I've never had to wait long to be rung out and I can get my receipts electronically. Walgreens is really holding out on the self-checkouts front, but the staff here are friendly. I haven't had use for pharmacy, but, again, no issues here. I can't speak to a price comparison with a nearby competitor, but I do get more and better store coupons elsewhere. Walgreens does, however, discount a myriad of items in their stores so it's worth browsing through the aisles to see what you can find.

Christine is so inept that instead of even attempting to look up my prescription information for the insurance I provided she stated she would be charging me full price, when I gave push back bc I do have insurance and needed my RX right away I did catch a bit of an attitude, but Christine at that point was already giving me one and it was hard not to react to her unprofessionalism. After she literally just walked away and the male Pharmacist came to assist and let me know he could in fact pull up the information for my insurance, however while checking out and questioning why Christine handled the situation in the way she did he just stated she was new and he was sorry. While I asked for a pen and her name he then let me know I was interrupting his lunch and that he had already wasted 5 minutes and needed to go. Insane to treat patients who are picking up meds. I would give Benzer Pharmacy 10 stars if I could!!…read more Before I tried Benzer Pharmacy I filled my prescriptions at Walmart because I assumed Walmart always offered the lowest prices; I was so wrong. While Walmart is indeed cheaper than Publix, filling my medication with Benzer is literally 1/3 the price of Walmart... and FAST! No more waiting 2-5 hours before the prescription is filled. Benzer has never taken more than 15 minutes to have it filled from the time I call it in, to the time it's ready for pick up. I'm not even exaggerating. Price(s) for same exact medication/prescription I've been filling monthly for two years now: Publix: over $50 (Full disclosure, I haven't filled my prescription at Publix in over 18 months. That was the cost at that time.) Walmart: $32.73 Benzer: $11.24 (for the exact same medication) My only regret is that it took me 2 years to try Benzer. And, get this: I only did so because I was willing to pay more if it meant I didn't have to wait 2-5 hours for Walmart to fill the prescription; it was always 2 trips; drop off, and back again to pick it up. The only problem is that they are very expensive. The medication cost $120 but if I was able to get it at a CVS or Walgreens it would have been $54. Great for pharmacy as it cuts down on interruptions (that is why they have front personnel, right?) but lousy for patients as they never get to speak with the pharmacist or pharmacy personnel and get their questions answered. It is an awful practice and CVS should be ashamed of themselves for having instituted such a horrid practice. I did the phone tag scenario today with the pharmacy and was frustrated and ended up repeating my message several times (the pharmacy tech did not pick up on the question posed the first time and did not answer my question so I had to call back). She got offended and never called back the second time. Great interaction! CVS and this phone tag system is an exercise in frustration and one that is not for me! Time to look for another pharmacy.

As someone in the medical profession, I know that not to be the case. I asked them why they did not tell me their policy last month since they already had the Rx in hand and there was no answer.
