Absolute TRASH for any kind of assistance. I had to leave a 1 star because it requires something. Been calling for 4 days and I've tried literally every department and no one has picked up after about 50 or so calls. They obviously don't have any managers or if they do they must work from home in the bed. You can get better service calling and talking to someone in India that you can't understand, if that's possible. If I was a manager there I certainly wouldn't let anyone know. Came here to shop with a friend the other day and was quite pleased with the experience, at least as far as Walmarts go anyway. The store is logically laid out, making it easy to find what you're looking for. They may not necessarily have a wide variety of options if you're looking for something specific (like a queen-size pillow, for instance), though they do tend to have it. I'd advise against coming here for printer ink though, since that area is quite disorganized and many items are unavailable (head to Staples for your ink needs). Their grocery section is EXCELLENT and has lots to choose from. Unlike many Walmarts, this one does not suffer from the plight of having tons of unopened boxes just sitting there waiting to refill the shelf, so that was a nice departure from what I've come to expect. The self-checkouts are helpful as well, if a bit awkwardly positioned to allow for lines to build up to use them. I'd definitely return here for a grocery run or if I needed some household items on the cheap. I had the hardest time trying to find one simple item! I asked a young lady wearing a scarf and she just looked at me, then held up her finger and said "manager". I wasn't asking for a manager, just where my item could be found. Then I found a young man and asked him if he could help. The smell of weed was so strong I'm surprised he was standing. Then his response confirmed he was way too high. His response was "I think that's over in the grocery section". It's funny, I was looking for a last minute back to school item. I sincerely doubt it was in the grocery section. So I thanked him, pushed my cart with my other items aside and walked out. When I made my delivery order the site changed two items to "shipping", NOT what I wanted. I am especially disappointed as it is not going to be delivered, according to the Fedex site. went in this afternoon to do some shopping and had one of the employees who looked to be stocking shelves sexually harass and seemed to follow me around the store. i wish i was joking. so uncomfortable as a young woman in my 20s. first approached me in the Latin aisle and said "what's up sexy" and proceeded to ask me "what's up?" over and over again as I ignored and did not make eye contact. we crossed paths again and he would walk right next to me and keep trying to get my attention though I ignored once again. this man does not deserve to have a job. he was about 5'8 with long dreadlocks. had a white vest on. As far as Walmarts go, this is A-OK. I'm more of a shop local (or Target/Costco for household necessities!) girl myself, but this Walmart is so convenient to my house that I find myself here on very rare occasions. It was a savior on one particular day when I needed keys made pronto. They have a DIY key machine that was cheap and it gave me exact duplicates. Last time I had keys made at a Lowe's and they never worked, which was pretty useless. So points to Walmart on that front. While the store is pretty organized, the parking lot is always a mess and there seems to always be a group with a table set up at the door trying to sell you something or getting you to donate to a cause. I even had some kids walk up to me while I was in my car trying to get me to donate to something. That was a huge turnoff. Let's face it, nobody *wants* to go to Walmart. If you're there, it's for a good reason (whereas, I'll go to Target just to sip on my Starbucks and walk around). I can't recommend this Walmart, but it fits the bill if you're in a pinch. read more

Today went to Walmart...you would think with back to school shoppers they would open more lanes...the worst cashier is Tamar. I wonder if she is slow and deliberately makes mistake so customers will leave her lane cause that's what they were doing.. not only does she carry on conversations with other cashiers trying to do their jobs but will only pick items up with 2 fingers so a big box of cereal takes a full minute to scan. I went into this Brook Road location on 7/6/2022 around 8:30 pm. The vending soda machine took my money so I went to the African American women at the manager stand in front of customer service. I explained the machine took my money. She stated there was a number to call to get a refund. I told her I didnt see it. She said it was. So she and and another African American women walk over to the machine and proceeded to be condescending to me by pointing at the sticker and reading aloud what the sticker said. By saying it say "Please call" However the stupid idiots didn't read the rest of the stickers that said "For repairs, please the 800 number. They were so busy being stupid smart butts to me for no reason. How would I know you call a repair number listed for refunds when the sticker doesn't say that. There were idiots and ghetto. There lack of respect and customer service needs work. I hope they read this post. Walmart curbside pickup is amazing. I honestly hate going into any walmart so when I tried to shop online and realized there's no convenience fee and they don't change the prices to compensate their work I was all for it. I picked out what I needed online and was emailed when it was ready I checked in on the app and then just pulled into an orange spot, they brought everything out already bagged, and loaded it in my car. You can choose substitutions if you want or can simply skip an item if it's not in stock. Next time i'll bring some cash to tip the amazing service. read more

Never again!! I went to get my oil changed like always. The little heavy set lady kept helping the new customers that was walking in. After the 4th or 5th person she served I decided to speak up. I asked her why is she servicing these people before me when she know that I have been there the longest. She told me I have to wait because I'm getting an oil change and she will have to go out to my car. I have been coming here for over 10 years to get my oil change and I have never experienced this. Recently started going to this Walmart more often due to me living over in this area now. Surprisingly it is pretty clean and organized compared to how it used to be. The grocery section is where I come usually when I am in the store and it is very well maintained. Some other areas of the store lack in product, but when it comes to grocery shopping it has mostly what I need. I have also used the car center for tire repairs before as well, and that wasn't bad either. The person that worked on my car was friendly and explained what he had done, the person that checked me out was friendly as well. The waiting area that you sit in while waiting for the car has a tv and magazines, typical for a car waiting room area. It was clean and if you asked to turn the channel they would let you. Overall this Walmart has gotten better over the years, years ago I would have driven past this one to go somewhere else, but since it has cleaned up and had a little of a makeover, I don't mind stopping in to do some shopping if I need to. read more

Using Walmart curbside service is a joke! First of all ordered it on to other Walmart sites, said they were in stock, then a day later get a response back that they are not available. This is for a grill.Finally ordered for the Brook Road store and was told it was available for pick up. Arrive there no indication where to park . Ask an associate and was told to go to lawn and garden. Went to lawn and garden and was told I had to go inside the store to get product. Kind of defeats the purpose of curbside. Of course those doors were locked. Went back to the other end and finally someone told me where to park. And that they would be right out. After waiting another 20 minutes while other people were being serviced, asked again. The associate rolled her eyes and said she would see. This Walmart is the worst. Partially because it's bigger then some small towns so it takes you about an hour to find anything in there. Do not go here thinking you can just run in and out if you need just one thing. It doesn't work. Not only that, but it takes forever to check out. I've noticed that most of the people who shop here are brain dead and can not figure out how to pay. Seriously. There is always some issue with the person in the front of the line. Some training in appropriate behavior towards customers and fellow employees is needed, but that isn't something everyone can be trained at.
