Writing this review as I am here desperately waiting for them to put on my new tires. Arrived at 2 pm. It took them only ten mins to take my order to replace all four of my tires. Then I spent my next four hours here just waiting. The thing that is ridiculous is that, they don't even have people working in the shop for the last two hours. The manager kept telling me that "the guy" is out for lunch. It's now closed to 6 pm and the guy just got back. Insane! read more

Out of all of the Walmarts in the San Jose area, this one is by far the best. Some are super ghetto and I've had multiple experiences with RUDE AND GHETTO staff at other ones. I was recently dealing with a return issue that turned out to be so much more frustrating than needed (was a large item that no store wanted to deal with, I guess) and the Milpitas store was the only store to be kind and help me out. They treated me like a valued customer, and were the only ones to do so. read more

Walmarts are stuffy and crowded as they are, but this one in particular has long lines and almost no one to ask for help. I went around the huge store ten times only to learn that they did not have the item, after I was told they had it over the phone. I have been to Walmart Supercenters in various cities (San Jose, Mountain View, Pheonix (AZ), Austin (TX), Charlotte (NC)). This is by far the worst it can get. I have been around this area for 8 years now and visit this Walmart only if all other places/options are ruled out. There is something about this center that sucks the energy out of you right after you walk in: Is it the store layout (things are always in disarray), is the perpetual construction (for over a year now), is it the staff (very low energy and dull looking); Its hard to say. If you know exactly what it is that you want then, get it and get out and that should be fine. Otherwise, be prepared to leave the store depressed. The staff don't even know or care to serve you best. My experience with Auto Care for just an oil change cost me $91. I have VW and needed a Full Synthetic oil. But was slapped with that bill, partly due to my own mistake. But this, I'll shoulder partial responsibility. It does only one thing best: Serve stuff at very inexpensive prices. read more

Bathrooms are 3rd world! Pls clean your bathrooms - the company makes lots of money. Hire more checkers. We aren't going to pay to scan and bag our own grocery...unless you want to give discount for every item we scan. Finally, (with no disrespect) why does it seem that all the workers are from Philippines? I know Milpitas used to be a large Phil community, but today it has many types of people. If we can setup negative in review, I will put negative five stars (-5) for this Walmart branch. The customer service was terrible bad and I plan to mail the evident for stealing money conspiracy from customer service to FBI. I filed a complaint to DA office this August because they lost my car key after changing a battery and the store manager's attitude was very bad to me when I tried to negotiate the compensation. My experience at this Walmart has not been very pleasant. The employees should at least know where things are located... I've been transferred from one employee to another in order to find one item. At checkout, Pacita was not very friendly and didn't seem like she enjoyed her job very much, which made me feel a little awkward. Maybe it's just not my day. -_- read more

