They have a great selection of tasty snacks or lite groceries that you may have forgot you needed, even some fresh produce. They also have a very well stocked selection of cider and microbrew cans as well as specialty chocolate bars. They even host a wine tasting some afternoons and have a truly wonderful selection of wine, with affordable bottles available for purchase. I love that they provide picnic tables where you can bring your snacks outside to enjoy your purchases all while you take a peek at their cute farm pen with a couple of goats, specialty chickens, roosters, and rabbits! I checked out their surprisingly large wine selection. Most were in my price range (affordable) and the prices were comparable to much large establishments. Absolutely horrible customer service, and no regards to safety. The clerk had a mask under her chin and didnt even bother to cover her face or offer customers a bag. So disappointed when the marker on the wall says "masks required " Bad message! Agnew sets the standard for sure. read more

Adore this little store that has an almost 100 year old history with loads of charm. Friendly people, great prices, cute farm critter petting zoo. It's handy having the store around the corner for when I need something quick. It was always a very nice experience going there but not sure if they changed hands or what has happened but often there is a dark haired gal in there that isn't friendly at all. In fact she has very poor social skills and acts like she has a big chip on her shoulder. I go there less because of it. read more

I started coming over to Sequim to ride with some cyclists, and they routinely stop by this store, and it is such a nice stop to rest and get some coffee or a cold soda after some miles on the bike! I stopped in at Agnew's Feed & Market on a Sunday afternoon to check out an old farm supply store and pick up something to drink for the drive back to Seattle. I couldn't predict what a surprise this unassuming old market turned out to be. The proprietor, a guy named Chris, has stocked an outstanding wine, ale, cider & soda collection favoring about 50% Washington State and 50% great stuff from somewhere else. The grocery aisle is stocked with high quality, reasonably priced, good food that you actually want to buy. Local grass fed beef, creamy raw milk from Sequim, lean shoulder bacon, raw local honey, Jose's killer salsa from Sequim, german toothpaste tube rotte/weiss and mustard, the list goes on. Top it off with an in-house personal shopper, friendly and volup Joanne, and it is easy to explain the 20+ happy customers who dropped in over 45 minutes on a drizzly weekend afternoon. A group of us girls rode our bikes on the Olympic discovery trail and were told by some of the locals to be sure and stop by the Agnew Grocery Store. What a fun place. Where else can you go to get Wine in a can (of course my friend and I had to have one) and beer. We ate ice cream, took a ton of pictures and visited the goat, bunnies and the cat. It is one place we will be back to next year when we do our annual bike ride. The locals in Port Angeles are about as friendly as you can be. And what we were most impressed with is no one had their noses in their phones. They actually talked to each other. read more
