I had forgotten that there was a Kohl's here in this plaza, so I Googled Kohl's locations in La Habra as I was going to be in area running errands and needed a Kohl's for an Amazon return. This Kohl's location is next to the now closed Amazon Fresh location on Imperial Hwy. There are plenty of parking spots near the front of the store, really convenient. As I stepped in, I did notice that the lights were darker than other Kohl's locations - maybe to save electricity or help "cool" the store down with the heat outside. The signs for Amazon returns was a bit unclear, but it is in the back lefthand side of the store, next to the restrooms and water fountain. I was able to return my item quickly, there were a few other customers before and after me. Overall, it was a smooth transaction and I was able to get in and out within a few minutes. read more

The Amazon counter during my recent visit was fourteen people deep; however, with two employees assigned to it, I waited in line for only five minutes. Service was EXCELLENT!! We arrived with 11 minutes left before closing, planning to quickly grab one item and leave. The doors were already locked, and employees refused to let any customers in even though the store was still technically open. I understand not wanting customers coming in at the last second, but 11 minutes before closing is more than reasonable for a quick purchase. Very disappointing experience. read more

Ok so I guess I never wrote a review for this location lol! I think this location has a lot to choose from they even have Sephora at this location too. They honestly didn't have a big selection at the Sephora a lot of stuff was gone. I really wanted to try and find my tinted moisturizer but they didn't have it :( it's ok the lady that helped me she was so sweet. I actually came here to return something I got on Amazon so went to this location and to see if I could find my tinted moisturizer here too but nope. It's ok though I really do like Kohl's they have such cute clothes for kids, for adults but I never find anything unless it's shoes or the pajama pants lol. They have cute household stuff and makeup. I mean this store has everything. The shoes are on sale now which is cool, the guy who took my return was friendly and smiled. I recommend this location its on Imperial Hwy and in a busy shopping area. The parking lot is big so plenty of parking. Thank you for having friendly service and lots to choose from. Came here and found more cute stuff although this time is was very hard to find pajamas for a 5T kid! I saw plenty of 4t and even 6T but couldn't find 5T! Aside from that, the cashier Andrew was really nice and had pleasant small talk. When I went at 1:30 on a Saturday they were a little busy and only had 2 people ringing folks up so a line was definitely forming. They also got rid of a lot of their dressing rooms so I had to go upstairs to find one that only had 2 stalls in it. There are usually deals and often times you can generate Kohls cash which is nice and definitely entices you to go back in at a later date. This location was still very clean and overall an enjoyable experience. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience at this Kohl's location today. My total purchase was $40.77, and I paid with $101, so my correct change should have been $60.23. The cashier only gave me $60.20 and told me that they are "not allowed to give $0.01 coins," so she decided to short me 3 cents without asking or explaining beforehand. This was done completely without my consent. This is not about the money. it's about customer service and basic respect. A cashier should never decide on their own to give incorrect change, regardless of the amount. If there is a store policy regarding coins, it should be clearly explained before completing the transaction, or the total should be rounded properly. I was very disappointed by how casually this was handled and how dismissive the interaction felt. I hope management addresses this issue, as this is not the level of service I expect from Kohl's. read more

Thank goodness Kohl's is an approved Amazon drop off. I assumed Amazon Fresh next door took all returns but they do not! It's not a mistake. Depending on the size of the return, you'll be directed to where to return your item. Head's up, the Amazon returns are at the back of the store! It's not a convenient drop off but it's what it is. From the front door, you'll need to head towards the back left side of the department store. You may need to wait for someone as they maybe elsewhere in the area. It took maybe 2-3 minutes before a woman appeared to come accept the return. read more

I've shopped here for athletic men's clothing a couple of times recently. Almost every piece of clothing I looked at (maybe 40-50) had the wrong size hanger. So for example, if a hanger said "L",!the tag on the clothing would be "S". Literally everything I looked at has the wrong hanger. It's extremely disorganized. I mentioned this to the cashier and she kind of chuckled in acknowledgment. So this is definitely a known issue. This location needs to get it together read more

When I used to live in La Habra, this was my go to clothing store. It is been quite awhile since my last visit. I noticed right away that they have renovated the store. The isles and stocks are all well organized. It is kinda impressive how tidy the store is. The merchandise on shelves are well aligned. Pricing seems alright. They keep doing the "discounted pricing" which can be confusing. I hope Kohls can stay afloat. All brick and mortal are under threat of Amazon and eCommerce competition. read more

