So tried to order a delivery and the main purpose was the hot case. I wanted potato wedges, chicken tenders and mac and cheese and at 11:30am nothing was available. I tried calling the store and the deli and with 6 attempts no one was working today. This is absolutely unacceptable and if you have a deli department shouldn't items be made available? Ordered one hour photo and got a notice 4 hours later it is ready. I went to the store and no photo. They said they have been out of paper and ink for almost a week. Told me to call the 800 number and said not their problem. Manager had to call to refund. I wasted and hour and wrecked my kids day. read more

Their system won't scan VALID manufacturer's coupons. When you explain your coupons are authentic and you received them directly from the manufacturer, they will argue with you and tell you you're wrong. Very, very poor customer service. On Friday, April 14th, while checking out at self checkout, a worker in his 50's ambushed me at the checkout and told me they needed to increase their star rating and asked if I'd give them 5 stars. I declined and pressed "no thanks" and he yelled at me as I left the store. Horrible and unwanted. He asked me to rig their rating system and when I declined gave me the worst tongue lashing ever for absolutely no reason stating sarcastically "thanks that's just what I wanted you're a big help." You don't get five stars by cheating. You get it by actually helping customers. This store never helps customers and is known as the worst walmart in town for customer service. This experience was a new level of bad service. Will still shop there but from now on I'm giving only one star as they truly deserve it. Fix your store. read more

Bought a $150 printer. Open the box and it was a used printer paper was in it over 3,000 prints on it, ink was installed and empty no protection in box cord wasn't wrapped nothing at all not even a manual. We got screwed. We recommend checking there electrics or any product before leaving or even selling it!! read more

Have you ever had the feeling, in your gut, that something is just...WRONG? That, you were walking into a dangerous situation. And you say to yourself, "I've got a baaaad feeling about this". This Walmart's tire center wanted to sell us some tires. We wanted to buy their tires. While the car was in their shop, getting fitted for those new tires, something happened. The guys in the shop suddenly stopped working and the manager was called in. The manager then came and told us, 'We can't get one of the lug nuts off the stud on the rear wheel. So, here's what we're going to do for you, we are going to put your old tires back on your car, wheel it out of our garage and give you a tire iron so you can see if you can get that lug off. Okey-Dokey?" What happens next is sneakier than the trap the Empire set for the Rebels over Endor. Only this time, there was no General Ackbar to warn us. Even at the last minute! You can almost guess how this ends. We take the tire iron, place it on the lug and 'OOPS'. The lug, along with the stud fall right off the wheel hub. Oh, and remember that now - they have absolutely NO responsibility since their tires are off and the car is outside of their shop? But, we all know it was a trap all along. Evil Walmart being evil. read more

Customer service is awful. CHRIS The manger (pictured) of the store ignored me as I stood in front if him at the cashier counter. Avoiding eye contact, then after 5 minutes of me standing there staring at him still having said nothing to me, he makes brief eye contact gives an obligatory smile with a small huff and goes back to ignoring me. To have said "hi, someone will be with you in a minute" seemed to escape him apparently. Finally another staff member without addressing me came to me and said "whaddya need? " ... Oh, right! I'm being asked without any cooth - "what can I do for you ma'am?". This was followed by what can best be explained as 3rd or 4th rate customer service. I work in customer service. First hand customer service, so yes, I do know what I'm taking about. These folks fall plenty short of the mark, but if they had massaged my feet afterward they would have gotten a much better review. This joint is a joke. read more

I only go to a Walmart when I can't find a thing conveniently somewhere else. In this case it was a particular type of lightbulb. This store had a greeter in front, a nice gentleman named Richard who showed me the easiest way to find lightbulbs. Very polite and helpful which is an anomaly for any Walmart. But then, the cashier kept yawning repeatedly as she was checking everybody out. I mean, open mouth, gaping hole, you can see her fillings in the back and her nasty tongue up close yawning like she hadn't slept in days. Eww! This is more like the Walmart I'm familiar with. Horrible customer service. They just don't care. So 2 stars - 1 for polite and helpful Richard and 1 star for having the lightbulb I needed. Otherwise, this place, the employees who don't care, the management who don't care, sucks. read more

