I like this place for quick shopping. Everything is easy to find, the store is clean, and staff is always helpful.

I'm in town visiting and this Walmart was nice and well organized with good customer service.

The store closes at 11 not 12 PM like most Walmart. It's not obvious to people who move here. Regardless the way they treat customers at 11 PM when they close is disgusting. You have to self check out, but they will close all the registers, but two to make what should take five minutes take more than 30 why are you wait in line for 20 minutes for a self check out of the two that are open while the two Walmart associates stand there playing with their phone. Whoever the manager is at the store needs to be replaced because this policy does nothing but make the customers angry and it's why I go when I can to Winco. read more

Horrible location, I purchased a pellet gun yesterday, (I looked around for a while there no signs anywhere saying "all sales are final", and no I did mot check their website, receipt says nothing about it nor did the person who verified my age. I took it home realized how loud it was after one pump (no pellet) put it back in the box. I went back to walmart tonight to return it, which is when they said no returns on pellet guns and it was posted. I said maybe I missed it and put the pellet gun and went back to the area where they are. There are no signs any where stating all sales are final. So I videoed the area to back up to the return area, when one of there employees came running up and asked what I was doing. I attempted to explain and shes said "it clearly marked" I asked here where so she begins to search the area, the boxes, the end caps etc and finally says well its state law! I assure you the return of a pellet gun in Texas is mot covered any state law. When I informed of this she states well its Walmart Law? Really Walmart makes law now? Guess I missed that one. I told her Walmart doesn't make law it makes policy. I left and went back to the return area to speak to the CSR that I started with the employee from the back followed me up front and said look its right here, and showed me her phone, so I reviewed my video that I took and guess what the sign was not there 5 minutes ago. I asked to speak to the manager and after waiting for 10 minutes the employee came back and said he didn't want to talk to me. What a coward, when you combine the fact the other employee LIED twice, I will never return to this or any other Walmart, not that they care! Stay away stay away! read more

Since I'm going to be in the car for a while, there are a few more things I need to be comfortable. I found plenty of decent stuff and most of it was in stock with different colors and sizes. I found a decent tshirt that will get worn tomorrow. They had a good selection of drinks including the specific flavor of Bubly that I like. Plenty of different jerky flavors, too. Terrible. Who locks their customers in after spending money? After waiting in line because they refuse to have cashiers they also want to check receipts now. I think not. I live way closer to the Haslet Walmart but often that location is out of the stuff I want and super busy. Saginaw location, however, had all the things I needed, with the exception of kid's 13 size water shoes-but I know they might not be in season yet. I was able to walk inside, find everything with ease and checkout with no issues. The parking lot had plenty of spaces closer to the entrance and everyone was pleasant. By that I mean, I didn't notice anyone in a hurry trying to rush to parking spots and driving too close to pedestrians (like Haslet). I was able to mosey without feeling rushed! I don't mind the drive if it means I will find products and not be stressed out! Great experience. read more

My husband went into the Saginaw Main Street Walmart on Sunday morning and was treated very badly. It took a long time for anyone to come to the counter to wait on him when he could see 3-4 people standing around not doing anything in the back. Then they proceeded to tell him they couldn't help him because he didn't have an appointment. Mind you, again, the place had 1 customer and it was a 5 minute task he was asking them to pop off the tire from a bent rim and install on the new rim he had brought with him. He asked if he could make an appointment and they said they were booked up - again 3-4 people standing around in back and 1 customer. He took it down the street and had it done at a local place and it took 5 minutes. We will not be returning to this walmart for automotive work or anything else. read more

Compared to other Walmarts, this one is not so bad. Trust me, I've been in some BAAAAAD ones, but haven't we all This Walmart actually carries organic cheese and some organic meats. I was very surprised to see that. Walmart wants some of that "organic" money. OK, I'll go for it. The organic meat and cheese here is a lot less than the cost of it at traditional grocery stores. Also, there's not a wide selection of organic meat & cheese choices, but I do appreciate having some selections. Although the organic meat and cheese is priced competitively, most of the organic produce is not. The organic fruit is much more expensive here than traditional grocery stores. Some of the employees are friendly and helpful here. The store has been cleaner than most Walmarts when I've been here - usually early in the morning. I visited the Saginaw Walmart Auto Center on January 15 to have my battery tested. It tested "Good" on all levels, but it had some green powdery acid build-up around the terminal. It was very cold that day and we had had some snow flurries earlier that morning. I am very grateful for Dimas going the extra mile to clean and wire brush away all of the gunk off of both posts! He explained to me everything that he was doing as he was doing it. He apologized for his broken English. I thanked him for coming to our country and for coming to work that day. No need to apologize for being in the process of learning our language! So little care is given to customers at a lot of establishments these days! I bought that battery almost 2 years ago, but Dimas made sure that it will continue to start my car! It has started every time since then! As you can tell, he made quite an impression on me. He even refused a small tip from me. I do appreciate customer service like Dimas gave me, and I will return to this Walmart when I am ready for a new battery! read more

