I have lived near to this Walmart for five years, and shopped there very regularly. This is a very standard -- huge array of items, decent prices, and always busy. I've gotten grocery pick ups more times than I can count, and only had two instances where there was a heavy delay due to this getting backed up with too many people. Overall, this has been a very smooth experience. I've also asked for help and having cabinets unlocked, etc., several times, and only had one instance where this took quite a while /much longer than it should. There is almost always a great selection of all the produce that I want here! I have gotten mediocre produce a couple times in my pick up orders, so I prefer to pick out myself in store. Leads me into my next point, The workers are incompetent, closed off, ignorant & unhelpful. Took 20 minutes for me to chase someone down and have them find me the item & isle locations, that aren't marked btw. They're a multi-billion dollar corporation and your POS systems don't have Apple pay in 2024, i know 3-employee small businesses that have the shit. What a train wreck of a "super (terrible) center". Surprisingly, we came here after the Walmart at 180th and Center --which is huge -- didn't have what we wanted. Simple fabric protector, like ScotchGard. Something you would think would be everywhere. It used to be! Now we've had trouble finding it. Anyway, this Walmart has it. And this isn't the first time we had to come here after other stores didn't have what we wanted. We just need to get in the habit of coming here first. It's out of the way for us, but it's worth it to not have to go from store to store, only to end up here anyway. read more

This Walmart was worse than normal, filthy aisles and products in disarray. We finished what we needed to do and purchased groceries and home goods. One checkout lane open and redirected to the self checkout lane. When leaving my partner went to Customer Service and asked about buying a roll of quarters. Upon approach there were four employees lazing against a wall and a young woman manning the counter. When asked about the quarters she went to speak but a surly middle aged woman in the group lazing against the wall interrupted her by barking that Walmart doesn't sell change anymore. When asked why she said "because we get charged interest." When asked where one might buy quarters she snarled "at the bank." This condescending and wholly inappropriate behavior topped off the visit in the manner expected given the condition of the store itself. We went to HyVee and found a spotless, well stocked and nicely appointed market. It was also interesting to see that prices were lower on certain items such as pistachios. Customer service there was impeccable and my partner was able to get the change for the hotel laundry with a smile from the rep. Quite frankly I'd recommend driving anywhere and shopping elsewhere as opposed to using the Walmart for anything but the most compelling and urgent need. It's truly a mess and seems to be a mess as a result of the caliber of team hired to staff it. It is WalMart thought and they have truly stopped caring about their customers. read more

I have had terrible, rude, customer service lately. First with the local WM pharmacist who filled my prescription wrong and then told me I needed to buy a pill splitter and cut my Time Released medication to the correct dosage and then today I called their customer service number and spoke to Erica about WM canceling my order because it was too large, therefore deemed "suspicious"! No apology for inconvenience, she told me I had to just order a few items each day to get everything!! I tried to explain that I was furnishing a new home and needed everything Now but she didn't offer any other solution. I said "I can't believe you are doing this to me" ("you" meaning WM, of course) and she snapped at me "I'M not doing Anything to you!" Unbelievable! I found everything at Amazon, they let me order it all in one order, and they were polite, like they wanted/appreciated my business! No wonder they are outranking Walmart! I didn't know that but now I do and want others to know. read more

This Walmart has really fallen off. 4 years ago I wrote a glowing review on google maps but that review is no longer representative of the quality of this location. I'm a weekly user of the pick up service, but have recently switched to the Walmart on Center. The pick up here seems constantly overwhelmed and I'll have to wait quite a while for my food to be delivered to my car (on one instance over an hour). Not the case at the other location. If you do go inside they're constantly out of the items I want and frequently don't have the selection of items I'm looking for. The checkout is also a nightmare, it's a frequent occurrence that I'll spend more time waiting for one of the 8!! open self-checkout lanes to free up than I did actually shopping... again, this isn't an issue at the Center Walmart location. ...this review is the culmination of months of frustration. read more

Shelves are never stocked. The customer service representatives are some of the worst customer service people to deal with in Omaha. The employees here are rude, lazy, and genuinely don't give a damn about their job, let alone customers in general. When confronting them about simple issues such as where an item is or why it's never been stocked for weeks, they don't even stop walking or doing what they're doing to speak to you. Then they brush it off, using the excuse for literally any problem "corona has really hurt us this is just how it is". The manager Hector, is the worst with this. The few times Hector is in the store, he disregards any misbehavior by his staff, and in fact is one of the people who doesn't even have the decency to stop what he's doing for 1 minute to have a conversation with a guest. Corporate claims they'll handle these issues, even after giving a name for a complaint to hear back on. Cooperate also claims that this constant behavior by staff is "not up to their standards" yet nothing gets handled. At this location the behavior, attitude and work ethic has gone straight down the toilet. Because they know they can get away with it here. Highly suggest another location, if there is a problem here they won't handle it anyway. read more

