I was in your store on Saturday, July 6. I was facing a HUGE dilemma, because my debit card had been compromised. After numerous attempts to use my Walmart app to make a purchase, it wasn't working. The VERY sweet cashier, which unfortunately I didn't get his name helped me tremendously. I was referred to Customer Service. Let me tell you the representative, was BEYOND patient with me while I tried to get my account in order. She assisted me and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Her name is Victoria Garcia. While I try to never shop here, I did an online order and it was the third (and the last) order I'll place. Each order had errors and for this last one, I received a text that items weren't available. I have a difficult time believing that WM lacks the technology to let you know when placing an order as to whether it is in stock. Even a $10 coupon code will not convince me to try them again - 3 strikes and they're out. read more

I would NOT recommend getting your oil changed here. Giving 1 star only because I have to All this time I thought I'm getting the Mobile 20 weight and come to find out these people are putting whatever brand/weight oil they feel like it. I asked for Mobile. My receipt says penzoil and service tech told me he put in Castro oil. What kind of Micky Mouse place is Walmart running here with, seemingly, no supervision where service techs disregard customer request to a specific oil? Chris was training a new employee this day. We came here when we were visiting Walmart and let me tell you! Whoever is the manager of this location needs a HUGE KUDOS and a raise! This is hands down the cleanest, most organized Walmart I have ever seen. On top of that, everyone that greeted us and passed by that worked there were all smiles and super friendly! Every single Walmart I have been in, in any state is dirty, unorganized, rude staff and under staffed. They have tons of self check out (which I'm not a fan of because less jobs for community) but there were still about 10 associates live to ring you up as well. I was even amazed at how clean the restrooms were; clean, fully stocked and perfectly maintained. Great job to all the employees who clearly have pride in their work! read more

Moderately bussing store. Great selection, workers are questionable. A lot of the staff are very helpful and friendly, and will go out of their way to help you! However, a small portion of the staff are unhelpful, rude, or unprofessional. The store is moderately clean, most of the time there are no messes. I appreciate the recent remodel, although it seems as if the brand new thinks are already breaking. There is an entirely shattered display shelf, which is quite interesting. In the produce, the bag holders didn't have that little hook to break the bag seal, nor were they in confident spots. The store is moderately ghetto, not a lot though. Store has great potential, Walmart is a great company. I love how they stock the rubbing alcohol in the pharmacy section, good job! This store is very nice, it can be bougie. Goodbye read more

Went to buy a $180 Christmas tree and it took over 45 mins for someone to come help get the tree off of the shelf. The manager who wanted to block a whole lane just so he can move mulch is ridiculously rude!! Never met anyone so unprofessional ever in my 48 years of life. He was obnoxious and rude told me to go around instead of just scooting up just a tad bit so I can go by.. not sure why the city lets them block 3lanes just for mulch! I'm not sure why they bother offering either service when they can't meet a (1) hour window. And the poor customer service continues with in store experiences. The service for an oil change is ridiculously slow for not having any customers!! Then they get upset when you ask them what is taking so long. Sunday is my only day off. I just want to start this out by saying that this location is not the closest one to me. I actually drive 5-10 extra minutes to Kemah to go to this Wal-Mart. It's the only one I actually don't mind shopping at. Things I typically hate about Wal-Mart include the insanely long checkout lines, the sheer amount of people shopping at any given time of the day, the people in general, and a public restroom that rivals some of the truck stop unisex bathrooms I've seen in the middle of nowhere towns. The Kemah Wal-Mart has none of these things. Sure it has people, but even when the parking lot looks full it seems like there's hardly anyone in the store when you're inside. If I go late at night sometimes I hardly see anyone. It's just so pleasant. Even during holiday shopping season I don't mind going to the Kemah Wal-Mart which is saying a lot. read more

This is a pretty nice Walk Mart; clean ,nice staff, good product range. I needed an adapter for a forgotten tablet I had, and the electronics clerk helped me find the right match. Needed radiator fluid, found that with no problem either. People want to get in and out of these places as quickly as possible, whether they're spending thirteen dollars or three hundred dollars. They don't want to go back to the dairy section and see their face on a milk carton or a silver alert text. read more

I tried the new Pickup service today for an item out the pharmacy. Unfortunately, things didn't go as smooth as I expected... When I arrived to the futuristic looking kiosk there was already a customer there waiting. She said she had scanned her order code and had been there for several minutes. I decided to enter my order code manually, and received the "an associate will be with you momentarily" notice. Well, we waited at least 15 minutes before a manager cane by and asked how long we had been waiting. We then had to provide our information again for him to retrieve our merchandise from the warehouse. Never the less, both I and the other customer agreed that we could've gotten the items faster than using the service by shopping for ourselves. However, the manager was very friendly and I have faith that with a little tweaking this could be an awesome service. read more

