I wanted to share my experience in the auto shop with my oil change. Pat greeted me and explained their process which is more efficient than the other Walmart location I used previously. I asked if they had the Mobile 1 and Pat went into their stockpile to pull a new box for use. While outside, I noticed Melvin pulling a different oil and I asked if it was for my vehicle to which he answered yes. But here is where Melvin shined. I mentioned the oil I wanted, he said "no problem" and went to work. Melvin washed his hands after draining the oil and starting up my car. He updated my oil preference in my records, something the other Walmart location I had been using simply failed to do. Melvin turned off the oil change warning light in my car. Ensured there was no oil where it shouldn't be and was pleasant and helpful throughout the entire experience. Lori, took good care of ringing me up when the job was done and was super helpful. It was the most pleasant and thorough oil change I ever had in a Walmart auto shop. Thanks Pat, Melvin. and Lori! Such a nice change from the Kemah location which didn't use the oil I asked and paid for. Lied about it. Got oil all inside my car. And when mentioned, the manager was incapable of admitting fault, lied about fixing it, and was rude and unpleasant seemingly having no clue about professionalism. Don't go to Kemah for an oil change. Mine is not the only horror story. Go to the 646 location where they actually care about doing a good job. read more

At 5:06 today on March 18 2026, at the self checkout on the grocery side, the brown haired girl associate checked all our bags and made us stop scanning and didn't give us a reason as to why, when my mom asked her multiple times. To top it off we were/still are in a rush and now we're late. If an associate is gonna check our stuff there better be a reason. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone again in the future. read more

Tire replacement- 2 tires on front of SUV. Waited 2-1/2 hours just to get car into bay, Tire replacement took forever. The guy ahead of me was getting 4 tires changed, and after 90-minutes they'd only changed 2 of them, still had 2 more to do. They are ridiculously SLOW. Save your frustration. If it were in Jerusalem, it'd be the Wailing Wallmart. But hey. It's not. Came to buy some sheep. They didn't have any (even though we live in a nation literally full of sheep literally). False advertising, then. Should have gone to Woolmart instead. This is a useful Walmart which comes to you complete with all the trimmings, such as the Pharmacy and Garden Center and what not. It's located right off the freeway (North East Side) in the League City-Webster-Clear Lake area, and gets pretty busy, but not as shockingly busy as some of the Houston locations closer to town. We've used it three times now and there will definitely be more visits. There's a hair salon in here too, although it might be gone now, I'm not sure. This is one of the worst Walmarts in Galveston county. Today while on my lunch I grabbed a few items and when coming out an aisle two employees cut me off from exiting the aisle. While I walked behind them one named Amber turned to the other lady and said she hit my heel. I hearing her turned back and said who are you talking too? She told me you hit me foot, I would know if I accidentally ran something over said you have me mistaken. She said it was you and I walked away upset that an employee was being confrontational. How unprofessional of her and what a shame this Walmart is going down hill!! read more

Holy moly. We ordered a delivery from this location. The 2 most expensive items were not delivered. We called the store to report this. A store manager named Phillip said there was nothing he could do (everything is delivered by 3rd party, don't you see). He told us we had to call the national Walmart number. As I prepare to leave Galveston, for Htown (Baby Apple; please people) I 've become reacquainted with the commercial entities on the mainland. might I say that this Walmart has more of a selection of Wrangler, and Lee Jeans than the Galveston Walmart (bought five pair). The store is cleaner, less chaotic, and generally friendlier. Now, I understand that Galveston has to deal with the beach tourists that treat Galveston in general like a convenience store bathroom, so I'll give it a mulligan. But, I was impressed by the assortment of products and available number as opposed to Galveston's. Galveston could use one of those exclusively grocery Walmarts, but it isn't going to happen. Get another catastrophic hurricane (and its getting near time) and you'd be hard pressed for any corporations to come there, let alone a secondary store. read more