I went to buy a jacket for my boyfriend and one for my nephew I have to try them on to see it it will fit them or not and I went around looking at the jackets and I had my daughter with me. I couldn't decide which one and I did take a while at the men's section but it was for their Christmas gifts I know there is a lot of theft going on but not everyone that shops is going to steal. I was so uncomfortable because I saw a guy looking at me and kind of being around and pretending to shop and look around like a normal person and I know how AP works I knew he was AP he made it so obvious and I know people who work as APs but still it made me feel like I was targeted because I took a long time and couldn't decide. You have cameras and can see if people take things or not. I prefer to shop at a place where I won't be followed and targeted. That's my last trip to this place. If a store wants to not have theft they need someone armed at the doors to stop thieves, not just aps. They were there before why aren't there any now? read more

The guy working at the Amazon returns inside this Kohl's on 02/14/23 was sick and coughing. He should have been sent home! He wasn't wearing a mask either. I obviously touched the paper he gave as a receipt with the Kohl's discount. Sanitizer failed to stop the transmission. Fast forward a couple days and I have the Flu! Who knows if he gave the Flu to anyone else that day... bad experience for sure! read more

I had ordered some things from this store, and the items were waiting at this location's customer service desk. This store is clean and the sales staff seemed pretty nice. The items were ready at store when we got there, and the person working in customer service was helpful. My order was in the bag, and I opened it when I got to my car. The first item looked new when I took it out of the bag, but the second item had holes and stains. It was totally gross. I'm surprised they would have sold something that looked that worn. The sales associate returned my item and looked horrified by the sweater's stains and holes. My return was easy, but the store needs to be more careful when packaging items. I was disappointed and really felt like I wasted a trip here. This store was clean and nice, but it wasn't worth the drive for the used item. Kenny was the customer service rep helping me out today and he is the reason for the 5/5 stars! He was fantastic! I had tons of coupons therefore I needed to split up my transaction in 4 different ways and then on top of that, I didn't have my Kohls card so he had to look up my card using my ID and social security number for every one of my transactions. And yet, throughout EVERY single one of my 4 transactions, he had a huge smile on his face. He was patient and KIND and I am just so happy to shower him with these compliments because he deserves them all! I come here at least once a month because I am THAT girl who returns her impulse Amazon purchases lol Yes, the 25% coupon they give you has A LOT of exclusions. No, Kohl's can't decide if they want the Amazon cashier on the left or right side of the entrance doors. It always switches back and forth depending on the displays and that drives me insane. We love getting Kohl's bucks. Major perk is that Kohl's partners with credit cards like Chase so you can earn some cash back for shopping. Only downside is when you paid with the wrong credit card that doesn't give you cash back for shopping at Kohl's and they are willing to process a return to use the better credit card but now you can't reuse the coupon. Fail Fail Fail!!! Saw these lovely accent pillows that would match my decor! At check out your rude associate after scanning the pillows placed the first pillow on the floor next to her feet! I immediately said that I was concerned the first pillow was on the floor. Her answer was " it's okay" !! What!!! Then she scanned the next pillow and dropped it on the floor! At that point I was furious!!! I was livid! I couldn't believe what I was hearing the say associate saying that it was okay to place these two pillows on the floor. Pillows that I had no idea how to launder them!! I thought I couldn't stick them in the washing machine! I then cancelled the sale and walked away!! When my daughter confronted the supervisor the next day, the supervisor knew about what had happened. Supervisor said it was normal to set merchandise on the floor!! What?? Macys, JC Pennys, Nordstrom, Target , Walmart do not place such items on floors after ringing them up!! Neither does Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, Marshall's, Ross, TJ Maxx, and so on!!! These accent pillows were going on my sofas immediately after I got home! I wasn't the least bit confident using them on my clean sofas!!!!! Fail Fail Fail!!! Kept us from driving to other stores. Life saver!!! Then for Halloween we needed a specific jacket for my daughter & I called & Isaiah was so helpful & happy to do his job, he found it in stock & Gilbert located it in the store & put it on Hold for my husband. I didn't always consider wanting to like Kohl s, but now a days I come here and I actually see things that i like and actually want to buy!! It is amazing to me. Ok so I had to do a final project for school and that meant that we had to do a presentation and I needed to look professional. Since I've never had a job before and had no experience in the work force, I don't have any clothes like that !! All I had were girlie dresses and cute floral prints. Not going to fly with my teacher. He has been saying we need to dress up like a professional. Oak's I went to Kohl's. This one off Imperial to be exact. I liked it a lot and everything was laid out where I first found some Vera Wang blouse which cost $48.00. Then I went to find a black knee length skirt which was on sale for $38.00. OK Both aren't that bad prices in my mind and I do want to strive to look decent and professional. After that I went to go look for where the shoes were at. I found a pair of heels black, which was about $29.99 that was on sale too. So overall I got two items that were on sale and one that was full price. I was finally set and ready for my big day. All I needed to do now was go and wait in line...The line wasn't that bad but it looked bad at first with three people ahead of me. But that soon came and went and I was actually out of the door !!! This kohls is beautiful inside. Bright and open, great layout, very shoppable, with returns and customer service near the entrance. I was greeted by store associates a couple times as I shopped. I came here after a horrible experience at the Fullerton location. The young woman at la habra who helped me with my return was pleasant and knew what she was doing, unlike the three associates at Fullerton who were so rude and blew me off before I could even get words out of my mouth. The associate who processed my purchase was equally pleasant. I'll drive a few extra miles to bypass Fullerton and shop here. Kudos to your store manager. read more

