The Store Pickup service is a joke. Got the notification that my order was ready and drove to the Irving location (1635 Market Place Blvd Irving, TX 75063) and arrived around 3:45 PM (06/08/20202). I parked and called the number (214-587-1147) six or seven times and nobody picked up the phone. I asked 2 Delivery Associates for help and they rudely ignored me. Then I got our of my car to ask them again and they told me to get back in my car. I asked them again from the inside of my car and both ignored me again. By then, they hadn't even asked the name of my order. A third Delivery Associate passed by and finally spoke to me; however, said my order wasn't ready (which was a lie). I went inside the store to ask help and this nice lady helped me and got it done in 3 minutes (Yes, my order was ready). This is an unacceptable service, especially when your company is trying to be 'tech friendly' and incompetent delivery associates. read more

Worst one I've ever been to they only put 1 or 2 people at the help desk for returns and it seems they pick the most disrespectful ones. Oh yeah and the only lane that are really open are the self checkout so good luck with that. The scanners suck and make you wait for approval to complete the transaction because the machine thinks you are trying to pull a fast one i guess. I literally had to watch a play back video on the scanners monitor screen and explain what i was scanning. Like, " yes i scanned that look at the list", to some air head before i could finish my purchase. I don't know WHY I decided to come here. I can deal with crowds and the people but the workers are horrible. They don't know how to ring up individual bottled water as a group. So stupid. Even the lead person who helps. I just refused to buy it and the cashier continued to tell me that if they are not grouped together that she can't ring them up that way. I was fine. Just ring me out. If I could leave a a zero star review I would. This Walmart says it closes at 11 pm. I come around 8 pm after work, and they start kicking customers out around 8:15 pm. For what reason? I do not know. I was only able to get a few grocery items that I needed on my list. An employee basically kept harassing me to leave. He couldn't even ask "can I help you find anything?" Or "we are closing, but do you need help finding anything?" This is ridiculous that Walmart displays this level of unprofessionalism after Texas was hit with the worst snow storm in 20 years and I can't even finish my grocery shopping to get me through the week. read more

This is probably the only place I know of where curbside pickup is slower than shopping in store. Amazingly, timing does not matter here. I was the only one that had arrived and verified that I was here. An employee had even verified my orders and said she'd be right out. Then a few more cars showed up and checked in AND got their orders before me. Fifteen minutes later and I finally get part of my order and they said the rest wasn't in stock. Except, it ALL was in stock, but one item, not 13 of the other items Walmart FAILED to deliver. read more

This review is for the Automotive team. I noticed I had a flat tire as I was passing Walmart. I pulled into the automotive side and employee Joe Davis came out to help me. He was polite and quick. He showed me how my tires were wearing and explained that I needed an alignment. Even though they did not have the correct tire size at this location, Joe proceeded to put the donut on my car. I placed an order that was not delivered. Called to check the status and was told they were working on it. This was at 8:20 pm. I asked to speak with a person who could give me the exact time of delivery. That person said everyone was gone for the day, and I would get it the next morning. I did, but only about 1/8th of the order. I called to see where my order was and they didn't know. I spent half of my day on the phone trying to get an order I eventually canceled. I do not recommended this service to anyone. The chance of a mistake is not worth the headache. Try another grocery delivery company instead. There are a lot out there. read more