Walmart at 45/FM646 is a total disaster at the pick up lanes. Cars are 30 deep, once you reach a lane, no one is answering the phone so you can tell them which lane your in and name for your pick up. Called the main store number to speak with the manager. The operator said they are working to get ordered out but no one answers the phone. I asked how do you know who is in a lane and what to bring out for who if you can even answer the phone. She hung up on me. Last time I will spend a dime at any Walmart. HEB here I come. Milton, the greeter , needs to be brought back to reality. He is an elderly gentlemen with a bad attitude and no authority to act the way he did towards me. I go in, pay for my items and head out to leave. I'm in a hurry and leave my register without my receipt. I wait in the "check receipt line" two people deep as he checks every single person for proof of purchase. When it's my turn, I realize I don't have my receipt... Milton is not happy to hear this and starts sifting through my bags. I had icing , sprite and paper plates ...No electronics or big ticket items. Long story short- This man immediately treats me as if I have stolen something simply because I did not have my receipt. He tells me " Go back and find it or I'm calling my supervisor". I told him I'm not going back so he gets his superior to come over. She had to ask the employee who helped me during checkout if she remembered me paying. He had absolutely no suspicion of theft. Just treated me as so simply because I didn't have the receipt. I could have easily said no and kept walking but I was trying so hard to be patient. I didn't want the hassle or confrontation but I also did nothing wrong. I'm not the first person to lose my receipt. Milton, however, attempted to exert his dominance over me and give me an ultimatum. Next time I'll just walk right pass him and refuse. read more

Walmart La Marque location. I would advise to NEVER use this Walmart grocery delivery service. I currently have 4 pending transactions at my bank from grocery orders that were NEVER delivered. My bank says Walmart has to release the pending funds, yet they are telling me that my bank has to refund. That makes no sense!!! The first one dates back to Nov.5, 2021.... well over a month ago!!! I'm out over $100 and Walmart (store, online reps, etc) haven't done 1 things to release funds. Use this service at your own risk!!!!! read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I am not sure if this is an Electrify America issue, a Wal-Mart issue or what I think is both. So, I will start here. There are only 3 stations at this Electrify America station and one out of the three is normally down. This leaves 2 stations for this area near League City. If the other 2 are working it just takes patience and the car charging goes pretty fast. Oh... only if that was the issue. So Wal-Mart for all that don't know now has 100% electric delivery trucks. Yay for them! Except that the 100% electric delivery trucks need to be charged. Now I know that you are thinking, Wal-Mart must have their own electric charging stations for their trucks to be charged, right?! No! They do not have their own charging system. They use the Electrify America station! Now, why is this a problem? Well the trucks charge slow for at least 1hour or more during prime charging time. When they finish they drive back to the station, unplug and just leave their electric vehicle at the station and block it from being used. So I guess the Electrify America station is just for Wal-Mart employees and not Electrify America patrons? Wal-Mart you may want to look at the optics you are conveying here. Great job on going electric, but bad job on sharing the public stations with the public. read more

Based on my personal experience, I give them 2-stars. It's probably a little bias due to the fact that I really dislike Wal-Mart. I RARELY shop here just cause I can't stand the store and clientele. Even when I was leaving today, two League City police officers were showing up for something. The crime rate in League City is pretty good but this is the one place where you hear of regular problems. I hate the crowds at Wal-Mart. I hate the rudeness of the customers. People will flat run over you with their carts. It's ridiculous. Therefore, I typically don't shop here. Today was a rare rare exception for me to step foot into this store. read more

Went to this place for an oil change drove about 20 minutes got there at 5:40 I sat in my truck for an additional 20 minutes in line You can see the employees cursing at each other and just looking up at my truck no one was coming out I go inside and I ask to see who can do my oil change they tell me they close at seven by that time it was 6 o'clock they still had an hour to go and they refused to do any work oil change does not take long that's why I took my business there never again!!!! read more

This Walmart often operates with only one open register forcing customers to self checkout hundreds of dollars worth of groceries. Walmart is always clean and well stocked. There is a very good variety of merchandise and grocery items. Since all Walmarts are pretty much alike you can easily locate the department you need by looking up and reading the hanging department signs. I rarely see staff on the floor like at HEB but I really like the convenience of their locations and the price. Good job! WALMART*****! read more