This is primarily about there return/amazon drop off area. There are arrows on the floor separating the two and yet they only pull from one line (and the workers don't let you know). I was standing the the Amazon line and the worker (Amberly, who was right in front of me) completely ignored me and took the guest who was in the return line, didn't let me know that there is only one line or anything. I actually got her when it was my turn and then she couldn't even work the scanner. Worst service and very confusing. Can't comment on the rest of the store read more

My mom passed away this past Wednesday night, July 12, 2023. My mom's name was "Nana" (pronounced 'Nay-na", it was a Norwegian name). I had been given one of the Jimmy Fallon plush toys "Nana" panda bears a few weeks ago. And had been to two Kohl's stores already searching for more. I wanted to get several to give to my close friends because my mom, Nana, loved teddy bears. So it was very symbolic. I was not successful at the two other Kohl's stores, so when I found one at this Kohl's store, I started searching through the neatly arranged plush toys for more. But there weren't any more bears. A salesclerk obviously noticed me, and asked if I was looking for more of the "Nana" panda bears. I told her yes and the reason why. She told me that she had a couple more bags full of them in the back! I started to cry! She asked me to wait, and soon after she returned with a huge plastic bag full of the pandas! I grabbed nine of them. I asked her name, it is Diana. She was so kind, went above and beyond, showed compassion towards my sadness and tears... she was what every person needs to be. Her name is Diana, and I instantly thought she is like Princess Diana... kind and compassionate. Please let Diana know that I will never forget the kindness she showed me. read more

I'm not a huge Kohl's shopper. I know a number of people who swear by it, but it seems like whenever I come most of the stuff looks kind of cheesy and I never find anything I like. So I usually steer clear until the holiday decorations go on sale after Christmas. Anyway, on Thanksgiving my aunt brought over a stack of matching holiday shirts from Kohl's for all the ladies. Now while I pretty much outgrew holiday-themed shirts after junior high, these were actually cute, with a few rhinestone martini glasses on them. The only problem was that mine was an XL and I never bother with anything over a medium. Time to make the trek to Kohl's for an exchange. Upon arriving, I did a cursory search through the women's section, assuming the holiday attire would be displayed prominently near the aisles. No dice. Not wanting to waste any more time than necessary, I went directly to the customer service desk, hoping that someone would know where to find the shirts. "Hi, I wanted to exchange this shirt for a smaller size, do you know if you have any?" "Sorry, I don't know." Awkward pause while I waited for her to continue. "Um, do you know where they would be? I couldn't find them." "I don't know. Check where you got it last time." This is her solution? So much for customer service. "Uh, it was a gift. I guess I'll go look again..." Luckily I found the right shelf in the back of the women's section (which seems like an odd place to display holiday clothing since it was pretty hidden), but I was still a tad annoyed. In my professional experience, I was always taught that if a customer/client asked a question you didn't know the answer to, you found the answer or referred them to someone who did. Replying "I don't know" without attempting further assistance doesn't cut it. Would it be too much to ask one of the other employees in the room if they could shed some light on the situation? Oh, and "look where you got it last time"? Do you think I would be back here asking for assistance if I knew where to look? I got back in line with another size, and quietly snorted to myself when I noticed the huge "Let us help" sign over the doorway. But to my pleasant surprise, this transaction reinstated my faith in retail humankind. This girl was very efficient and friendly, asked if I had a receipt and didn't care when I didn't, and finished the exchange without any further ado. I won't completely condemn Kohl's for my disappointing experience with the first employee, since all employees are different. But it would've been nice if they all had the same high standards for customer service as the second one did. read more

