Not sure if this is the store on Interstate Drive here in Norman North of Golden Corral but here goes: Went to get an oil change and was told that they didn't have an oil filter for my car and that I would need to go to Auto Zone and buy one. I had a scheduled appointment through the app and was annoyed that I would have to literally go buy my own filter, especially since the app didn't tell me that they had no filters. So I wasted my gas to come up there, leave and go buy a filter and come back. I asked them if my price would be comped or if I would be given a discount and was uncaringly told NO! I protested and was led to talk to a automotive manager named Tom. When I got to him, he wouldn't even come out and talk to me and relayed his message to me through a cashier. She told me that he said there was nothing that they could do! It was really shitty that he didn't have the balls to talk to me in my face and furthermore, how is it fair that I waste my gas, go buy an oil filter and no one credits me anything for what I spent?! I wasn't asking for the gas I wasted-just to be compensated for the money that I spent because they didn't have the part that THEY needed to complete my oil change. In any event, I have got past oil changes from them, tires and had work done there for years and this is how they treated me! In store may be fine. My review is for the delivery from this location. We upgraded to the yearly delivery fee about a year ago. I just canceled and won't renew here unless I read that things have changed significantly for the better. About 80 percent of our deliveries had large amounts of food missing, unless I paid the extra $5 or $10 for the express delivery. The basic "free" with Walmart plus was a joke. We were missing anywhere from $25 - $100 of groceries. Then the amount was always too high to get the refund in the app. I became quite friendly with Fatima and her colleagues at their escalated cs number. The drivers say it's not them. The store says it's not them. Yet here I am, left without meat, frozen food, dog food, etc time and time again. Sometimes I would even get someone else's stuff. Each time I would call the store and try to make it right. They did not care. SMH. Seriously. C'mon Walmart! You are better than this. Be better. Do better. I haven't stopped believing in you! But get it together!! read more

Went to the eye center to have my sons glasses adjusted. They took them in the back to adjust and broke the glasses. The manager came out and said we are sorry but the integrity of the glasses caused them to break. He suggested we go across the street and "have them pop them in some new frames" and stated that he can do nothing. The glasses were in good working order when we brought them in and they broke them. The manager Will of the eye center said he had the final say and they would do nothing. Do not use this place!! read more

Ok I get it the self-checkout era has begun. Not a fan when I am buying an entire cart worth of groceries but then Crest is a much better option for that anyway. This Wal-Mart location is generally well-stocked so that is a plus but more and more I find long lines at the...self....checkout. Seems they have a rule about needing 1 staff to watch every 4 stations. If only they had a rule about having more staff in place to watch us check ourselves out when it is busy. Every evening I come into the garden center is always closed. On your website you advertise garden is open until 11pm. I asked your entrance greeter on my way out what time you close garden and she responds with "uhhh 5pm." What? 5:00pm. BFFR. Went to store this morning 6-4-2022 at 8:00 AM. Waited at the deli for about 5 minutes while a young woman put chickens on the rotisserie. She looks at me a few times, but doesn't offer to help. Finally, she goes through a door to the back of deli. After another five or minutes, she comes out a different door at the opposite end of the deli and proceeds to go somewhere else in the store. After a few more minutes, I went and found a man in produce to see if he could find someone to help me. When the young woman finally returns, she seemed resentful, and was not the least polite. I know it's getting difficult to hire help these days, but wow. Is this what we're stuck with? read more

