The location is good. Usually pretty clean. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Has a McDonald's inside too. Cheap groceries but make sure you check the best if used by date. read more

Their pharmacy is great!!! Even when my doctor's office messes up a prescription repeatedly, they straighten everything out quickly and get me my meds correctly every time. The staff is very professional and helpful, and that's why I have kept them as my pharmacy for many years. read more

By all means never use their Pickup service!!! Mine was suppose to be ready between 5-6! Not even close. What's the point of offering this service if I could have went in to pick out my own groceries during the amount of time I waited for my "Pickup," order! read more

VERY BAD experience because of an employee's lack of education. Mikahel, with "K", in charge of the 'Scan and Go" machines at the moment of the controversial situation. Making judicious arguments about us, in front of other consumers. A situation we have never experienced in any other place. He didn't even give us an excuse for his behavior when his manager told him that he was wrong. We will not return to this Walmart unless it is for an emergency and we will spread the word about this, including in legal terms. read more

PROS: Totally remodeled few years ago (*coincidentally* w/i mos. after I ripped them a new one in written feedback to corporate after I couldn't find a single cart each of 3 visits across multiple mos. on diff. days of week & times of day, e.g. all "'excuses'" re. "'unusual'" traffic, technical difficulties, employee, supervisor, etc. are no longer valid ;) ) as prolly one of the few flagship stores in north Texas. CONs: TERRIBLE experience trying to purchase an assembled grill featured on display out front. "'Hashtag'"s: "And the Hits Just Keep on Comin'", "Hour of my life I'll never get back.". Replaced commercial toilet seat in mens room w/ cheap plastic one too low to keep my overhanging yet normal 16% body fat thigh from touching rim to save a few $'s (out of *mils*)!?! So here it goes: Unlike another store (at 4101 Hwy 121, Bedford, TX), the store I went to (at 425 Coit Rd, Plano, TX) had their assembled grills on display by the non-grocery entrance (vs. Garden Center) which was far from both G.C. and Customer Service on opposite ends. I chose C.S. (since that was the process to get a grill at Target and also since I expect the "C.S." to be exactly that, e.g. be able to help or *get* help for anything re. the store). I said to the C.S. rep "How do I purchase one of the grills on display out front?" to which she had no clue. After I repeated myself and more confusion from rep., she finally said that I'd have to go to the G.C. (on the *other* end of store) because she didn't have bar code. That begs the q.'s why she couldn't: a) look it up in the system (and/or was not trained to and/or didn't think of it), b) call* the G.C. to get the bar code read to her and/or c) call *any* other available rep to go read it off the grill itself?!??? In the G.C., there was no rep to be found. I had to chase down the lone rep who had left the register (with no backup) to go into the parking lot to mess with some price tags on fertilizer, etc.!?! Then when I repeated the same q., he *also* seemed confused at first, and then said he had to go *call* someone!?! That meant I had to walk *all* the way *back* through the hot/muggy parking lot and outdoor part of the G.C. to the G.C. register and *wait* for him to call someone *which* took ~10 min. before he could even reach someone!?! Then it took *another* ~10 min. before someone showed up who *again* was not familiar with the process!?! When he asked for assistance, the G.C. rep said he couldn't leave his post (now?), but *fortunately* they were able to *draft* what looked like some janitor who just *happened* to be nearby!?! When I asked G.C. rep if I could pay first before I pickup the grill, he said *he* didn't have the bar code (either)!?! So, I'd have to walk *back* 1/2 way across the store out to the grills display and walk *back* *again* to with the grill, so he could get the bar code!?! Again, that begs the q.'s why he couldn't: a) look it up in the system (and/or was not trained to and/or didn't think of it), b) look it up on a cheat-sheet (since it's *his* G.C.'s product not to mention one of only ~2-3 models on display), c) have me just *describe* the model, so the 2 guys can get it w/o me walking all the way there and back and/or d) have the guys just *write* or take a phone *pic* of the bar code vs. bringing the grill back?!? When I was with the 2 guys plus a 3rd guy that showed up and offered to help (none of which was familiar with the process), I noticed that the grill I wanted was left open in the rain, and the manual (which was left in it!?!) was soaked, and the only other one didn't have a manual at all (probably stolen cuz it was easy to do cuz, again, it was left in it!?! -outdoors!?!). When I asked the G.C. rep if he could simply write on the receipt that I'm owed an owners manual, he said he couldn't write anything on the receipt, and that he had to call a manager!?! *Again*, he was not able to reach anyone anytime soon, so he asked one of the guys helping me to track down one of 3 managers one of which *fortunately* *happened* to be sitting in the outdoor portion of the G.C. Even that "'manager'" couldn't write anything on the receipt!?! At that point, I decided to return it before I'd even taken delivery which *again* required me to walk *all* the way to the *other* side of the store to C.S. cuz the G.C. rep even though he had no customers waiting couldn't do it even though I'd *just* checked-out *and* hadn't even taken delivery!?! Bought from Target which had: a) a much better process, b) a name brand (Char-Grill vs. Expert Grill) grill with c) better features (stainless steel vs. porcelain-coated burner shields and stainless steel vs. fabric gas lines), d) the *same* 5-yr. warranty on the burner even though they didn't advertise it like the Walmart one did implying it was unusual *and* d) slightly cheaper price ($146.30 after $5 single-purchase coupon exp. 7/27/17 and every-day 5% Target Card disc.) though unassembled. read more

