A friend + I travelled over an hour to you cuz you said on the phone you pay cash for cds. Your coed clerk asks for my phone # so she can do her evaluation. Said my collection was worth $85+ for the in-store acct, or $65.35 cash. WTF? Where do you get off taking 25% for yourself? Guess the dogs were there for protection in case customers freak out. Bull Moose Music is now open in the West Street Shopping Center in Keene. I was all smiles when I heard Bull Moose was opening a new store in Southwest NH, where I pass through quite a bit. I usually do most of my music and discounted books shopping at the Bull Moose Music in Salem near my home. This new Bull Moose superstore offers a pretty good selection of new and used music, vinyl records, and movies to choose from, plus video games, books, and other cool stuff. As of this review, this store was still coming together as much of the merchandise was still being unpacked and stocked on the numerous shelves in time for the Grand Opening (December 5, 2015). This store is a pretty good size layout, though not as big as the Salem and Scarborough ME locations. The music is organized by genre with a mix of new and used CDs. The DVDs and Blu-Ray movies are separated and organized alphabetically, TV and music titles separate. The popular and new release music and movies are prominently located near the front of the store, as are the deeply discounted CDs and DVDs. There is also a good selection of video games and game systems in stock and toys, novelties, snacks, candy, and miscellaneous too. The selection of books is pretty decent offered at 35 percent off cover price organized by subject including children's, regional, art, humor, biography, nonfiction, travel, and others. The prices including the sale prices here are very competitive to other area stores (ie. Target and Wal-Mart), except the selection here is a lot better! As a holder of the Bull Moose Music FBC (Freakin' Buyers Card), I earn points with each purchase here and receive the Bull Moose Music weekly emails with their e-sales flyers, new releases, promotions, and events (chainwide). This store stays open late and after midnight on new release dates (typically late Thurs-early Fri). On my recent visit to this store, I purchased a new "NH historical book" for $12.99 ($19.99 cover price). The service at the registers was friendly and prompt. IMO, the new Keene Bull Moose location fills a major void in the area as a specialized store for music, movies, video games, and discounted books. FYE and Borders closed up their stores in Keene a few years ago. So in this area, it was basically just Target, Wal-Mart, and Game Stop. This new location would also be a good place for live artist performances and autograph CD signings, similar to some of their larger and busy stores in Maine. read more

I could live there. Everything you could ever want. Music from opera to big band to c/w to grunge. Movies from Chaplin and Keaton to the latest Marvel heroes. TV shows from My Little Margie to Dr. Who. L.P.s and 45s. The staff is a knowledgeable aggregation of geeks who can find the most obscure books records CD s and ephemera. A total nerdtopia. You can enter any time you want but you will never want to leave. I stole that last part from the Eagles and were they glad to get rid of it. read more

absolutely love & appreciate that they still require masks. it's probably the only place i don't feel too anxious going into anymore because of that. if you don't like the rule then grow up and go somewhere else without complaining about it. they have wicked cool things every time i'm here & their prices are always reasonable and much better than other places or online. i really appreciate the mask rules and hope they stay in place since it makes me feel very safe shopping here & i barely feel any anxiety going in. read more

I've been buying music cd's here for the past year or so and never been disappointed. The selections are huge and varied. My taste in music is eclectic and includes traditional bluegrass, classic rock, folk, new age and classic. If the staff here does not have what I'm looking for they can usually dint it at another store and order it for me. The staff here has consistently been courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection of video entertainment boggles the mind. Everything from Anime to Looney Toons, classic movies and television shows . The store also offers a resurfacing service which can breath new life into older cd's. Don't forget to get a "BullMoose Card" to earn points for discounts or free stuff ! read more

I went too Bull Moose on Saturday the 7 th of dec. I have been going here since they opened. I was looking thru some books in biography dept, I was sitting on the floor looking at the books on the 2 bottom shelves, when I went too get up off the floor I was feeling quite dizzy light headed and knew that I needed a rest or sit down, and regroup, I immediately saw Barbara, I asked If she had a chair I could sit in too regroup, she was so very kind and genuinely cared, then Ted came over, they both sat with me, wanting too know if they could call anyone. Or get me anything. The store was crazy busy, and they took the time with me, which meant so so much. I was ok after a quick rest. I'm so so impressed with them both. Good Bull Moose store, it doesn't have the same amount of inventory that the Scarborough, Portland, or the South Portland store have, but I wonder if that's because it's only a couple of years old. Still it's a wonderful place to get Music, Books, DVDs, and it's awesome to be able to travel up from Massachusetts to reach this location. read more

This place is very convenient. I got some CD's and movies from here yesterday with my mom and the workers where very nice. A very broad selection of CD's, movies, books and other things. I plan on coming here once a month. So expect to see a brown haird teenager with their mother once a month read more