Tonight on February 11, 2023 my fiancé went in to buy a flashlight. He was accused by a short lady for stealing because he is black. He was made to turn out all of his pockets because the proof of his receipt wasn't enough for the two items he bought (a non-alcoholic drink and a flashlight). It's ridiculous that he has to deal with this. Especially when she didn't even check other people's receipts. read more

Update: upon returning to Walmart I have realized that the fish in the pet section are very poorly cared for. I understand that this is Walmart, so I don't have high expectations. But if a store is going to stock live animals of any kind, the very least they can do is dispose of any dead fish in a reasonable time frame. I have pictures and videos dating back over a month of fish carcasses and skeletons being picked at and eaten by other tankmates. This is downright abusive towards the living fish, as well as the ones that died. I've spoken to at least two managers, and both assured me that they would speak to the department manager and the issue would be resolved. But that still hasn't happened. read more

I was shopping on Saturday evening in your store and I was looking for an item and an employee was walking by so i tried to stop her and ask her a question and she didn't even stop she just said i am not on the clock and kept walking. I was floored by this behavior as she was an older lady, not a younger kid. I also work in retail and we pride ourselves on customer service and if I did that to a customer even while I was not clocked in I would probably be reprimanded for this. I have had this happen before in Walmart it is just terrible that the customer service is so bad that it truly makes me want to shop elsewhere and pay more. Also this same evening we were parked on one end of the store and apparently at a certain time of night they close the doors so they cannot be opened any longer. So it was 10:03 pm and we were told (us and several other checking out at the time) that we would have to go to the other end of the store to exit and then proceed to our cars now parked on the other end of the lot. It would be nice if there was an announcement that the doors were gonna close are at least a sign at what time they are gonna actually close so people are aware of it. OR if they would of had check out's open by the door that closed, we could have just checked out and been out before 10. But that was the other thing, even the self check outs were closed on that end before the doors were closed. It is just frustrating when you go to a place of retail and it is like no one cares if you are there or if they have a job or not. Also none of the employees like to even try to help the customers. Don't go to this location if you're black, unfortunately I have to come to this location because it's the nearest one. I've been racially profiled not once, but 3x. The first time it was by an Asian lady who accused me of trying to steal items in the self checkout. Today 09/18/2020 I was racially profiled by a white woman with a thick Russian type accent. My fiancé and I was purchasing an alcoholic beverage and as we were at the checkout he realized we forgot to grab a chaser for our liquor. Once he left to grab our chaser, she immediately asked where did he go and assumed he left because he didn't have his ID. I explained to her that he isn't finish shopping and he does have his ID. She then went on and about how she could get in trouble because she's not American, as if we asked and cared about that. I told her multiple times that he has his ID and she kept cutting me off as I spoke. Then she said that's not the first time my fiancé did something like that, to me it sounds as if she thinks all black men look alike because he never did anything like that. This Walmart isn't as ghetto as some others I've seen. Mike (the front end or assistant manager?) took care of a customer service issue I had and went out of his way to make it right in the middle of Black Friday chaos. I really appreciated it. I like this location compared to the others. And forget about the Irvington location, that place is uber-ghetto. A lot of times the employees have no clue where things are, or say they don't have something and then you find it 5 minutes later on another aisle. You'd think the person stocking her department would know where things were in it, but I guess not. Some of the cashiers are awesome and others are total idiots. A Dr. called in a Rx for me today to this pharmacy. After several hours of not hearing from them that my prescription is ready, I called the pharmacy, I am told Walmart pharmacy does not carry the item in store or are able to bill this out. However, they didn't bother to call me or the Dr. to let them know this when they were asked to fill the perscription. It is now 5pm, the Dr. office is closed, and I'm scrambling trying to find this prescription that I need for a procedure I had done today. I am not giving one star due to I have had fair service there before. WARNING about the Pharmacy - count your meds in front of them BEFORE you leave. I filled a prescription and picked it up today First off, they tried to charge me almost 240.00 on a 30 day prescription I filled last month for about 63.00. When questioned if it was for 30 days, they said yes, prices went up. I pointed out I filled it just last month for around 64.00 and was about ready to walk away leaving it. They looked at their computer and with no protest at all told me they could fill it 'this one time' for what I paid last month. Knowing retail, they would never have so quickly made such a massive adjustment unless they screwed it up to begin with. When I got home, my over priced 30 day prescription only had 28 pills in the bottle. Update: I have followed up today with several WalMarts (including this one) and was given the around 63.00 price for the 30 day supply. Manager was not available to bring to their attention. Be very careful about this location. Now can drop to one star as the person on the phone offered no explanation for the massive difference in price or why my prescription was shorted. read more

