typical walmart just like all of the rest of them but Yelp keeps insisting that I need to write a review about it so here it is. You can get groceries and other facts of life that we can't live with ought here. Like toilet paper. You can sometimes find electronics here at a decent price. The clothes are meh... Just make sure you try everything on before you buy it. They have dishes and things to cook with. They also have camping gear, plants and common household items. Yes sometimes people do crazy things at this walmart. But you see way less craziness out of people here then some of the other walmarts I've visited. Anyhow, i don't know anyone really that doesn't shop at Walmart so I guess it's pretty much a nessissity. Right? read more

The Hermantown Walmart is always a pleasant shopping experience with a great selection of items and it always has the essential items in stock on the shelves. The associates that work here are all very hard workers and no matter how busy they are they always take the time to ask if you need help and treat you as if you're the #1 customer every time you're in the store. The bathrooms are always extremely clean and makes them feel less like a public restroom. The checkouts are always going at a steady pace and the self checkout people are also so very helpful if they need to assist at the registers. The staff is always very eager to make your shopping experience the best they can. I enjoy every shopping trip to this store and always leave happy with my purchases. It's also extremely nice that no matter what cart I get to use while shopping always rolls really good and you can tell the associates go the extra mile to ensure that they are cleaned on a regular basis. The prices are very hard to beat at the store and the deals are always pointed out with big red flags and the produce is second to none and always fresh and delicious. There is 3 Walmarts within 15 minutes of my home and I'll always choose the Hermantown Walmart for all my shopping needs. Even of there is not an item in stock the associates always scan the self and try to get the items from the back or explain why it is out of stock and when it will be available again. The photo center is always super fast at getting photos made when needed too. read more

Usually go to this Walmart for everything I need, but that will change after my experience the other day. My sister I were looking through the fall decor section, trying to decide which color faux leaves we wanted. I was standing with my back facing another aisle, she was standing in front of me and could see behind me. An older male employee came up behind me very quietly, putting his groin against my backside and chest touching my back. He said "excuse me" in a very loud and clearly irritated tone. He then knelt down, knocking my sister out of the way softly but enough to make her lose her balance, and picked up a set of faux leaves that had fallen. We hadn't noticed the fallen item, but surely would've picked it up when we did.( before leaving the aisle) this was not only an invasion of my personal space and made me feel very unsafe. I am really dissapointed after visiting the hermantown walmart the couple of times since I've lived in the duluth area. The most upsetting and aggravating time that I experienced was my last visit there. That was the most rude customer service I have ever recieved. I was looking to find some christmas lights and needed help finding it so I asked a lady with dark brown that had just came out of the technologies department. I turned to her and said "excuse me but I have a.... " and before i could finish what I was saying she cut me off and said "nope on break" and turned and walked away. I was so angry and another customer was standing right there in shock that she had acted so rude with me. I for one have had my fair share of retail but never. Have I ever treated someone so rudely. I have always been taught to go out of my way for customers no matter how bad my day was. What also angered me is that I told a coworker of hers how poorly she treated me and he told me that she did not have to help since she was on her break...... So does am I just supposed to take her lack of customer service? No. I hope that the Hermantown, walmart will clean up their customer service because I have gotten the cold shoulder too many times. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Was looking for 1 particular item and had to ask 4 different employee's just to never find the item. As I asked for help (because they all walked past me not asking if I needed help finding anything), they acted like I was an inconvenience and was just bothersome. Very rude. Very displeased. Will not be returning to this store. I mean come on... you work in retail so it is your job to give great customer service and help customers find what they need. I originally became aware of this Walmart from former coworkers who had been assigned to work at the place for a full seven days to help them empty the multiple GM trucks in their parking lot and they describe the employees there as unbalanced and holding conversations with themselves. My coworkers had claimed that customer disgust was very high because whenever an associate was asked about an item that was out of stock the associate would just go on break or listen to their head set on the opposite end of the building. Disgusted with this report and intrigued I visited the store last week and to my shock it was all true. I asked to be shown the location of the pharmacy and as the associate was leading the way he spent the time talking to himself and of all things about his inability to keep an erection. The manager I met seemed on the level but was very distracted cleaning up the mess of another employee who tripped and fell into a display of cold duck bottles which had shattered all over the floor. The reason he tripped? Because he forgot to tie his shoe according to the manager. At least the employee responsible helped clean it up but he looked really on edge and jittery like he was wired on drugs. From what I saw and experienced I would not recommend being a customer and based on what I heard from people who actually worked there I would avoid employment at this store simply because they tolerate such unstable and lazy employees. I've seen and experienced better in Cambridge and Pine City. read more
