This place has some of the worst customer service I've seen. I called a couple minutes ago and the first time I called, the phone rang for a little more then 3 min. I heard someone pick up the phone and then hang it up. I called a 2nd time and just to test and see if anyone would pick up, the phone rang for 4 and a half min straight before I gave up and hung up. Prior to that experience, I went to pick up a fishing license. I pushed the button, asked an associate for help and waited 27 min to get customer service. Then I had to get bicycle tires and it was worse, a 31 minute wait just to have someone open the glass case so I can get bike tubes. That was after I told an associate I needed help and was told she couldn't open the glass case because she didn't have a key. That same associate got a bit of a lecture later on and was told by a manager "why didn't you call me on the radio?" This was after I asked for assistance 4 times and after I asked for a manager. The one thing I hate from this place is the bad smelling air outside when you park your car and walk inside. I'm not use to the bad smelling air, I'm from SJ, to where Andy is use to it..oh and in the summer they have these tiny flying bugs which stick all over the car. Andy tells me they like black cars. This Walmart is the biggest we've been at. But it's also "Ghetto". Apparently, it appears this store has a huge problem with loss prevention so almost everything is locked up. Like a reviewer said here, you have to press a button for help with certain things. We pushed the button a couple of times to get some medication items, but had to wait 5 minutes for someone to arrived. I eventually flagged down the pharmacist and they helped us so that was good. But still get the overall image that this Walmart thinks everyone is not honest if they have to lock up everything. Store did seem clean and organized, though. Could be easy to get lost. DON'T BE FOOLED! THIS WALMART IS STILL OPEN!! My boyfriend and I came here to buy some stuff and we noticed the place was blocked off. We were going to leave, but we saw some signs saying that they're still open while they are under construction. Currently, this Walmart is being renovated so all entrance are blocked off. But don't worry, there are signs that leads you to the front entrance. (Front entrance smells like rats) The place is much bigger than before. Apparently, they demolished mickey D. Don't know if they're adding that back, but the place is really unorganized. But what's good is, lines are short and more items are in stock in this store. Walmart already has a pretty low bar of expectations, but this location is something else. I looked up the product I wanted on the Walmart app, which showed it as being in stock in 3 separate aisles. I drove out of my way to this location, and spent an hour walking the store to discover the product didn't exist in any of the locations the app mentioned. It wasn't just out of stock - there were no stickers for it. None of the employees could help me since the majority of them didn't speak English, and the rest just vaguely directed me to different associates across the store. Some told me they flat out "never sold" the product, some said they were out of stock, and some sent me on a rabbit chase to various unrelated aisles. Ultimately wasted an hour of my life looking for a product that doesn't exist. read more

Went to Walmart Tues 10/16/07 to see if they could fix a flat tire. If they could have it would have been $9.50, but they cancelled my job order because the thread was to low. I wasted an hr to find that out, they didn't have time to call me on the loudspeaker..bogus. Then he suggested I replace all my tires..well, they didn't have a set of 4 tires. That's whack so I left. Had a quick dinner at the McDonald's in the store during the hour I was there. A regular hamburger is .89c on the menu and .96c w/ tax. Worst costumer service ever!!! I went to this store to replace an empty sodastream bottle for a new one, and this service is available at this Walmart location according to their website. I had to ask many people about this in the store but none was able to help me. I had to wait a long time in costumer service line and the person just told me I could find the bottle in the kitchen department. Once i got the new bottles, when I went to the cashier, she didn't know what the thing was about, she called another person, she also didn't know anything about it. When I explained to her the situation and showed that the service is available as it's said in the website, she just told me to go to the costumer service again to try to solve it, but as far as she knows, they don't do that service there. They made me waste a lot of time without anybody willing to really help me with this. Since I got there just to do this, and since the website was showing that THIS EXCHANGE IS DONE THERE for the half of the price if you have the empty bottles to exchange it, they should have done some effort to solve this for me. You know, Walmart has a good thing going on for its customers. Cheap clothing, cheap food,cheap home essentials, and electronic knick knacks but for the Pete's sakes why is customer service so bad? I'm pretty good and grabbing the things I need and quickly making my way through the check-out register but that all comes to an end when the lock lotion and face items behind the glass door. It's not even about stuff being locked up. It's the fact that I can almost NEVER get someone to open the glass to give me what I need. I would walk up to an employee and they just give me the death stare. After a couple seconds, they say, "I don't have the key. Ask someone else." Like wtf?! Lol I usually avoid going to Walmart since I love Target, but I have to say I enjoyed my trip to this Walmart location. I found this Walmart to be super clean and organized. Staff was friendly too. Compared