One of the best stores in the area! Are they are doing quite a bit of renovations recently, so stuff has been moved around like the pet food but besides that I don't see any issues! staff are very helpful here, and and if you were struggling to find a staff member around the Walmart app has the aisle numbers which Has been helpful. One of the managers actually showed me how it works, which was awesome! Are overall not a bad store and pretty good prices. Also, keep in mind it is next to a college town so most of the staff is college students! they've got a lot more to worry about than Walmart so don't be rude to them! read more

This Walmart is ridiculous. I had a grocery pick up on Sunday approximately 3pm. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I got my order and went home. When I got home, I was missing the cat litter I ordered, and received a "boppy" pillow instead. No big deal, I can call and explain what happened and switch out the incorrect for the correct, right? Wrong. Not only will they not exchange the products, but the manager told my husband that the pillow didn't even come from their store. I haven't been to any other Walmarts, and I'm seriously not trying to scam them out of cat litter of all things. The boppy pillow is $39.98, the cat litter is $19.98. WTF Walmart?? How about you give me what I ordered and paid for the first time, and not accuse your customers of trying to swindle you. Not to mention, you took the pillow that "didn't come from your store" and still won't honor my original order. I won't be ordering from you again. Wow. These reviews. I've been shopping at this Walmart location for almost 10 years, and it's fine. No idea where all the negative reviews are coming from. Store is generally well-stocked, and I haven't ever had an issue with staff. Pharmacy is way better than most I've dealt with - WAY better. Sounds like a bunch of whiny, entitled babies to me. 5 Stars to Walmart, really? Yep, and here's why! First, I HATE giving all my $ to the Waltons and Jeff Bezos, but what do I do, I buy from them almost every stinkin' day.... This is my local Walmart that I've been going to since they opened, at least twice a week. I've even been to this stupid Walmart 4 times IN ONE FREAKING DAY! So that puts me at well OVER 1,000 trips to this Walmart over the last 10 years. I know what you're thinking, this guy obviously just needs to get out of the house, well maybe or he's just the king of saying "Yes, Dear!" as I head out with (and many times without) THE list. Because more often than not you can find me staring at my phone near the front door, wondering where the heck THE LIST is. One time I texted my beautiful wife about 45 times 1 word at a time when I got there because she wasn't answering: I'VE, BEEN, HERE, FOR, 10, MIN., WHERE, IS, THE, LIST?, WHY, WONT, YOU, ANSWER, YOUR, PHONE?, YOU, ARE, GOING, TO, KILL, ME, WHEN, YOU, FINALLY, REALIZE, WHO, IS BLOWING, YOU, UP. CAN, I, PLEASE, GET, THE, LIST, PEOPLE, ARE, STARTING, TO, LOOK, AT, ME, FUNNY... Yeah I got a few expletives back when she finally came to.. LOL, it was worth it So, then after I grab the Tide pods, the milk, eggs, pull ups, yadda, yadda, I then get to go up and down the potions and lotions aisle aimlessly looking for some $16 (.03 oz.) bottle of some make up I've never heard of thats so tiny it takes me 10 minutes to find it. Meanwhile all the Women feel like I'm the creeper that wont leave their section! Only to get home and find out I was supposed to get "Organic" Milk, "Lavender" Tide Pods, Size "4T" pull ups "you don't know how big your son is, really?", the brown eggs (not the white ones...). So, needless to say I've been messing up the groceries for well over a decade. BUT WAIT, THOSE DAYS ARE OVER "Cue Hallelujah Choir"! Walmart has a "Grocery" App! Now, my wife picks out exactly what she wants on my Walmart account, and I NEVER HAVE TO GO IN TO THE STORE AGAIN!! Plus the GPS Gods tell them I'm there, so they put the groceries in my car while I watch Netflix in the parking lot, YES, YES, YES! "Oh Babe, when is your order ready for pick up?" Oh ok, well, I cant really go until about 5 when I'm done "working." Hoping pick up will be really busy, so I might even get half a show in while I wait YES, YES, YES!!!! Never again do I have to stare down the largest butt crack on the face of the planet in the scooter in front of me while digging for Goldfish on the bottom shelf! Never again do I have to pretend to be listening to music while shopping because I'm just not in the mood to talk to anyone. Never again do I have to go find an unhappy worker to confirm they are really out of "Velveeta Queso Blanco" because I know I'll be in trouble if I don't bring home exactly what was on the list and didn't ask. Never again do I have to be scared to touch a shopping cart worried I might die from the germs. UNTIL..... I'm sitting in the PICK UP cue and I get that text: "Honey, I'm sorry, but I forgot to order butter. Can you PLEASE go inside and get it...... I mean you're already there...." I HATE leaving 1 star reviews. And if you've read my past reviews......you know they aren't often. But, when a business is just THAT BAD, sometimes you have to. This is one of those instances. Are you looking for rude and unhelpful staff? Unstocked shelves? A Walmart that is disorganized, dirty and otherwise hap hazard? Then this is the place for you. Sadly, I have to frequent this Walmart....it is close to home. But man, I wish I didn't. I have yet to run into an employee that enjoys their job. Or even has a desire to help customers at all. Smug faces and help with a huff...that's what I get each and every single time I shop. So much so, that I don't even bother asking. Hey, it's Walmart, but in a college town, we have two. This is by far, the nicer one. Shorter check out lines, more registers open late at night. Friendly cashiers, and a self-check out, which goes rather smoothly. They just started grocery pick-up. Haven't tried it. But they have it. read more

