Will my order be processed faster than anyone else's? Doubtful. I see at least three runners working. I do like that Walmart had a bigger selection of grocery items over their competitor Target. Walmart carried jumbo sized baking potatoes in an 8 pound sack ($5.44). This isn't something that'll I'd see on the Target app. They also carried Marketside grass fed ground beef individually packed per pound ($6.26/lb) versus Costco's bulk 6 pound tray of standard 88/12 ($6/lb). It's a ten minute wait for my medium sized grocery order to be delivered to the car. Mind you, it was ready for pickup earlier in the morning at 7-8a. These young adults, at least my runner, do not know how to load groceries starting from heavy to ending with fragile items. The green onions were placed at the bottom of the bag and then crushed by heavier groceries. Thank goodness I didn't have any eggs in my order. I had to tell this guy to put the items in the bag. I wrote a review on the app and asked for a refund as well for 3 items in which I did not ask for. On the app I ordered 6 Jennie O turkey meats 99/1 . I receive only three correct and the other three given to me were 93/7 (the fat percentage). I received an Email saying they are refunded me for only one which doesn't make sense if it's Walmarts fault with this mistake. Also when you order on the app you can choose not to substitute specific things in which the meat was not supposed to be substituted . I had no notification saying that it was. I cook this meat for my dogs and my mom picked up my mobile order for this. So when I got home I saw the meat she was cooking for my dogs was the 93/7 percent fat I said that's not what I ordered. Well she didn't know otherwise she wouldn't have cooked it for our dogs dinner. So that's when I checked my app to see if there was something I did on my end that was wrong. Nope I ordered the correct meat 99/1 percentage and I check the app to see if I missed a notification saying they were subbing the meat for 93/7 and nope no notification for that. A lot of items were locked up, but I appreciate items not being tampered with. Certain items like make up tends to have problems with people opening and swatching products without buying. The downside is waiting for staff to open the locked items. I was able to buy everything I needed so it was good visit. Cashier was friendly too. read more

Ordered through Walmart App, for pickup. It's a popular option, was unable get it due to scheduling, unable to get Wednesday, so pushed it Thursday. No problems. It enabled us to add some items later that we missed on the original order. Loved how the app allowed for the flexibility. Appreciate the app prompts when we get close to the store to check in, and let them know which spot we occupy. Five minutes after arriving have our Order, with substitutions, and we are on our way. I came here on tuesday night with two of my friends, it was almost closing time so I headed quickly to the self checkout line to pay for a couple of items I got. My friends were still shopping so I moved my bag over to a register that was closed at self checkout so I wouldn't be in the way of last minute shoppers. I called my friend to let her know I was waiting for her in the front. All of a sudden I notice this old white lady with a name tag of Lena hovering over me like Michael Myers. She was staring at me with such hostility, it was palpable. Then she started interrogating me, I don't know what her job is but certainly not loss prevention. I smiled to break the tension and told her I was waiting for my friends to finish shopping. She pointed at my bag and asked me if I paid for my stuff. Really? If I stole items I wouldn't be dumb enough to stand around, anybody would leave as quickly as possible. I have worked in a police station 20 years now and make over 1,000 dollars a week. I don't have to steal a deodorant and a can of spam. So I showed her my receipt to get her off my back and she still said, "Well you were standing by the closed register." I told her I paid and moved out the way and was just waiting for my friends as they are my ride home. This lady made me very uncomfortable and angry with her rude behavior, I wonder how many other customers she has falsely accused of stealing. I don't think she has the professionalism or patience to be working with the public, she makes Walmart look even worse because most of their employees on the floor are so unfriendly and useless anywhere you go. I've been ordering scrubs from Walmart and just various household products almost every week, and I'll say that I'm satisfied with the service. Scrubstar has so far been better than Hanes because of the design and fit. The ClimateRight by Cuddl Duds were disappointing for both the top and bottom. Their Clorox drain cleaner sticks was efficient and was affordable like most of their products. They also have some of the best prices for snacks, like the Calbee shrimp chips, fulfilled by Walmart arrived in great condition. Usually, I don't return items, but I had to bring back 3 from an online order because of the sizing. The employee was very kind and patient! He even took the time to go over the receipt with me and highlighted the tracking number for the 3rd party refund. 10 out of 10 recommend. Even though there are delays from time to time due to the rain, I'm always impressed at how quickly my packages are here. read more

I recently purchased a gaming PC from the Buena Park location. I had troubleshooting issues within 48 hours and I decided to return the PC. I live closer to La Habra location and made sure I disclosed this when purchasing the PC and inquiring about Walmarts return policy on electronics. I was told, within 30 days I can return to any Walmart just as their policy states on the receipt. Upon trying return the PC at the LA Habra location I was met with whispers from employees at the service desk and then told I cannot return it there because it wasn't purchased there. I questioned this since not only did I have all components I had the receipt with the policy clearly indicated on it as well as matching serial numbers. The coach, Diana was called up and told me that's she's not going to accept my return because people have been stealing parts and it's now the "market policy". Saying she was under the direction of Carlos Gomez. This was proven to be false by neighboring Walmarts in this same market but Diana continued to repeat that this was policy. When I reported this, I was called and offered the same false story that Diana told me about how this is policy. No apology for how I was treated, only an apology that the policy was so new that no one else knows about it. This was insulting to experience. I would suggest if you do not or cannot hire adequate enough staff to verify serial numbers on components, you maybe should stop selling big ticket serialized items. Especially if you don't plan on posting signage regarding your made up policies that are inconsistent with corporate. I was able to get help by the knowledgeable and professional buena park staff who within less than five minutes could verify all of my serial numbers and parts matched. Do not shop at this location in La Habra if you must shop at Walmart. As for me, I'll stick to Target based on this terrible service with no honest apology for the poor treatment. read more

