Ending my trip from Olympic national Park, I honestly just needed to use the restroom and saw that this place has good reviews for the deli. So I popped in. Best decision ever. I ordered a cold sandwich, The Eagle. I almost ordered the Sammy pastrami for a hot sandwich as recommended by the woman taking my order. The eagle is fantastic! It's on a sourdough bread with a cranberry sauce and sliced turkey deli meat. The cranberry sauce is a cream base and is extremely tasty without being too powerful. I added on bacon and Dijon mustard along with dill pickles. The turkey is perfect and juicy. I was afraid it would be dry, but nope, they know what they're doing here. All the flavors go really well together, even when I added on. And the bread is moist, it didn't quite taste like a sourdough, maybe it was a little bit more of a white bread, sourdough, but it was really good. If my sandwich is this good, I can only imagine how good the recommended sandwich is! The lady who took my order was nice and patient with me and I appreciate that. And she remembered who I was so when she called my sandwich, she basically tossed it at me! In a good way. Only negative thing I can say is the Line situation was a little confusing, but that's really more about the patrons waiting to order or not order or just make up their mind. Walking around the market, they have a lot of options for local snacks and beverages, especially beer. I highly recommend stopping in.! read more

Longhouse Deli and Market in Sequim had delicious and inexpensive sandwiches. Each sandwich has a unique name inspired by the Native American heritage. We ordered two Eagles - it was glorious. Other sandwich names sounded like characters from legends too: the totem stacker, the thunderbird, the raven. It was a unique way to make us feel like being a part of a cultural culinary experience. After we finished our sandwiches we browsed through the market and found several art items inspired by Native American experience. These items were inexpensive and well made. This was a great pit stop en route to Olympic national park from Tacoma. We stopped for gas since the price at the chevron wasn't too bad but the inside of this deli next door was really fun for a road trip! They had hot sandwiches which is what we ended up getting, plus all kinds of coffee and other convenient store food and snacks. The bathrooms were decently clean as well which I also needed. I'm from forks but live in the city now This is my whole family's favorite stop. I often come here 2-4 times every other week as I'm back home often for work. I see the same workers typically evening is when I am swinging by to use the bathroom, fuel up and snacks. Tonight I was really put off because I parked in the same spot I always do. I leave my car locked but running so my dogs don't set off the alarm- even just last week my fav employee guy mentioned my dogs he knows where I usually park. It's convenient so I can keep an eye on my dogs while I run in quickly. Tonight a "security" guy.. super official I guess approached me as I was getting out of my car. For one- not a comfortable situation being a woman traveling solo at 9 pm. I couldn't understand what he was saying at first and then told mw where I parked is for employees only overnight. Like I needed to move. I was really confused and I told him I come here like twice a week and always park here for 10 mins. He said well I should park in the other spaces. There is NO SIGN- no marking on the ground no nothing. I felt it was inappropriate and an overreach if there is no signage. Like I'm suppose to read their minds and then also worth upsetting a regular customer? I am a good customer and I like to follow rules and stay out of the way.. I thought it was ridiculous. If I was parked there for a long time or something sure but I was confused what the point was. It doesn't say employee parking only. He said am I only going to be a little? I'm like uh ya??? He said then it's fine. It was just really annoying and felt controlling. And if you wanna approach people at night in the parking lot in the rent a cop security jacket maybe have a sign or something??? Am I the biggest fish to fry or what?? This is the best convienence store I have ever stepped foot in! It's a gigantic store with huge ceilings and exquisite interior decoration and it is spotlessly clean everywhere. That alone, as well as the food options would make it in the running for the best gas station, but once I saw they have organic French roast coffee on tap that sealed this gas station as as easily been number one I never been in. They make gigantic sandwiches here at the incredibly clean deli area, but I wasn't hungry this time so I didn't get one, but they Shaw look good yessuh. read more