to other Walmart stores, it's usually crowded, busy, dirty, unorganized, and tbh just scary. Lol. But parking was easy and of course it's typical to have random people soliciting when I enter and exit (that's one thing all Walmart have in common). However once I got inside the store I was impressed with how organized everything is, but of course there's like a security camera in certain aisle, which I find creepy, but I understand they are trying to stop people from stealing items, eh. Anyway, I ended walking through the entire store and found what I needed. I was surprised there wasn't long checkout lanes, but I used the self-checkout lane and it was short and quick (of course, there's another camera installed directly in your face as you checkout, hahah). Overall, I would come back to this Walmart if I was in the area. I'm quite impressed with this location even though it's a 2 star location, but I'll give it 4 stars :) read more

No one was cleaning carts and everything was disorganized. I saw the cart attendants just grabbing carts to refill the cart station without sanitizing anything. It seemed like there was absolutely no protocol to keep anyone protected other than the requirement that people had to wear masks. There should have been a limit to how many people could come in because it was so crowded, you could barely be 6 ft apart, and this was in all departments. I had to ask people to give me some space which was nerve wracking. It was also really hot in the store. No one was enforcing anything and I felt really gross and sick after maybe 30 minutes inside. Can't expect much from a super bargain center. Inventory was stocked for the most part but it's the holidays.. Aisles were organized... the best they can. I have to say that it's the kind of customers Walmart attract- they go through products/aisles and throw them back in mayhem.. can't really blame the store for the customer's poor sense of everything. Seriously- household products are much cheaper here. I have to admit that I am not a fan of shopping. I just can't stand it. Well then why am I writing a review for Walmart. I am glad, you asked. This specific walmart is open 24/7 so I don't feel rushed to get in by certain time & this makes shopping somewhat bearable. I can shop after day long of activities thanks to this Walmart. Recently, I realized that it is open 24/7 and we went in around 10pm and got our shopping done. Parking was easy. Fewer people were at the store. And it was easy to find all the items. Staff was super friendly. I asked so many staffers about location of different items and each one of them stopped their work, helped me out with a smile on their face. Now, thats a skill!! They are interrupted but are happy to take that interruption in and help the customer in need. Needless to say because of their great customer service, I will plan to shop at this location of Walmart's. If you are going for shopping at the night time, just keep one thing in mind; they will be busy restocking the items so floors will be filled with boxes of items. But thats about it. Customers are given enough space to move around with their carts so it shouldn't be an issue. Have fun shopping! read more

This Wal-Mart is definitely cleaner than any other I've been to in recent times and it's refreshing to have a location that's not over saturated with homeless people or consistently on alert with thefts, but it's still Wal-Mart at the end of the day. Their clearance section has it's good days, but if you keep an eye out you can find some really good deals in comparison with places like Target or Amazon. read more

They have a McDonalds here. All the customers are ghetto including me. They always have someone asking for money in front on their store which is so annoying! Can't they get rid of them? They don't always have everything I want or need but their low prices make up for it. I like shopping here for makeup or home goods. Although the one on Story Road has the Drew Barrymore makeup line, the rest of their makeup shelves are pretty emptied. This location their makeup is fully stocked so that is one advantage this store has---makeup! I bought my TV and printer here. I miss the Miley Cyrus clothing line. Walmart clothes are pretty nice and affordable. Walmart and Target prices are pretty similar if not the same. Target is just cleaner that's all... Lastly they don't have fresh groceries here either. Yeah the one on Story Road does. Go to that one if you wanna shop and look around. Come to this one if you need something specific and know what you want. They are thieves! I ordered $140 worth of food and 25 items are missing all of my frozen food and fresh refrigerated food. Was told that it was going to be delivered again today and of course it's not here & when you call the 800 number they don't know what the last person says so they all just keep saying the same lies over and over again. Not to mention you can hardly even understand the people because they're in another country. I will never order from this lowlife place again. I was trusting Walmart to bring our family food because we are sick. I even caught the delivery driver and asked her where all of our stuff was and she said that was all they gave her. This Hellmart has THEEEEE worst customer service on the planet. I mean you dont expect much because, hey its Hellmart but come on. As we speak I have been waiting over 30 minutes trying to pick up and order , that by the way they messed up by substituting items completely different from what I ordered but I cant even get them to bring out the order so I can return it. When you place orders they substitute things that arent even close to what you ordered. Its hard to get people to open cases when you are shopping. I see rotten fruit and vegetables in the produce sometimes. They are always out of basic things and the store is just all around