I have passed by this Walmart so many times, either on the way to Sam's Club or etc. but finally ending stopping by a few weeks ago because the item I was looking for was in-stock. Thank goodness for the Walmart website on being "up-to-date" on in-stock items because I was considering stopping by the Walmart location, closer to Harbor, but the website mentioned that the item I was looking for was not in-stock. This Walmart is in the same plaza as the Lowe's and Sam's Club. I was able to find parking close to the entrance of the store, and was able to find my item quickly, with the help of an employee. So, it's Walmart, I get it, you're not going to get any kind of customer service. I came in because I purchased an electronic item yesterday that did not work and I needed to exchange it. If I have to actually step foot in Walmart, I'm doing it early in the morning because this store is a mess and far too crowded any time after 7am. I walk in, get the typical stare down from the door greeter (I'm using greeter very lightly) and head over to customer service which is all dark. So I go back to the greeter and ask if customer service is open to which she replies "no. Maybe after 7am". Maybe? Does CS not hold the same store hours as the rest of the joint? So I wander around the store dodging boxes and workers pushing stuff around. Why don't they do this before or after closing? My mom has ordered milk from the online delivery Wal Mart plus from this store location since the pandemic, and recently she's REPEATEDLY gotten expired milk and yogurt delivered. They delivered date mar 5 on the 11th today!!! 2 days in a row!!! She has called and gotten a refund repeatedly and has called the store to ask for the delivery manager Jackie to call her. No return call. It appears the store deliberately sends expired milk product to home delivery customers, often seniors or those who can't drive. Why does it keep happening even after complaints?! Presumably for profit. Also no one cares about packing your produce. Bananas and tomatoes come all bruised and busted open at the bottom of the bag. I have had nothing but wonderful service from this store. If I order it to be delivered or for a pick up they are always on time with my order. This has always been my favorite Walmart but today I had a horrible experience. It always seems to come down to customer service, doesn't it? I hadn't been here in a while and I just did my shopping- a very small haul actually- mostly of little items - and I went to the self checkout. I saw that in the inside of the self checkout area there were I think 2 registers that said 15 items or less. Some didn't have any signs. One had a word I didn't recognize- some technical looking name. There were a few empty registers & so I started walking toward one of the empty ones. I don't think it had a sign. MIND YOU: I DIDN'T SEE ANY SIGNS OUTSIDE OF THE SELF CHECKOUT AREA. If there were I didn't see them. Anyway as I'm walking over to one of the registers this blondish worker maybe in her late 50's with her long hair up in a kind of loose style literally steps in front of my cart. As if I'm trying to exit the store without paying or something. And she says loudly " fifteen items or less!" She doesn't say, oh I'm sorry ma'am you have too many items or sorry ma'am we have a new policy - she just barks at me in a bitchy way in front of all the other customers with a smirk on her face. If I had my wits about me I would've just grabbed the 5 items that were the bare necessities and left her to put the rest of the stuff back on the shelves. Honestly I was caught off guard which I think she enjoyed. And I could tell if I had said I wasn't aware that all the registers were 15 or less she would have continued to try to embarrass me. All I could muster was to be angry & said See you later as I turned to leave & I muttered under my breath what I thought of her. To which she responded to by LAUGHING AT ME WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER. So when I saw this I responded back with " and yes you are ". It's late in the day, I already called to complain & no one picked up the phone. I have no desire to go back to this store, none at all. I'm not a fan of the other Walmarts in the area but this person with the ugly personality really soured the whole store for me. Oh and the whole 15 items or less thing is just bad - so many of the cashiers are just slow with no sense of urgency, it's just a bad move in general. read more

I bring my mentally challenged adult son here to do his shopping late night in order to avoid peak hours/crowds since shopping with him is challenging enough (for reasons I won't go into). My goal is to get in and out as quickly as possible, which usually works since he's always got a list of 20 items or less - every store we go to, I rely on self-checkout. Tonight, we got to the self-checkout and instead of being greeted by kind, compassionate Walmart greeters, we were bombarded by 2 employees coming at us with "No more than 15 items!" ... could they possibly have supersonic eyesight to where they scanned every single item and knew for a fact we had more than 15? Well, turns out we had 19 items, so we took some items out so we could continue checking out at the self-checkout. The entire time, the employee is still looking at me with daggers (possibly because she was going to have to put the items back) as I'm asking her to just please allow us to get through this. I even motioned to her to please stop talking (trying to hint to her that I was dealing with other issues) and the only thing she could do was roll her eyes (def not an intuitive person). I understand self-checkout should be for limited items, but why can't it be WITHIN REASON during non-peak hours instead of exactly 15 items. There was no crowd and self-checkout had no line and there were only 2 checkstands with long lines available. GIven my son's condition, there's no way we could have waited in the line tonight. I don't think I've ever felt so harassed by employees at a grocery store, but tonight I certainly did. I suppose we will have to go back to the more expensive stores like Albertson's to get a little respect. read more