Went in to find a battery for my fit-bit, but electronics was out of them. Electronics guy scans it and then points me towards jewelry, saying watches had a greater supply of batteries. Got to jewelry and nobody was around, at 1:15, not even another employee to wave down. Finally found their meager supply of watch batteries (no, they did not have more than electronics) and my battery was sold out there also. I left buying nothing. WalMart is WalMart. Fail. read more

This review goes to "TIRE & LUBE" I went to in for a oil change and they took care of me they made it clear they feel the customer is always right some parts I feel like I was being a pain but they made it clear to ask any question I had and concerns. I left and couple days later I noticed a oil leak so I rushed over again to see what was going on they didn't notice it when changing oil but gladly took care of it right away it was a gasket they changed it out no worries so I ended up going on my way well the oil leak was still there but as I own a German car, Volkswagen it took a double gasket and they had to check it out again they took care of it no worries and after that they gave me a gift card for my troubles they were always calm with me and always made it seem I wasn't being a problem for worrying. THANKS TO THIS SERVICE I WILL BE COMING BACK! read more

Terrible, absolutely terrible. The only upside to this Wal Mart is that it is in a nicer area of the city, so you will not encounter as many rough looking characters as other Wal Marts, but this particular store is absolutely dreadful on multiple fronts. I've been in this Wal Mart several times, and each time something negative happens, usually it involves being harassed by an employee. I have talked to many vendors that work in that store on their routes, and they all seem to agree that this is the single worst Wal Mart in Omaha, and that it is the poster child of all the complaints that people have about Wal Mart. Poor customer service, terrible stocking, product placement on the shelves that make little to no sense, like a product will be in a bizarre place, extremely rude employees, if you ever happen to run into them, and finally management really doesn't care about your questions or concerns as a customer. I'll sum up my review in one story. I wanted a box of crackers that was provided by a vendor, and I was told by a manager that they were in the back, but due to new rules vendors had to leave the store by 7am, thus they were kicked out of the store before being able to put it out. SHE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO HAVE THE PRODUCT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS IN THE BACK. Before you go thinking that only that vending companies employees can touch that product, that is not at all the case. This was confirmed to me by the said vendor, who said it was by far the strangest thing he's ever heard uttered by a Wal Mart employee. read more

Was racially profiled exiting store. Was pounced on attempting to leave store by a white lady who wanted to check my receipt. Have been stopped in other Wal-Mart stores once in a blue moon, but have never had an issue with it since they were checking everybody - black, white, brown, everybody equally. But at this particular Wal-Mart, I watched numerous white people leave the store without being stopped before I attempted to leave since I was checking out at the self-checkouts close to the entry/exits. Complained to Assistant Store Manager who said "technically, they (the receipt checkers) are supposed to check ALL receipts of customers exiting the store." Sooo...he's admitting she singled me out. And from what I could tell, the only thing distinguishing me from the customers who were left alone was they're white and I'm black. read more

i am from arkansas and your store is one of the worst i have been shopping. i am in omaha every month and you are continually out of things, and i don't know who services your self checkout machines, but almost everytime i use them something goes wrong! just left your store and you were out of another item i was looking for, even after i checked on my iphone that you had it. this is the second time in two weeks you did not have what i needed. then when i went to check out at the self checkout, the first machine went viral on me, then when i was done using the second machine, it ate my receipt. had 2--of your mangers try and retrieve it, but the machine had made mulch out of it. they continually asked me if i really needed a receipt, as if i was putting them out, and i said i not only could not find things i needed, but 20--minutes waiting for someone to get me a receipt was ridiculous. yes i do want my receipt. maybe you need a new store manager to make sure your employees,and your machines are in proper working order!!!! i only shop walmart, but will change store in omaha from now on. thank you for waisting my time, and the service you have given me!!!! i will respond to walmarts main office in bentonville about this also!! you are an insult to the walmart name!!! read more
