I was traveling for work and ordered an iPad from Amazon. The delivery driver stole it. After fighting to get a refund, I saw that they were on sale at Wamart. Not having a car, and no longer trusting delivery drivers, I Ubered to the Walmart to pick that up along with a few other items. The sale price was only available online. I spoke with the clerk in electronics, who was the ONLY person to show any compassion, but he was unable to price match. I spoke with the on duty manager at the front. She could not be bothered, and repeatedly told me there was nothing she could do, she could not match the price. I explained my previous situation, that I already had one stolen, I was traveling, I didn't have a car, and she was unbothered. So I asked, can I buy it online right now and pick it up now, while I'm here? She told me no, I could only pick it up during the pick up window which was 4 hours away. Signed in at 11am this morning for a battery change. Did my shopping car still not done there are 9 people in the shop part standing around on phones, chatting oblivious to customers. While in town for work I needed some odds and ends for my hotel and decided to swing in here. The parking lot is a mess, people are parked in 2 spots, there's trash strewn about all over the place. Inside the store was a lot cleaner but unorganized and confusing. The shelves are missing tons of things and the food thats there is pushed back or knocked over. The store installed a bunch of self check out isles and they all seemed to be a mess. People needed help nonstop and it probably took 10 mins to finally be able to check out because all the issues people were having. The area around the self check out is an absolute mess. No bags in some spots or just bags smashed up on the ground. The lady that was working the area was nice but you could tell she was overwhelmed. The only good thing I have to say is the fruit I got was fresh. I do not plan on coming back if I can help it. read more

I was in the store this morning to do an equal exchange of a product. There were several associates around and the Customer Service area was lit up. I walked up and asked an associate if I could exchange my product, and without even looking up, she stated that Customer Service was opened at 8:00am. I asked if there was another way to exchange this simple product, but she repeated what she said, of course with an attitude. I asked for a manager, considering I have done a simple exchange before without Customer Service. The manager came with an annoyed look on her face as if I as disrupting her day. She addressed me with the same attitude as the associate and I kindly reminded her of the importance of the delivery of information. Yes, everyone has bad days, but the attitude was just unreal. This rating is for something that Walmart does that absolutely drives me crazy. I will order something online for pickup or delivery and they immediately, within nanoseconds, take the money out of my account, and the merchandise that was supposed to be in stock isn't, or it will get to my home way later than the original delivery date. And then when it's time to get a refund, it takes about a week or longer to go back into my account, but yet they can withdraw my funds in an instant for merchandise that isn't even in stock. Fom now on I am only shopping with cash at Walmart. They won't be able to track me and if I want a refund, they can't use any excuse other than to give me cash back. Honestly, if I had another option I wouldn't even shop at Walmart any more. Guess I will really have to check out my options because I'm tired of it. I'm comparing this against other Walmarts, not more high-end grocery chains, and it comes out looking relatively good. A couple years ago my husband and I went to this Walmart, experienced the clientele, and decided never to return. Even though I'm incredibly stingy, even I couldn't be tempted by their low prices to brave the people who would probably do quite well stirring up drama in a reality tv show. So what actually possessed us to return? I like to walk and since I am a crazy mosquito magnet, it has to be indoors. Every reasonable business was closed, so off to Walmart we went. (My husband maintains it is better just to walk me then have to deal with me at home when I need to move.) Since we were there at 9 p.m. on a holiday, it was reasonably empty. If you take people out of the equation, this place isn't that bad. It literally has everything. I was doing some price comparison on vitamins and Walmart knocks everyone else out of the water! They have a liquor store (not connected, but it's only a couple feet away). They even had my husband's favorite movie theater snack - snowcaps. (I had to drag him away because they were only $.98). In the back of the food section, there were a ton of carts with boxes on them. Great for playing hide and go seek, not wonderful for maintaining a clean look in a store. It didn't bother me too much, but you will definitely have to maneuver around some giant boxes. When this place is busy, it is definitely not worth the hassle. Yet I just learned that if you try to avoid the masses, this place isn't half that bad, which is why I'm giving it an A-OK. read more

The power protein bars are the same as Publix, not cheaper ,there are very few less expensive items, I've been going 20 plus years .. Publix at least has buy and get one free. On 4/17/2022 at 9:37 I was at terminal 262885039 to check out. A customer ahead of me had a raw chicken on the counter which leaked blood. The cashier wiped it with a paper towel and no disinfectant what so ever. When a couple of us asked her to use some she said she had none, had asked for it, but hadn't gotten any. As another employee walked by, we asked her to find some which she did right away and wiped down the counter. The cashier was actually combative with us because we asked, even though it was all so unsanitary. She also acted surprised there was disinfectant then angry because we asked someone else for it. When asking for an estimated time for the first 90 min all they could tell me was "I was next" I keep asking, would respond they're on the 2nd tire, so on can't give me a time! He had it available for $199. Right there i called Walmart, those price of $119 sealed the deal. The weird part was- if i wouldn't let them have my old battery, i will have to pay $12 more (?). There are numerous carts lined up, all stating 'out of order' while needy customers find it necessary to follow users out of the store to get their carts. In an area with as many elderly and disabled persons they should provide the facilities necessary for them to do their shopping. I have shoped here twice a week over many years for groceries, household goods and personal care products. This for convenience, value, and the exercise. Auto care services my car while i shop. Pharmacy is a good value here, but its an hour or more to get my occasional prescriptions filled. Retail staff is cheerful, and helpful which is important, because the store is huge. Produce, meats, poultry, and bakery items are reliably fresh. Fruit is abundance and rarely disappoints. I especially like fresh beef and pork that is packaged sliced, cut up, and cubed for convienient preparation at home. Frozen vegetables do not spoil in my refrigerator. They are a real value as they as good as fresh when steamed or microwaved in the package. The isles and rest rooms are generally in good order, which is amazing as there are tens of thousands (no kidding) that shop here every day. Stock-outs and occasional staff shortages have appeared as a matter of course since the Covid has been with us. Recent remodeling has brightened the store and added to the self-checkout I normally prefer to use. But some days, I like to have a cashier do the work! read more
