Went to Customer service where I was met with a young man who was licking his fingers, eating and wiping them on his pants. He wore a do rag on his head along with his hood. He kept eating and licking his fingers. and he kept eating his Cheezits. I had to pick up a few items, so I went to self check out and was met with another young man who was not helpful at all. I asked for assistance, he rolled his eyes, hit the register button and then walked away as I was telling him thank you. When I left I again said thank you for his help and he looked at me, rolled his eyes. I will probably never shop here again. I went yesterday to get registration renewal and the young lady at the courtesy booth, could not scan the barcode. I asked her to type it in manually. She said she couldn't. She had to scan the barcode from the registration remover notice which I thought it was BS because I've seen in the past other personnel able to type it in manually but to have no disagreement or call manager I went to the other Kroger that's 6200 Highway six and I got a lady there was able to type it in manually and get my geregistration renewal. read more

I'm still a local resident and still shopping at this location. I can say it's improved somewhat in the last few years, but not enough to be impressive. I think the opening of the Toll road to Sienna helped corporate step things up a bit. Most days, it's ok - things are stocked and it's pretty neat and tidy. The availability of cashiers is a crap shoot - with you losing at the worst times. I mostly stick to the self check out and try to make a list before I go in. It's so close I can't say I will stop going there but I do try to get things from other places if I can. WINNER. kinda. read more

I love shopping at this Kroger! I don't want to shop anywhere else; I despise wal-mart so if I can get it at Krogers I will! The management here is great! I couldn't be happier with the pharmacy staff other than a couple of individuals that work behind the counter that I don't get along with but other than that I really like the two pharmacist that work there. Yes they say they close at 9 but usually they are locking up shop at 8:45 so be there early. Once again they have great management in the store I usually see one to two managers walking around every time I am in the store and they always ask if I need help or how I am doing. I went to the store in Missouri City at 8 am. The 50% of the staff did not have face masks coving their mouth and nose. When I asked the cashier to cover her nose with her mask she rolled her eyes and ignored me. I complained to the Manager that so many staff were not wearing masks correctly and using cloth masks that did not cover their noses. He said he would take care of it. Kroger's cashier refused to honor a "Store Issued Coupon" for an item that was marked down. Assistant manager also refused, and both were rather nasty about it. My wife and I have shopped here for the last 5 years, but never again. The store started out being consumer friendly, offering senior discounts and reasonable pricing. In the last five years I have seen pricing go up (on their meats especially) and they no longer offer senior discounts. From now on, I will be shopping at HEB's, just a couple of miles further down the road. At least I'll know if the meat I'm buying is Prime, Choice or Select at HEB's. read more

I want to share an Amazing experience tht happened Saturday morning 9/26/2020.... I rushed into the store in hopes of picking up some pinwheel sandwiches from the "deli" Dept for my sons birthday party that was happening in 2 hours. I asked the deli guy if they had any already premade sandwich trays ... NO LUCK.... I glanced at the section he pointed to but they only had the cheese and cracker trays. A lil disappointed until 2 ladies walked up asking me what I was looking for. I turned around and there stood a manager name Layna and a lady tht worked in the deli. I gave her my requests of a tray of Turkey pinwheels ..... she asked me how much time I had .... I said an hour.... the manager said finish shopping & come back in 30 mins and it'll be ready !!! REALLY?? Is this a dream ??? This is a perfect day 30 minutes later I had a pinwheel sandwich deli tray thank you thank you thank you for executing my request at the last hour ..... shout out to Layna the manager and the lady in the deli.... tht was AWESOME customer service!! read more

I recently decided to discontinue shopping at Kroger and shop at H-E-B instead. Several factors determined my decision. Customer service is extinct, you are forced to check yourself out, with very few cashiers , carts scattered all over the parking lot, disgruntled employees even vented to me about how the company is too cheap to get appropriate help. Several times I've had problems getting service at seafood deli , and the quality of food is a concern, especially the meat and fruit, not always fresh, I frequent Kroger often because it's close to home but I'm willing to drive a few extra miles to get great customer service and quality food at H-E-B. read more

First we go to the deli and ordered a half lb of two types of deli meat but we get a lb instead. Then we order a lb of cheese and we only get half a lb. clearly these three teens were not paying attention because they were either talking about their previous weekend or upcoming weekend plans. Then --there was a man waiting before me to bee serviced and the teen from the deli yelled to the young lady at the bakery that she had a customer waiting. She yelled from where she was and asked if he needed help. He jokingly said, "yes if you want to help me". She replied, "I don't have a choice". He clearly was joking but that did it for both of us I think. As we walked through the store and at checkout the floors clearly needed to be swept and mopped. Management isn't doing their job. Overall: Dirty. Lazy employees. Poor customer service. I'll just go to HEB from now on read more

