Actually the worst Walmart I've ever been to. And I don't have unreasonable expectations for any Walmart. But this one is absolute trash and should be avoided. First off, walking through the store I could smell weed. And no body was that close to me so I questioned if someone was actually using a pen inside the store. They were prepping for restocking but it was a mess. No order. Employees on the isles didn't greet you, but kept their music playing loudly (loved all the profanity!). And checkout was ridiculous. I was told (after I was already ringing up items) "No self-checkout!" on the self-checkout line that was green. The same person who shouted that, was standing right there as I walked up and started ringing up my items. And I walked past a handful of employees as I made my way back to the exit only to be told when I was almost there "You can't exit that way." Cool cool cool. Poor customer service. Messy store. This has to be about the worst place I've ever shopped. I know it's Walmart but even then one would expect some level of acknowledgement as a customer! I stood next to a case pressing the button for assistance for 15 minutes--totally futile! Then I asked for assistance 2 times both times was told someone would come to help....after 20 minutes I just gave up! I have mixed reviews, this Walmart was no different than most Walmarts as far as product availability, Everytime I come they are out of or don't carry something but an item that they were out of last time is back in stock. The checkout out is EXTREMELY LONG, they have plenty of regular lanes open with cashiers but all backed up, The self checkout is open but should be called something else as a Walmart employee rings up everything for you and only two employees are working yet they have like 10 registered per self checkout side and only one side is ever open and that line is even longer. The lines move super slow, the cashiers may be friendly and nice but move super slow so expect to wait in line forever at this Walmart read more

9/6/25, WalMart. South Euclid, OH. 11:44 AM - 1:34 PM. One of the most dangerous places to shop. I walked to the Sporting Goods aisle to purchase a waist purse. An African female customer was sitting on the floor looking at her computer tablet, close to the area where the waist purses are sold. She sat with 2 African males (possibly her sons). She suddenly stood up & violently yelled at me. She told me to get out of her face & that I didn't ask permission to shop in that aisle. When I was then walking towards the cash registers, she was on the opposite side of me. She then had another emotional fit, stating that I was following her. 10/4/25, Walmart. South Euclid, OH. 9:48 AM - 11:43 AM. As I walked passed the shampoo / face cream aisle, an African male/WalMart employee was unlocking the security door where they display the shampoo, (behind a clear glass locked door). A WalMart employee (short African, wearing a black face mask. Voice: Female, Appearance: male. An African female WalMart customer stood in the phone section on my right-hand side. As I bent down to look at the phones, the young African male who was with her, quickly walked towards me to put his crotch in my face. I quickly stood up as the African female customer who he was with, used her right hand to move him back, away from me. The African female customer told the African female/male (?) WalMart African employee that she wanted a particular phone in the phone case. The African female/male (?) WalMart employee then scanned his/her phone onto the phone cardboard display card that is stored in the display case, in order to verify the phone that the customer wanted. When I then stated that I wanted a particular phone, he/she walked to the case behind their register, pulled out the wrong phone & rang it up. When I saw the price, I told he/she that they charged me for the wrong phone. I asked he/she to scan the display cards behind the locked customers' store display case. He/she refused. He/she then removed a 2nd phone from the locked cabinet, behind the register, & charged me for that phone without verifying whether or not it was the correct phone. When I asked he/she to verify by scanning the displayed cardboard for the phone that is stored behind a locked customers' display case, he/she instead shoved her/his phone in my face to show me the price of the phone. Low class & uncivilized doesn't even begin to describe this place. When I then walked to the front cash registers to pay for an additional item, there was a violent & unstable African male yelling in the store. An African female Walmart employee told the African female Walmart employee at the cash register to dial a 3 digit number if it continues, (it wasn't 911). This was the last time that I will walk into, & shop in this store. read more

