Ordinarily we really like this store but when I was purchasing a Straight Talk phone card from a nice lady in electronics, the phone guy started saying my Straight Talk iPhone was too expensive and he could sell me Verizon for $30/ mo and a Samsung phone ( model not mentioned) to me for $90. He was brash and insulting. I'd bet the Samsung phone is an older model and I dislike Android phones ( yes I know people that love them.) This guy has no customer service or sales skills and belongs in a job as a carnival barker or selling used cars or better yet not in public contact. Thoroughly obnoxious presentation rather than politely asking " would you mind if I told you that I could sell you Verizon wireless for $30/mo and that includes... etc). Yelling and insulting people and their possessions is beyond crude. Where did Walmart find this guy? He has no knowledge of how well soft selling can work. I now bypass Electronics if I need something and I see him there, Figure I can e order and avoid this unsavory person. Other associates through the store are helpful if I need to locate and item or have a question. Rather sorry Walmart has such an aggressive, insulting and rude person in Electronics or anywhere. I'm an Uber driver. I've been with Uber almost 3 years now I operated in the Bay Area and recently moved up here and started doing deliveries at the Sequim Walmart. I am still 4.98 rated driver with a 95% approval rating driving for Uber is a main provider of my income after becoming disabled three years ago out of nowhere. I started like any other day out to an accepted some Walmart deliveries on the Uber app and started to notice that every time I showed up to pick up the orders the order showed is being canceled at first. It said the customer canceled then the next thing I know it didn't say the customer canceled. It just said the order was canceled as soon as I would check in so after about two days of this, I reached out to Uber only to find out that the store was canceling my orders after I would drive all the way over there and check in. I reached out to the store. I talked to the manager Brianna about the treatment I was receiving from some of the young ladies one of them claimed that I was not delivering the orders and that I had returns. I told her I had no returns. I said I had one return and that was a Person I was delivering alcohol to that never showed to the door, and I told her that I followed the Uber platform procedures to a T and I promptly return the order they on their end took forever to process the return so that Uber got notified so that I could continue my route and deliveries the young women there are hateful and deceitful dishonest and lacking integrity. Anyhow, back to when I called, which was a number of times I finally got out of the store. They finally admitted that they were not able or allowed they said so they say they were not allowed to dispense to me anymore. They would give me no explanation other than they said they were getting complaints. That orders weren't being delivered. I had explained that this was probably a glitch with the AI, but apparently nobody looked into it so I'm assuming there was no glitch all this as I was trying to be nice, possibly let them off the hook for just correcting their behavior a way out if you will, but it was not taken I spoke with the manager or one of the leads in the department who hung up on me and the Call before that I was hung up on as well. I reached out to the headquarters phone number for complaints and this is being escalated. Hoping to hear back from the Walmart corporation to address this issue as I have done nothing wrong.. all the people I deliver to are grateful, appreciative, kind, and I can go on about the quality of how they bag. These young ladies were sending me out with bags of six jars of pasta in one bag, not double bagged and when I pointed it out one of them flat out, said the management said we are not allowed to double bag. I stated that that was ridiculous. I said they need to be double bagged. I said the customers don't want busted jars on their driveway.. so the only thing I've deduced is that this is personal and it's very unfortunate that these young ladies not only are not being honest to people around them but themselves as well. I hope the outcome of this is that they learn a lesson. I hope to receive an apology and I hope to get back on task helping the people of Sequim and surrounding area areas. read more

Ew I had the creepiest experience with their undercover security guy. My mom and I were doing self checkout and he was watching us so intensely and creepily that it felt uncomfortable. I started recording him because he wouldn't look away for even a second and then when he finally noticed he came to me and said I can't record him or the cops will throw me out. The other guy apologized for how intense he was being but then this weird guy follows us out and watches us load our car up with our groceries. I understand if we stole something but we paid for everything! I think this guy is just way to much and needs to be fired. read more

The store is fine, prices are better than other stores and there's always lots of merchandise to choose from. The problem is the employees, who seem to be carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. They seem depressed, tired and very anti-customer. Why do they stay working there? hmmm. Example: I was looking for a memory card for my phone. I asked a female employee in electronics (where the phones are) for help finding one. She gave me a blank look and actually said " I dunno". I'm shopping elsewhere now, even if it costs more, I don't need their nasty attitudes. read more

