Nearby and I've been shopping there for about 15yrs. Today at quick scan the security guy was right THERE. As I finished and paid he grabbed my cart to ck if I scanned the 2 large items. I did not take out of cart but used the hand held scanner. Again he was right next to me while I scanned my items. I informed him its the first 2 on the receipt. Another time I had an early funeral to attend and ran in for water proof mascara. Saleslady at make up counter was walking away and I asked her to unlock a product and she said rudely she needs to get a coffee and her cash drawer. Walmart super center is my least favorite place in the world. I will go here if I absolutely have to. There's never any lines open and have the longest lines. No one knows anything half of the time or at least this has been my experience in the past. Not a fan. read more

I'm not a Walmart human however since it was nearby where my destination was, I decided to stop in to grab a few items. Easy in and easy out! Easy to locate as this Walmart is not far from the highway. There's Security standing outside in case you're in need of assistance. They also had a final 4 Coca-Cola event going on which I didn't bother to stop and take a shot at. The cashier was nice! I didn't use self check because I'd like to save jobs for humans. After living in Phoenix, Arizona, I was over Walmart, but after relocating to North Scottsdale with my husband and family, we needed some camping gear, so we stopped by this location. As soon as we walked in, we were impressed - the store was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the store. When I went to use the restroom, I was blown away - it was like walking into a fancy restaurant or a nightclub - the designer did an amazing job. My husband and I always frequent this location as we don't get harassed and it's not busy however this morning we were met with the rudest employee I've encountered here. She was an older lady who was checking receipts as we were exiting. She had a long line as she was very chatty and that's fine but for the rest of us who want to get on with our day we don't want to wait. When she didn't like my response she threw my receipt at me and said I was rude! No lady I'm asking u to do your job so I can leave!!!! That's how Walmart work. This Walmart does not have produce and shelves are not always full which what is needed in the grocery section. The store is dirty and customer service is always a slow and a hassle. They always have to call for help for almost everything never enough workers. I wish there was another Walmart in the area. The good thing is the Vision center. This is clean and the service is good. The parking is always full and you will need patience while parking. They have pickup available when you order with the app (best thing ever) . For this service I recommend this location, to go inside not so much for groceries. The electronic department and household section is pretty good as well. Overall still a 2/5. They have a way to go and have decline over the past few months. read more

This Walmart is HUGE but I have seen bigger, as there is another one here in Scottsdale that makes this one look smaller. I am getting acclimated to this one since it is near my work and I like the close proximity. I drove over here because the website said they had clip-on sunglasses and indeed, they do! But I cannot get to them because the vision center is roped off although there's a sign there that says is opens at 9 AM and it's now 11 AM. I asked one of the greeters about it and she stated the obvious, they're closed right now. We saw a young man walking toward us and she said he was the manager and by the time I reached him he turned off and was nowhere to be found. I suggest you change the sign that says you open at 9 AM because clearly, you do not. Very disappointing. I'm off to another store so thanks a lot Walmart! read more

I have shopped this store since it opened. It is the only Walmart that is attractive. I can't recall anything time I had a problem with any part of the location. It has never looked as though customers purposely tore the store apart. Customer service is very good. Infrequently I have been told where to look and wrong. I continue to try and mostly locate. My recollection is getting better help from employees than at any Walmart location. Fresh produce is generally better. I feel there is a better variety of cheeses than all Walmarts shopped. Other locations have more variety but that probably is dictated by demand. At no time was I approached in parking for money or other needs.The lot is well lit. Over the years I have been fortunate with bargains. If memory is accurate I don't recall employees hanging out and smoking near entrances. read more

