My wife and I frequent this location regularly, and we've always had good experiences. To us this feels like the best laid out location in the Twin Cities area, everything is easy to find compared to other Targets, and is overall just well organized. Just today, I was back here, and they were able to write a happy birthday message on a cake same day, and the bakery staff was very kind about it. I also really appreciate that they will bring out Starbucks drinks withdrive up orders, I think all stores do that now, but wow, has it been a really nice convenience! read more

Not my "normal target", but stopped based on convenience. This target is very nice on the inside with a large amount of open registers and self checkout. They had everything I needed. Parking lot has a huge amount of online pickup spots so just park in back of lot and walk. read more

Target's pickup service was impressively fast, but unfortunately the items I ordered were out of stock despite showing in stock and in my pick up service. This can be frustrating, especially when you're counting on those ingredients to cook a meal, or clean a mess. They need to tell people these are out of stock before you pick up your groceries, otherwise, you leave with the impression that you have these items in your grocery bags. read more

Target is a rip off. They advertise deals all over the store, but you need to do a bunch of prework on their stupid app to get the sale deals. The customer service desk at this location refused to refund the items we literally bought a minute before and 20 feet from the service desk. No more shopping at Target. I come to this target three or four times a year .... today, I stopped by to buy rice cooker: cheaper than online shopping!!!!! The place was also re decorated and looks much fancier with a classy look. Actually, some areas are no more the straight boxy shelves, but the curvy modern isles. Self check out is ample. What I observed at the Plymouth Target this morning inspired me to write my first yelp review, which is saying a lot. I was up at the front of the store and heard a commotion near the restrooms. Apparently some lady had passed out on the restroom floor, and another shopper brought it to their attention. The younger employees were not quite sure what to do, until the dark haired female manager named Deb came and took over. She was a BOSS! In short order she was in the restroom checking on the customer, had 911 called and was working to get the customer out of the locked stall. She was calm but decisive directing the young kids working on what to do, retail needs more managers with experience like her! (Yes, I was nosy and stuck around and eavesdropped to hear what was going on, I got the impression it was a drug overdose.) The woman soon came to, but sounded very belligerent and like she was giving the employees a hard time. I could not make out what she was saying, but that manager never lost her cool, was calm and spoke with authority. Very impressed by the way she represented Target, wish I would have had time to stick around and see how it ended. read more

I don't think I've ever experienced a Target as nice as this one. I loved the massive produce area including a deli and sushi area. They had ready made fresh salads. I tried the blueberry, strawberry and spinach with cheese and walnuts that was very fresh. Rows and rows of grocery items which I don't ever find in California. Clothing areas much more expansive and easy to locate. The cards and gift wrap section is off in the far corner near check out so end your trip there. read more

This store has really gone downhill. I came in for 2 items only because they were available on their website. One item was located on CL 6. It took 3 employees to figure out what CL 6 was. I am at this target every week. Every one is so friendly and helpful. Always willing to go the extra mile. Wilson and Brandon in the deli are cheerful and always in a good mood. Alice in the bakery is so helpful. And Joe in the meat department, along with Ben and many many others. I like this target. It's the closes one to where I live and they have a pretty good selection of groceries. They also have a Starbucks inside which is kind of nice if you're looking to just have maybe a bakery item or a coffee. They do a good job maintaining this one and it's usually almost always really clean. Checkout lines usually not more than one or two people they also have the self-serve checkout line if you're in a hurry. read more

I use the drive-up delivery option weekly to get my groceries or other needed items. It is so easy to use. You do have to download the Target app for the best convenience though. Then you just go to the "Search" window and start adding in all your groceries of interest. It will ask you if you want to go inside to pick them up at the customer service location or if you prefer to park in the drive-up area and have them bring them out to you. Since my health is considered high risk with Covid-19, I always say to bring them out to me. On the app, you let them know when you are on your way, and then when you have arrived. They are pre-paid so you don't even have to have a credit card swiped. they just scan the code on your phone, even from a long distance this works. They always come out with a mask on too. I wear one too while they are interacting with me, so they feel safe as well. I usually open a back window and they just put the items in my car through the window, but I've seen a lot of customers pop the back trunk area to their cars too. The staff are always nice and they are super busy running in and out of the store delivering to the drive-up parking section. God bless them. It is a much-needed service and I truly appreciate it. [Since I have to wait for them to come out, I am sad to see customers who still go in without a mask even though it is required and exit without one - I don't think Target confronts them on this issue and I don't blame them. People are really angry these days and no one wants to confront an angry person. I wish they knew me personally or one of the many people I know who have had parents die from this virus. Then maybe they would put it on for the 5-10 minutes they are inside]. Anyway, enough of that. I am just grateful Target has this drive-up option. Thanks, Target!! read more

Summary: - An incredibly reliable and consistent Super Target that serves as a great one-stop shop for all your needs, from school supplies to groceries. --- I've been coming to this same Target for years and it has always been consistently good. Maybe I have a little bit of loyalty associated with this particular location but they've handled my back to school needs, weekly grocery lists, and even a few black Friday runs. The staff is friendly and the store is clean and well stocked. There is an abundance of parking that can only be found in the burbs. There's even a Starbucks inside! In my experience, this Target also handles returns really well, contrary to other peoples' experiences. Maybe the location had an off day when they went. If you ever want to feel like you're in Walmart while still looking like you're in target- this is the place for you! It's always crowded, parking is a nightmare, there's a solid chance you're going to run into to a suburban mom with an overloaded cart at every corner (but don't worry, it will NOT slow her down at all!), and a lot of times aisles have been relocated which leads to further confusion in the cart traffic department. They do have a nice looking liquor store in the front, and self check outs at both ends. Starbucks is always hoppin, so be sure to add an extra 25 minutes to your trip if you really want that latte. I still find myself going here, because it's so close to where I live. But if I have any extra energy, I'll go the long way round to one that doesn't make my anxiety go to red alert. read more