I ordered 4 tires from walmart.com and selected this store for installation because it's closer to my home. But it is a big mistake. The guy took my work told me it's' going to take 2 hours. 2 and half hours later, I came back to the counter to check, he told me I need to wait another 2 and half hours. no long after he said that, the technician started to work on my car. So he walked to the technician and said something. Then the tech stopped working on my car and got another car into the garage and started to work on that car. I did have to wait for another 3 hours before I got my car back. It is a huge waste of time. Costco can do it much better. A delayed work can be forgiven. In general I don't like Walmart but thanksgiving day I happened to be close to this place so decide to checkout their deals. Well they changed rules and decided to bring all shoppers inside of store before 6:00 PM itself. Well as expected everyone was inside and trying to get their stuff and trying to find out where to make line for billing. Was going into to purchase 2 laptops - waited 11 minutes to speak to someone, waited another 9 minutes for them to get back to me, spent 15 minutes waiting for him to get one laptop and to tell me they do not have anymore for the second. I was told by another employee they have some locked in a cage, but only 1 manager has a store key. So, I waited another 10 minutes for this manager. This is where it went from bad to worse. I went to purchase the laptops and I swiped my card, the transaction went through and he asked to see my card. It was my joint account with my wife which had her first name and my / our last name, so there was a problem and he had to call the manager. Which is fine, I understand. I explained the situation to the manager (very young) and stated that I will use another card or the debit from that accounts card if it is a problem. He then told me, "your wife needs to come pick up the card.." I drove from Campbell to come to this store because I was told they have these laptops in stock and explained my wife is not coming down to get our property at 9pm. He continued to refuse to give me my card and made little comments like "It is not your card, it is a card" probably just to aggravate me more. I continued to alert the store manager or section manager that it is my last name on the card and by common property it is as much mine as it is hers, he then called loss prevention.. It was sad that the way I had to get my card back is to trick them into getting the card close to me (pretending I was pointing something out) and take it back. The highlight of the evening was me walking out while he trailed me screaming "he has me on camera.." I ended up finding the same laptops for the same price at office depot on Stevens Creek with exceptional customer service and I used the same card at this establishment and was told it would not be a problem. It's a nice store don't get me wrong but the lack of customer service and associates is so sad. I stood at the register in electronics for about a half hour and they called for a manager 3 times for a price match and no one came. Then they tell me to go up to the front at register 8 and when they look at what I was trying to price match they said it wasn't enough details when it's coming off of their website. I did however end up getting my price match but it was a lot harder than it should have been. read more

This is probably the worst Wal-mart I have ever been to and I have been to many. There is no love here. Not by the workers and not by the consumers. It is organized very poorly and everyone has a chip on their shoulder. Even the pharmacy is bad. And the place is NOT open 24 hours...WTF. With that said, I still go and get toilet paper and gym socks there, so I can't rate it 1 star. It is cheap and some-time you get what you pay for. Let me start with this. I am not a huge fan of walmart. They never have fast checkout at their counters and change their store layout too often and that's very confusing to me. At this particular store, I couldn't find any nail paint section and the sunscreen/haircare section is not clear. their products are all over the place in a particular section. The location has been remodeled for a little while now. The location still looks renewed - let's hope they continue to keep up the daily maintenance. The store is quite busy and better stocked than in the past. This is a big plus as this is certainly what I consider to be a one-stop shop. Another improvement that is should be seriously considered is better lighting in the parking lot at night. The employees, however, need a tad more training. They are still not customer focused, not worse than before, but continuing to need training. Maintaining with three stars as all the basics are almost there for a national retail chain, but improvements need to be made. read more

I can't really understand, but every walmart I visit, with the exception of the one in Murrieta, is a shithole. Even that one was going sour before I moved up north. Stores are all messy. The employees don't give a crap and are nowhere to be found. The shoppers have rude manners. Parent's don't care about their kids acting like brats. Not impressed. The workers you meet in the store are unfriendly and the same with the cashiers. I went there on Friday to get my front tires changed. My tire pressure light was on Monday so I went back asking what happened. After inspection the technician there told me my pressure sensors on the tire has low battery and I need to get it replaced. So he referred me to Toyota dealership. I went to the dealer and they told me my sensor has a crack and it's on the tire where I had them change for me. The technician ensured me that sensor doesn't crack itself, usually it's damaged by force. He believed the technician from Walmart damaged my sensor when changing the tires. I spent $400 on the sensor replacement, I went back to Walmart and talked to the manager named Kian. He is literally the rudest person I have ever seen in customer service!!! He said he doesn't trust dealer and insisted I should come to Walmart first before going the dealer. I told him I came to Walmart first before I went to dealer and his technician advised me to go there. He asked me which technician, I told him the guy that advices me to go to dealer. Then he said " well, the technician is not manager. Too bad, you didn't ask me before you go so I have nothing to do with it." I showed him the damaged sensor which has a crack on it. He said first of all, dealer gave you this. That doesn't mean anything because you couldn't prove the sensor is from your car. Then he said my sensor has a crack because sensor usually expire within 5 years of purchase ( I think this is a lie because my car only have 60000 miles ) and here comes the most ridiculous part... he said I had the crack because my tire blew out. HOWEVER, the cracked sensor is from the passenger side, my tire blew out on the driver side. He denied he or his technician is responsible for any of this because I had the dealer inspect my car. They didn't see the problem with their eyes. Don't come to Walmart unless u want to spend extra to fix parts they damaged!!! read more

