I'm extremely disappointed with this Walmart in Tracy. I went grocery shopping yesterday and purchased protein cheese sticks. My spouse took a bite before we realized they had been expired for almost ONE YEAR. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a refrigerated dairy product. Customers should be able to trust that food on the shelves is safe and properly checked. Thankfully we noticed, but only after my spouse had already eaten some of it. 1/7/26- Paper bags tear too easy from how much the cashier packs into the bag. The bags have no handles and they still use the rotating bag holder where the sturdy plastic bags used to be. One bag was heavier than the other. When I lifted the heavier bag it tore. Walmart cahiers need to be taight how to pack a Walmart bag to not make them too heavy. They are still stuffing as much as the can into it just like when they had plastic bags Walmart needs paper bags with handles at least.. read more

Honestly coming to Walmart can be a hit or miss, however I've realized coming to the store with my Trader Joe's bags & my personal shopping cart, when they barely open. It's such a smooth shopping experience. & everything is organized. read more

The only real positive thing I can say about this store is that it is well organized and clean. On the other hand, half the employees are polite and willing to go out of their way to help you. The other half of the employees are rude and don't want to go out of their way to help you at all. From personal experience I've had employees give me attitude for no reason and be disrespectful or simply ignore me when asking for help even though they wear vests that say "Happy to Help". If you have a problem, don't bother contacting management. Unless you go into the store to attempt to meet with them directly, they don't bother calling you back to assist with resolving the issue. If you call the main number for assistance through HR or the Operator all it does is ring. Good paying customers deserve better treatment. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service at this Walmart. Instead of helping customers and paying attention to their needs, some employees seem more focused on scrolling through their phones and avoiding work. I waited for assistance while employees stood around, and the lack of urgency and professionalism was frustrating. Went inside Walmart for TV wall mount. Store was pretty clean and organized for the amount of people in there. There was a line for the registers at self checkout that took a while. They dont have Apple Pay which is annoying seeing that it's 2024. In good news, BBQ lighter 2 pack was on clearance for 88 cents. read more

Probably the most heinous Walmart ever. I tried calling the customer service. I couldn't get a hold of them. I called them at 8:00 am in the morning and tried again a couple hours later--still no response. I even got transferred from the pharmacy to the customer service, yet nobody answered AGAIN. You can't pay with Apple Pay. I couldn't even purchase my groceries at the line. Oh, and speaking of lines, if you don't want to wait for 30 minutes in line, I recommend not going here. Terrible. Ordered pickup for two items, waited almost 20 minutes. They said one of my items weren't in the store, I walked in the store and there was multiple of them like not just one or two a whole entire shelf and the funny thing is they were right next to the other item I ordered and they found , they were locked behind the case, called for someone and waited another whole 10 minutes for someone to come. You must bring a physical card or cash to the store. They do not accept Apple Pay and the cell signal is poor so even if you download the Walmart app per their request and sign up to pay that way, it is still impossible. We are an elderly couple and have a pickup for grocery a half hour ago. There are people parked in the pick-up stalls with no one in the cars. how am I supposed to get my groceries from you if there is no way to talk to anyone or even a security person to get them to move their cars. I have a question. I have an appointment for my car in the auto center and yet it takes almost two hrs before the car gets worked on. Why would you schedule only one mechanic in handling two cars for oil change at a time? I even dropped off my vehicle a half hour early prior to my appointment. If you are an older person, disabled. Or having mobility problems boycott this store! I work for the Tracy Seniors Aoociation. I took a very frail client there today. No electric carts were anywhere to be seen. When I NC asked where they were, I was told people leave them in the parking lot but the staff just leaves them there. I was told it was MY responsibility to go out in the parking lot and find one. I have a very bad back and my only option was a cart with a chair at the front. My client bought nearly $200 in groceries and I was left wheeling her around for 2 hours. Then we went to checkout and was told they no longer have baggers. However, our cashier was nice enough to bag everything and put the bags in the cart Then I asked if someone could help unload the them in my cart. You think they have staff to do that? I bought the wrong printer ink and went to customer service to return the. I wanted a refund for one and to exchange the other one. After waiting for csr for 15 minutes i received a refund and then told I had Togo to the back of the store to exchange the other one and bring the correct item back to customer service. I had to wait another 1/2 hour to get help in that department. ithenwentback to customer service with new item. And since there was a price change I had to wait another 45 minutes for a manager to approve the price change. I was then sent back the back of the store again saying I needed the original item I exchanged i di that and once again I had towait15 minutes to finally complete the exchange. the I was told I should have just returned both items for refund and purchase the correct item. Went to Walmart for a simple battery change from their auto department. I asked them to take a precaution when changing the battery and use a battery saver or leave the car running on my specific type of vehicle. But they didn't and it fowled up my CD player. Came back immediately but they couldn't resolve it so they sent me to the dealer. They couldn't so I came back and spoke to a manager and she said they would reimburse me for analysis and repair but then second manager said she didn't know what she was talking about and they wouldn't pay for it and then I got into a shouting match with another manager who literally walked away from our conversation. Needless to say I had to elevate this to Walmart corporate and file a complaint and a claim. Still waiting for approval so TBC. And still have a bad CD player. Passport picture review I came here a few months ago to get passport pictures. The guy at the photo center was professional. He took a few pictures of me and showed them to me and said, "this one is with flash, this one with no-flash" and asked me to pick which one I liked. I was kinda like wow. He was friendly and so I felt comfortable asking him if he could do a re-take b/c I didn't like them. The service was pretty good and I left happy with my pictures. For 2 pics, it's about $7. super cheap compared to other places. I returned a few days ago to get another set of pictures taken and was expecting the same experience. This time the lady was nothing like the guy who had helped me. The lady just took the pictures and goes "ok come back in 15". She didn't offer to show them to me like the other guy, so I go, "Can I see them?". She hesitantly showed them to me and had an attitude about it and so I said, "I'm paying for them afterall, I should see them" She showed me 1 photo which looked okay-ish. It was a zoomed out pic. When I picked them up, I looked terrible. That wasn't the picture she had shown me. I guess she took others and used the worst one. read more

I was amazed when I walked into this Walmart it is huge and has SO much I could spend all day here just walking through each aisle checking out what they have. I just did a quick run through to grab a few painting items that we needed and they actually sell paint here they have a paint mixer and everything. My Walmart does not have this. We are not from Tracy we were on our way to Manteca to help a family member paint and stopped here to grab a few brushes and I am Already planning a trip back just so I can stop here again with lord free time to roam free Store was clean when we were there employees were nice and friendly customers seemed normal and it was not crowded. read more

This is a convenient walmart for me but the customer service is suck, really suck. I went to customer service area because I don't have change for lotto machine. You have to have sort of exact change. So, I said Hi to a lady who worked there but she just looked at me and continued what she was doing. I watched her patiently as she work then a minute later she look back and said hi. I raised my hand with lotto form and she said, are you buying lotto? (Well duh, yeah)I said, Yes!
