I was looking to purchase some pokemon cards, which are rarely in stock…read more Surprisingly there were two boxes in stock on the very bottom shelf shoved toward the back. I noticed the one box was completely ripped open on the side and two packs of cards had been stolen from it, so I thought I would bring it to the customer service desk to make them aware people were stealing the cards. The other box was the same as the first and had been partially opened on the side, as if the thief was going to open it and steal packs from it too but didn't get to it all the way. I planned on purchasing the second one at the customer service desk since it had not been opened all the way and nothing was taken from inside the box. The lady at the customer service counter immediately took the obviously opened box from me as they of course could not sell it anymore, which I expected. So as I put the second (slightly opened) box onto the counter to purchase she proceeded to over inspect it and say the thief had stolen from that box as well. When clearly it wasn't even ripped open all the way and nothing had been taken from it. She frantically called her manager and told me he would not allow her to sell either one of them to me. I understand not being able to purchase the first box because it had been deliberately ripped open and two packs were clearly taken from it but the second box was still in good enough condition to sell with all the product still inside the box. But I was not allowed to purchase it due to "legal reasons". I thought this was ridiculous. The customer service representative rushed through the interaction, somewhat misunderstood the situation and over reacted, in turn losing a sale for her store and me a chance for new cards for my son. Needless to say I was pretty bummed out because it was the first time in months I had found any new pokemon product in stock at this location. I understand retail can be difficult and demanding for employees, but customers should leave the customer service department feeling like their concerns have been heard and their issues have been addressed, at least in some way. Especially when the customer is trying to do the right thing. Please do better in the trading card area with security and such, as well as patience and understanding with customer issues. Thank you

I've been going to this Walmart For many of years. I…read morerecently was completely traumatized two days before Christmas and will never go back there again. For the last 4 1/2 years, my kids, grandmother sends the money for Christmas and their birthdays from California. I went two days before Christmas to go pick up money that she sent for them. The lady asked me why she is sending the money. I told her that their father has schizophrenia and she kind of steps in and is there for my kids for him. After I told her that she accused me of laundering money and told me to leave immediately. I was completely shocked. And asked if I could talk to a manager because I'm not sure what's going on. The manager was talking to the CSR and then came over to me and didn't even listen to me and yelled at me and told me to get out. I left and cried in my car for a good hour and a half and will never go back there again. I called Corporate and told them what was going on and they apologize and said I could go to another Walmart to pick up the money.(which I did) They also said the store manager would call me to get more details and that person never called me My first job was at that Walmart I can't believe that this happened I can't help but think that this happened because my kids grandmother's name is Zee Thao Seems like customer service may be very discriminating

When we went to return some unused unopened pet supplies without a receipt we were only asking for store credit so we could get milk eggs bread. They told me that they no longer do that when their return policy was on the counter stating that they do so a manager came up named Rose. She was instantly rude, dismissive and condescending saying that returns are at the manager's discretion when it clearly said it's at the system's discretion whether the system accepts the return or not. Not once did we raise our voice we were simply asking her questions about the return policy and why she was telling us something different than what the policy stated was. She asked us to leave and never returned to the store on what grounds did she kick us out of the store she had no right. We went back to get her name and she had the nerve to be standing in a circle with a group of employees laughing about us. Corporate has been called in formal complaint has been filed. I feel discriminated against, harassed and I'm completely appalled. I'm literally shaking I'm so upset I've been shopping there for 15 years my pharmacy is there and now I can't return because I was simply asking questions. Do not shop at Walmart in plainwell discriminatory management, terrible customer service and unfair treatment.

They have a positively byzantine set of menu options that will drive you into the ground if no menu option meets your need. At no time was I offered the option of speaking to a real person -- even when I hit operator, * and # keys. The only way to get through to a real person is to spend too much time searching online for hacks on how to do it.. I *was* going to be a new customer, but decided not to based solely on this huge problem. Obviously, CVS has enough customers to be able to afford not to care.
