I think they need to be investigated on their deliveries. We've been shorted items many times and have to fight for a refund. Lately they don't refund. Especially if it's wine. I think they steal it. I'd put zero stars if available. read more

this Walmart should be investigated by the consumer protection agency. The grocery delivery service is nothing short of fraud. We ordered groceries and only got half of them 28 hours after ordering and then was told you'll get the rest when the truck comes in. they will not answer any other telephone lines. This place needs to be closed down to protect the consumer. read more

So, I called the location before I came in. I wanted to have a tire that I had purchased there, mounted on a new rim. I get there, and the same associate said they couldn't do it because they are too busy??? Check back tomorrow with the manager? There was not one car in the bay??? This is a mildly large Walmart Supercenter between Midlothian and Richmond City. It's just off the state highway and overall was alright. It seemed well-organized, not particularly dirty or clean, with items in-stock. It has a combined Subway/Auntie Anne's in-store. In short, nothing really positive or negative stood out about this location. The main benefit probably is that it's relatively centrally located in the Southwestern Richmond area and seemed very well staffed in terms of number of personnel working. read more

This place creeps me out. I will now drive the extra time to go to the new one out by Woodlake instead. This location must contribute a lot of the pictures you see on the internet. I just feel uneasy with the people that shop at this location. I have been accosted for money twice in the last year. Do not expect to get any help in the area that you need at this location. You have to literally look for someone to help you and normally the person that you find has no idea about the area you're asking about which is crazy. Each time I go to this Walmart to purchase some type of kitchen appliance they never have it. I am so serious so my thing is if you don't have it why continue to keep the display of the item up? Ok it may come back in then why not place a Out of Stock sign on the display that way the customer knows not to even worry about looking for the product or finding a sales person in a while other department that is clueless about what's going on. The folks at the auto center are great! Nobody is ever happy to get any work done on their car, so if you approach these guys with kindness, they'll send it right back. I learned that my (used) car was sold to me with the wrong tire size! The ladies told me my tire options (the best and better choices) and told me instead of waiting up to 4 hours just to come back first thing in the morning. Most other shops would have just told you to suffer and wait until they are ready for you. My tire and oil change took exactly as long as I was told it would. Very thorough service which is what I expect when it comes to my vehicle. read more

Walmart in general stinks. They advertise that Walmart will make arrangements to help those who are unable to wear masks. HA! YEAH RIGHT! I tried to do the right thing and order something so that I could do the curb side pick up. Well apparently you have to have a $35 minimum to do the curbside pick up. I didn't need $35 worth of stuff. When I called they said that they could not do anything about it. OK I'm not allowed in your store with out a mask and try to do the right thing and yet you claim that you will work with your customers but yet no one tried to figure out anything to help me. Oh but I went to Target and they did everything they could to help me and that they did. I had to pay more but they figured out things so that I could get what I needed. I didn't mind paying the extra because they took the time and don't discriminate like Walmart does. read more

Terrible customer service! Unorganized and dirty. Had to wait 30 mins for a manager to fix the self check out we were using so we could complete the order. Would rather drive 15 mins out of the way and go to a different walmart than come back here. read more

The one lady that usually works at the self checkout is horrible. I made a mistake, and after she fixed it she inspected my receipt and kept taking everything out of my bags and asking me how much everything was. Make sure you don't make any mistakes while she's working, because she'll hold you there for 10 minutes quizzing you on every item you got. This Walmart definitely went downhill. This Wal-Mart is awful, customer service products and all - the only thing that is good about this is the older gentleman that greets at the door, I very VERY rarely come here but when I do if he is there he's always so friendly which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. This is the worst experience I have ever had with trying to get glasses. The customer service sucks!!!! If I have to pay twice as much for my glasses next time I will just so I don't have to go to Walmart vision center again. Been waiting 18 days to get what I paid good money for and still don't have. I'm in this local Walmart at least three to four times a week and over the past several years the experience hasn't changed from disgust with store clerk's that are frowning and seldom greet you and appear arrogant. Implication being, managers are often as disinterested in a complaint as the staff are down-right near rude to customers. There has been a slight change with the last group of hire's the past few months - they at least say thank you at checkout. The clerks that I'd give a hands up to for being responsive and helpful are the Electronics staff and photo shop. That's it. I don't like making such a critical review because I really appreciate where I spend my hard earned cash. Still, this store need a serious hard nosed manager to motivate the worker's there. read more

My husband had to quit Walmart today because his store manager (Betsy) won't give him is hard earned PTO. My husband asked two months in advance for the 22-26 of Nov off. They just now turned him down for it. That was highly expected since it was thanksgiving week. So he asked if he could use his PTO (payed time off) and the store manager said he couldn't and there was nothing she could do about it. So I looked up Walmart policy just to see if there was anything I could do and to my surprise this is walmarts new policy as of March 6th 2016 "PTO- no waiting! PTO is available to use as soon as it is earned" so I called corporate to see if I was missing anything and they told me that the Walmart was not following policy by not letting my husband have his PTO. They directed me to a nice man named Dennis which we thought could over rule the Walmart. Turns out the Store manager who told us she couldn't do anything about it was THE ONLY ONE who approves and denies PTO. So me and my husband went this morning to talk to her about her not following policy and she would only talk to my husband with another manager by her side still saying how she's not going to approve his PTO despite the policy. She would not come out to talk to me so I had an employee call her out to talk to me. She brought two other managers with her and I shook her hand and introduced myself. The first thing I asked is why she wasn't following policy and she said that she is and I quoted the new policy and everything she lied to my husband about and she put her hand near my face telling me she did not have to talk to me because I'm not an employee and I told her that I went through corporate and Dennis saying that she was not following policy and she still did not care and I explained to her that corporate was above her and she still didn't seem to understand she was in the wrong. So she told me she did not have to have a conversation with me and immaturely walked away. Leaving my husband to have to quit because he would of been fired for not being there on those days. Called HR and they told me that there are "block off weeks" that no one could get off and I told them to show me that in their policy and they could not say anything. I said if it's not in writing In your policy then it's not true. I said where in your policy does it say, no waiting unless it's a blocked off week .... she couldn't say anything. So I told her kindly if she would tell them to add it to their policy if that's what their policy really states. The store manager at Walmart 2808 is childish and immature for not thinking I was worth having a conversation with to fix this. Sorry for all the people who go through this fighting with companies to actually follow their policy. We will have a great time in CT for thanksgiving. If you haven't been to this Walmart lately, you've got to go. The store has had a complete makeover-inside and out. If is out of stock, I'll bet it's there next time you visit. And if you need help with anything, it's there for the asking. If the store has left a bad taste in your mouth in the past, just give it a second chance. I give a shoutout to Kenneth, cart pusher/customer service-he goes above and beyond. And Nikki, Asst. Mgr. was always able to take care of my issues no matter how grumpy I was. We had our daughters new tires mounted and balanced at the Chattanooga Plaza. We got home to find out 4 loose lug nuts and all 4 tires had not even been balanced. I would not recommend paying them to endanger your life or someone else's. read more