I stopped at the Longhouse on the way home from Silverdale tonight to get very reasonably priced gas and some snacks. They have twelve gas pumps and a huge selection in the store. The restroom was clean, too. I took a couple of pictures inside, but the cashier asked me if I was taking pictures, and when I said "Yes, but no one was in them" (thinking people's privacy was the problem), she told me that wasn't allowed. I asked if that included the exterior of the building and she said she didn't think so. Since I waited until everyone was out of frame to take the pictures, I thought that maybe taking images in which the Native artwork could be seen was prohibited. Unsure of the reasoning and to be on the safe side, I deleted the interior pictures (except the close-up of my selections) and the exterior pictures in which Native artwork could be seen. I told her there were already a bunch of pictures of the interior on Yelp, so it didn't occur to me to ask. I hope these pictures are acceptable. read more

I love this place not only for gas but for a quick stop for all kinds of good stuff. Hint; tell visitors, traveling to sequim and west, that this is a good place for a bathroom break. The restrooms at the tribal area are only pit outhouses so drive on to the longhouse. read more

I stop here every time I am on the Olympic Peninsula. It's a great spot for a break from driving from the Seattle. It's the perfect place to use the restroom (the bathrooms are so clean and always stocked with soap and paper towels). It's the perfect place to fill up the car with fuel (and the prices aren't bad!). And it's a great place to get some food! It's basically a grocery store - so all kinds of snack and drink options. But there is also a deli where you can get made-to-order sandwiches, as well as fixings like potato salad! The last time I was here, it was morning, so I grabbed their breakfast meal and then ordered the Thunderbird sandwich (turkey, havarti, and avocado on ciabatta) and the smallest container they had of potato salad. The people working at the deli counter are SO nice and make tasty sandwiches. The Thunderbird is delicious. The breakfast meal is just ok - I got it with the country gravy which is good and the hash browns were good but the eggs were just meh. Skip breakfast but definitely get some sandwiches if you have time! Also great to take for a picnic or for hiking! This is probably my favorite rest stop in the state! read more

We live near longhouse so it's our closest place to buy an item here or there instead of going all the way into town. We've been going here for 5 years and it's great! Some items are a little over priced but I'd rather pay it than drive farther into town. The people that work there are nice and the sandwiches are always awesome! read more

I don't know how this place could be better. They are well lit up at night so you can't miss the turn, gas prices are usually really good, and they have really good food options. The restrooms here are clean and the market manages to stay warm despite the automatic doors constantly being opened and closed due to patrons entering and exiting. They have the usual chips and candy type snacks in the market section, but there's also a sit down area and hot food bar with things like cabbage rolls and lasagne in little metal pans. They have an extensive amount of energy drinks and sports drinks in the cooler cases as well. It's one of the only establishments open for the long stretch between Sequim and Kingston/Poulsbo so it's a great place to stop to pick up whatever you need for the drive. read more

Always worth the stop, whether it's for gas, restrooms, deli sandwiches, beer, or snacks. Customer friendly in all aspects (staff, wide spaces, etc). The only downside is it tends to be hopping with people, especially in tourist season. But that's because it is so good! read more

Surprisingly good, and kind-of an unexpectedly fun shopping experience, seeing how I was expecting the traditional gas station price-gouging and tourist baiting. Instead, we found reasonable prices, decent food, friendly service. This place is our "must stop" every-time we come to Sequim. The gas is not cheap here because it's Chevron but there's a Costco just 6 miles up the road. No, we come here for the food. Their deli has the most delicious sandwiches and has never made me feel ill (I'm allergic to soy). Today I got a Sammy panini and my husband got a Bear panini. They're served piping hot and are big enough that you won't be hungry for a long while after. They have a great selection of drinks and snacks too. The staff are always super helpful and their bathrooms are very clean. They have great Native American trinkets and gorgeous postcards. They offer free water from their soft drink dispenser. They have most everything you would need at a beautiful store! A small eating area they have some hot food and great sandwiches! They have a large gas station there as well. Part of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal land. The 7 Cedars Casino is just up the way. Greens, their pot store is just across the street too! The tribal dental facility is just up the street, as is the library and a wonderful gift gallery. The coolest thing is the garage where the actually carve the totem poles and lots of the signage on their tribal land. Very spiritual to see and touch the totems there. read more