I stopped in for Black Friday specials today. The store was in complete disarray and unorganized. Cluttered was an understatement. Not a regular employee on the floor in sight. The Black Friday deals were not all marked and some even rang up incorrectly. The only reason this store is getting 2 stars is because cashier Julianna was a pure delight. I wanted to buy a bunch of wheels. I guess I should have gone to Wheelmart. This is more like Whalemart, but that's beside the point. This Walmart is pretty cool and I saw one of the most amazing girls I've seen in a long time when I was shopping here. They have the tanning lotion that I wanted and the Fix-A-Flat that I needed which actually ended up not working. Check out was easy and quick and nobody demanded to see a receipt. The bathrooms are gross but at least they have bathrooms. They close at 12 which is a bit of a problem but generally speaking I like this enormous Walmart. I was in the area and desperately in need with a flat tire, so I was glad it was here, but the products they had for the tires didn't actually do the trick. And it's not a great store to get around, doesn't have "all the stuff", and closes fairly early at night - and not one of the most useful and helpful Walmarts that I've been to, but they did have the stuff for my tires that I needed and it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, this is the absolute worst walmart ever! I've tried for years to avoid writing a review for this store because it's right in my neighborhood and we need stores in the neighborhood but at this point it's just way out of control. I use to leave my house where this Walmart is across the street to go to the Walmart on SOM Center road until they closed. I only go to this Walmart if it's an absolute emergency and even then I think twice. The store is so unorganized, unkept, unprofessional, workers have no pride in themselves or their job, I've heard some of the most inappropriate conversations between co-workers while I'm shopping. They are very unhelpful, you're almost afraid to ask for help because they get an attitude, as if it's not their job (customer service). Everything is always mispriced or as they like to say, "somebody must have put it in the wrong place"! They never have anything you actual want. I have purchased so many out dated items from there. I was just there yesterday and two incidence happened at the same time. While I was standing in line checking out. I had a large quantity of items got to the register and it rang up at a price almost double what the sticker said. I had my granddaughter go back and take a picture of the sticker. She comes back and show the cashier but they argued with me that it was not the correct item. Now because of their pattern, their stickers are constantly incorrect, she called the manager or acting manager over and she was puzzled but went on with the cashier that it was the smaller box, but the sign for the smaller box with the smaller oz was much higher than this sticker. So deductible reasoning would say there was an error printed up on the sticker which they refused to admit but ironically enough, when I doubled back into the store, the sticker had been removed from that shelf. I called today to speak with the manager, I even called the corporate office to get a message to the district or regional manager and all they kept doing was giving me the number to the store. After three attempts to go through corporate. I tried to speak with the actual store manager but it rang and rang and said we have a high call volume please try back another time. That's when I decided to leave this review. Now I didn't forget the other incident. While all of this was going on with the sticker/price. One of the other cashiers who was just walking around talking to all of the other cashiers who were supposed to be ringing customers out just yelled out to everyone...EWWWW he just opened up the freezer doors and spit in it! There was a big scene about that then a few of the workers started inquiring who, where, call security. About 2-3 minutes later security appeared, then I heard someone he just ran out the store. So the cashier that was ringing us out disappeared in a huddle with the other cashiers who just left their drawers to look and discuss what was happening as if there was no one in their mile long line! I should have went with my first mind and went to MEIJERS!!!! read more

I stopped by this location earlier today to return a pair of shoes I purchased online. The return process was seamless although I wish that the area had a sign Returns and just one more cashier. But not a big deal. A plan of this whole enormously huge place posted somewhere wouldn't hurt. Did some grocery shopping and was surprised to find out that the prices here are much better than at the Giant Eagle that is closer to home, but from now on I will not mind to drive an extra mile to get better prices. read more

This business doesn't want your money as a customer. First, they have most of their products locked up, so you have to wait for someone to open the case. I don't even rate this store a zero as they are far below. I bought a total of 5 things in different corners of the store, taking time which is ok. However they have very few cashiers that were backed up and the majority of the scan and go do it yourself registers were closed. I've e never seen a scan and go line so long, it was the entire length of the checkout line and up one of the aisles. I walked out as I didn't have time to wait that long, extremely pathetic and will never go anywhere near this store. Nope nope nope. Their were dozens of customers waiting in line to check out, at 11:00pm whether in line or not, they made everyone leave their carts in line and walk out of the store. I don't expect much from Walmart, but even by this standard, this was a really horrible location. The spray paint cans were all under lock and key. That wouldn't be so bad, except that there weren't any sales associates around who could open up the glass case for me. I decided to go elsewhere for a can of Krylon instead. Much of the men's underwear was also locked away in a glass case. Not the good moisture-wicking stuff, mind you. It was the cheaper Fruit of the Loom underwear that was locked away, bizarrely enough. Do they really have a problem with people stealing or vandalizing the cheap underwear? And not the more expensive stuff? Again, this wouldn't be a bit deal if a sales associate was available. The grocery selection wasn't great in comparison to the other Walmart locations either. And many of their suitcases had no price tags or price signage available. How do they expect to sell these things? This strikes me as a place where the management has pretty much given up on trying to sell stuff. read more

