I always find what I need here. The setup is great. Sometimes I'm greeted when I enter by the person next to the carts depending on who it is. Just make eye contact and smile and they usually honor it with a hello. The self check out was quick too. No line when I got here around 2:45 on a Friday. The parking lot was getting packed even though it didn't seem busy inside. And when I say packed, I just mean I parked rows further than usual. I only grabbed a few things, but they do a pretty good job of sticking items and organizing the shelves. read more

I'm giving this store excellent marks because of its location, cleanliness, and the vast array of products that they have to offer. I'm here visiting from DC, and the locations over there fall way short when compared to this store. The first item that I picked-up was a zip-up sweat shirt. Since its already mid April at the time that I'm writing this, I didn't think that I needed a sweater or any kind of jacket in Louisville. These past few days have proved me wrong, with constant rain and cold temperatures. The sweat shirt that I purchased is less than $20, and its perfect for the short time that I will be in the city. I also purchased some grocerynitems for the extended stay where I'm at. These included milk, orange juice, bananas, and bread. I purchased as mucha as I could carry with my two hands, because my place is only a block away. They even offer plastic bags that are free! They did not have my cookies. Well, not my cookies per se, but around the holidays I look forward to the white fudge-covered Oreos that come out every year. They haven't been in stock at the Wal-Mart I've frequented, but that's not surprising since that particular Wal-Mart is out of stock on things often. I expected better from this Wal-Mart. THE LASHES CASE. JUST GO TO TAGET. The case is full of lashes. Wanna know why? They don't open it for anyone at anytime apparently. Every time I go to get lashes (which is often) they have a button that says "push button for assistance and we'll be happy to help" I push it and nobody ever comes. I'm usually a pretty patient person... but not 15 minutes patient. This isn't some doctors office. I ALWAYS END UP GOING TO TARGET. Lashes are expensive but at this point I'd rather spend my money on lashes else where than to wait to get them like I have been. I went to the woman at the self check out and she said "let me go get the ma that has the keys" then comes back and says "he's too busy at the customer service. He said he'll be over when he's done." I peak over and they're slammed. Maybe put somebody else in charge of the case or trust your employees with the keys. So annoying. read more

Walmart Grocery: I just used the Walmart Grocery app to do my shopping and it's awesome! I always find myself at the store trying to remember if I have something or need something then end up buying it, just to find out I have it at home. This prevents all that. Also prevents going up and down and aisle looking for that one thing you need. Saves so much time in your day. I did not try any produce but may give it shot next order. Overall loving it! read more

This review is for the associate (young man) working in the Entertainment section last night (Saturday July 14, 2018). He went above and beyond to help us get what we were looking for. I was looking for a 12' HDMI cable but didn't want to spend for a Monster cable, didn't like the cheap gold look of the intermediate cable, and they didn't have any of the cheap and simple ones on the shelf. To my wife's chagrin, I asked the associate if there might be some somewhere else in the store. He walked with us over to see what I was talking about and apologized because he didn't think there were any more. We understood, held on to the more expensive but fugly gold tipped cable and started making our way to the front of the store. Several minutes later, as we approached the self checkout the same associate interrupted us and handed me the cable we were looking for. He had found it in the back (presumably in the store room), and rushed all the way to the front of the store to hand it to us. Anyway, his level of dedication surprised me enough I felt compelled to leave a review. read more

This WalMart supercenter has some of the friendliest associates around. They are very helpful and always manage to put a smile on your face. The staff at the Optical center is super nice and friendly and always do a great job answering any questions you have. They have grocery pickup and their grocery is fresh and always stocked. If an item is running low, an associate from the back always replenishes the items as quickly as possible. Their self checkout process is great and efficient. They have over 8 kiosks for people to check out at. They could open up more lanes, but I understand that flow of traffic can vary from time to time at the store. The associates who greet you when you enter and leave the store are first class people and there is one associate who always says, "I am blessed because I woke up today!" That attitude goes a long way and that positivity is contagious and can really help anyone who is having a bad day to smile again. Great job Walmart. Keep up the good work and always having great products at reasonably affordable prices. read more

I found this store to be very clean, well stocked and the employees I had contact with were very helpful and friendly. I took my granddaughters here to shop for clothes. The ladies in the girls dept. were most helpful in finding the right sizes and showing us where things were located. The changing rooms were also well managed. We were able to find everything we needed to dress for the summer. read more

I come to this Walmart often, considering it's less than 1 mile away. For the most part, it's like all other Walmarts. It has the same stuff and is moderately organized and clean. What I very much dislike about this Walmart are the long lines anytime past 5 pm. Every now and then I will need to grab something quick, like milk or toothpaste, and end up waiting in a line for 20 minutes because they only have 1 register open. What is even more frustrating is when I see other employees just walking around not seeming to do anything. If you are needing something at this Walmart, go early or expect some lines. I was excited to live near a Walmart again. However the service at this one is the worst I have seen in a Walmart/any grocery store. I went yesterday (Wednesday) at 1pm, and they were completely out of carts. I shopped around for 30 minutes, and ended up with an armful of groceries. I checked back to see if there were any carts - there were none. Instead there was one worker standing guard for he empty cart section, saying "we are out of carts (clearly!) and the workers who do this will be off break soon" ... multiple other people came over as well, and the man told them the same thing (rather than actually getting carts...). It seemed every worker was unhappy with their job, many were complaining aloud about the work environment,etc.. A couple of the items I bought had been on sale, and none of them rang up correctly. This is truly a chaotic and unorganized store. read more

