I have had it with our local Walmart! I tolerated everything being locked up, and I mean almost everything; Summer's Eve? Really? Its a pain to buy makeup, batteries, razors, etc. It's Saturday and this store is horribly stocked! Came in to buy clear totes and the tote shelves were wiped out! They had plenty of the "seasonal" solid color totes on a pallet but all the clear totes are gone and have been for a while. They're available to order online so I know WalMart is stocking them. Frozen treats is pretty wiped out as well. Once I couldn't find those items I gave up looking for other things I wanted to pick up. Store is filthy and once again they are out of bags at checkouts. This makes the third time in the last year this store has ran out of bags! I don't know who is doing their bag ordering, but maybe they should buy extra and keep them on hand. Went in there for ten items only had two asked a women who was stocking shelves she looked at me like she just took a bong hit and said." I do not know I usually do NOT WORK HERE????" Lousy customer service, uneducated management who allows customers with over 50 items to go through an express line limited to 20 items or less. Then argued with me that it is their corporate policy. I see a prominent sign posted on the entry door at Walmart "Service Dogs Welcome, Pets not allowed". Then I see a parade of people with their dogs (not on a leash) coming into the store. Then, of course, they pick up their mutt and put it in the grocery cart! What is wrong with people! Where is the management that should be enforcing state health laws prohibiting dogs in the grocery store? E-Coli bacterial infections are real and they are deadly. E-Coli bacteria lives in poo. It is in dog poo, people poo, every kind of poo. What do you think your dog walked through before your brought it to the grocery store in order to indulge your attention seeking behavior? It walked through E-Coli infested POO!! Then you put your mutt in the grocery cart where people put their food! Is there any wonder why people are getting sick from E-Coli infections? If your anxiety level is so high when you go grocery shopping then suck on a pacifier. I can't believe Walmart risks the liability of having dog bites and disease. LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME!! this 1 star goes out personally to donna the store manager here. this single star is all i can use to represent negative stars for putting policy over patronage! store policy says no return w/o receipt on items over $50, so yr best bet is buy cheap & return yr junk. if u try to buy quality here, u get screwed. purchased a stanley tool set for about $70 & the thing never worked. even dumb ass donna agreed that it was a defect in manufacturing. its been less than 90 days, but since we lost our receipt in the moving process, instead of considering repeat customers w/integrity, donna goes w/policy even though her co-worker was ready to "DO THE RIGHT THING" & now they will suffer the wrath of bad publicity... like walmart needs any more of that! this is only the beginning of my piblicity assault! when it comes down to it, donna couldnt even do her job as manager. she had to call & confir w/multiple other employees as well as a man in plain clothes, not employee uniform, create a gossip circle scene around us & pretty much made a subjective judgement call based on her prejudice against the advice of some of her fellow employees to treat me like walmart could care less about my business or well being. donna & hercrew got so emotional in thos ordeal, i never wana shop @ this walmart again due to the traumatic experience this has become. i literally feel like walmart employees were tageting me for how i look, even though my issue was so simple & sttaight forward. i couldnt even get store credit for a different tool set that wasnt defective. way to lose business & gain negative publicity... #WALMART mor like walfart! read more

I frequent the Sonora WalMart quite often. it seems to be going steadily downhlll as far as cleanliness and not enough product on the shelves. The Garden Center could be improved also. However, the Clerks are friendly and helpful, and I keep going back. Just clean and stock better. read more

Feb 10th went to fish/pet area. Fish tanks were horrid. There were dead/dying fish in every dirty tank. Dead so long some had fuzz on them. Dead fish in a fish net in the sink. Most of the Beta fish dead in murky water. Some living fish had missing tails. If the store is now open 24 hrs why are their fish in this condition. Neglect and abuse should not be tolerated. I did inform a cashier. I did not see a manager at that time. I called later on and never was acknowledged or my phone call returned. The person in charge of that area and that manager should be fired. Maybe someone at Petsmart could give lessons in fish care. read more

I went into Walmart today with a list of 15 items, but could only find three of them because the shelves are mostly empty. When I mentioned this to the woman who checked me out she just shrugged her shoulders. Ok since I really don't shop at Wal-Mart that often this review is strictly for their Pharmacy. I recently had a prescription sent into their Pharmacy with confirmation number. I called next day and was told it never came in and wasn't in the system. I called my doctor who spoke to pharmacist and waited on phone til he visually confirmed receipt of fax. I then called Wal-Mart I'd asked how long to fill. Was told one hour, ok no problem. I arrived 2 hours later and was told it wasn't ready yet. I waited for 2 more hours at home and called and asked if it was ready. They told me it will be ready when I got there. After getting there it was another half hour til I finally got my prescription. Both of them, the first one that was sent AND the second one. I checked the dates. The first one was filled the day before and the second one that day. They were prepared to give me both. By the way these were pain pills as I had just had surgery. Wow! read more