I went to this Walmartmart for the third time, each time I went to this store it was horrible. Most of the employees on the floor have attitude, they do not make you feel welcome, CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXSIST at this store. I asked a young man in the hardware department where were the 12ft extension cords, he stated "did you look down here", his attitude was horrible. His tone towards me was like I was brothering him. I could not find any 12ft extension cords, so I asked another employee who was walking by for help, because I did not want to be a bother to this young man. I told the lady that he would not help me, she stated, " I don't work in this department, you need to ask this young man, I said he will not help me; the young man became LOUD TOWARDS ME, he said "I told you to look down here" again his tone was horrible. I went to management and told here what happened. She must be use to getting complains from customers, she apologize to me like she was reading a script; it was not real; again I felt like I ws a bother. Every time I go to this Walmart, it's a disappointment. It is messy and the aisle are not organized. I usually like to go to Walmart for their craft section, but even there it is hard to find what you are looking for. The fabrics area is really messy and things are not been put back in place. If the prices are all the same at the Walmart's throughout Northern Ohio and I will attest to the fact that the customer volumes are roughly equivalent at the sites I compare below, why is the service at the Walmart ( Warrenville Center Rd) that serves a predominantly Afro-American clientele so inferior. The stocking of items is poor, the lines are long and the customer service is nearly absent. This doesn't seem to be the case at Walmart's in Northern Ohio that serve predominantly white communities in, for example , Chardon or in Aurora. I'm not the only one who has noticed it. It high time that Walmart management stop this not-so-subtle discrimination and bring the Warrensville site up to same standards as the Walmarts elsewhere in Norther Ohio. Extremely poor service! My husband and I went to the South Euclid Walmart location today Monday, June 20, 2022 at 9am. We had a cart full of groceries, but when we went to the checkout area there were NO lanes open with a cashier to check us out. We were told by the manager, Miranda (with a poor attitude), to use the self checkout and one of her employees would help us. I only use self checkout when I have a small quantity to checkout, not a bunch of groceries. I've been living in the community and going to this Walmart for 15 years and never had such an experience. I assumed they would at least have their normal 1 to 2 lanes open early in the morning but 0?! It's ridiculous! Believe I won't be using this location for my grocery shopping needs anymore. I'd rather drive 30 minutes away to the next location than to go back to that Walmart and experience anything like that again. And by the way this Walmart location it's a mediocre to begin with. read more

I was door-dashing in this area and got one for this Walmart. I parked in the right spot, gave my name, to two different people and watched them walk into the building. I then watched them fill every other car. Then they started to fill the cars that came after me. I told the kid filling the one car and he said I just got here which I understand but the system should be set up better cause I waited over an hour for stuff that wasn't mine. This process should not take over an hour. I had people waiting on their groceries and I could have used that time to take more orders but now it's wasted because of bad service. The Walmart Supercenter in South Euclid, OH is, BY FAR, the most inaccessible grocery and/or big box store in the Heights area. COVID-19 has just made it worse. This store has ALWAYS been highly ambivalent about the availability of electric carts for disabled patrons. There are frequently only two or three available on any given day. It is not unusual to wait more than 30 minutes, and not infrequently over an hour, for a cart. The associates, particularly the female associates, do not care about an orderly queue for the carts. They'll give them to whomever. Now, there's nowhere to sit in the store to wait because, so they say, of COVID. Hence, disabled people have to stand and wait. The store discriminates against disabled people and management does not care. If you have a disability, STAY AWAY! read more