Got in line at 6:45 a.m. to have my oil change, wipers change, tires rotated, and check to see whether or not I needed two new tires. The gentleman named Melvin was very courteous polite helpful and encouraging. I told him I was taking a 3000 plus mile trip and wanted to ensure everything was in working order so I had no breakdowns. So I got the super package of checking every fluid. Once I received my vehicle back they did not rotate the tires, they did not tell me whether or not I needed a new tire when I asked and got back in line to have them recheck my tires, they said my wiper blades were good and two days ago I saw the rubber fly off my passenger wipers and when I questioned the gentleman Al about it because Al is who worked on my vehicle he went oops let me get you one and I said never mind I'm going to O'Reilly's where they are competence. At this point I looked up at the sticker and I use full synthetic oil the sticker on my windshield says to change the oil in 2000 miles. My last sticker told me to change it in 4,000 miles. There's no consistency or competency in what else doing I do not know whether his head is somewhere else or he really just doesn't care my biggest concern however at this point is did he even change my oil??! I'm so disappointed with this visit sadly I will not return they lost a customer I would definitely use caution especially if you're a senior citizen because I think he looked at me and thought she doesn't know any better. Ok so we all hate Walmart so I will skip over that. We all still go there though because they offer a wide variety of products at low prices. Of the 2 Walmarts by me this is the best one. This is clean, well lit, plenty of cashiers(including self checkout), and friendly staff. There is a big McDonalds inside also. Overall this is as good as a Walmart gets. There is a lot less of the "People of Walmart" here. So if you have to go to Walmart at least support this one for being clean and less cringe worthy than most. read more

Manager was VERY rude (I don't know her name as she wasn't wearing a name badge). She outright refused a refund and basically treated me like a nuisance from the moment she laid eyes on me. Oh, and I say "y'all" as part of my vocabulary and she tried pulling the race card on me. Talking about "what do you mean by 'y'all'"? We're in the south, don't pull that garbage with me. The employees at this store are the laziest, rudest people ever. Went to the service desk and I could not finish asking my question when I said sale all she could say was go to electronics. I was like go to electronics for a grill, again, could not finish my question and she barked go to electronics that is where the sales are. So I go to electronics and asked if they had any black stones left and this girl said I don't see any so now. I asked if she could look up and see if they showed any in stock because their website showed them and she said no. I'm like really? How can you not look an item up. She walked away. Tried asking someone back in the garden area but there was no one around. My mother and I are Walmart frequenters (but, I mean, welcome to be on the lowest end of middle class). We normally don't come to this one, because the La Marque Walmart (which is always very cooperative) is closer to us, but we were out and about eating and happened to be closer to it at the time. Now, we'd just gotten paid and had a rather full basket, and since it was late, I ran into self checkout while my mother checked out with some cigarettes in another line. That's when the bad things started. I, personally, was first victimized by a customer who 1. Claimed that I was insane for going through self checkout with that much in a basket 2. Wasn't old enough to be my mother despite looking my mother's age, if not older Not only did the cashier working self checkout completely ignore this, she insisted on laughing about and also claiming that I was incorrect about going through self checkout even though I knew it would be quicker anyway. Apparently that didn't matter though, because another cashier nearby insisted that we had too many items (despite there being zero limits for self checkout) and forcefully took my basket to another register where she had a co worker very slowly ring up our items. During this process the she managed to ring up a 23 dollar bag of dog food up twice, running our bill from 70 something to 90 something, and then deliberately closed the register as my mother asked for two 5s and a 10 for a 20 dollar bill. When asked about this, she claimed she couldn't open the register again. We got out to the parking lot and found out that the dog food had been charged twice, and went back inside to rectify the situation. The cashier who had rung up my moms cigarettes insisted that, even though Walmart is open 24 hours, customer service had no way of being contacted until the next morning, which is kind of stupid. Thank GOD the man standing in front of her was kind enough to contact someone who could help us out. From then on, the slow cashier that had rung up our mish-mosh of groceries and such insisted that she hadn't rung the dog food up twice even though the receipt very clearly stated it twice, and refused to believe her coworker when she told her that she had. Oh, and did I mention they tried to accuse the rest of our party of stealing through self checkout even though when it didn't work, they repeatedly asked for help? FINALLY the situation was dealt with, but, let's put it this way: this place is more expensive than La Marque, the cashiers I've dealt with are utter jerks and don't know what customer service is, some of the customers are absolute jerks (just a general complaint, I know they can't really do anything), and I've never wanted to cry during a shopping trip.