This is probably just any walmart return center, they are the slowest and worst at getting customers in and out. Worth paying more money at target if you ever need to return something. At target I don't have to wait all day to get my money back. read more

I purchased wireless beats on Black Friday w/the extended warranty, for a Christmas present . 2 weeks after my daughter used them they stopped working. After getting the run around from two different walmarts & Asurion (the warranty company) Cody took care of my return!! He was awesome! He acknowledged my purchase was within 90 days and I had my receipt. He also apologized for my experience w/the other stores. read more

As someone who worked at this store for nearly five years before transferring to a much better store, I can tell you that this is a terrible store to work at. During the summer of 2015, I was getting trained at a customer service manager, but the assistant manager in charge of the front end deemed me unworthy of being promoted before I was even fully trained. Yes, I did make a couple of mistakes, but they were relatively minor, and it is almost inevitable that people will make mistakes when they are getting trained for a new position. I appealed this to one of the co-managers, but it took him four weeks to talk with the assistant manager who was responsible for this, by which time that assistant manager was no longer in charge of the front, so the issue was considered moot. I then appealed to the store manager, but he upheld the assistant manager's decision on the same grounds. To make a long story short, I eventually transferred to another store that was willing to take me as a CSM. Things worked out well at that store, and there is a reason: management at my new store gave me a real chance. My story did not end there. Ever since I transferred away from this store, I have shopped there occasionally. Why would I shop there after the way management treated me? To see my former coworkers. There is nothing wrong with that. I did write a review of this store on the store's Facebook page in which I described exactly what happened to me a while back. Then last night (December 8, 2016), I was at this store, and the store manager saw me. He told me to leave the store, and he told me that it was because of the review I wrote on the store's Facebook page. Yes, you read that right: the store manager threw me out because he did not like what I wrote on the store's Facebook page. I will let that speak for itself. I stand by what I wrote, because what I wrote was true. What happened to me was simply an extreme version of the way associates are treated at this store in general. A lot of co-managers and assistant managers at this store are inclined to chew associates out in public with or without provocation, or write associates up for things that are either relatively minor or beyond their control. I even recall one time where one member of management publicly yelled at me for several minutes for doing something another member of management had told me to do. Some of the assistant managers at this actually treat associates with respect, but very few of the decent assistant managers last long. That is 425 Coit Road in Plano. read more

I am giving this location five stars because overall it meets my needs for shopping in the various departments. I do have one suggestion though and that is to get your prices correct. Last week I noticed a large sign at the end of the cooler section advertising Texas Toast for $1.00 a box. I waited while a women in front of me took two boxes and put in her buggy. I then took two boxes and put in my buggy. At the cash register the items rang up at $1.88 each thus an 88 cents overcharge. When I pointed out to the cashier the large sign showing $1 she immediately corrected the price. I noticed the women who had been ahead of me leaving the cheek out counter and I ask he if she was charged correctly for the Texas Toast. A quick look at her cash register tape showed she too was charge $1.88 for each box. She went to the service counter where she was immediately refunded the overcharge. This cannot be a policy of Wal-Mart and has to be sloppy stopping and pricing. Wal-Mart---Could someone please check and re-check the prices on such specials and make sure that the customer is being charge the right price? read more

I generally come here for a quick grocery run or quick peruse through the clearance clothes aisles. At night they lock one of their doors so if you parked at that entrance you'll have to walk to the other one (mind you this Walmart is large so you basically walking from one side of the lot to the other). So I generally never ask for assistance because I never needed it but today I was wanting to check the price of a board game which wasn't labeled in the area area and the shelves were both sparse and disorganized (I know it sounds impossible to have few items and still be disorganized but it happened to be that way!). So unlike Target I never realized they did not have a chalk price station anywhere! So after awhile I decided to ask a worker, although she was nice to try to help she had a large language barrier, she tried to guess what I was trying so say but I just ended up giving up not trying to make her feel anymore awkward so I just played along and said "ok thank you" and just went my way. So in order to JUST check the price I went to the self checkout and noticed another customer doing the same thing, scanning it to check the price. Afterwards after seeing the price I wanted to cancel it. It prompted me to wait for an employee to assist me. Again this was at night when it was busy, so it's quite and this machine keeps saying "please wait for assistance" and I'm looking at the two employees standing right across from me, who (although are changing the receipt paper) looked up to the sound then continued on their business. The other few stations were also prompting for assistance to which they received none although there were customers there...very very not impressed. Again professionalism is a pet peeve of mine when there are customers present. read more