chaos. This use to be such a nice Store years ago, It had completely gone down hill. I would give zero star if I could. I had tried to get my tires changed in Walmart, but found out it was waste of my time for days. I had tried to contact the "so-called" customer care team, but all I got was just a response that I would get feedback in a few business day. I suppose that was a joke or just some kind of automated E-mail. Below is my story I had been to Walmart Milpitas, CA (Store #2119) for consecutive three days and tried to get my tires changed. The first day, I went there to learn the total cost out of door and the second day I went back to ask for an installation at 08/04/2021 10:38:28, I was told the tires I wanted were not available and asked me to come back to check again later in the day. So, I drove back to star #2119 during the lunch time, without a surprise, another 10 minutes of wait after the time card shown over the register (there is a card indicating when the person would be back at 12:35PM). The man, who I would not call a gentleman, came back from lunch and was upset for 5~6 people waits there already. Since I was the first one waiting there, he asked me what I wanted around 08/05 12:55PM. I told him I would like to get a set of new tires and get them changed. He just told me there is no more tire service today, which was understandable for me, and I told him I could wait until tomorrow, but would like to buy the tires first. the man asked me if I know the specs of tires I wanted. So, I told him I wanted 215 60R/16 95V Assurance Outlast tire is the one I want. He then told me that the tires are available and told me to come back and check again next week instead. I told him that I came yesterday and it was him to tell me to come back and check after yesterday evening. Thus, I came back. So, he asked me to provide him the estimate sheet to prove I had talked to him. I told him that I left the sheet at the car, but even if I bring it back to him, what good does that do to me or if that would change the fact the tires could be installed. Then, he started to tell me that he doesn't understand any bit of what I was talking and ignore my existences..... Sorry about all the long messages, my points are 1. If there is a fixed date of when tire stocks could be coming in, perhaps the store manager could provide a better estimate for people to keep coming back for nothing. 2. If the store supervisor cannot do a good job telling the customer when the stock would be coming in, perhaps, the current available stock could be improved over website so that the customer does not need to rely on the store manager for false information. 3. I don't know why that store manager was quite upset for keeping us wait while we did not get upset at him on the contrary. Called this morning 3 times for customer service, with no answer!! I lost my keys in the parking lot here last week - I called and it took 15 minutes for them to take my name and number and description of the keys. So today I am 7th in line at customer service with only 1 person working! It's a Wed at noon, where are the employees?! Yay - the one person just walked away to find someone to "override" something. I'm still 6th in line, 8 people total so far and 10 min later. One more person opened up! Let's see how long it will take now! Can I say snails pace? After the 2nd person, the line moved quicker! And, I found my keys amidst a number of wallets, phones and miscellaneous stuff! Lesson: If you leave something at Walmart, go in. Yikes! Last weekend I decided to grocery shop at Wal-Mart Milpitas....and oh-my-goodness I have to share what I came across. Yelp...eggs not only are they sitting on the floor they are not even in the cooler...and the icing on the cake...while I was taking this picture five different employees walked by, looked at me and kept walking...not one stop to pick up the eggs. I'm reviewing the EVgo stations out here and adding a word of advice to people that may charge the cars here. There are a groups of kids soliciting candy or donations in the parking lot. I declined their offer with "no thanks" and walked in to Walmart but noticed a kid standing by the charging station. 2 mins into Walmart shopping and I got a notification that my charging session had stopped. I went outside and sure enough saw the kids hanging around. I started my charge again and decided to stick around waiting for the charge to finish. Another kid came up to me and asked if I wanted candy and I someone already asked me and he started walking away and said "oh you're the one who said to get a real job" I said what but he paid no attention and walked away. I sat in my car waiting for the charge and the kid came back thinking of stopping my charge again. I took a picture right before he noticed me in the car and tried to jump behind the charger. I got out and confronted him saying he should quit messing around and causing an inconvenience and didn't appreciate him stopping my car from charging. Right away he said it wasn't him but the other kid who I had said no thanks to. I took his picture as well. This may sound like a rant but just trying to give fair warning to people who might be affected by this nuisances. This location is absolutely horrible. I waited at the liquor cabinet for 20 minutes with no help. I spoke to FIVE employees & each one said "you have to push the button". I explained that I had been waiting for some time & had pushed the button. Not one staff member offered to further assist me. Not one member even tried to remedy the situation. I understand that the liquor is locked up for anti theft purposes, however, this is ridiculous. Either give every employee a key. Train your staff better. I was looking for an item that I could not find and I had asked an employee if I can receive assistance and she had just walked right by me as if I was not important.