I was shocked there were no checkers to ring me up at all. Evey station was lights out and closed work no one at them. I checked ever space. I have torn rotator cuff from an injury, it literally hurts me to ring myself up. I don't understand how this isn't an ADA violation. read more

so about a week ago i had been to the sequim wa. walmart and i had used my card there and then a few hours later i went to the port angeles, wa. walmart and when i got donei realized my card was missing. i called the sequim store and the first time i called ssome pukass guy answered the phone with " hello hello hello" then hung up. i called right back and some young lady answered and i asked her if anyone found my card and she told me just a second and put me on hold 30 minutes later i hung up and called right back again this time another young lady answered and again i asked her and she said she was gonna put me on hold i told not t0 and told her why so she left the line open as she asked others. i had to wait several days to write this because i was pissed off. not a very good way to run customer service if walmart is going to say this is ok customer service, i know several people that are refusing to go to walmart and if this keeps up, i'll be one of them. also, who is the idiot that has all cashiers go for breaak at the same time? maybe if walmart had any balls they should fire the manager because it is costing walmart lots of money. i will be sending this to both the store as well as corperate so there is no " sweeping it under the rug" someone did find my card and they turned it into my bank because they didn't trust walmart read more

Walmart in sequim has something in common with a lot of other businesses in sequim they are very xenophobic anybody who is different than them they will follow around and not let them shop I haven't followed around so close that I could not even get what I needed because every time I turned around I ran into this lady who looks like a man she is always the same one following me she is rude I have heard this from other shoppers as well I am different from them sure because I am a person from Russia and right now everybody is afraid of Russians that is stupid is very stupid so now this business is completely stupid because they write me off as a person who has money who can shop who is going to be a good shopper at their store they represent themselves very very poorly they jump the gun and judge people before they even see what the people are about I try not to go here after being hassled and harassed so much by this one individual employee and the rest of them to really you guys need to get on top of things because it is not nice to shop at a place where you feel like you have goosebumps down your back because there is someone breathing on you all the time if I wanted that I would go back to Russia read more

I bought some skin lotion from Walmart in Bellingham, WA a few days ago. It didn't work well so I went to Walmart in Sequim at the Customer Relations desk. They REFUSED to give me a refund although I presented my receipt! The cashier said, "For a return for a refund, you must go to the Walmart store where you purchased the item for which you want a refund. So you will have to return to Bellingham if you want a refund." No apology at all. So I left the Walmart store immediately, never to return again. For years I have never had such a rude and negative experience at any Walmart! read more

Eye Care Center Customer Service Fail... we went to the vision center to ask for assistance fixing a pair of sun glasses. The associate sitting at the desk, not waiting on anyone else said she was leaving and would not be back in 30 minutes. I doubt it would have taken her the time we had the conversation to make a happy and loyal customer but instead she made the decision to alienate. I'll go elsewhere from now on. Again, no small shopping carts to be found. I asked the man standing at the entrance for a small cart, he looked around where he was standing and said, I guess there aren't any right now. No offer to get one or to solve the problem at all. I looked at him and said, I guess I'll have to come back another day. He said, Okay, sorry. I left and when to QFC, where they always have small carts. I will now be moving my prescriptions to QFC, as well. read more

I get that you are trying to go completely self serve at the checkouts but give me a break. We were in the only full service line, woman in front of us had three items and we were next in line. One of your staff members literally dragged us to the other end of the store to a self service line. The person in front of us had a huge cart full of produce. She got away with scanning about 75 percent of it. Do not pull people out of line without informing them of your intentions (we thought he was opening up another line). As witnessed today it is obvious that the theft rate will skyrocket. It took us 20 additional minutes to get out of there. Will never go here again. Much better going to a couple of different stores for my shopping than to this store. read more

The optometrist in the vision center, whose face was so near mine for an exam, was not wearing a mask the whole time. I was very uncomfortable. There is still a global pandemic taking place and I am required to wear a mask in the store and to my exam. Shouldn't the optometrist also be required to wear a mask? read more

would give a 5 star rating if the bathrooms were cleaned better and the customer service was nicer, not a single employee smiled, seems more depressing to shop here then any where else, good selection though, and good prices. would recommend still for shopping read more