One of the worst Walmart's that I have been in. I was asking for help in the computer section and the gentleman who was working there could not answer the questions and acted as though I was bothering him. He eventually got another employee who also could not answer my questions. After feeling a little frustrated, I continued to shop and noticed how poorly stocked the store was. I got my oil changed here about a month ago on 5/19/23 around 5pm. There was two guys working. It was a Sunday. It was probably the worst service I have had since coming here. Usually I get text message updates on how long when my car is beginning to get worked on and when it's ready for pick up etc.. I ended up waiting an additional 50 minutes, once I got tired of waiting. I went to pick up my car after walking around Walmart, when I arrived the two gentlemen (they looked like kids) that were "cleaning up" laughed when they realized I had waited so long extra to pick up my car. We go to Walmart once a week. Never had an issue but I do have one big issue. Why do I see so many people now who are not wearing mask. We were there yesterday and I saw at least 10 people customers and employees not wearing mask. No one is saying anything. I dont like wearing them either but it is required and again there needs to be someone to say something to these people. One was in line right behind us yesterday. And the cashier didnt say one thing to them. I think you need to mandate this and walk around and if they are not wearing a mask to either put one one or leave. Thank you read more

**********HONEST REVIEW********* If I could give this Walmart 0 stars, I would. Don't expect to be treated with respect or customer service at this store. The manager, Cindy, refused to honor a price that was advertised on the shelf for a product, even after showing her the advertised price. Her response to me was "I'm not honoring that price, it's more than half off" and "take it or leave it". Frankly, it doesn't matter how much the price difference is, the fact that the product is advertised at one price is MORE THAN ENOUGH evidence to allow the manager to adjust the product to that price. In the middle of this encounter, the cashier, Carol, thinks it is appropriate to blatantly laugh at the customer. When the manager told me "take it or leave it", Carol literally laughed out loud, because the manager wouldn't honor the price. If this is what Walmart calls good customer service, they should be ashamed. Cindy, the manager, has no business being a manager if she is going to treat customers with such rude behavior and disrespect. As for Carol, she should be written up for her behavior. Walmart, you need to step up the training you give your associates. I've never had such a negative experience like this in customer service, and I used to work as a cashier. I have attached the photo of the product that was advertised at a wrong price. It CLEARLY shows that Walmart should have honored the advertised price. Be very cautious when ordering a pickup order at this location. I had a pickup order on this day 1-6-22. I went to the app, giving a heads up that I am on my way. Before I reached Walmart to pickup my order, I received a notification thanking me for my pickup and the order was completed. Once I arrive to the Walmart in Saginaw, I called the number on the pickup sign and informed them what just happened. The Walmart associate told a bold face lie. She stated on her side I arrived and she came out and waited 10 minutes. Shen then stated she tried to call as well. I never mark the pickup parking number I was located nor the color and type of car I would have been in. Why would you complete an order if the customer had not received their merchandise? Done using Walmart grocery pick up. I guess you get what you pay for. I pay less for groceries but have to return them so the convenience isn't convenient. My last order I got stale bread and already opened beef broth. This order I got a dried out jar of peanut butter. You could tell just by looking at the outside of the jar that something was wrong with it. I also got lunch meat that is 2 different colors And moldy. Almost looks like the people doing the shopping are digging in the reject bin before going to find your groceries. read more

