You can do running laps around this Wal-Mart... or you can shop for an affordable laptop to travel with. I returned a couple times looking for something compact, purposeful, and affordable. The laptop I really wanted had to be ordered online. They allow it to be shipped to the store for pick up within 2 days. Of course the 2 day time frame doesn't work over a weekend. It wouldn't have arrived on time. I needed one that suited my needs as I had to leave for my sister's house in a couple days, and be able to continue working. I found one good enough for its functions. And now I love the laptop cuz it fits in my purse! This Wal-Mart is massive and has everything you need. If you're not picky about certain things like designer names; you'll find alot of household necessities, kitchen & consumption items, stuff for every room, and something for every family member including your pets. The only thing they didn't have was an almost-ceiling-tall cat scratch & napping tower. Anywhobees, shopping here eliminates the need to drive to 7 or so different stores, especially here in Temple, where driving local miles can eat up gas. read more

This complaint is regarding the Walmart store in Temple Texas on Adams. Jimmy is the best ambassador you have bar none and your 6am greeter is ok too but, the woman, and I don't know her name because today it was hidden, is plain and simple the worst customer service rep I have ever encountered. 1. Three weeks ago she stared at her phone at 0615 while I struggle at the self-checkout. 2. Two weeks ago she asked me, at 0715 and buying beer, "kinda early for that?" almost got a smack down for that one...biatch! nfb! 3. Last week after ignoring me at self-checkout, accosted me while I was having a neighborly chat with your greeter I've known since 2016 and demanded my receipt. what bs from a customer since they opened in 2016. no wonder I shop more often at HEB since I am never so rudely treated and or insulted! Never never never do curbside here. The wait for a scheduled pick up was 45 minutes!! Previously they emailed saying my scheduled pick up was delayed & they'd let me know when to pick up!! On 6/2/21 My wife went in to purchase some propane. Upon purchase she was informed she needed to go to the gas station since and pick up the propane since there was non left tin the store. When she arrived at the gas station a 25-20 year old Caucasian blonde women with a partially shaved head met with her. My wife explained she was there to pick up propane as directed by the store and showed her receipt. The women became immediately visibly upset and began cursing at my wife stating "WTF, that's what is supposed to happen and they know it", she went on yelling and cursing for about another minute and gave my wife the propane. Additionally, my wife felt threatened at this women was waving her hands in the air and balling her fists. When my wife arrived home I could tell she had been crying and was still shaking. Eventually she told me what took place, and I tried calling the store to speak to Management three separate times, twice being hung up on after being transferred, and once the phone just rang for about 3 min straight. This is absolutely a ridiculous situation, in which Management should have spoken to us about. They could have avoided this review and the corporate call I gave if they had just taken a moment to speak with us. read more

Ordered Walmart plus. Never received food order. It was delivered to incorrect house confirmed by delivery picture. Picture was of someone's gate not front door and that was not my gate. Attempted to call this store multiple times and they do not pick up their phones. Mistakes happen but poor customer service is NEVER acceptable. read more

We went to Walmart to shop, never again will we shop at Walmart. The bathrooms where filthy so filthy you couldn't use them. The fruits and veggies looked horrible i wouldn't eat them and some of the packaged foods where expired. The check out lines are long only 2 cashiers we ended up leaving our cart ( we don't use self check out). We went to h.e.b and had a great experience. We will never shop that filthy Walmart again we now only shop h.e.b or aldi. read more

I have had multiple problems with this location. From rude cashiers to the misleading auto service department. This was the final straw for me. I went to get my oil changed. There were two people in front of me to have their vehicles serviced and was informed it would be at least 50 minutes before my car would be ready to be picked up. Imagine my initial joy in finding out it was ready within 20 minutes. I was originally elated when I received the news. But, as I stood in line and my euphoria wore off from the surprise, the situation began to be very suspicious. I paid the bill and my keys were returned. I went out to my vehicle and decided to pop the hood and check things out. Upon inspection, much to my dismay, the oil had not been changed! The oil was still dirty. Yes I asked for synthetic oil. Yes I now synthetic oil is darker than regular motor oil. Despite try to give Walmart the benefit of the doubt ( I cleaned and rechecked the dipstick three time all with the same results) and politely showing and asking why it had not been changed. Them not knowing that I know how to do car maintenance, tried to pass off the contaminated oil off as new synthetic oil. At this point I decided I will never return to that particular Walmart ever again. Too many bad experiences there. read more

The curbside grocery section seems to be operated by a bunch of chimps who don't give one single fuck about doing their job correctly or with any sense of urgency. I've been waiting for over 40 minutes and called the number twice just to find out I was never checked in. Literally every time I come here your employees are either incredibly rude or they mess up my order or both. This is the kinda shit that causes me to go out of my way to go to the Belton store most of the time. You fuckin suck. read more

