Kind of like Argonaut or Apple Jacks if you know those local stores. Lots of parking all around even when the stores get busy. Just make sure you go the posted speed limit. The only store that I do remember there was a Target store. It was so old it was best called a Targhetto store. Very small, about the same amount of merchandise as compared to the other Targets only you were reminded where you were and it totally sucked! A couple of weeks ago I was in this area and most if not all of Lakeside Center looked like it was getting torn down. Goodbye to an eyesore! I also witnessed another customer being turned away when trying to make a FedEx return because it supposedly "didn't fit on their shelf." That was also disappointing to see. When I stepped outside the store to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, an individual named Justin approached me and introduced himself as the manager on duty. He immediately stated that the cashier who assisted me was the kindest and most polite employee in the store. He also referenced the existence of video footage. I asked whether he had personally reviewed the video, as his comments appeared to reflect a preconceived bias similar to that displayed by others involved. He acknowledged that he had not viewed the footage. I informed him that I intended to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, as this was not the first time I had felt humiliated at this location. While in my car, I contacted Customer Service and was treated professionally and respectfully; the representative demonstrated a high level of understanding regarding my experience. Unfortunately, this incident marks the third time I have felt disrespected and humiliated at this specific store. On a prior occasion, I spoke with the store manager, Mr. Matthew, whose response I found to be dismissive and arrogant. I clearly stated at that time that I would no longer shop at this location, but unfortunately, I did not respect my decision and my boundaries. It was like having a personal shopper with me, knowing exactly where things were in that giant selection of beautiful clothes. I purchased much more than I expected to and will return soon for another 'spree'. Sofia was so courteous and helpful and I hope I have the pleasure of working with her again when I return.