I've been coming to this Walmart in Saginaw for 5 years never again. Cashier in the electronics department (Brayn) was so rude and i was given the impression i was a bother more than a customer. My credit card bar scan was scratched and instead of manually type in the numbers he made a scene as if I had burden him . I asked him to type in the numbers instead he start talking so loud about me card being declined and i had no money in account . Asked three times finally he called management and asked if they knew how to type in a credit card. He could of said he would have to call the manager instead of the embarrassment he caused me . I blame the management for improper training. So now Winco will be my family store . I hope the share owner's of Walmart see this and understand that leaving people that are not trained properly managment . That customers will talk and by word of mouth it will spread to everybody . I live near this WalMart and have shopped here for almost a year. Thankfully we have found a much better place to shop (see my review on Winco). I have to agree that a lot of things are out of stock much of the time, but even that is not the most annoying thing about shopping here. We have never really noticed it to be excessively clean or dirty. So I guess I would put that in the plus column. The employees, when you can find one, are usually less than helpful. This is even true of the deli. We have walked up to the counter only to be ignored by multiple employees doing whatever was more than important than a paying customer. On more than one occasion the service was bad enough at the deli we took the time to walk up front and complain as the service was that horrible. The prices are nothing to rave about, that is for sure. Yeah, they are cheaper than some of their competitors but not enough to endure horrid customer service. The carts are mostly in disrepair. Finding one that pushes anywhere near smooth is a task in itself. I can't blame the store solely for that. However, they should pay a bit more attention to them as it makes a trip there even worse fighting a cart through the store. I must warn everyone of the parking lot. This is the first place you will notice a sad truth about a majority of the patrons here. People zoom around with no regard for pedestrians and act like you are not supposed to be walking where they want to drive. On the flip side of this coin, some pedestrian meander about like they are in their back yard and are wondering why you would care to drive in their personal space. The parking lot, as bad as it is, is minor to the way people act inside the store. This is not aimed at all the patrons. A good many lack even the simplest social graces. If my wife and I are going down an aisle and we pass in front of someone, we excuse ourselves. We don't just barrel by and act like the other person is crazy for taking a moment to look at their choices to find the item they want. We have had many occasions where braindead patrons stop in the center of the aisle then stand on one side of their cart completely blocking everyone else. They then act offended when you politely ask to go by. I will stop here on this subject as I could write a book on the many different encounters we have had. Finally, the checkouts... I did see another comment here about not enough open. Severe understatement. As for the level of service at the checkout? This has varied from pretty good to "Are you kidding me?" Cashiers are the last chance to WOW a customer. If your checkout experience is good, it tends to nullify a lot of other little things. We have had cashiers put toilet cleaning products in with deli items. Yes, I know they are sealed. Seriously, do you want toilet bowl cleaner in with your $6 a pound meat or cheese? If you do, I will forego a sandwich from your kitchen, thank you. In summary, we won't shop here unless it is something we need that we cannot get at a better place for a comparable price. To the CEO of Walmart: You really have to step up your game or disappear to companies that are willing to provide customer service and good pricing. To the patrons: Act like human beings. I am sure 90% of you go to church. How about utilizing the good will you are supposedly taught there towards all people and stop acting so self entitled. I rarely go to this Walmart for 2 reasons. The first is I need to cross over 2 train tracks and it never fails I get stopped by at least one train each way. The other reason is it is never stocked. I have attempted to food shop here and the never have anything but basics. However it is always clean and the staff are always friendly. read more

I am so sick of the personal shoppers and their huge carts!!! The carts need to be smaller, they need to limit the number and location of them in the store at one time, and teach them respect for the people who drove there to get their own groceries who are not being paid to be there! They block isles and access to products and ignore shoppers around them! I'm also sick of the other brands disappearing and being forced to buy Great Value. It's not a great value! I have not had great experiences here in the past, but when I had to take my son's battery back that was under warranty the automotive department was very helpful. They had to test the batter and called us when this was complete. They would be replacing the battery, but did not have this one in stock. This is my hometown Wal-Mart for the past 7 years. It is clean, but stay away on Sunday when practically all of Saginaw and the surrounding area comes to shop. Lines are 20-30 minutes long!! This Wal-Mart is like many others but it manages to keep a pretty good stockpile of the things I need and want. They even sell appliances now. read more

Hate this location. They never have enough lanes open -- especially on weekdays around 5pm when everyone is getting off work and stopping by on their way home... Prepare to wait a while. The produce isn't fresh, the meat selection sucks, and many times the shelves are not stocked.. Especially on a Monday and Tuesday -- they must get really pillaged on the weekends because there's never anything left - especially not the staples like milk and bread. Waited for 30 minutes just to get checked in to Tire and Lube. The attendant finally came over and said he didn't think they had the filter for my Land Rover. Another 10 minutes and he came back and said "I don't think we have it" I said are you sure "He said let me go check again". These oil and lube guys are idiots ..took my wife's car for a simple oil change and I get it back to her and they turned the auto lights off messed with auto review mirrors that adjust as you reverse. Also the doors would chime when you opened them and now nothing ..do not recommend these guys for oil changes at all...then again shame on me for taking it to Walmart to get anything done right. read more