I've gone to this Walmart since I've been a young kid! So naturally, I love this Walmart. It has a clear organization and friendly associates. Sometimes it can be a little less messy, but I realize with such a large department store it's hard to keep it perfect. Overall, good job. read more

Recent site-to-store purchase of some clothes and stuff for the munchkin. FWIW, their previous pickup location at the front of the store was tented off due to some sort of fire, I heard. Anyways, the pickup point is in the back corner Auto Center. Fine. So I go after work to get the stuff and there is a group of 5 people waiting. No line setup to differentiate Auto Center customers vs site-to-store pickup customers. So I wait 5 minutes for a service rep to get back and say I'm there to pickup. Service rep tells me that it will be 15 minutes because the storage location is at the other end of the store and she's the only one doing it. Rather than take more receipts (3 more people in line) to get more items at once, she ups and leaves to get my stuff. That seems efficient. 10 more people show up for...auto? Pickup? Don't know. She comes back 20 minutes later with my half my stuff. Uh...then she says she's leaving, her day is done, and another staff member will help me. A very patient guy arrives and starts taking receipts for more pickups, apologizes for the wait, and calls the radio for help. Why didn't the previous lady do that? He keeps apologizing to each customer and says he'll go as fast as he can. 5 stars to him. I get all my items 1 hr after my receipt was provided. Felt bad for the line that was 15 people deep at that point, knowing that they were all there to pick items up (Auto Center had closed.) read more

Worst service ever. I called in to check stock of mobil 1 0w-40 and the lady says she has ten in stock. I ask her if she can hold eight for me. She agrees to hold them for one hour. I called back to confirm that she had them before I left. She confirmed. I drive there and there are only five on the shelf and she did not save any for me. Now this is a 40 minute drive so what a waste of time. When I confronted her about it she denied everything. Whats the point? Waste of time. read more

From the millions of gnats that fly around and swarm your car when it's parked on a hot summer's day to the incredibly crowded aisles and long checkout lines, this walmart is a true gem. It's also conveniently located next to the Milpitas dump. It's the only walmart that's near me so I'm forced to go here sometimes but I avoid it as much as possible. The only thing that's worth going here for is the low prices especially for school supplies but I'd rather go to Target for a cleaner and more pleasant experience. read more

The worst customer service! Just went to buy medicince. Keep pressing the button because it's in a lock box but nobody is coming. So I talk to the attendant working in the area she was grumpy and told me to go to customer service which is way far from where I am at and then I went to the customer service but the customer service told me they dont have the key, the lady working there talked to the manager and the manager seems to have no care and pretended to be asking about the key and then told us that somebody would be coming to help us there so we went back there and waiting for quite some time but the manager just disappeared and nobody help us! read more

These guys have great prices on tires but their service is abysmal. Reception is rude and incompetent - they could not look up my account even though I stated my phone number clearly, then when she did find it using my name it was under that same phone number! She told me to put my damaged tire somewhere but was incoherent as to where. One of the workers said "follow me" but did not offer to carry the tire, so I got my street clothes dirty. Finally, they said they could not replace the damaged tire because they felt they could not install a weight on the rim. I zipped down to America's Tire and they put on a new tire and balanced it in 15 minutes -- by putting a weight on the rim. Go to Walmart if you want a good price but you'll need to be patient. read more