On Saturday morning Oct 27th we had used the "alleged" Easy order groceries and they will let you know when it is ready to pick up. At 11.00 a.m. my wife received the call the order was ready. Not until 12.15 p.m. 75 minutes later were the groceries bought to the car. As usual a Program is rolled out and do not have the staff to adequately provide a good service. Extremely disappointing. When I called to express my grievance the young man was nice but i was on hold for 5 minutes waiting to talk to someone. DO NOT ROLL OUT PROGRAMS THAT MAKE A CUSTOMER WAIT 80 Minutes. It is broken. If you do online grocery ordering my guess is it will be faster at 8.00 p.m. on a Wednesday night, maybe then when you re called to get the groceries they will be ready. Upper management of Wal Mart. Fix this. Totally unacceptable for customer service on every level. There is not one thing that can be said to excuse this. I am in total Amazement. read more

This Walmart has the most terrible customer service I have ever seen. I am a Door Dash driver trying to collect products for one of my customers. The pick up instructions were unclear so I decided to go inside the store and asked. I was first disappointed when my friend walked in and tried politely asked three workers for 2 seconds of their time to ask where the parking spots were. Five of the workers completely ignored her and when one finally decided to say something they responded with "I don't f**king know." I then told my friend to leave because I was not going to let the workers disrespect her when she asked a simple question. I then called the store and asked where the pick up spots were? The lady on the phone was not helpful every time I asked she would keep asking me what spot are you in? AFTER I TOLD HER I CANT FIND THE SPOTS! Then one of the workers came to my car and told me I had to move. Me already 30 minutes late for my order, I desperately asking him where the spots were so I can get my order as soon as possible. He then tells me I have to go inside after the other coworkers told me I needed to park outside. With none of the workers being able to help me I had to cancel the order and caused me to loose money for Door Dash. I would not recommend going here to pick up a door dash the employees are very rude. read more

Stay away from their service center. Dropped off ours sons car a little after noon to have tires put on. Was told it would be 3.5 hours. My son goes to see what the status is at 330pm. He's told it'll be another hour before it gets in. They hadn't even started on it yet. Apparently they bite off more than they can chew or they're slow as molasses. Needless to say they will not be getting any future business. I should've known better, this walmart in general is terrible. Guess the service dept just follows their lead. read more

As a rule, I try to avoid Walmart, as even the express lanes seem to move at a snail's pace. Even the self-checkout always seems to need a cashier's assistance, which is a problem when they all seem to have problems at once. Do this experiment: Note the number of open lanes when you enter. It's almost guaranteed that, by the time you leave, there will be about half as many open. Note to Walmart: When a customer sees an open cashier lane, that customer's first thought isn't going to be that you have too many cashiers. It's going to be relief that there is someone to help them without having to wait forever. And when you do find a short line at this Walmart, it's not because the cashier is quick and efficient. It's likely because they haven't the first clue what they're doing, and are waiting on a manager to figure out how they messed up. There is one cashier, late evening, into the hours after midnight, that I will avoid at all costs. If she is the only one there, I will just leave my cart where it's standing and go home, since it will likely be an hour before I get through, which is unacceptable at best. Sadly, the other Walmarts in the area are even worse: One almost always has poorly stocked shelves, and at the other, I swear this is true: Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday, mid evening, packed parking lot, lots of people on the store, ONE REGISTER OPEN. I waited in line twenty minutes and NOT ONE PERSON WAS CHECKD OUT. I left my cart right there and went to another store, 10 minutes away. Cost me a few dollars more, but I was done shopping and checked out in less time than it took me to stand in one spot waiting for who knows what at Walmart. My wife used to work at Walmart, in the photo lab, and back then they treated the employees pretty well. She was quite happy and liked her coworkers. We had stock in the company. Walmart has gone way downhill over the past decade, or so, and I avoid going as much as I possibly can. I would rather pay more than deal with the negatives that are now commonplace across the system. It's sad. Oh, and NEVER let them change the oil in your car. read more

