Every time I come in here I can never find the stuff I need. The shelves are always bare, the deli is always closed with absolutely no signs, the bakery is always closed with no sign, mold growing on produce if you look closely. Absolutely uncalled for. Employees drop produce for a customer pickup and just put it back for the customer. Half of the lanes are closed/not working. The staff is okay but when I ask a question I get a smart answer from some this store has a ton to improve on! read more

purchased 55" LG television on Augusr 3rd, registered tv on August 5th, set and watched for 9 days, screen went black and audio was fine. contacted Walmart, Hermitage pa superstore where it was purchased and informed electronics dept. employee of problem, following several attempts to speak to manager we went to store and did see manager with desire to return tv. was informed that if we didn't have the box it was sold in it wasn't returnable, Receipt state's electronics returnable within 30 days with receipt, no one that we spoke with in electronics dept. informed us of retaining box for return when we questioned staff about warranty and returns! Box was recycled three days prior. Contacted Walmart headquarters to confirm return policy. Following several communications with LG, finally after 4 weeks and two visits by service technician the tv is functioning as expected!!! NOT a good experience with Walmart!!! I would like to recognize the employees in the Auto Department Sunday June 28, 2020 in Hermitage Pa. They were in the mist of closing up shop when I arrived desperately trying to get a tire repaired from a object I hit on the interstate heading home from Williamsport Pa to Henryville In, I was alone and scared, but these employees went above and beyond to repair my tire and calm me down even though they were ready to go home them self. I went to my local walmart yesterday to buy new tires i was greeted at the service door with attitude about no entry only for scheduled services, I told them i was there to make an appointment. The sales person said they had an open appointment now. The salesperson made a comet to me about being just a walk in when i questioned here about how long it would be.they were very rood. I used to think that this Walmart was just okay when I lived in the Hermitage area. I knew the one in New Castle was definitely worse, but I thought that was just a particularly bad Walmart. Then I moved to Girard and got to experience the Youngstown Walmart. Wow, do I miss the Hermitage Walmart these days. The shopping carts are well managed by the staff here, and the people who shop at this Walmart are courteous enough to actually put their carts in the return. In Youngstown, at least half the people shopping there don't put their cart in the cart return, they just leave it wherever and the parking lot is consistently littered with shopping carts. The store is consistently clean, and the staff is mostly pretty friendly and helpful when they're free to help you. In Youngstown you'd have an incredibly difficult time tracking someone down to ask for help, and if you did they wouldn't necessarily be the most friendly in my experience. The inventory is very consistently refilled and I rarely had something I was looking for be out of stock in Hermitage. By the way, don't take those self check outs for granted, not having at the Youngstown Walmart has resulted in my waiting 10+ minutes to buy several small items on at least half a dozen occasions. read more

Was told the first time it was a computer glitch....this time was given no excuse and to top it off a silver jeep who arrived after me and the other cars ahead of me was provided her groceries almost immediately and left while the rest of us continued to wait another half hour at least. read more

We are here visiting family and ordered food from the deli and bakery for a family birthday celebration. Heather in the deli department was very kind and does her job well. I do appreciate her kindness and her expertise of her job. Thank you heather. Also ordered a cake from their bakery and was ready when I got there. The cake was decorated very nicely and was delicious. I didn't have to wait for anything. I also ordered a sub platter from the subway in your store and was fresh and great presentation of their food. All went well and thank you to all the departments I used. read more

My delivery order yesterday was dropped at an apartment that was not mine. I watched the driver online and could see that he was lost, driving in circles on the streets below mine. I called to offer him some assistance, but he disabled his phone. At some point, I got an email stating...your groceries have been delivered. Well, just not to my apartment. You can't call the store, because employees never, ever answer the phone. I had to get in my car, park and walk around looking for a number 25. Mind you, I am 70 years old and in poor health and it was cold and raining. I located my groceries, made 3 trips to my car lugging very heavy bags, drove home and made three trips to my apartment lugging very heavy bags. Customer service emails back and forth were nothing but aggravating and condescending. No thank you. I will not be shopping Walmart anymore. Our smaller, local grocers actually care about their customers. read more

Walmarts pharmacy in the last eight months has gone from being decent to the most horrible experience I have ever had dealing with shopping, customer service any of that. The people they have working there are the most horrendously rude inconsiderate people I have had to deal with when shopping. You have a prescription put in 3+ hours ago and it's not filled when you get there. They make you wait another hour and they are rude and arrogant when they speak to you. This has happened every single time we have gone to get medication for ourselves and for our two young children. We have tried to change pharmacies but the next closest one to us does not take our insurance so we've been forced to stay with Walmart pharmacy. I dread and loath having to go there. read more

Ordered a prescription in August, and it's still not in yet. I have called 5 times and been there 4 times to talk to the pharmacist. Every time they give me the same line, either they have to call my doctor or they need to order it because they don't have it in. No one in the pharmacy is friendly or helpful. They don't even deserve 1 star. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