Love the store, hate the bad vibes over the walkie talkies. I love this store, shop there at least twice a week. The employees on the sales floor and at the checkout work their butts off, it seems to ALWAYS be busy. But it is irritating as heck to constantly hear some guy on the walkie talkies the employees carry constantly barking at them to do more, do more, why isn't this done, etc. Dude - how about getting out there and helping them instead of just barking from wherever it is you hide in the building? SHOPPING WHILE BLACK I wasn't going to post this, but it has been heavy on my heart since it happened...and I feel like I just had a very bad break up with one of my favorite places... A couple weeks ago, I was shopping at my neighborhood Target and on my way out, I decided to look at some makeup. Now I usually buy my makeup from Ulta, but I was in a rush that day and wanted to see if there was an equivalent to my Clinique foundation for temporary use. Mind you, I'm on the phone with my mom the entire time I'm looking. I begin to compare my makeup with many others, side by side to find a match. I did this for about 10 minutes without any success, so I put my makeup back in my bag and proceeded to the check out with the rest of my items. As I proceed to leave the store, still talking to my mom, I'm approached by Target loss prevention... The guy: "What were you doing in the makeup isle?" Me: "shopping for makeup..." TG: "Is there something you'd like to tell me?" Me: "Uh, maybe you should tell the ppl upstairs to add more makeup shades for women of color because I couldn't find a match for my shade while you're all in my face thinking I stole some cheap ass makeup!" I buy Clinique, (I pull out the bottle and show him) and the only reason I stopped to look here is because I have a full day...didn't know I was gonna be profiled for shopping here, a place where I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars; I come here all the time! Do y'all sell Clinique?" TG: CRICKETS..."Uh, ok ma'am, have a good rest of your day!" Me: "How dare you embarrass me like this in front of all these people?" I don't have to steal a mutha$&@*in' thing from this store!" TG: Walks back inside super embarrassed... Needless to say, I haven't stepped back into a Target since then...also thinking about canceling my redcard because of this...I wonder how many people go through this everyday ? My 70's something husband went to the Target store in Plymouth, Minnesota (Vinewood Ln) today to buy some shoes. We found some shoes in the Men's Department. We picked out some for him to try on. There wasn't any place to sit and try on shoes. He ended up squeezing in and sitting with a men's department mannequin. I have previously contacted this Target Store about the fact that there isn't anywhere to sit in the store. We're not all millennials and soccer moms - many of us are older and need to sit down to rest while shopping. I don't think it is asking too much to find a place to sit so that you can try on shoes or just rest. Target should give up some retail space to accommodate customers who are older and/or disabled. read more

I have to update my review because their pickup service. I mean wow, wow! Quite possibly one of the worst managed targets in the history of targets. I mean really they should be embarrassed. Or maybe this is a new "nobody is in charge do what you want" targets? Like to try as a new management style? It never matters what time of day, snow storm or not, they can't handle pickup logistics. They have one person delivering to 24 spots. They should get tips from other targets , or Best Buy, or Walmart, or anywhere. Or they should maybe just admit they are really bad at this and just not offer pickup. I mean maybe I should just pretend they don't offer pickup at all. Maybe I should pretend this target doesn't exist at all. They are so slow that people are just leaving, and then the delivery people show up, and the cars are no longer in the right places. I've been here so long I have to pee... I didn't bring a bed pan... I could probably walk to five guys, go, eat a burger, and still get back in time for my order. read more

They do not really stand behind the merchandise they sell. I brought back the remains of a pedometer that virtually disintegrated on the third day I owned it. I had the original receipt and they refused to honor it because the darn thing was incomplete -- it had broken off as I used it. In general, Target sells mostly cheap junk to males; my wife loves it. For me, it is a distant option to Mills Fleet Farm, Dicks, and even Sport Mart when it comes to stuff that guys buy and do not want to see disintegrate on a first or second usage. This store is constantly out of stock of many many items in the grocery section. It has been this way for several months . Today I could not find many items and even asked for help to see if they were in stock. Nope not in stock. The shelves in each aisle are constantly empty. Done shopping for groceries here. I always walk out frustrated. Inventory control is terrible thus the empty shelves. You find a product you like and try to repurchase and they no longer carry it. Guest services has at least one incompetent person that I cringe when she is trying to serve me. Today the cashier didn't give me a $5 gift card for one of their gimmicks, spend $15 on sunscreen and receive a gift card. I didn't realize it until I was home unpacking bags that I didn't receive mine. Called immediately and was on hold with Guest Services for 10 minutes, no answer, called back and operator put me on hold again. Called again Operator said Guest Services was swamped and she didn't know how long the wait would be. Asked for manager and was told I can come back in with receipt and get $5 card. Sheesh what a waste of time for a lousy $5. Their cartwheel app is annoying. Just give us the darn discount and stop making us go thru hoops. The above examples are why Target is laying off people and losing business. Obviously poorly managed and have lost their way. The blonde teen girl that works at Starbucks took forever. She made our drinks than completely forgot about the food. She started eating food and kept looking at us. Finally figured out she completely forgot. Start making it than when it was done threw it in the bag so sloppily and never enen said a word to us. Very horrible service. read more

Store is dirty, entrance carpet appears not to have been cleaned in weeks. Carts have dirty tissues in them took 4 carts before finding one without dirty tissues. Trash and debris throughout the store. Almost fell a couple of times when not seeing debris. A banana peel on the floor in the checkout lane. I have never experienced a Target this filthy. This was at 1:00 on Sunday they were not open long to be this bad. Obviously management that does not care. Not going back, I will stick with Crystal Target that has always been clean and neat. read more
