Yesterday when I visited Sam's store 4939 the entrance of the store and by the food court those areas were full of trash. That is not appealing to the public and people eating. I asked to talked to the supervisor but she gave me an attitude and mention that there was no one available to clean. read more

The facilities here are new and spacious, unlike others I have been in. (Cannot help but compare it to Costco. I am a member of both.) Much more inventory but pretty much the same prices. Especially kids snacks, party, junk food. Choices are not as many healthy, for instance, organic produce. The quality of fresh foods also seem lower. Purchased honey ham, cheese, not impressed. Though they have the same priced rotisserie chicken for my dog! Same price as Costco. Customer service could use more help, they could use min 3 people stationed there, when one is usually on break. Check outs are quick, and staff there are efficient and fast to assist when on self check out. Club price membership specials start at $20 with offers for upgrades. This location is very convenient, next to main highways, large private parking lot shared with Walmart. The signage is the same color and they blend together, so read carefully before entering, not like my hubby who wandered in looking for me. lol read more

I just got a membership with this company. I have been enjoying the app. as well. I love using the scan and go as it makes my trip so much easier. We also like the way of the layout. Although Sam's has gotten some of new things that are great. A lot of stuff still is very much the same. A lot of the dry foods need to change as well. As well my last recent visit as we we were approaching the door. Of course we get stopped to get our basket checked l. But what upset me was the couple right next to us was told to just go ahead and go. I asked the lady why they didn't get checked she said they didn't have to many items. They had like 7 big items. Before she got to my basket I was honest and told her I have 2 separate tickets. She said ok. When I told her why the couple didn't get scanned she said well because you had two separate tickets, but she didn't know that until after I never told her before I asked her about the couple. I believe she was being racist and she's being rude and to top it all off she scanned one item of my whole basket and said I was good to go after I brought up why she didn't scan the other couple. Its because we were black in Mexican and that couple was white. That couple had like seven or eight big items such as waters and toilet paper and meat and things Why didn't she scan them I don't think I want to return to Sam's if they're gonna have this time working for them. read more

Reading the other reviews - those issues have not been my issue. I utilize the Sam's app so that I NEVER have to interact with cashiers. Scan and Go is the best!!! Wish all my stores used it!! This location has the necessities for my family. The meat department is great. They carry 2-3 grades of meat. Pricing is spot on. Fresh veggies and fruit department is adequate. Carries the usual bagged salads, spinach etc. frozen food section is basic. Wish they carried more variety. Dairy is acceptable. Overall, this store serves our needs. Great location. Easy in and out. This is my usual location whenever I can to a Sam's club. The cashiers are friendly and interactive which I love! They are stocked with everything I need. I like how they carry an assortment of different flavors for my favorite protein shake. The location is clean and the bathrooms are clean as well. I will totally be bringing my business because to this Sam's club! read more

I like to shop at Sam's Club it's always clean and I like the scan part That you can do on your phone. Beats waiting in line but now that the phone doesn't save your card number it's kind of a pain to have to pull it out enter all the information again kind of a bummer. Poor customer service 35 mins in customer service line No consistency last person in line gets help first Only one register open at all times as per manager (stated it's a corporate rule) Shelves not stocked, if you need a basket or a clean one do it your self their model is we only greet and check for receipts and membership cards "this is what you signed up for with exclusive membership" and here I thought I was paying for special discounts and customer service ... time to go back to Costco where membership guarantees service read more

I canceled my membership at Sam's due to their carelessness and poor and egregious operation of the Cafe.  I placed an order for 5 pizzas for a function.  I was on the phone waiting over 21 mins either because they were not answering and at one moment, or they answered the phone and just laid the receiver on the counter WITHOUT saying good morning or please hold. Finally, after 5 mins of holding, the worker picks up the phone to then ask "How may I help you."  I asked why it took so long to answer the phone, the worker asserted one person was taking orders and the other person was cooking, Wow only two workers.  I called Costco on I-35 who IMMEDIATELY answered and my order was placed in less than 1 min.  I then drove to Sam's, spoke to the manager, who didn't correct the problem, she apologized then offered me. $20 Cafe coupon... I declined the coupon and cancelled my membership.  I gave them great business but not anymore!  Even though Sam's on Judson and I-35 is closer, it is definitely worth me driving to Costco.  Here's the irony, my mother, who was with me, told me to go to Costco from the beginning!!!   Kenneth Davison Sr. read more

Managers are awful they want you to upgrade a membership that you've already paid for just to shop before 10 AM when they previously let anybody in at any time. When you call to complain they don't even listen to you because they just want you to waste your money on their products that go bad within a few days anyway. I'm switching to Costco. read more

Negative 5 * Cashier questioned me about purchasing dove soap, asked if I've purchased more then 3 16 count packs since December 27, I said if I purchased that many I wouldn't be here in need of some. They did not want to over write the discount and just directed me to membership services. Manager was very rude and had the worst attitude ever as if she missed breakfast. I ordered my contacts from their optical about 3 weeks ago. I had to wait a little longer because one of my contacts was back ordered. Yesterday my BF picked up my contacts for me and I noticed I could not see out of them. Thinking it was just my eyes and being tired, I waited to put them on again today. I still could not see out of my contacts. I felt like my contacts were mislabeled and so I decided to switch the contacts. Sure enough, I could see. I called Sam's Club to see if they can tell me if they maybe mislabeled my box. When I called, I was put on hold. About 5 mins later, someone else answered. When I was trying to explain what happened, I was rudely interrupted and the lady asked for my date of birth. After giving the rude lady my date of birth, she told me she would call me back later because she was with another customer. I asked the lady if she could help me real quick because I could not see and she said no twice, that she will have to call me later. After having to call my doctor, they confirmed that Sams did mix up my contacts. I called Sams to let them know and the lady who answered said all giggly "I am sorry". There is two of yall working, one of yall could of helped me. They had no issue helping others customers and answering calls when I was there. Sams did not call me till a hour later after my initial phone call. I am a college student, I have timed test and needed to drive. I do not have a whole hour to wait to confirm I was wearing my contacts the right way after SAMS MESSED UP. Went to the deli to get some pizza and a drink the line was long then I see there was only one person working back there EVELYN was working the register get the orders ready and she did it with a smile. Came to buy $250 of gift cards for Xmas here, after they rang me up .The manager Brenda said she will be right back she was going to get my cards.After waiting so long with no update on to what's going on with my cards , I walk up to her and ask where my cards are.She totally ignores me and walks away, I told her excuse me I'm talking to you.She then turns and YELLS at me "We no longer have those gift cards".As if it's my fault they no longer have them , i ask for my money back she says you should see it back on your card in 5-7 business days.I ask for it back in cash, I don't have 5 days why did y'all ring it up if you don't have them.She rudely responds by asking me "Do you want to talk to the head manager".I said yes and what is your name she said Brenda I'm a mss what ever than means idk she refused to give me her last name.I will no longer be back at this sams. read more