Do not come here to pick up your Ticketmaster tickets. No one can work the machine there and they will send you clear across town to get them at the Airport freeway location. I come here for quick odds and ends and they are usually fully stocked. I mean really folks...can you beat the prices at Wally World? Absolutely not. Is it a pain in the patootie to navigate and the lines are ridiculously long? Absolutely yes. But because they always have what I need I will continue to pop in and out of here. End of story. Im here during the day on a Wednesday. Only 3 check out lines are open and the rest are scan and go. I'm behind 10 elderly who have to wait in line for a long time just to check out their groceries. Elderly aren't able to "scan & go," as they aren't as up to date with technology. Disappointed with the customer service. I wish I could give negative stars. I ordered something "site to store" because it was 30 dollars cheaper than anything else online (which shocked even me). I should have just paid the difference and got it from Amazon. I waited 30 mins in a cramped area while no less than a dozen store associate walked by and didn't even acknowledge the patrons and myself waiting to pick something up. Completely disorganized mess..... if it weren't for the lowest socioecenomic denominator, this place would be out of business..... bathroom was filthy, employee's knew nothing about products, and it's a completely gross store..... even compared to other walmarts. BEWARE of expired food. I was in the store 4/4/14 to buy Bolthouse drinks in the juice section. They were dated with 3/18/14 as the expiration date. I found this woman to help me and she brought it to the attention of the what I call, manager of this section. He said ok. She removed the expired products (about 12 bottles). These products have no preservatives and require refrigeration. SHAME ON WALMART!!!!! Like everyone else, I shop here due to the low prices but Kroger is slowly catching up to WalMart with the low prices. Kroger may be 10 to 50 cents more but the stores are clean, well-stocked and the employees are helpful and professional. Kroger is slowly becoming my store to shop for all of my grocery needs. Las Colinas Walmart is worth the drive from the Irving Walmart. Much cleaner and less people touting their gang affiliation as they take a break from pushing carts. Honestly, I wouldn't shop here at all for myself but I'm forced to the low, low prices of Walmart as I shop for people at work. Be careful if you go to the bathrooom as the employees may take all your s@#t and put it back, like they did to me. Needless to say, I was pissed. OK, so I had to shop at about 5 different Wal-mart stores for camping gear. I was really pleased with this stores variety of camping gear and just how much they had to offer. I am no avid camper but I just wanted to be extra prepared in case I got stranded in the woods for days & I had to have my air mattress to get me by. I can spend so much time in these stores walking around trying to figure out what I need only to end up in another section of the store walking around like rain man. I walk around admiring all the great sales and wondering how I can fit that into what I actually came to buy. I found a rain suit that i actually had to use most of the weekend. I also found a great deal on a queen sized air mattress that had a pump that was battery operated pure greatness. I even was feeling extra frisky so I bought a knife for my camp out why I don't even know? The store was in great shape and it looks like they have already had the renovation where the store is very bright and and the bright blue really stands out. The store was well stocked and the staff was great when I had questions. There was a young guy in the camping section whose expertise was on full display while I watched & listened to him point numerous people to various places in the store. People asked him all types of questions man that dude needs a raise. I'm kicking myself I should have grabbed a manager and told them that this guy was like whoa! read more

As many of us know Walmart is a horrible corporation. I would've given them zero stars if it were possible to do that on Yelp. Today is Friday, December 11. I went into Walmart to go to the hair salon at approximately 1145 am. I had pulled out of my parking space and my truck was completely in the lane to drive out. There was a Walmart employee, a short Hispanic gentleman, age late 20s to mid 30s, wearing his hair in a short ponytail and wearing dark glasses, similar to aviators. PLEASE NOTE, I do not give this description because I am a racist (so save that for a rainy day.) I give this description on the off chance that this Walmart, on Market Center, Boulevard in Irving Texas will actually monitor social media sites. The Corporate Walmart web site is so intentionally convoluted that you cannot get close to any customer service link. Anyway, this man couldn't have been 6" from my truck with a row of shopping carts. I know he didn't see it because he looked up at the last second and in an annoyed tone said 'bitch'. Nice. A positive hire Walmart. Do you have the stones to address this. Or will you hire 10 more of his ilk? Not A big surprise as to which one my money is on. read more

What a ghastly experience we just had with the pick up service. My wife made an order last night and asked my son to pick it up. He arrived at the store and my wife confirmed that he had arrived and was in bay 8. My son then at there for almost an hour before he finally asked (that's on him). He was told that Walmart track the app and, because the order was on my wife's phone and the gps indicated she was wasn't there, they didn't take the stuff out. Then, after my son had asked for the items, the power goes out at the store and he can't retrieve the items at all. He comes home empty handed despite us paying for the items. As I type this my son is back at Walmart trying to get our items and is again being given the run around .Because he doesn't have much time it looks at though he will again come home with nothing. I used to love Walmart but they're now a bit like what K-Mart had become. I appreciate they are community minded and that may save them as far as me being a customer, but I will NEVER use their drive up service again. read more

Typical Walmart. Good prices (not always the best) mixed in with employees complaining about who is currently on break. Look for meat thrown on top of chewing gum at check out, chips stashed in the freezer with pizzas, and open loaves of bread. (Yes, things I have seen here.) Good in a pinch, but not an every week grocery shopping experience I would want to have. Every now and then you'll find a nice person at check out. They now accept AMEX. Definitely a plus. read more