The Walmart Supercenter offers a typical selection of products you'd expect from the chain. The service reflects that the workers don't seem to care much about their jobs, but considering Walmart's corporate leadership, that's understandable. The store's cleanliness and layout were typical for Walmart, and the atmosphere was a bit nicer than some other locations--if you know what I mean. I had a good experience with a representative named Lay who helped me with my returns. However, my store experience was disappointing! They had bad options for housewares and furnishings, such as lamps and furniture to assemble. The pricing for these unattractive items was higher than you'd pay for much nicer things at Bob's discount store. The person at self check out was snoozing on the job, so I was treated as a potential shop lifter. All I bought was a 13-gallon trash can, one welcome mat, and one cooking utensil holder. They don't have bags big enough for the mats, so I put it in the trash can after scanning and paying. I heard them talking about me on the intercom telling everyone to check the person with the trash can, so 5-6 people glanced at me and my items, and 3-4 people checked my receipt. Lisa , over seeing self check out, was extremely rude , pulled my cart out of my hand to show me how to check out . I'm 40 years old,think I can figure out selfcheck . She was rude in the way she spoke to me and my family, telling me my cart was in the wrong spot asking if I'd even paid for my items. When everyone around me had their cart, it the same place I originally had mine . She had her name tag hidden in her pocket until I asked her what her name was. Was in Scottsdale last week for a Navy Air Traffic Controllers Reunion. Needed a few things from Walmart. I was walking around seemingly lost, when a very nice young lady employee asked if I was looking for something specific. I told her what I was looking for, she then took me to the right location with a huge smile on her face. After I got that product,I was looking for baby aspirin in the pharmacy area. Another male employee who told me he was from NYC helped me find the aspirin. Lastly when I was checking out, a lady who the other's employees call Mom helped me with a terrific demeanor. I would highly recommend this store. My interaction with all the employees I encountered was beyond fantastic. read more

Walmart Pharmacy - 4915 N. Pima Rd. Scottsdale, AZ - I just had left the doctors ofc and went to Walmart to p/up Rx. There are new pharmacy employees. One young male (CJ, BJ, DJ? who knows his name?), acted as if he is the end all be all to the world. He made assumptions, became hostile, intimidating, threatening and made a futile attempt to intimidate me into giving out personal info that had nothing to do with getting my Rx. He just wanted it or else! I said, "I will NOT give that info out to you." He became highly agitated. Come on Walmart, higher better people! He has no customer service skills. People like him cause chaos and make the workplace unpleasant at best, let alone causing an unpleasant experience for customers. read more

I drive several miles to shop at this location because of the customer service. Cheryl a greeter is always pleasant and welcoming. Gramm that attends to the produce is very helpful and never seems to busy to go the extra mile to check on something in the back if it's not available out front. I always tell him how nice he is and I appreciate his kindness. The self checkout employees are helpful/friendly as well. I hope you share this review with those mentioned. Every single time since 2020, there has been a discrepancy between shelf price and register price. Always in walmart's favor. These discrepancies have occurred in every department. The manager today told me rudely I had to come back because "that's what you get for coming in near closing". I was at register 10 minutes before closing waiting for the chatty cashier to do their job and finish with the 1 customer instead of standing there talking to them about something entirely non work related. Now that we're being "encouraged" (forced) to use self check out (unless you don't mind waiting in a very long line for the lone cashier). Today I asked the guy over seeing the self check out area, as he was watching me closely, for some hand sanitizer. Those check out belts & bagging areas are bustling with customers now & usually filthy. He said "sorry we don't have sanitizer." I said we're IN A GROCERY STORE and he just laughed. Walmart made a commitment a few years ago to add more merchandise made in the USA and I continue to be pleased to see that they continue to add items made in the USA. Being a huge retail company everything they do is under a lot of scrutiny. This Walmart, based on my visit, has done a good job creating a clean, well-stocked store with friendly and helpful employees. A couple of interesting notes about my visit. First, because I was only shopping for a couple of items, I asked an employee if they had a hand shopping basket available. She politely replied that when the store opened they has 300 baskets, but every single one of them, all 300 baskets were stolen by customers who apparently thought that the baskets were free for the taking. I realized that anytime I have an issue with a Walmart, such as trash in front of the store or in the parking lot, it's not Walmart's fault, it the result of an inconsiderate customer. Second, when I was looking for a specific item, the helpful employee who assisted me appeared to be an individual with an intellectual disability, which was nice to see that Walmart is giving an opportunity to a person with special needs. Went in to buy a pair of work shoes, when I walked in I was asked if I'd like a mask, key words "asked if I wanted one". When I said no thank you I continued on my way. As I was leaving after buying my shoes, the guy at the door said "thanks for leaving". Employees shouldn't be catching an attitude with a paying customer, especially when the shelves are dry. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. I just wanted to pick up photos - I never got a notification that they were ready after two weeks I gave them a call. I was on bond for 30 min and kept getting the run around until they finally transferred me to the pharmacy instead of photo.
