I went to Walmart on Saturday because I was in the area. My experience was terrible. I had made a purchase but the barcode was wet, so the cashier response was the barcode is wet and then proceeded to find someone to help her, but returned with such a nasty attitude. "I can't sell you this product until someone print another, so I ask if she could use the other package to get the bar code and her reply was NO, it sells by the pound and yes it more than likely is but, it was not based on the pound, it was simply the same product from the meat department and the price was the only thing that mattered was the price which was visible. What surprised me was her demeanor, the tone in her voice and when she slammed the package on the counter, and made the comment that the individual is at lunch then proceeded to scan my order and then had the nerve to add an addition charge to my order. I ended up in customer service line to get my refund, but did make her aware of the overcharge, and YES, I did make her aware of the mistake, and what did she do? LAUGH! Ehhhh it's Walmart....so my expectations aren't too high. This location carries food (bakery, alcohol and food item dry, frozen and refrigerated), lawn and garden section, clothing, photo, and I believe that is it. The main reason for the three stars, is simply the service. Man it's really hard finding helping and when you do they are chatting or just aren't very enthusiastic to actually help. In the food section it's a hit or miss if you will find everything you need. When in this section when asking for help...you may just want to take time and do it yourself. My grandmother needed a particular sauce that she has purchased there several times and where it usually is...it wasn't this time. We asked and all they kept saying is it's sold out even though the location sticker was gone and it appeared they rearranged things. Since it's my grandmother you know I will not let her down so I started looking and found it was moved two aisles down. Hmmm I don't work here but was willing to do the job, so I was hoping the employees would be as well since that is the job they are getting paid for. Either way, I have realized it can be frustrating at times of you are not aware this is how they operate. The cleanliness of the store is pretty decent. Haven't really had a bad experience. I haven't been to their restroom in years so not sure how that is. All in all this is one of your few options to get groceries so visiting is something you can't truly avoid. They do have food Lion as an option. Just keeps a heads up knowing you may have to woo saaa at times! read more

I can see why this Walmart doesn't rate high, they care chit chatting with one another you mention a problem and they make noises but doesn't say "You are right, We will take care of the problem " There are reasons things are brought to staff attention. If you are going to close the main entrance put a sign or put yellow tape around the entrance entrance so people can park near the open entrance...not people friendly just lazy. read more

I called the pharmacy 6 times and they would not answer the phone, so I called the store and asked if they could see if there is something wrong with the phones and she transferred me to the pharmacy, knowing I was getting no answer. I called back and asked to speak with a manager as some clients are out of medication. I was placed on hold for 15 min and I finally gave up. This is absolutely terrible customer service. Insurance companies get blamed for rx rejections, but they are difficult to resolve when the pharmacy ignores phone calls. read more

They never answer the phone, bakery is never in the back when trying to order a cake/cupcakes. The craft section is terrible. Ribbon everywhere they don't ever order any when it's out. What extra they have is in a box on the top shelf thats never restocked. SAD. read more

I have shopped at Walmart stores for a good 40 years or better so I remember when a deal was a deal when it came to prices. Walmart was the "go-to" store back then, but over the years I've seen prices get so rediculous at Walmart and these days it's "Go if you got nowhere else to go" and in my town, you only have 2 stores to go to. I've caught being charged double for single items, had vital prescriptions lost or claimed my doctor never called them in, not once but for days knowing she called the store every day for nearly a week. I've caught them scamming customers in general; such as the new Christmas "Customer Appreciation" deal by offering a free gift card to get your attention over to the jewelry counter where you're then told the free gift is a silver heart pendant. Then we get an offer to buy four 16 carat gold chain necklaces with matching bracelets for $20, which they quickly toss into a litte red bag while you are making the purchase and handing it to you as quick as possible to move you along. Then you get it home and see the heart is some sort of tiny glass or plastic and all the are chains plated with a receipt that has "No Refunds" scribbled at the bottom by the cashier. I also noted I was only given 2 warrantee's for the necklaces and when I went back to the store and asked about that, I got a "So what do you want me to do about it?" and when I said to give me the other warrantee's, I was told to go home and scan what I had and make copies. The lady handing out all that fake jewelry also failed to tell everyone that if you had to use that warranty that it would cost you another $5 shipping fee to return it to the company so overall you'll pay that $4 you paid for the necklace to return it. When I realized I'd been scammed I went on Ebay to see the going prices for these necklaces and was amazed that they were being sold for $1.99 for the exact chain necklaces. On holidays the prices shoot through the roof, such as I went to buy some Karo syrup and other baking items and saw that all generic brands were removed to force buying the name brands at double the price, such as the syrup was $3.98 and a gallon of milk was up to $3.49. The other store...the Karo syrup was $2.09 and milk was $2.99. And after you shop and go to leave the store, oh my word, it's like trying to cross the border from Mexico into the United States. It's not enough they stop you and ask for your receipt but then they root all through your cart and bags scanning everything. I'm amazed they don't have the Ghestopo standing at every door. Maybe if they weren't so busy ripping off their customers they wouldn't have to worry about the customers ripping them off. read more