This is a typical WalMart. Same stuff, low prices. Non-existent customer service, Blah blah blah. Store and restrooms were actually cleaner than a typical Walmart. What stuck me as odd in the 2 trips here recently is that the cashiers move in super SLOW MOTION. If I could post a video here I would. 5 people in line took 22 minutes, with a small to medium amount of purchases each. Annoyed at first, but then found it to be funny. There are signs that say starting pay is $11/Hr at this Walmart. That's $2/Hr higher than Walmarts in California... with a far lower cost of living in SD! Funny, but kinda pathetic too. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. 14 checkout lanes and only one open with 7 carts waiting. The 20yo manager tells me that I can self-checkout. I say no I can't because I don't work here. He goes on to tell me that I should try it. Again I say it's not about trying anything, it's about the fact that if I check myself out then I'm working for walmart and I'd expect a 5% discount for that. Then proceeds to tell me that he doesn't have enough help and I tell him well there's two people at each end of the self-checkouts that are doing nothing but watching people run their self-checks and that there are also three employees standing around at the customer service doing nothing. That seven employees he can choose from to open just one more checkout and again I get the "well corporate" excuse. I tell him look corporate isn't here, your the manager, your job as the manager is to solve problems. The problem is one backed-up checkout, use your available employees to solve the problem by opening another check-out we're not trying to land on the moon here. He obviously is "manager" in title only and just stares away from me so I drop my stuff on the counter and walk out. Never to return again to such a dysfunctional store read more

Walmart you let me down promising that you would reimburse me and they lied. Saying you would talk to the vendor that sold me junk and they lied. Shop from amazon. Even if it is a few dollars more it is worth it. Walmart is a nightmare with online returns, and needs to remain a store and nothing more to do with the web. I have a complimentary thing to note about the electronic department at the WalMart near the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, SD. I normally hate to go there because it is so busy and the employees are generally shorthanded and overworked, rarely having time to help. However--on a recent stop approximately 4 days before Christmas this year, I went in and a young lady in the electronic department assisted me promptly, effectively, efficiently, politely, and knowledgeably through my entire purchase from start to finish. She was wonderful! The other employees around her were also very helpful, friendly and efficient as well. It was amazing. It was the very best experience I have ever had at a WalMart store. Ever! Give them a try. read more

I know, I know......just stop shopping here......but I cant...because my wife is convinced that this particular Walmart has the best clearance clothes...or more of them.....any who - back to my story. Why...why in the world would Walmart allow customers to cash work checks in a express lane? My wife and I rolled up to the express lane only to wait 20 mins while the clerk and customer fumbled through the process (it did not help when this Einstein had the check in his hot sweaty pocket all day - and the darn check would not go into their machine....AUGHHHH).......Seriously....there is a money store and mini bank in most Walmarts.....have these yahoooos cash their checks there......stop inconveniencing......everybody else. read more

The worst Walmart I've ever been to and that's hard to beat. The workers are terribly rude. I asked them where the tampons were and they dude laughed and made jokes. I got some breakfast sausage and it was completely old and moldy from the inside. The whole Walmart smells like a drug house. Most of the workers looked high on crack when they were working. If you shop at wal mart you probably have little to no expectations in regard to receiving quality customer service anymore but shop there for the low prices like I do. The problem now is that their shelves are so empty you would think they are going out of business. Hy vee may be more expensive but at least I can get the items I went there for. Dirty, unorganized and filled with shoppers and employees who hate their lives.

I had to get a work shirt so I thought I'd run to Walmart quick and see if I couldn't find one. I had a flannel shirt on so I took that off and draped it over a rack of clothes while I tried on the work shirt quick to see if it fit. I walked away for 60 seconds to find a mirror and come back to find my flannel shirt missing. That's odd, maybe I put it somewhere else. So I walk around some more and I look across and I see there is someone at the fitting room desk and thought maybe she saw who took it. I ask her if she saw a flannel shirt around somewhere or if she saw someone take it. She starts LAUGHING and says, "oh nooo she threw it away hahaha" I said she threw it away?! well can I get it back then? "Yeah it's in there" and points to the garbage behind her. So I go over and grab it out and leave. In hindsight I should have gotten her name and the girl who threw my damn shirt aways name and complained but I was so baffled that she would throw someone's shirt away that I left. I made sure to thoroughly wash it when I got home because who knows what in that garbage, it is Walmart after all. Besides, they'll hire anyone and everyone, they have no standards at all about who they hire so they most likely wouldn't even talk to the workers about how maybe you shouldn't throw peoples clothing items in the garbage. Have some common sense and bring it to lost and found or customer service or something for Gods sake. read more