I ran into this location of Walmart Supercenter while I was in the area for other errands. I was specifically looking for goggles, and I didn't have any trouble finding what I was looking for. They had a summer/swimming section close to the entrance, and I was able to get into and out of the store quickly. I didn't really experience the entire store, or much of the service staff. I was in and out pretty quickly, and I opted to self-checkout. From my experience though, this Walmart Supercenter location seemed comparable to others I have visited. If you're in the area and need a quick shopping trip, this seems like a fine place to go. read more

My wife's personal Doctor called a prescription into here while she was battling a summer cold. I guess the antibiotic she needed is cheaper here than other places. Lots of traffic and they were busy so parking was a search endeavor. Once inside the pharmacy was quick to check her out and she is much better. Kinda out of the way from us but close to her Doctor. As of this writing, this store has been remodeled with the chains most recent specs including a more open floor plan, wider aisles, and a softer color pallet. This Walmart has a security alarm on the side that goes off constantly. It is surrounded by neighborhoods and can't be heard throughout the day and night constantly. I don't know what the point of a security alarm is that goes off constantly if no one is attending to who or what is setting it off. But this is a serious detriment to the quality of life of everyone who lives near it. I talked to one of the shift leaders, and they said they would talk to the manager, but judging by his attitude I doubt that he actually reported it. That was about two weeks ago. read more

Needed a few items so I ran to this Walmart. I couldn't find the canned fruit/ applesauce isle. Read all the isle labels still couldn't find it. So I stopped to ask one male employee stocking the floor at 5 pm on Friday. He said, "No English". Wait. What!! He didn't speak English? Are you kidding me? Ok. So I don't want to spend forever here. I moved on to the next 2 women employees stocking shelves. They just moved to the grocery side. They don't know where anything is. Are you kidding me? I just need some maraschino cherries!! So I find a little blonde girl stocking pharmacy items who I ask, "Can you point me to someone who speaks English and knows where things are in the grocery section? She points me to my savior. This lady now gets a fully irritated woman asking where the canned fruit isle is because no one else in the whole store knows. She takes me there and then informs me that it's right next to the break room so every employee KNOWS WHERE IT IS. Obviously, customer service is NOT a priority here. First, if someone can't speak English he definitely shouldn't be on the floor at the busiest time of day if he can't communicate with customers. How in the world did this guy get through the interview process? I would think speaking the language should be a job requirement. read more

Did an online order to pickup in store. I checked in about 5 minutes before I got to the store using the app. I've been waited at the pickup counter for 30 minutes. I called the number for the person on call and pressed the call for assistance button several times to no avail. I asked other team members for help and was told they do not work in pickup. One person finally paged management. An assistant manager begrudgingly came to help me and asked me why I didn't get someone from the grocery section. She informed me 8 people were working pickup, but we're stocking the grocery aisles. Like thanks a lot for that information. I would have happily gotten one of them if I knew. I just wanted to pickup floss, but apparently a pickup counter is too much to handle for Wal-Mart employees. Like what the fuck do you actually do?? Am I upset, yes. Will i continue shopping at Wal-Mart, yes. Do I realize that is an exceedingly difficult and frustrating job, yes. But I'm still pissed off that there was no concern for another person. I'm pissed off that I couldn't return my purchase in the app. It would have been faster to return, go to the oral hygiene aisle, and buy my floss. Rant over. Mistakenly placed an online order through Wal-Mart for one of my kids Christmas gifts. They sent me a broken hover board that my kid was unable to ride that was the wrong color. I went to this Wal-Mart to return at customer service as instructed by a manager I spoke to by phone. I was greeted by employees who all seemed to be MISERABLE, COMPLETELY LACKING THE CONCEPT OF "CUSTOMER SERVICE", AND STRUGGLING TO PERFORM THEIR BASIC DUTIES OF THEIR JOBS WITH AN IDGAF ATTITUDE! I felt like they were prejudice against white people in their overall demeanor towards me in comparison to the people around me. Eventually wrote it off in my mind as a perfect example of people in our diminishing society with very low IQ who have horrible work ethic and an unrealistic perspective on life based on a since of unearned entitlement and the fact they can barely wipe their own ass! After 20 excruciating minutes of trying to lead the horses to water I requested another manager who fixed THEIR MISTAKES in less than 5 minutes!! Avoid Wal-Marts if you can. Pay the extra 2 dollars at Target and keep your dignity. read more

FUCK THE HANDICAPPED! Is this Wal-Marts policy? The following issue is with many Wal-Marts and not just this location but this location was JUST as guilty. Wal-Mart in their infinite stupidity once decided to get rid of door greeters but ultimately brought them back. However, they forgot that they need radios to communicate with other staff and they also forgot to tell them what their job functions are. I am tired of coming in to a Wal-Mart in need of an Electric cart only to find that NO ONE has bothered to plug one in. I am tired of walking into the store on one side and not having a cart available and the staff telling me there is nothing they can do to help and if I want, I can WALK all the way to the other side and see if there is one there. MAYBE there is, MAYBE there isn't. They have no way to find out and in some cases no Desire to find out. They simply will not assist you. This location was super guilty whereas I had to walk to the other side ONLY to find there was no cart there either and then I had to go outside to retrieve one from the parking lot my self. It's bad enough that I have to ring myself out half the time, now I have to do yet someone else's job? What next, Stock the Shelves?
