The Cleanest Bathroom we have come across when traveling. Men's and women's looked unused....that's how clean they were. As RV'ers we patronize the business when we need a short overnight break. This entire store was clean and organized the parking lot was trash free from trash/debris. As a former North Carolinian I was not surprised to find it in this condition. I went to shop at the store today and my blood sugar went down. I was so weak and tried to get some food in my stomach. Shannon at Deli center really was very attentive and caring. This Walmart was just remodeled !! 1) when they actually have milk on the shelves, the bottles are dented and always leaking. The shelves reak of sour milk. 2) the store is always dirty inside and out. 3) the lower management are very rude and ignorant , I guess to busy on their cell phones ! 4) I assume this is the new standard for Walmarts management. Workers have no product knowledge if you can find one . I cannot comprehend the spending of millions/billions of dollars to upgrade stores and products, to end up with a dirty flea market shopping experience. It continues to amaze me that so many Walmart Supercenters don't understand the concept of things needing to be in stock so that customers can purchase them. Two of the items I wanted today either did not have enough or did not have any. That's a disappointment. The store itself is pretty standard for a Walmart. Some items moved around by customers. A shopping cart with a flat wheel. A long queue at the register. They are monitoring the number of customers in the store, per state/county guidelines. Masks are required but it is not enforced. Most customers are not honoring any sort of social distancing. I grabbed the few things I needed and escaped. Earlier that morning, I published a book (see photos) and wanted to go somewhere not in my town as a celebration. I ended up at Walmart. I used to go to Vegas for adventure. Now I go to Walmart. This Walmart was similar to others. However, something did happen here. I had to pee, so I headed toward the Men's Room. A dude in a yellow vest was mopping the floor at the entrance and there was a cart acting as a blockade next to him. I stood there patiently, waiting for him to finish mopping so I could enter. He just kept mopping. He obviously didn't like me, either because he didn't like anyone or because he was working at Walmart and wasn't treated well, which put him in a bad mood. The Mopper eventually made eye contact with me, but he didn't say anything. It was more of a challenging look. I don't like challenging looks. I took this opportunity to look back at him while moving forward and stepping over his mop. There was only one other person in the Men's Room, and it was another person with a yellow vest. I didn't realize what this meant at the time. I was more focused on relief. When I exited the Men's Room--and stepped over the mop again--I looked behind me and noticed a big sign on the cart that read: 'Restrooms Closed.' Oh well. I've never been good at following the rules anyway. After that, I walked around the store, bought a couple of items, noticed a bunch of unhappy employees and scared customers, and drove home--never to return again. I'm here from out of state visiting family and, of course, had to check out Wal,art in Moorseville. I purchased some items on Monday and later realized one article was the wrong size. I returned yesterday and am elderly and obviously physically challenge. The greeter didn't even attempt or offer to get me a scooter. Today I was treated horribly when I was trying to purchase some jeans. I found a couple pair of jeans in sale for $5 and even $1 but wasn't my size therefore I searched for my size in the exact style. I just wanted to that price for the same jeans but instead I was treated like I was doing something wrong. These are hidden clearances. The associate consulted his manager and she denied the request. She quickly took those jeans for herself. Then the associate stated they don't do that which simply didn't feel like helping nor doing their job. One of the better run WalMart but still nothing outstanding. Prices are generally good but I've found on electronics, other venue's are cheaper and for the same product. Grocery part is good and will give a run to any of the other local chains. I was a bit sketical on meat and produce but in limited sampling, have found the quality to be very good. That said, be careful and beware the advs, comparison shop because they are not the most economical across the board in all cases. read more

Of all the Walmart's I have visited so far around the country, this one in Moorseville NC has to be one of the busiest so far. In that accord the management should take the action of assigning more cashiers. While Walmart is not noted for its quick response to customer needs, there is such a thing as being practical. Having self check out is a step forward for them. Unfortunately they severely fail to reassess the need for additional staff frequently enough. When I see the checkout lines backed up 10 or more customers deep on all checkout lanes including self check out on a normal day, then management is failing to do its job. Seeing paying customers walk away from full carts not only cost the company money in lost sales, but in labor to return merchandise that was abandon. As for the store it's self, it is what you would expect of Walmart. All things said. If you expect reasonable checkout times. Got to a different walmart. It's like once you seen one Walmart you seen them all. The only difference is the employees, the way they place their products when you walk into the store. Have been here numerous times. It's is crazy here on the weekends. Lots of people and car dashing about in the parking area. They have lots of merchandise here. However, when things are on sale there are limitations with the sizes when it comes to apparel. We were looking for champion shirts for the employees and the only sizes they had was small. We needed large and x-large. So, we had to go to Target to see if they had any in stock. Given my druthers I enter on the grocery side of things. Just seems a little kept-er over there by the Freeosk. Stay to the right to shop for victuals, go left and you have EVERYTHING else. Bakery and deli blend with produce in the open space as you enter; the bakery can be a little dicey but I've had some success sampling the produce. Packaged foods are packaged foods, just keep an eye on the 'best before' date. Continuing around you get to cleaning and household supplies before being confronted by the whole rest of the Walmart experience and thereafter you're on your own. Besides occasional forays into food I'm usually in here for all cotton button front casual shirts on sale, those pens I like, or that thing I can't find in a regular store with regular people at a regular regular price... like shoe repair adhesive in a tube, 5-gallon water jugs, the freeosk. read more