Remember Mervyn's? Well Kohl's is pretty much a bigger, more modern version that offers a lot more stuff than I thought they did. I don't come here often, or ever at all, but I had to get something from here today and I was pleasantly surprised when I looked around. They have a LOT of clothes... cute ones too. My favorite collections are the LC by Lauren Conrad, Rock & Republic, ELLE, and Gloria Vanderbilt. My mom loves Gloria Vanderbilt jeans and apparently you can only find them here at Kohl's (occasionally at Costco, too). The LC by Lauren Conrad collection got me good today. I ended up getting a cute sweater on sale for $32.99. Still a bit expensive for what it is, the quality and the fact that it's from Kohl's but oh well. What's cool about Kohl's is their digital price signs. They aren't your traditional paper prices like you'd find just about everywhere else. These digital price signs make it easy for Kohl's to update sale items so you know you're getting the lowest price possible for that day. Not to mention, Kohl's is constantly sending coupons through email (if you signed up) and through mail. The coupons, I hear, are really good because they offer big discounts year-round. This place also carries tons of perfumes, like Taylor Swift, at a lower price than mall department stores. I went in today looking for a specific item but I couldn't find the right size. I asked a worker there to help me and she called someone who I assume handles all stock checks for the women's section to help me out. She was SO incredibly helpful and helped me find exactly what I needed. She was very nice and patient with me, not to mention the fact that she was willing to help me too, unlike other lazy workers elsewhere. What I did notice here is that they have a lot of workers standing around doing nothing. I was at the store for a good 45 minutes near the register... On one occasion I saw that one blond girl was standing at her register, though there was no line, but she was at least greeting customers, which was good. There were two other girls, however, hiding behind the same display of pants refolding items that were folded just fine, just so they could talk to each other. Their manager immediately called them out to work their registers when a line of three people formed. But I mean, they should already know to watch out for a growing line. Also, as I paid for my items, the cashiers were manning their stations (for once) but they were talking to each other across their counters. There were four of them, three girls and a guy. They were talking about their work hours, vacations, other customers and cracking jokes about work. I thought it was inappropriate since there were customers around. I also thought they should've found something productive to do or AT LEAST PRETEND they were doing something productive. Overall, Kohl's is an okay place to shop. The prices aren't as low as I expected and the quality isn't superb, n't at least they have quite a selection to choose from. I was able to find what I needed, but not without having to hear the banter and chit chat of the workers. read more

I was so dissappointed with the service I got when I called the customer service for some help. I was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to speak to a supervisor. The lead was rude and said I was wasting my time trying to get a supervisor on the line. After she put me hold for over 10 minutes the call dropped. As Kohl's go, this is the nicest one I've ever been to. I was so pleasantly surprised! It's much cleaner than usual. Kohl's fitting room stalls are notoriously full of messy piles of tried-on clothes, but not this Kohl's. I found that the clothes on the racks were well organized and easy to find, a shocker considering the Ross-like mixed-up mishmash of the Santa Ana store. You will still have to wander through the hideous layout because the women's clothing is spread all over with no clearly defined sections that help you find what area you are in. Except for jeans. Casual, work wear, older and younger styles, and what I am assuming passes for trendy/fashionable is sprinkled and mixed everywhere-- but at least at this Kohl's, everything on that particular rack is organized and the same. I am still not completely crazy about the style factor of much of the clothing styles offered- as a little girl near me announced to her mom: "These all look like old lady clothes!" but for basics like jeans, slacks for work, tees, or sweaters, I'll shop here. Their v-neck t-shirts are the best! I do think the "low prices" aspect of Kohl's is quite silly. Sure they always have sales going on. But the sale price is really not any cheaper than you would find at another store. Don't buy just because it's on sale. Shop aroun and compare prices if you really want to save! Unfortunately, customer service still is lacking. I overheard an employee arguing with a customer at customer services. I stood waiting at the POS for a cashier for a few minutes. She was there, and she saw me, but the items she was tagging were more important I guess?! Lol? She pretended not to see me until I looked at a passing employee, hoping she would come ring me up. The employee quickly told the lady at the register there was someone waiting. "Oh! Are you ready?" the cashier lady said, with a fake smile that barely hid her irritation. Why do you think I was standing here at the register, I wanted to say. Pretty typical of my Kohl's experiences. Customer service and training for employees has been cut back so much in this country... it's a shame. read more

A very clean and organized location. Plenty of parking available. The Clearance sections are filled with fabulous bargains. We're able to get brand names at very low prices. After my wife's 30% off coupon, we paid a total of $99.02. A savings of $285.73!! Plenty of gifts for everyone! Only complaint would be that they do not have enough carts available. I saw about 3 of their stroller carts and a couple of other carts. For a store this big, they should have a lot more. The bags that they provide for the shopping can get very heavy. Some people probably stop shopping when their shopping bag becomes too heavy. Of course, if that keeps my wife from spending any more money, then I have no problem with that either. My favorite Kohl's location, hands down. Everything is super organized and clean, including the clearance racks and shoe department. I took my boys here for back to school shopping, expecting complete chaos all around me. I gotta say, Kohl's has back to school shopping down to a science. For the most part, all of their stores are well staffed, well stocked, and very clean. The only exception is Downey :( Anyhow, this location is the best in the area.
