Regardless, I will have it addressed eventually and would love to save you/other neighbors 20 min or so by calling in to the customer service line for the app rather than trying to complete this type of task in person during a grocery visit. It's not their fault, but after talking to three people and having them pause to question my inquiry about an in-store coupon that I could not scan because my app wasn't working , I realized that other people can go without the coupons and just move on. I don't have that type of budget so I was willing to wait. From check out line, to guest services (trouble shoot steps delete and reload app; called customer service and had a convo with through the guest services employee; login with number; login with email; login on browser 1 with email; login browser 2 with email; yet all ended in an error message and the customer service rep on the phone gave me a case number... they'll call or email me later...) and then back to the checkout for another halt to my shopping trip- although guest services told me to use the sheet she wrote down the coupons the cashier needed to manually type in - I was questioned and went through similar steps to get our $5 off of our groceries.

The store is laid out with fresh fruits and veggies as you go in, a plentiful amount of wines, beers and seltzers, and an abundance of employees ready to help you when you need. For at least the past year I've been able to get beautiful, dark-yolked eggs for $3.99 or less, even when other grocery stores were charging way more because of avian influenza-induced egg shortages. I'm sure it's a loss leader, but like the Costco rotisserie chickens it gets me in the door to spend money on other things. In general it is a pleasant shopping experience now that I know the store layout - it doesn't seem to get as crowded as other grocery stores and their staff are always nice. My one quibble would be with stocking of sale items - they often seem to be sold out and/or limited selection.

So I thought it be nice to have them just check and bag the groceries. I said at the beginning to the checker "I will need bags today". After she rang everything but the last item up she asked if I need bags. I said yes. She then said " you can grab them and start bagging". I said no I just finished a long day at work I'm not here to work more. She looked at me offended. I said "I'm really suppose to bag them?" She said "yes". I made a complaint to the manager and he sided with her saying " it's hard for me to believe she expected you to bag." He was very un polite and unprofessional to me. Many of the people working here are lazy and are not considerate to the customer.
