    The guys in the tire department are the absolute best. I went to fill my air and one of my tires…read morewas way too low. I brought it over to the tire center and they filled it for me but took a quick look around and saw a nail while they were filling it. Asked if I wanted to patch it. Let me know there were 2 nails in the tire...long story short, there were a total of 8 nails in my tires but they got me through the night and I walked away with 4 new tires with warranty on them and no nails, in less than 2 1/2 hrs. They even stayed a bit past closing to make sure I wasn't driving around with busted tires. Overall fantastic communication every step of the way, very understanding, and doing all this while they had so many customers coming in and out.

    This review is specifically for Costco Optometry. I purchased a pair of glasses that I had to…read morereturn with 6-8 times to have adjusted due to optical distortion, glare, weight, migraines, discomfort and facial bruising caused by wearing the new RayBan frames and prescription. I have lost days of work commuting to Costco instead of work for the day, then having to make the hours up. Not only would Costco Optical Department not simply honor the warranty and replace the lenses or even the frames with something usable day to day, but they kept encouraging me to try to adjust to the new prescription and frames, and just bring them back in for adjustment if the discomfort continued. The team even had me visit RayBan separately for replacement nose pads on the frames they sold me, when one fell off after an adjustment that same day. I am stuck with a pair of heavy, uncomfortable frames with a prescription so strong they cause fatigue and migraines from short periods of wear, and seem to amplify glare, despite the antiglare coating, as Costco Optical kept having me try adjustments until the return period ran out, and will not replace the frames and lenses to resolve the issue without a completely new purchase. This has been a phenomenal waste of time, and I can't recommend the Optical team at Costco, despite some of them being thoroughly helpful and knowledgeable--except when it comes to replacing eyeglasses that just do not work for the wearer.

Therefore, I have attempted several times to schedule appointments for myself and my husband using their website. I have NEVER received an email, phone call, message. I can receive calls, it's just I never know when it's going to cut out. Don't offer online appointments if you're not going to follow through.

    Please read this to the end. I am an Uber driver. I picked up a passenger. Let's call him Clifton,…read moreto drive to the McGruder eye Institute for eye surgery. Cliff told me that the original driver - not Uber - sent to pick him up never showed. Then an Uber driver showed up but drove off. I was the third driver. All were arranged by his insurance carrier Wellcare. When I took him to the eye Institute, he was very concerned that he needed someone to stay with him. I agreed to do so even though I am an Uber driver. I assumed that once he was checked in, I would be finished. We waited between 30 and 45 minutes to be called to be checked in. It took so long that after 15 or 20 minutes I left re-park my car in an actual parking place. Because I was convinced they did not really need me to stay I started to leave but Clifton became upset; pulled out a lot of bills and offered to pay me to stay with him. I told him to put the money away and that I would stay as long as I was required. I again assumed that once he was finally checked in my duties would be over. When we were finally checked in the lady made clear that he would not be operated on unless I stayed with him during the surgery and indeed required me to sign a document agreeing to do so. Despite being a retired attorney, I knew how upset Clifton would be if the surgery did not go forward. He was a nervous wreck during the entire car ride, although he was trying to be friendly, polite, and talkative. My question is: how did the McGruder eye Institute and or his insurance carrier - Wellcare - allow a situation to develop where he was scheduled for and went to surgery without a person to sit with him and drive him back home after the surgery? I was so amazed about this situation that I briefly texted my three daughters to tell them about it. I expected my lawyer daughter to be upset with me for signing something agreeing to be this Uber passengers caretaker, and get him home safely. I am sitting in the waiting room as I dictate this waiting for Clifton to come out of surgery so that I can drive him home. Whether I will even do that as an Uber driver, or simply as his friend and signed caretaker, remains to be seen. When I left to go to the waiting room, he was third in line for surgery so that I'm expected to be here for another hour and a half minimum and then need to drive him home. Doing this required me to cancel a reservation with an Uber passenger I had for 3:15 PM. I have no idea whether I'll be available at 3:15 PM. I am happy to assist Clifton. I am outraged at the situation He and I were placed in by the McGruder eye Institute, Dr. Beneke, and Wellcare. Something needs to be done about this. This is unacceptable; ridiculous; outrageous; and every other negative word you can use to describe it. This cannot be a unique situation. Hopefully someone will bring a class action so that patients (and Uber/Lyft drivers) are not placed in this position again.

I got a flat tire late on…read morea Saturday afternoon, and came to learn that my vehicle had a very uncommon tire size, that virtually no tire shop kept in stock. Jose was able to order one from their warehouse, to arrive promptly on Monday morning, and was able to get me in and out so easily and quickly knowing that I was under a time crunch. They were so helpful, genuine, and easy to work with. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or that they were trying to upsell me on anything. Definitely recommend this location!

Then the following week my tire started leaking air so I call and try to get an estimate for all new tires and get told something is wrong with their system so I would have to come in for them to take a look at what tires would fit my vehicle (I have an account with them and they know my vehicle)... I then asked if they were busy and Caleb said they could get it all taken care of in 45 mins. (All new tires and alignment) But when I get there 20 mins later, I talk to the same sales associate Caleb and he makes it seem like all these people just showed up and the wait time is probably doubled and the system is now working all of a sudden. Then tells me the most common tire people get for my car is not available and he would have to order them. Which is fine, but all of this could've been done OVER THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED, not to mention interrupting the should be quick purchase process twice to answer the phone. Then I ask if they could just fix my tire and do the alignment until my next appointment for the tires and the wait time gets doubled to 1hr 30. I can tell when businesses genuinely get busy and stuff happens but I also can tell when someone is lazy or lying. I've been going to discount tire for 5 years so I know what to expect when it comes to customer service. This was not it. Giant waste of time. I love discount tire but I might find a different location.