I got here bright and early at 7:00a when the auto center opens. I came in for a flat repair and they estimated 20-30 minutes wait time. I was their first customer, yet, 25 minutes after my arrival another customer comes in, gets helped before me, got FOUR tires installed, and is out the door before me. Over an hour later I'm still waiting for ONE tire repair. I should have been helped first for I was here first. Irritated. My brand new tires were less than two months old and I still had to pay out of pocket when I purchased previously the road hazard warranty which I wasn't pissed about that for it could be apart of their policy but common, first come first serve! read more

This is my favorite Walmart and we used to shop this store often. But not anymore. The bad is thing that they close their customer services at early hours. It is not convenient for customers whose try to return merchandise when they go back to shop. They should have this customer services department open as long the store open for business. read more

The automotive guys are decent and nice people. Of course I am not satisfied that I waited three hours for tire installation. I made an appointment for 4 o'clock. I came in 3:30. They were working on the 3:00 appointment and my car went into the garage around 5:45 and the work was finished 6:45. This review is just for the pharmacy located in Walmart, as for the rest of the items Walmart sells it's inexpensive and you get what you pay for. I had to rush my dog to her vet with a really swollen paw it was our second visit in two weeks, the first time we went they took an xray and since nothing was broken thought she just had a bad sprain. I wont go into any details, but her paw looked so bad I knew I needed to go back to the vet immediately. The vet determined that she had an infected paw and had to lance it, yech!, and rx'ed a broad spectrum antibiotic. I always purchase my dogs meds from a pharmacy because prices tend to be much less than my vet charges, and they are really accommodating about writing out a Rx for her. I was in for such a shock when I started to call local pharmacies to get a price on my dogs Rx, the rates were as follows... 1.) Rite Aid = $200+ 2.) Longs = $200 3.) Walgreens = $196 4.) Walmart = $7 That's right folks nearly a $200 dollar mark up at those other pharmacies. I don't care if the parking is horrendous or if some of the employees here are rude, I know where I will be going when I need to have a Rx filled. read more

The employees here usually won't know where merchandise is that you may inquire about unless you're specifically talking to someone in the jewelry, phone, or photo center who never leave their station. Most employees don't seem willing to to help you out. I really only go when I have to get something quick for cheap but I try not to go here because it can be super unorganized! They have freight everywhere so many times they'll have a whole aisle blocked off. The lines can be super long, especially on weekends. I've also learned of walmart's possible road in becoming a potential monopoly so I think I may stick to Target for my usual shopping experiences. I may save another dollar on an item here but it's not worth the frustration. read more

A lot of people don't like Walmart because they say it's messy, but I go here to buy basic stuff such as makeup, personal hygiene products, hair care products, cards, household products, office supplies, etc. Items are cheaper here than Target. Things I wouldn't buy are food items. I've had bad experience buying food items, such as chocolate, candies, and cookies so I prefer not to buy them here. I could tell they were old. I come here when I need basic household items for dirt cheap prices. Sometimes Target is a better option though. I live pretty much in the middle, so it's the same distance to both locations I guess. Whenever I come here, earlier in the day, I like to park in the back, where the garden center is because there is more close parking. It's ridiculous to try to find parking near the front entrance, you'll be in your car for a long long time, plus with ppl walking slowly and across the street, you won't get anywhere. The place is usually staffed quite well, but sometimes customers get rowdy and their kids run all over the place and it's just chaos. I like to come in the mornings on weekdays. The most calm time at Walmart, EVER. Their stuff is usually stocked but their workers can be kind of snappy sometimes, which I don't appreciate at all. read more

I should've known better than to come back here! After reading my 1st review of this place, I guess I was desperate enough to shop here again! I waited about 30 min to do a return, and that was after a couple laps in the parking lot to find parking. I'm never coming back here again. The prices are not THAT much lower to justify the hassle of shopping here. The lady who did my return was I experienced and didn't really know what she was doing, but she was nice. Her supervisor had to stop what she was doing to help other customers to come and help out the inexperienced lady multiple times. read more