Customer Service at this Kent/Tallmadge Walmart is horrible. I was at the desk to return something last night. And I just stood there while all 4 of the employees behind the CS counter ignored me. And instead they just continued talking and laughing about something they were looking at. Finally one of the girls decided to look up (not at me because she and the others all knew I was there) and then she pointed to one of the other so called "customer service associates" and said "get her" - really? So, the lady walked over to her register, never saying one word to me or even looking at me. And she just started typing away on her cash register. She then reached her hand out to grab the receipt she saw me holding. No eye contact, no how can I help you, nothing! She just did her thing then started asking a co-worker if she was going back to the department where the un-used, original ticketed item needed to be placed back on the shelf. I stood there thinking OK, I used to get a refund receipt when I returned something? Are we just done? Should I just leave? And she acted like she finally noticed me still standing there and said "oh, here" and handed me my receipt. I walked away - deciding that I will never go there again. I made (6) attempts to reach the store manager by pushing the button for customer service this morning. But NOT ONE SINGLE person answered in (6) tries!!!!! read more

Worst Walmart ever. Sold us a dirty microwave and then wouldn't take it back. Didn't want to help, just wanted to be combative. Said that they couldn't have put a dirty microwave on back on the shelf because all thier returns go to their claims department. Stood there arguing with my elderly grandmother for 15 minutes basically calling her a liar. We called the next closest Walmart in Stow and they couldn't have been more helpful. Can I just say this Walmart is SO dirty so unorganized. A lot of workers stand around goofing around talking. I see a bunch of food and drinks opened up all the time all over the place. I see NOBODY ever walk around and get it or clean it up. Such trashy place. I walked by the breads and oh my gosh. I seen three bag of buns have mold on it it was green I walked to the next clerk I seen around and told them can you go back to the bread aisle and look to see more please this is so gross. I was trying to purchase a television on July 21, 2019 when my credit card was declined. I was embarrassed so I called my credit card company and they put a hold on my card because they figured someone stole my card. The gentleman who was waiting on me, Justin Malone was so kind and understanding. I was on hold so I started talking to Justin and heard he was suppose to go on break so I said to him to go ahead because I felt so bad that my credit card company was taking so long. Justin said to me, no I'm good, customers comes first he said with a sincere smile. So not to be in the way I had stepped to the side so he could wait on other customers. Finally after almost an hour my card went thru and then he helped me out with it and put it in my suv. Justin was the most professional, kind, empathetic and very knowledgeable employee in that department I have come across in many Walmart stores that I have visited. Thank you Justin! The grocery online ordering and pick up has terrible customer service, lengthy wait times and often charges for missing items! I've done online order and pick up for a few years in Columbus with not one issue, in and out quickly. I moved to NE Ohio a few months ago and cannot believe the experience at this store. Each order is a hassle, generally waiting 15-35 minutes before they bring out your order. It is such a convenient service but I would recommend going to a different store!! They forgot to load a $40 oscillating fan. When I called, they said "Yes, we know. We are looking at the fan now." Yet it is an act of Congress to get corrected. The associate was not helpful, the supervisor didn't follow thru with correcting the order, the next few associates were not helpful and the 2nd supervisor - again didn't follow thru! read more

Don't ever buy dairy at this location. At least 3 or 4 times in the last four months, I have purchase dairy and came home to see it is more than a month expired. I can understand a day or two, but a month. The last time I was very angry because I bought fresh mozzarella and went to use it at home and it was more than 6 weeks expired. Thank god I checked because I am pregnant and this could have made me violently ill. I sent an email to the store, tweeted and sent an email to their community manager after they responded to my tweet and nothing back. They sure as heck do not care about their customers. Especially ones who spent a good $1,000 a month there on groceries. Needless to say, they lost my business. read more

Terrible operation. I have been there on six occasions in the past 6 month at 7:00AM before work to buy Lipton diet green teas in 12 packs. On three of those trips (50%) the shelves are bare. No reason for this. The number of associates they have one should notice this walking down the aisle and get someone to attend to this. I'm talking three levels of shelves bare!!!!! Bad enough I have to park a mile from the doors. Also no associates say hi. They avoid you like you have a plague. I walk past four associates and not one says hi or good morning. I have given up on this location. I will drive the extra 2-3 miles to a locally owned grocer and maybe pay a little more to get what I need. read more