On 02/12/16 My sister and her husband arrived at Walmart expecting to have their vehicle serviced Instead one of the employees that was servicing the vehicle noticed an open container which was an energy drink and decided they would call the police claiming that they where drinking and driving. How is this beneficial to them as a customer? this is service? is the staff at this Walmart racist? I can handle any of these scenarios and so can my sister, But be open about it if you don't want us as your customers state this and we will happily support our local businesses instead! read more

Only three stars cuz my experience in the auto center was ridiculous. I only go here for shampoo and hair products now. I got my tires from here online and had a huge issue with the online ordering. I should have just taken that as a sign but the tires were cheap and they install for cheap. then when I went to get them installed the auto clerk told me to go to the layaway section and no one was there. I waited for about half a freaking hour just to talk to someone to pick the tires up. then I had to wait for another hour and a half because they had stock taking up one of their lifts. they were all quite rude too. its like watching chickens with their heads cut off because they are always understaffed. Another time my boyfriend went to see if they could change his oil for a BMW and we watched one of the mechanics yell at the guy like he was an idiot that they don't do foreign and coughed something rude as we walked away. do NOT spend your money in the auto section its a huge waste of time. support your local businesses! even of its cheaper its not worth your time read more

ok, this store is ok because it has alot of useful things in it, but the customer service, WOW! They are so slow and useless that i think i could find stuff in the store faster than they can. They are horrible when it comes to customer service. The other day i went there to pick up a flat screen TV for my mom, and they couldn't even find it. then when they did find it, they had to get another person to check it out to us which took the permition of another person. After that they went to get another person to load the TV into the cart to take it to the car but i said no. I was so angry that i picked the TV up and put it in a cart myself and left. The whole time i was there i was watching people just walk by as i asked them for some service. Every single person I asked said the same damn thing, "I'll go get somebody to hepl you." I sat there thinking to myself, why couldn't that person help me. That was to much work for them i guess. I was there for an hour and a half just to pick up a TV that was for my mom. It should have taken 10 minutes at the most. read more

I'm conflicted whether to give 2 or 3 stars on this Wal-Mart but due to some good points I'll go with 3. First off this Wal-Mart has a great selection of merchandise even though it is one of the smallest stores in the state. They have a good electronics section with lots of tv's, cameras, videos games etc etc, the fabric dept which my wife visits has ample supply of items to choose from. The store is laid out well since the remodel a couple years ago. The staff is pretty much a wash, there are some real stars on the staff but that is nullified by some rotten apples. You stand a 50/50 shot at getting a piss poor cashier who doesn't greet you or thank you when your at the register. I've encountered many employees who are too busy chatting with other workers while they ring up your items. My wife and I have made several complaints to the management about worker conduct and have seen those people moved to different duties but only to have the open position filled with another lackluster employee, these poor employees range from 20 somethings to retirement aged people so this problem is not aimed at any particular age group. I feel that better employee training and secret shoppers would bring the quality of the store staff up considerably. One thing to remember is that the customer comes first, they are the reason you have a job, talk on your own time. read more

I am an employee, i have the inside scoop! we are expanding! Not Super center though, just adding a grocery section. It will be a half walmart/half neighborhood market. My experience with this WalMart before i was employed there sucked! As an employee most associates acknowledge me more respectably, but boy do i still get terrible service. Site-to-store, WalMart new name for layaway, really sucks, I know how to do it myself, but If i am picking something up myself i cant ring myself up. I do know it is the associate in the shoe department or at the jewelery counter that can help you, otherwise get a manager. you'll recognize them as the ones with the ear pieces for radios and clipboards/palm pilots/electronics 'gemini' devices, etc. they can help you immediately. Oh by the way as an associate 'cashier' I can tell you, DO NOT ASK WHERE SOMETHING IS TO ANYBODY WALKING BY! THEY DO NOT KNOW. almways ask the associate in that department, i.e. if you are looking for plastic drinking cups, 1 it is the big HOME sign you need to go to! then ask someone in or around there that has a badge that says Housewares! Especially do not ask cashiers, they are the last people that would know where anything is! read more