Takes too long to pay at the register. An old lady as a cashier was checking all bags of the customer in front of me, because she didn't know which was the item that she didn't bring up. Then when it was my turn, she was doing mistakes with my order too, like bringing up an item twice, that's not the big problem, accidents happen, but it came when I was buying a 18 beer pack, I showed her my driver license, I'm 45 years old, but she asked my husband his ID too, because she said "she has to ask everyone for ID because she didn't know who is drinking them", my husband is almost 44 years old,I can say that he looks older than me, of course he got mad and prefer not to buy the beer. Two things I know about this Wal-Mart.... it holds later hours (yay for night owls such as myself, but oh man, i'm truncating my own mortality by decades, I'm sure...), and they sell groceries here... being from CA and accustomed to CA prices, I felt as if every single item for sale was on clearance. I want to emphatically state that I do not agree with WM's practices and policies toward employees.... I am well aware of their philosophies in the name of profits... but please have pity on fhis Chinese girl...it can get really, realllleee boring at nights, esp. when someone like me is opposed to knocking back a few.. and then a few more... and then just a few more as some were wont to do.. Some of the people who work here are the sweetest, friendliest, most helpful individuals in the world so that saves this location from being a one star mess. Unfortunately, some of the other folks who work here are ridiculously lazy and will go out of their way to avoid putting forth any effort, even when lines of increasingly disgruntled customers are starting to back up. When a supervisor finally did tear herself away from her gaggle of chatting fellow employees to meander over to assist with a problem I'd been having at a register, she looked irritated and attempted to scold me for confusing the cashier (my request was not complex or unreasonable either). Um, do I have on a blue smock? Why should I be the one in charge of remembering how your cash register system works? Even my elderly, normally friendly grandmother exclaimed in disgust "Oooh, rude stupid people work here!" As far as selection of items goes, this is a well stocked, clean store. The folks in the pharmacy are informative and go out of their way to answer your questions. The employees in the produce section are very kind and helpful and there are a few cashiers who really know what they're doing and take their jobs seriously. Too bad that attitude doesn't spread higher up the chain of command. read more

This review is specifically for the Auto Center. I have been getting my oil changed here for 10 years. Service has been hit or miss, but overall my cars have been well cared for by the mechanics and I've never had a serious problem with the oil change and inspection. Now, with all that out of the way... What happened today is enough to keep me from ever going back. I pulled up into the lane for oil changes and within a few minutes a gentleman comes over to ask what I need. "An oil change," I tell him. "It'll be 45 or an hour before we can get to you. Pull up to that bay," he motions to the far bay. "Someone will help you." That was it. The full extent of our conversation. I do as he says and pull up to the bay he gestured toward. I wait. The man who first "helped" me continues to move around tending to other things. He sees me sitting there, but doesn't ever come over again. Two cars arrive after me, both for oil changes (I could hear the exchanges between the drivers and the mechanics who were helping them) and both pull up and are moved into the garage and work begins on them. Still, I wait. At one point a young employee walked over to ask what I needed. I told him I was there for an oil change but was still waiting on someone to help me. He kind of muttered and said he'd have to ask. A few more minutes pass and another mechanic notices me. He yells inside to ask if someone has helped the lady in line for an oil change. Someone yells back, but I couldn't hear that. I continue to wait. At this point I've been sitting in line at the auto center for almost 30 minutes and I'm about to go inside. Suddenly, the first man who helped me appears again after having disappeared into the garage for some time. "Do you need something?" he asks. "I've been waiting here for someone to take my information. I'm here for an oil change." "Oh yeah, I remember seeing you." "Yes, you told me to pull over here and someone would help." "Didn't they take your information inside?" "I didn't know I was supposed to go inside. Every other time I've been here my information has been taken down outside." "Well, they take your information inside. You didn't go inside?" "No, I've been sitting here the whole time. You said someone would be over to help me." "Oh, well, someone should have helped you inside. Go on inside. They'll take care of you in there." It was a clear case of miscommunication, but I got passed over and ignored for so long, it was unacceptable. By the time I got inside and had my information taken down, five cars that had arrived in behind me had been moved into the bays and were being worked on. As I write this my car is still there. I'll be back to edit this review once I have my car back. I almost drove away without the service, but I'd been waiting there so long and was desperate for an oil change. I feel like I'm entering Nazi-land when I shop at Walmart. I have switched to Crest which is cleaner, friendly service and...AND...cheaper prices! Could not believe the meat they sell. I can actually afford it and it is excellent quality! I stopped going to Walmart when they installed the security gates. I HATE that they stop you on your way out to check your receipt. They seem so concerned that they are losing money apparently with people stealing items. I would be more concerned that you are losing good, faithful customers by making us feel like WE are the criminals. Find another way. Changing shelves around won't make us feel 'wanted'...just saying. read more

