Target is Target is Target…read more For the most part Target is copy/paste no matter where you go. That being said, of the 3 that we visit regularly, this has got to be the busiest. Granted, it's in an enormous retail megalopolis so foot traffic is going to make that happen. On a recent Saturday we were in the area doing some other shopping and Target was our destination. To be honest, after having been to 5 or 6 other retail outlets Jim was about wiped out. Into Target we went anyway. My sole complaint about this location is the parking/entry situation. The store is basically on the corner and right by the entrance from the street into what I'm suddenly going to call the Parking Village, so it can be a challenge for both the driver and for pedestrians. Keep your eyes open, people, and stay off your phone when you're driving in this area. For being inside the Christmas shopping season (Let's face it, it starts November 1 any more) the store, while busy, wasn't crowded. After stops at a few departments for some Targeted (see what I did there?) items (Brand New ABBA CD? Yes, please, and thank you!) we decided to browse a bit. I was glad that Christmas wasn't out in full force. It had a presence, but we weren't in full-hype Christmas mode. Thanks for not rushing it. Most of the shelves were well stocked and there was no clutter of pallets in any of the aisles (like some other retail establishments.) Paper products could have been replenished but for the most part things were in great shape. This is one of the few retail places I've been to recently where I didn't have to send out a search party for someone to give me assistance locating something. I looked around a corner and there was a young lady there who knew exactly where the self-sealing stem bolts were located. I'm still on the fence about the updated snack bar/Starbucks arrangement in some Target locations. I mean, it's cool and much more self-sufficient, but at the same time I was pretty used to the way things used to be. But we move forward, not backward. Thanks for tuning in. They haven't been in stock at the Wal-Mart I've frequented, but that's not surprising since that particular Wal-Mart is out of stock on things often. I expected better from this Wal-Mart. It includes all the favorites like Barnes and Noble, Banana Republic, Build-A-Bear, Chinco's, etc. It also has a number of restaurants and eatiers like Five Guys Burgers, Crumbl Cookies, Martini Italian Bistro and Mitchell's Fish Market. So, if you're looking for a NICE, CLEAN shopping destination with a slightly upscale assortment of the major retailers - this is the place.

For my guys the jeans, tees and hoodies are popular. We've gotten a few dressier shirts with fun designs but I don't think they've held up as well. I find luck with tees and tanks, sometimes an occasional top that's more business casual. It's hard for me to find jeans or pants there. My size and petite options are rare to find. There's always a sale or clearance items to catch. Old Navy finds will last you a season or two, but are priced fairly for that.

Target is Target is Target.  They're pretty much reliable and consistent everywhere you go.  This…read moreparticular location recently got the CVS add-on, which brought a much better selection of Health and Beauty Aids on board.  Their grocery section is surprisingly good, but feels a bit on the small side compared to other retail locations that have adopted grocery offerings. Two of the things that stand out for me at this location: 1)  The newly renovated Starbucks.  I like that the recent renovation that took out the old, staid Target snack bar to make it more of a grab-and-go kind of situation with a few tables, and the Starbucks is the star of that show. #AboutFreakingTime B) The service desk isn't as chaotic as some other Target service desks.  I like the fact that there are individual kiosks instead of a long-ass counter. Shopping at this location is pretty easy and, for the most part, things are the same as in most other locations.   If I'm looking for fabricated half-inch pipe I know where to look because I know where the fabricated half-inch pipe is located in a different store.  (Will someone PLEASE get that movie reference?) The staff is usually attentive and helpful here.  I'm the most impressed when I visit electronics.  I was recently looking for a new sound bar and had a few questions about options on some of the models.  I spoke to two different team members and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful.
