They had everyone on their game today! Lots of associates shopping Togo and stocking up shelves .. found few things we needed and few extras.. even tho it was super busy in the store they had good selection and store was being maintained.. wasn't trashed like other retailers I've been to during the holidays. First of all, this place is slow as heck it was crowded, busy, and slow. I have never been to a store this slow. And the employees aren't really talkative, like when you wait for them to scan your grocery's they take their time and don't say anything to you unless it is like would you like this in a bag or the total is this. read more

Pros - - AMAZING mother's room for feeding, changing and caring for your baby. As a nursing mother I really appreciate that. It's very nice and clean. - the grocery pickup is PHENOMENAL. Timely, everyone is nice, and once I didn't get an item and was refunded immediately. - the staff is very nice and helpful. Cons - just like every Walmart on the planet they could definitely stand to have more registers open. That's the only reason I took a star away. Overall best Walmart I've ever been to. read more

The manager of this store has to be the most unintelligent person that I have ever come across in retail stores. We went in and selected our items and went to check out at the lawn and garden register. They were paying someone to stand at the register to tell people that they couldn't check out there. If you can pay someone to play on their phone and rudely tell people that they can't check out, you can pay them to run the register! Wow....I wish that I could give it zero stars....smh read more

One of the cleanest Walmart's I have ever been in. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. More Walmart's need to be like this one. Most other stores employees have attitudes and the stores always look dirty like new bern and Jacksonville. Swansboro Walmart you guys are doing a great thing keep up the good work. read more

Was staying at a Marina in Cedar Point and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was s new Walmart, located conveniently nearby. You guys this is like the....No, correction. This is THE NICEST WALMART I've ever been in. Hell its nicer than most Targets. Everything refrigerated is encased in an enclosure. The organic food options were so plentiful and priced just right. We picked up tons of fruits and veggies. Sorry Dometic fridge you're getting overworked tonight (fellow RV'ers can you feel me?). The staff was amazing. Someone actually went to the back to get me some brown cage free eggs. They ask if you are finding/ found everything okay? Yes, more than once they asked. Now folks I know what you're thinking. It's new. It won't last. Well maybe it won't always be this shiny and everyone so enthusiastic but this is becoming a recurring thing for me more and more as I travel this great nation of ours. The Walmart's are up'ing their game! I used to hate Walmart. Wouldn't step foot inside one. Not anymore. Now I still prefer to buy my chicken else where most of the time. But the fish and ground Turkey are fine. Plus they are adding new foods all the time. They no longer price match, but the prices are always fair. I also hear they are starting to pay the associates more. If that's true...kudos! I'm all for that and will support them that much more. Back to the store. Look at the pics, it's so nice inside.i could eat healthy for cheaper here! Thanks Walmart...I could just hug your fresh foods section ; ). Of course if you have a hankering for the sweet or salty, they got you. The selection is out of this world. Cold foods were kept extremely cold and it was very easy to get around. This is by far the easiest layout I've ever seen. If you like to shop at Aldi's for chips, apparently Walmart is taking them on hard, as many of their chips (store brand) were .77, .80, and 1.33 for the fancy kettle style and more. There was a huge selection of flavors to choose from. I'm curious to know what they taste like. I opted to go with non-gmo chips though. I don't like pig, advark, goat heels and the like in my chips DNA. I don't know if it's all true. But just give me real dang food folks. Stop all this organic crap and just leave the food alone. Let the prices reflect the harvest. We will have to deal like the generations before us. Excuse me while I climb down off my soap box. So yeah, come here or be square. read more

Was in here for about 15 minutes and immediately noticed approximately 10 people without masks. When the employee was asked about the mask mandate she claimed they can not force people to wear a mask. Well you can refuse to let them into the establishment without one. Absolutely disgusting given the states current COVID statistics. No wonder COVID is running through the Carolinas the way it is. It's establishments like this who continue to drag out the amount of time we as a country have to battle through a pandemic. read more

You would do better to go to the Food Lion down the street for groceries. They do not price match here. Shelves are frequently half empty. In the past month many things that I normally buy have all risen 20 cents. Other reviews say they are helpful. I have not seen that. Have asked for a few things and they never come back. I used to go there all the time. I now go to the Food Lion and shop their specials. read more

Love this Walmart. Its clean, fast and efficient. We use this as the primary place for groceries. Staff is helpful and strives to please. The food is fresh and delicious. I love there pick up service for groceries. read more
