Today I had the misfortune of stopping at the WORSE Walmart in the entire enterprise. Where you ask? The Walmart located at 2200 Sparkman Dr NW, in Huntsville, AL. I entered through the Car Center door and proceeded to look for what I was looking for with negative results. I attempted to exit via the same way and was informed by customers waiting in the automotive bull pen, that there is no one working at the counter and that I had to exit from the front of the store... as no one was available to push the button so I could get out. I asked who process new care repair orders, oil changes, etc... and was informed that they do it in the bay... Strange at best. As I was walking towards the garden exit in an attempt to rapidly exit stage left, I asked what turned out to be a surly female employee where I could find bug spray for tomato plants? Her response without even looking at me; "over there pointing down the aisle." Really, could you please provide a bit more fidelity? If you're so unhappy working at WalMart on a Sunday afternoon, on a three day weekend you should have paid more attention in school or learned a trade. All in all this place is a DUMP and hell will freeze over before I set foot in it again. read more

My 79 year old father broke a filling and tooth this evening (Saturday 10/17/20). I immediately drove to Wal-Mart (#433, Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, AL), arriving just as they were closing. I told the man at the door what happened and that I really needed to get a temporary tooth repair kit. I knew exactly where it was, and it would only take a few minutes to get it. He nodded and said "tough luck." I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart just over 11 years ago, and this confirms why. It confirms that you have ZERO moral and ethical values, and couldn't care any less for your customers. You were my only hope tonight, as that store was the closest to where I live. As such, my father now has to endure the pain until tomorrow. read more

The staff at this place is terrible. They are not friendly or helpful. I stood in front of a woman for a whole minute before she acknowledged I was there. She didn't even ask if I needed help. Obviously I did, or I wouldn't have stood there. She was fumbling around behind the counter and no one else was around. Then she acted like I was burdening her for her to simply hand me an envelope to put my self print pictures in (because they're too lazy to put them on the machine where they belong). I'm generally not a fan of Walmart, but htis one is the closest to my house. I have to say that they have made some improvements. I'm not sure if they've done some remodeling or if they've just given the place a thorough scrubbing and actually put things away instead of leaving them in the isles on pallets. It took me longer to find (or not find) the items I was looking for because things aren't really organized where I would intuitively expect to find them. The associates are challenging to locate and very adept at not making eye contact. However, when I did directly approach one and ask her a question, she was pleasant enough and provided an answer, although she didn't offer any additional assistance Every so often I have to go to this Walmart to remind me why I usually go to Target instead... or at least the Walmart in Hampton Cove. read more

It is beyond me why this business has the additional half star ! Of all the Walmart locations I've been in this one is the WORST! Customer service is appalling. Associates are not only complacent in their work ethic, they are also rude. Last visit was yesterday. Had to make a return...one person, who had an attitude like that of a DMV employee, manning customer service dept with approx 10 ppl in line, manager came almost opened a register to help but made a quick get away. FINALLY, made it thru that ordeal. Ran by the deli for a couple chicken fingers. Three young ladies working this dept. However, they were too busy talking and laughing--nothing more mind you--to even ask if I wanted anything. Stood for a bit to see if they ever would. They did not. After this I stopped to simply observe. Associates were all over the front checkout area, but few were actually working. It looked like a social gathering of sort. Custer with bewildered looks and in need of something--anything but receiving nothing. I stopped bitching about long lines and closed registers long ago. It's part of the norm now, but never have I witnessed such a total lack of regard for patrons. read more

This is by far the most unprofessional Walmart I've shopped in (I shop in many). On 03/06/16 my sister, niece and myself stopped in to get a few items because I'm visiting from out of town. After checking out the cashier/supervisor and another old cashier said something about me and my friend....she didn't know the lady checking out behind us was my sister...needless to say my sister said something to her, then that's when the confrontation was on. We asked her her name, which she then covered up her name tag....her name was Jessie....I was going to let it ride, but the more I thought about it, I had to go back the next day and speak to the store manager. He assured me he would take care of it....morale of story is....watch what you say about customers in front of other customers....(you never know who's related) and being a supervisor she should've known better! read more

If you time it right, this location isn't bad. I had great service this morning, and it was fairly clean considering they were restocking some. It also wasn't increadibly busy, but I'm assuming it was due to the time and weather. read more

I cant stand this store's Loss Prevention. They make your shopping experience super uncomfortable. I live around the corner from this location and have been shopping here for 2 years. Every time i go which is every couple days, loss prevention follows me and my kids like we are doing something wrong and its to the point where its harassment. Either stop me and search so we can get this over with or leave me alone dammit. I spend too much money here to be treated like this. read more

This Wal-Mart is TERRIBLE!!! Had to give 1 star they dont deserve!!! The employees here are rude A.F. I was in there around 11pm Sunday night. Got a few items to try on, went to the dressing room to try them on. Well i waited and waited, got tired of waiting so i crawled under the door. As soon as i start trying on the first item the big rude lady comes knocking on the door trying to open it!!! Honestly i just thought whoever was working that department was being lazy like most of them are. Everytime i go in there iv not yet had a employee greet me, not much as even a smile. Then on top of that when im done dealing with her, i have to wait in line, the one out of only two lines that was opened and one was a self checkout. You cant tell me Wal-Mart doesnt make enough money to hire FRIENDLY CASHIERS and more of them to help us get in and out. Maybe thats asking to much considering this day in age. I just now started going back their but that will change. Ill stick with Dollar General anywhere but that place. Im not even going to start on the return policy!!! read more