Today I visited the store at 10250 Texas 6 Missouri City, TX 77459-4734 and unfortunately I had a bad experience. I will be short as possible because time is valuable. At 6:30pm I dropped off my prescription with a lady. She was not friendly but I can deal with that. She asked what time I would return and I told her before close, she said okay and handed me back my prescription. When I returned the same day at 8:43pm I was told by a man (the pharmacist) that they could not fulfill my order because I asked for the prescription back. I explained to the man that I did not say that. The lady I spoke with at 6:30 was not being honest with him and basically lied. I explained a second time to the man that I did not say that and he stated that I asked for the prescription back. He basically called me a liar. If he was not in the conversation with me and the lady, how could he know what was said? Instead of accusing me of something I did not say, he should have just said, "Sir, I am sorry but we made a mistake, please give me your prescription and come back in the morning." I would have been okay with this. After all of that, I asked the man if I could go get my prescription from the car and he said that it was too late. I did not understand this because it was only 8:48pm and they did not close until 9pm. I told him I am going to CVS and he said, "okay sorry." Lastly, I asked for me AAA card back and I discovered they threw it in the trashcan. The man had to fish it out of the trash can to give it back to me, but only after I asked. The man missed an opportunity to make everything right for the customer. I fortunately have a CVS and HEB down the road and I assure Kroger that they what want my business...especially how competitive the market is. read more

I shopped at the Missouri City location this morning 12/27/2020 and I had a cart full of groceries and went to check out and there was no checker in sight. I am a senior citizen and and am cautious about touching surfaces. Why do you have so many full service checkout stations and no one to tend them? I am not happy with your store. Employees at the deli and bakery counter are helpful. The deli folks will let you try before buying. I'd give a higher review, except their produce section is not good. Broccoli is always spoiled. Too much misting. Organic apples are mostly unavailable even when in season. Packaged conventional and organic baby carrots beyond best buy date. Watery and gooey looking. read more

Often times there are items on the floor, floors appear unmopped, and especially the makeup section is generally a mess. I also find the staff to be unhelpful and sometime rude- like they don't want to be there. I buy my meat at HEB- but not here. It's my go-to grocery store when I can't make it to Whole Foods. They have a good selection of the "Simple Truth" organics, and generally have a decent selection of organic produce. I've had quick and friendly service most of the time and helpful people in the deli and meat departments. No real complaint other than I've been on a bad day when it seemed as though they had a severe gnat infestation. read more

Been shopping there since 2010.....No More.... Staff working there now for the most part very unfriendly. One female seems to be head checker yells at staff, walks around in a aggressive stance, when clerks ask for help her facial expression gives the appearance of 'Don't Bother me'. she is very unfriendly to the customers. Staff smell like cigarette smoke. Employees smoking out front to the point customers have to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the store. Most times it is understaffed. Staff appears to be new to the store as most good employees have transferred out, quit or just left. I have made my complaints about how fresh fruit including bananas are damaged or smashed during bagging to managers with no positive results. My last visit was the straw that broke the camels back. Dead roaches on the floor near the card aisle, canned goods and close to the meat sections. Dust balls all over, store is just plain dirty. Pharmacy staff has changed and appears to do just the minimal work. Have moved on and now shop at the new Krogers and discovered friendly faces working there. We have transferred all of our prescriptions to this store and will not return to the dirty Kroger's . read more

The store is okay but the meat market is questionable. Today I bought some beef bones for the first time. Thought I would join this new bone broth craze. Got home, opened the package and almost fainted from the stench. This is, at least, the fourth time I have purchased meat or seafood from them that had gone bad! Since it was $3 and we didn't want to stink up the car we didn't take it back two of the other times we did. I had stopped shopping there even though it is the closest store to our house. The pharmacy at this place needs to learn about customer service. I learned that I have acute appendicitis today and called the prescription in at 830pm (they close at 9) and they refused to fill it "because we close at 9. You can cal it in in the morning, we open at 9 so call at 10". I guess I'll just tell my appendix not to explode tonight. After calling them back and waiting on the phone, they told me it would be ready if I drive up there by 9. I did, and they shut the "closed" curtain after the car in front of me in line passed through. So I ring the bell, thinking that a decent human being would respond since I explained to them that my situation. Nope. After two rings they turned the bell off. Because the manager had better things to do than take care of a sick customer. Thanks a lot, a-hole.