So today I went and asked for a sled and was waiting outside to the room the woman I asked went where I was approached and interrogated about my intentions while I was waiting and once the woman came back I was once more interrogated when they said they had no sleds. I was placed in front of there security screen/cameras they have throughout and asked what I was doing several times where I was honestly offended as I bought all items I got and felt stereotyped due to the people that had done so. I will no longer be giving this Walmart business due to the unprofessional behavior as I was thinking why would I ask you if you had something as little as A SLED if I was going to steal it lol. Don't shop here if you are of color and don't want to be harassed! Yesterday my mother, 3 year old daughter, 1 year old nephew, and myself went to Walmart to pick up some things. My mom had a cart with the two babies and all her items except a bike that she was purchasing for my daughter. I had the bike in my cart, because of course with two little ones there was no room in my mom's cart for the bike. I scanned MY items first including a pack of Skittles that my toddler asked for. While scanning the worker stood over me the whole time. She even took the Skittles that I had scanned and gave to my daughter out my child's hand. I asked her if there was a reason why she was standing over me and she then ask " Did you scan the bike". I tell her I'm not paying for the bike, my mom is but I haven't started scanning her items because I just finished with mine. I asked to speak with her manager not knowing she would also be racist. She justifies the worker's behavior. My mom asked the manager if they checked receipts at the door for big purchases, which the managers says yes. My mom then stated well there is no reason to stand over us. However if she felt like we were stealing she could notify the workers at the door to check our receipts when we walk out. The manager gives a lame excuse that the worker stands over everyone but while we were checking out a white man and a white couple were also checking out. The worker never once "checked" on them. I normally shop at the Walmart on the East Side of Norman due to the energy being better. However today we ran into this Walmart because it's closer to our homes and we were only grabbing a few things. However I will never spend another dime at this Walmart. I've never stole anything in my life and I don't appreciate being treated like a thief or criminal!!!! read more

I wouldlive to use their on website grocery buying but it doesn't show everything on their shelves that i usually purchase. So it does me no good if i can order everything. It's hard to get around in Walmarts. The isles are so congested with everything or too narrow. You have to hunt someone down to get help and it takes forever. read more

This is a review of the pharmacy. We are between insurances and needed medicine for our son. It turned out that the medicine was going to cost us almost $300. The pharmacist here worked with us to get what we needed on their discount program at a fraction of that cost. While this is a general Wal-mart deal, the pharmacist took great interest in helping us and that was hugely appeciated. read more

My husband went here the other night to get the oil changed in our vehicle. He was told it would be about 30 minutes, so he went and wandered around the store. After 45 minutes he headed back over to the auto department. Finally someone who worked there asked if he was waiting for his car and he told them "yes" and what car he brought in, and they said, "Oh, we didn't have a filter for that. You can go to O'Reilly's and get one and bring it back, but we close in 15 minutes." What the heck??!! Were they going to call him and tell him this or, more likely, they were just gonna wait until it was almost time to close so they wouldn't have to work on our car. This is a review of the order on-line and pick up items at the store feature. I ordered multiples (8 each) of 2 small items (a reorder) on Thursday afternoon, 2/1, on Walmart.com. I specifically checked the "pick up at store" box so that I could pick it up in the closest superstore to save on shipping and it gave me a date 2/5 to pick it up. Of course, Walmart.com had my credit card charged for the order within an hour of placing it. When I checked on the order on Walmart.com last night (2/4) it said that it was "delivered on 2/3". When I went to pick it up today (2/5) at the Walmart Superstore at 333 North Interstate Drive in Norman, OK, after a 25 minute wait, they couldn't find the order by the order number, my phone number or my name and gave me a number to call. Now they are saying it will be 2/6 or 2/7 before it is delivered to my house and cannot give me any reason for the delay or the shipping screw-up. The operator also said the Walmart.com website is also showing the delivery dates of 2/3 and 2/5. In the past this reorder was delivered to my house within 2 days but my neighborhood is having a rash of packages disappearing off of porches so I decided to get it at the drive-thru instead of risking losing the whole box. read more