On my recent visit I was verbally and physically assaulted by an employee, a black guy named Cordell. Upon arriving at the store, he began yelling at me in an aggressive manner. Later when I attempted to check out, he was waiting and blocking the entrance to the registers and bumped into me with his shoulder and physically assaulted me with a mop by flailing it at my lower leg and feet. This store can not get its pricing right on some items, Item price on display low but at the cashier when it was scan it is much higher, please update your pricing, then when you catch the discrepancy, they will tell you to go the LONG LINE at the customer service, then when you ask for a manager, no manager available, then when you tell the associate/s to fix the issue, was told not his department or "not my job" mentality oooh Lordy...lord what kind of customer service is this Mr. Walmart. Worst experience EVER!!! David the coach manager has no customer service skills, I don't know how he is still even employed in this industry. I went and there was large shorts on sale for 1/2 the price, and when I asked for the same discount to be applied on the same exact shorts same color and everything except a smaller size he threw a fit at the counter and ripped the discounted sticker off and claimed it was first "only on sale because of the color". So I said great can you price match the smaller size in the same color? Then the excuse was "it was a mistake these are full price" watching a grown man throw such a hissy fit was humiliating let alone the fact that he's their leadership... I attached the pictures and the tag correctly labeled matching the tag on the shorts. I also filled out the survey on the receipt but just got a call back from that same store just a customer service agent who said David is their boss so there's nothing they can do. read more

Ok, so I can admit that people can change, and I guess Walmarts can too! We stopped by here to shop just to see what the prices were like and to see what kind of selection they had. They have cleaned the place up and the people seemed very friendly, but we still spend about the same at Kroger, and truthfully, the lines move a LOT quicker and the workers and customers are friendlier. I guess if you buy a lot of snack cakes, chips, and soda, you can save money at Walmart. I don't, so for me, Kroger is a better deal. It depends on your eating habits, and since I am REALLY trying to do better with mine, Walmart no longer fits the bill for us. It's nice to know it's cleaner, but still it's not enough to make me a regular shopper. read more

Ok so I have lived almost right next to this store since it opened. It just keeps going down hill. Unclean, disorganized, cluttered. The only redeeming thing they have done in years is the McDonald s was finally rebuilt inside. The sad thing is that it was such a dirty nasty McDonalds for so long that I still can't bring myself to eat there. The Walmart parking lot is trash strewn and disgusting and the employees many of which are nice reflect the low brow clientele who visit this location. The people watching here is top notch and sadly the employee watching is not much different. They at least used to have some nice greeters but have did away with that job. All in all I will drive farther and pay more just to avoid the eyesore 99% of the time. There is a super target and a walgreens very close. There is also a Kroger not far away. Really the fact that I would pay more rather speaks volumes since I am a bargain hunter. read more

I dropped off my vision rx a little over a week ago. I took a friend to help me decide on new frames.following my sister's advice, I also took numerous selfies. Betty, the vision advisor was so patient and helpful. I chose a new pair of frames. Betty said it would be a couple of weeks before my "new" eyes were ready. Saturday, I received the call telling me my glasses were ready. I went back today. Betty greeted me warmly. I tried on the new specs. WOW!!! I like coming to this location because they have lots of souvenir items and I am always needing something for a gift for someone, people who live here enjoy getting visitor stuff as gifts:-) It's also always a nice drive out here and to go out to the boardwalk after and sit along the waterfront is always relaxing. Some days I can get a tension releasing scalp massage with my hair wash at the salon when Mrs. Brenda is at work or nice friendly personable service from Mrs. Bernadette; great mid week or Sunday place for my hair conditioning set quick in no appointment and after the work day when everyone else is closed on a Monday or its too late during the week. The store is a bit crowded and I feel it doesn't has much space to go between aisles which is why the 3 stars and the produce section is often out of items which are coming kind, have been ordered or will need to be restocked. read more

Walmart is great. But that's not the problem here. It's the McDonalds that's inside of Walmart that's the problem, well more so the lady behind the cash register. Name starts with S and ends with Usanna. I ordered my food, payed with cash. And I noticed she did not give me my change back. Right in front of me, without caring, she put MY CHANGE in HER SHIRT POCKET. She did it very naturally too, as if she has done this before... I looked at her and asked her for my change back. She gave me a really rude look, reached into her shirt pocket, and gave me my change back. Doesn't matter if it was 50 cents, it's still my change. Not hers. If she's stealing from customers right in front of them, what else could she be stealing? Not good. McDonalds and or Walmart need to look into this and correct this problem. Was looking for a specific Xmas gift. Found it available at Walmart. Thought that I'd give them a try. Not Amazon. Not even close. I got an email saying my order shipped on the 14th and that it would be delivered on the 17th. My credit card was charged. So far as expected....then. It did not arrive. Now when I track it at FedEx it says a label was created but it has not shipped. Tried to contact them and they referred me to the seller. Nothing. Tried to follow up they told me to wait 48hrs for a reply. To sum it up: they provided bad information in order to bill me....immediately, provided false shipping/delivery information, customer service just stalls, and they say a refund takes 5-7 days. I guess this is everything that I should have expected from Walmart. read more