Waited over 30min for a propane exchange. Went in multiple times to try and get help. Finally found a manager and they didn't have their keys on them and had to wait another 15min for someone completely different that I guess was the only person with a key. read more

I have bought atleast 10 tires from Walmart in Belton and have brought some wheels for my drag truck into them to have tires mounted and balanced. They have always taken care of me and have never had to wait. They've been friendly and never give me a hassle. They are one of the few if not the only tire place open on Sundays, they are even open late. read more

Pockets and then told her that this was offensive. She said sorry. My point check everyone going out the store and post signage that all purchased are double verified. I get stopped after checkout and prior to exiting Walmart, not every time, and it appears to be protocol. They take receipt, look at whatever, and I am on my way. No harm, no foul, no problem. Theft from retail stores may raises prices for honest customers. read more

I am sick and tired of waiting in line to check out! Walmart is not paying me to check out and they never lost money during COVID as everyone went there. They are taking jobs away from those who need the jobs. I try very hard not to go to Walmart, despite it being close to where I live. Left over rotisserie chicken is no longer sold. I just dislike even going to Walmart and I refuse to touch all the germs on the self check out lanes. Produce is higher priced than elsewhere, buyer beware! If you ever need something from a locked cabinet be warned. Your going to be waiting awhile. Spent over 25 min waiting for manager to come over to the automotive section. If your going to lock stuff up I understand, but have someone available to unlock it. This was after multiple associates paged for a manager or key carrier to come over to the automotive section. read more

I am writing to get a resolution to a coupon experience this evening as well as a policy clarification. Store # 6929 Temple, Tx . Items of concern Cottonelle flushable wipes 42 ct $.179 & Rimmel singe eye shadow $2.95. Coupons used Cottonelle flushable wipes 42 ct or higher save $0.50 & Rimmel 1 eye product save $3. At self check out both coupons were accepted when scanned although prompted approval . Both coupons where printed from coupon.com in color. Taniesha the check out clerk stated they were no longer accepting paper/printed coupons. She placed to call, after returning she stated she was able to accept only one of the coupons. When questioned why, she showed me a laminated sheet titled " Automated Coupon Process" at the bottom it states not accepted with pictures of various coupons. She stated one of the coupons was over the product amount ( I explained I was not asking for overage as cash back, overage would simply be applied to cart. She replied that's what she was instructed to do. I then went to customer service to discuss with service manager. Greg the ASM was still unable to explain why the coupons where not approved even though the were accepted by the machine. When I read directly from the laminated sheet, it meet all the criteria for approval except coupon exceeds limit( in this instance, the $0.05 would be applied to overage). This is not the first time this has occurred & in both instances employees attitudes where not pleasant. I frequent this Walmart location most often. Clean with a courteous staff. They sometimes run low on certain grocery items towards the end of the weekend but I may just have bad timing. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I spend about $600 a month the Walmart only on food. A few months ago I bought four tires for my Jeep at Walmart which I've worked out great. Yesterday I found a screw in my tire so I took it to Walmart to the service center. Neil was great, however there's a little jerk named John who is going to drive away all business. He's rude, tries to talk down to you, doesn't ask you to do anything, he tells you too. It was only 10 AM and it tried to ruin my tire day. I will never go back to this location for service ever again because I don't want to encounter this miserable piece of human garbage. I asked the service desk about him because I thought maybe he was just having a bad day and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. They told me they always have problems with him. Red flag to manager. To top things off, I drop my jeep off and they told me they would call me when it was done. Six hours later I showed up without a phone call and they said it had been done for five hours. They said John never called. read more

I love this walmart way better than the other temple or Belton one. The store layout is much nicer and makes more sense to me. The store also seems clean and nicer than the others. They also have a good selection of art supplies and kitchen supplies which I often frequent. read more

When they opened in 2016 I took my vehicle to have an oil change, they messed up and I began to leak oil, I called to complain about it, and they would not accept responsibility. It takes more than 5 minutes to contact anyone by phone, even longer to reach the Automotive Service Department... they answer and place you on a hold for more than 5 minutes. read more

Service Department review. Brought my car in at 9:10 to get a plug put into the tire. I asked the guy how long it would take them to get it back to me, he said they'd have it done in 45 minutes and pulled it into the bay. After waiting an hour I finally saw a tech lift it up to get the tire off. Now it's 10:30 and I'm still waiting. Also, the one customer that was here before me to get an oil change and fix a flat had gotten here at 8:00 am and is also still waiting (@10:30). Won't be bringing my vehicle back here any time soon! read more