I don't go here expecting the best, but their cheaper prices definitely make up for it. I always check to see if this Walmart has what I need before going to Target down the street. The store itself isn't the cleanest (there's pieces of trash on the floor, products are fallen over and misplaced), not very well-stocked (there's usually at least 1-2 normal things on my list that I can't find), the produce is meh, sometimes they don't have carts a the entrance so you need to go to the parking lot and get your own, workers are few and far between and sometimes aren't very jolly, they have cable company workers that try to sell you things, and checkout lines can be 20-30 minutes long. That being said, it's definitely not a horrible place and price savings are noticeable if you're willing to put up with some minor inconveniences. Regarding them checking receipts: it really doesn't bother me. Sometimes they ask me, sometimes they don't. It never takes very long, and I've never had any of the workers be rude to me. read more

This Walmart is a complete disaster. We ran in to grab some vitamins because it was the only location nearby that had them in stock. The five minutes spent in here were more than enough to make us never want to come back. There were people running around everywhere, merchandise and litter all over the floor, products randomly placed on shelves making it impossible to find anything, and just complete chaos. All of the checkouts had extremely long lines despite it not being a busy time (8:00 pm on a weeknight). We decided to do the self-checkout and half of them were even out of service or flashing and saying they required a staff member's assistance. The parking lot was a mess as well. No one seemed to know how to properly drive in a parking lot, and the lot had trash and litter scattered everywhere. I definitely do not recommend this Walmart location! read more

This is for Walmart.com orders, that I usually pick up at the Eastlake store. Couldn't find any way to leave a review for the website. I order from the website all the time, and things rarely go smoothly. Problems include; being overcharged for sales tax; missing items for home delivery orders (as well as numerous broken and leaking items); frequent website glitches; and automatic order substitutions that you have to opt out of for each order. If anyone knows how to review the website please let me know. How a company with so much money and resources could do such a poor job with their online business is very hard to understand. read more

The customer service from the cashier and a Black manager was excellent! However, the customer service from the mgr and his boss was unconscionable. I was purchasing a planner( the last one) , the planner had been writing in it. But, I needed it. I brought this to the attention of the mgr who said" I can't control these customers and he said that he would give me 10 percent off. His attitude was Terrible and I asked to speak with his boss. It's a Walmart, and it comes with all of the chaos we've come to unlovingly expect from a Walmart. The parking lot is terrible. Unlike other reviewers, I've never had any bad interactions with their employees, although I can't ever find them when I need them, either. Checkout takes forever, even and maybe especially at the self-service area. Being stared at by security on the way in and having your receipt checked on your way out is a little offputting-- I've only ever had this done at the big warehouse stores before. That said, prices are low, and you can find everything you need here. And sometimes the quality really is a pleasant surprise-- we found an excellent outdoor umbrella for our patio for only $50. I try to shop elsewhere when I can, but sometimes you just need something each from grocery, office supplies, home goods, pharmacy and garden center all in the same day, and it those situations Walmart will suffice. read more

The way people were acting and the lack of employees. The store was a mess, spilled soaps all over the place. Kids running around like it was a jungle gym. It was terrible. Worst Walmart I have ever seen. We are a military family that's lived in nearly 10 states. I've been in tons of Walmart stores. This one is terrible, the worst run store by far. There are some associates that will go out of their way to assist you in finding things in the store but the management is outrageously unhelpful. They regularly close early. They turn the front lights off 15 minutes before the store closes. They shut the registers off and won't allow anyone to check out a few minutes before they close. There are no check out lines staffed during the last hour, only self-check out. Sometimes the line is 30 minutes long to check out. Last time I was there the manager blocked the self-check out right before 11:00 (closing) and told the people waiting to check out to "get out" and "bye." The employees were standing around laughing at the customers having to abandon full carts. The lights in the already shady parking lot are always burned out. Twice I've seen fights in the store and parking lot - employees didn't call the police or intervene. This store needs a complete overhaul. Shame on Walmart corporate for allowing this store to persist in this way. It is not serving the community. read more

This Walmart is a tale of two Walmarts. Get there bright and early and it's great. Get there later in the day and you've entered one of Dante's levels of hell. Most assuredly and lower level. The help who work there are okay. Some are fantastic, I find the people stocking and working the deli are nice. Cashiers are uneven. I've gotten some great service, and some that I was astonished by. But, it's Walmart... The shelves are pretty well stocked and if they're out, they're out. My advice is to get there early on Saturday or Sunday morning and you'll have less hassles with lines.
