I've been going to this Walmart For many of years. I recently was completely traumatized two days before Christmas and will never go back there again. For the last 4 1/2 years, my kids, grandmother sends the money for Christmas and their birthdays from California. I went two days before Christmas to go pick up money that she sent for them. The lady asked me why she is sending the money. I told her that their father has schizophrenia and she kind of steps in and is there for my kids for him. After I told her that she accused me of laundering money and told me to leave immediately. I was completely shocked. And asked if I could talk to a manager because I'm not sure what's going on. The manager was talking to the CSR and then came over to me and didn't even listen to me and yelled at me and told me to get out. I left and cried in my car for a good hour and a half and will never go back there again. I called Corporate and told them what was going on and they apologize and said I could go to another Walmart to pick up the money.(which I did) They also said the store manager would call me to get more details and that person never called me My first job was at that Walmart I can't believe that this happened I can't help but think that this happened because my kids grandmother's name is Zee Thao Seems like customer service may be very discriminating read more

Walmart super center plainwell Michigan. 412 oaks crossing 49080 Literally just had the worst experience at Walmart in plainwell I've ever had. When we went to return some unused unopened pet supplies without a receipt we were only asking for store credit so we could get milk eggs bread. They told me that they no longer do that when their return policy was on the counter stating that they do so a manager came up named Rose. She was instantly rude, dismissive and condescending saying that returns are at the manager's discretion when it clearly said it's at the system's discretion whether the system accepts the return or not. Not once did we raise our voice we were simply asking her questions about the return policy and why she was telling us something different than what the policy stated was. She asked us to leave and never returned to the store on what grounds did she kick us out of the store she had no right. We went back to get her name and she had the nerve to be standing in a circle with a group of employees laughing about us. Corporate has been called in formal complaint has been filed. I feel discriminated against, harassed and I'm completely appalled. I'm literally shaking I'm so upset I've been shopping there for 15 years my pharmacy is there and now I can't return because I was simply asking questions. One star because negative wasn't an option. Made appointment for oil change get there tell me they are out of the oil I need but if I go buy it they will do oil change. Go by it at auto parts store after 1 1/2 hours go back to see what taking so long they tell me they can't do it as they don't have a filter. Didn't bother to text me as soon as they knew that. Then the manager of the area is rude. Never going to that store for anything again. read more

4 times in a row they failed to make delivery time slot of two hours, and delivery period two of the four times. Never again

They stole money from me. I got an E-Gift card through Capital One Shopping worth $56 for Walmart. The cashier had to get help to ring it up because she was poorly trained. Instead of subtracting the amount I owed; it added the $56 dollars so I owed more. They cancelled the obviously wrong transaction and scanned all my items again. The manager now was "helping" and now all of a sudden the gift card only had 0.03 cents on it. Well duh, they already used it wrong. The woman manager said there was nothing they could do about it which I replied, "That's bulls--t." because it is. They easily could have taken the $56 dollars off. That manager should be fired. Absoulute incompetence and zero common sense along with terrible customer service. They were 100% in the wrong. I left my cart of stuff with them and Walmart wonders why they keep closing stores down. I sincerely hope this store eventually shuts down as I will never go there again. And that's how Walmart stole $56 dollars from me. read more

I'm canceling my WalMart plus membership because I've NEVER been so let down with a customer service experience than I have with this WalMart. Rose, their so called "team leader" of their front end is in no way fit for a leader position. A leader is someone that is supposed to lead by example. The example she puts forward is lazily doing her "job" and when a customer asks for help instead of actually helping them, she pretends to help and then later accuses the customer of stealing but when she is addressed publicly she hides behind policy. We all know that policies are in place to profile and catch thieves stealing high dollar items that the store will lose money on, not grandmas with their granddaughters buying produce and $1 pillows. WalMart should do the right thing and consider letting Rose go because she is simply dragging their name more through the mud than it already has been. Do yourself a favor before you or your loved one is being accused of theft the day after Christmas, shop anywhere else but WalMart. read more

I come here at least 3 times a week. I have employees go out of there way to help me find things that are out on the shelves. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because for the last year they have never had enough cashiers on hand. The lines are always long & there are barely any lanes open. Even on the weekends. I've complained before but hasn't gotten any better read more

I have never seen a huge market store like Plainwell Otsego Walmart, to where they are always out of stock. I call it a store that has everything but what you want. Poor management. read more