Rose is the worst manager I have ever had to deal with in my life. If I could give it a 0 star I would. Waited for 15 minutes in line to buy a pack of cigarettes. Got carded twice while in line. Cashier said she was waiting for a manager to help because the register locked out and she took her sweet time. Then as soon as the manager got there she told us "we weren't even waiting that long." Extremely rude and disrespectful. Also the men's bathroom literally had $hit everywhere on the floor and it began spilling out the front door. One gentlemen almost slipped on it, and they were not even putting signs up or rushing to clean it. The whole store smelled like $hit. Ugh. I avoid this place like the plague. Mostly because the place is always packed and maneuvering through the parking lot is quite like playing a game of PAC-Man meets Tetris. It's your typical Wally-World. The Land of Everything. You need groceries? Wal-Mart has 'em. You need under garments? Wal-Mart has 'em. You need gift wrap? Shoes? Pillow? Pots & Pans? Cherry Chapstick? You guessed it! Wal-Mart has it! The prices are typically cheaper here than other places but I'll pay a bit of a premium to avoid the "people of Wal-Mart". One little story about this Wal-Mart that I think you'll find hilarious. So, a few years back hubby had a 2007 Mustang. He put some custom rims on it and they had custom hub caps in the center of the rim. We stopped in this Walmart to pick up something and when we came back someone stole 2 of his hubcaps. Not all 4 of them. Just 2. Best we can figure is, someone stole their hubcaps so they needed to steal someone else's to replace their missing ones. Or they sell hub caps on the black market. Or make necklaces out of car hub caps. We haven't figured it out yet but those are just some ideas we came up with. read more

5 stars to the staff here! I was frantic trying to find a hulk toy last minute before Christmas. Walmart's online app said it had 3 more, but I could not find it. Jorge, one of the store managers, went into the back storage twice trying to locate them. He was able to locate an unopened pallet of toys with one box labeled Hulk, but alas, once he opened it up, it was a different Hulk toy. This man could have easily said, "Sorry, we don't have it!" But, he did not! He really tried in vain trying to find me this toy for Christmas. Kudos to Jorge and the Walmart staff here! read more

If your home delivery comes from this store, skip the hassle. Since July I have gotten most of my orders from walmart.com with only a few problems with the items they substituted. Just had the worst experience of my life in the past 30 hours and still no response from the company. Good luck reaching them but I did finally IM customer support and was told my delivery would come the next day as a "priority." Lol - it's still not here and they provide ZERO updates. Most of the employees are dumb as bricks and couldn't care less about customer service which is interesting because the place is peppered with some of the nicest hardest working cashiers I've ever met. I've ordered online twice for store delivery both times they messed up the order so I Stay with amazon now. They constantly and purposely run out of certain food items to keep the stock fresh and not lose money,watch for it when u shop over time. They have thousands of square feet and only 3 types of burritos in the store nuff said. Their bakery is absolutely horrible compared to the denver location and denver is nothing to write home about. Worst managers on duties. I kindly asked for help about my receipt and it was as of they were annoyed....as they stood and talk to each other about disgruntled customers. BUT customer service employee, Lisa, was absolutely helpful. She was calm and polite with each guest even though she was working the counter alone. Lost my keys and looked for 2 hours. My phone tracks my steps per day and my average is about 1000.... I'm VERY INACTIVE and my step count rose to 10,000. My feet killing me. Rays, the guy who works outside on the carts helped my mom and I the most. I could not have thanked him enough. Maria and another blond lady at the changing room area helped a lot too. They consistently tried to help. Everyone was amazing except Christine at customer service. I'd come every 20 min to check if someone turned them in. It's not like I could've left without them. She'd see me coming over with the same question, ignore me and as I get all the way to her desk and ask, she'd shake her head no. She could've just shook her head when she made eye contact with me. Towards the end when my father came over, I tried to leave my information with Maria as I didn't want to go to Christine after being such a burden on her (or at least felt like I was with her attitude). Maria kept telling me to go to customer service and when I felt weary and told her why not, she took action. She took my info down and helped get it to a manager while raya came running with my moms info written on a napkin. Raya then Proceeded to find bandaids for my mom since she cut herself earlier. A few hours later Maria personally called me and told me they found the keys. I wrote this review specifically for Raya and Maria's amazing efforts to help me find my keys. When to get my tires balanced and rotated. When I arrived at this location there was no one in none of the bays getting work. So when I pulled up to one of the bays there was a crowd of guys standing around looking at me like what in the hell do you want. So there was about a 10 min wait before they helped me.
