From the outside, this place looked like a "smaller" version of the Stockton's Marshalls, Not sure if the parking lot is usually unkempt, as we parked next to a shopping cart full of trash.. We were so surprised as we stepped through the door, our reaction was in comparison to when Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz filmed from B&W & then turned in to COLOR... amazing! I was so pleased by the pleasant personality of Jessie at the register when checking out. It was late, minutes before closing and she was as polite as if she just started her day. However, my distraction and surprise at her continued helplessness knowing I was unable to carry it all I had set my phone down previously and didn't think of it until I was driving home. I returned and a gracious teenage called into the store and the woman who answered even after the store closed was so extremely polite! I waited on the phone while they searched the store repeatedly calling my phone. I was handed my phone with a smile and so thankful for such polite service! I returned 2 days later with a return and Jessie remembered me and was so helpful because I needed to exchange an item and she expedited the transaction to make it so smooth and easy. Perfect location in a big plaza right next door to Ross and near other businesses (WinCo, Petsmart, Home Depot, etc.) with plenty of parking! There are also many restaurants, hotels and even car dealerships nearby! Oh and Walmart, Target, and Tracy Mall nearby too! What more can one ask for?! Everything is all here!! Marshall's in Tracy does not consider helping shoppers with disabilities a priority. Today, I went in the store which I rarely do for health reasons. I walked the perimeter of the store founds some deals. I got to the line which was at least 10 people. I stood in the line but then my body no longer wanted to cooperate and I did not bring my walker in thinking that I could just lean on the shopping cart-which worked until I had to stand stationary. I then went to the end register where the manager and a cashier were chatting and explained me situation and if he could help. The answer was no you have to STAND in line. I asked if I could speak to someone else, no just him. I asked for the phone number so that I could call for a complaint he said he had it in his phone and had to go get it. As he walked away I noticed a chair in the corner behind the register area that I could sit in. I sat and waited about 10 minutes. He still said that I had to go stand in-line. I don't understand why since he was not checking anyone out he could not say ok wait here I know who is at the end of the line and you will be after them. I let extremely disheartened. How can you work in customer service as a manager but not provide customer service. We can not look at anyone and know if they are disabled. Please consider this before shopping here, a discount at what cost! read more

I love the chain of stores, but this one has the worst bathrooms. First of all, to all the moms who shop there WARNING, NO DIAPER CHANGER! which is mind blowing because I'm sure most of their customers are mothers. Second of all the bathrooms are beyond filthy. I told one of the employees and she said in broken english Saturday and Sunday. Idk what that means. Get someone over their, clean it, and restock the frikkin toilet paper.Then she asked if I needed anything to wipe.. smh Please note the poo smear on the floor in one of the pics. Filthy!! read more

the most frustrating thing I can come up with is not being able to use my account/credit card here to gain points because I left my card at home( my fault but I rarely shop here or use this card that's partnered with Homegoods, TJMaxx and a few other companies.) I do not understand why it is so difficult to look up my acct with my phone number or Driver's license as a form of identification. I have six other methods to prove who I am to charge $120 worth of items. I was even able to pull up my online account to show them my limit and zero balance! Other major department stores are capable of pulling up my account to verify me in a matter of minutes. I even called customer service and attempted to look at past online statements but for some reason they don't give me the option to look at my past statement accounts. Smh. I would like to thank them for being so stringent to protect my account and fraud but damn even I can't even access my account in the store with all forms of identification. If I person was willing to make a fake ID, credit account, online access, walk in and stand in the stores many many many cameras to steal $120 worth then man I think they deserve that merchandise and Applause. It's funny how they sure CAN verify me With a paper application with just an picture driver's ID when I first opened my account and gave me a nice spending limit but the verify me subsequently?!!!! The icing on the cake was when I was not able to push out the cart to where my car was parked. Normally I would have left everything and went shopping somewhere else but I already wasted my time so I paid for it anyways in other forms. I told them I'll pay for it now only to come back when I'm in the area to return and to recharge it on their card. I was given the option for items to be held but idk when I'll be free to come back to shop here or any other Marshall's by the end of the day week or month. read more

I want to thank Susan E for the spectacular service and making sure I was able to find the right items I needed. Also, the service here in general is amazing and all employees are always smiling and making sure all the customers are accommodated. I love how they have many products to choose from and compared to other Marshall's which are always nearly empty this one never disappoints. The price here are great and never over priced. I love coming out here when I'm in Tracy visiting. read more

I like that we have this store in Tracy. I find that the selections here compared to the store right next door is much better and worth your time digging through their merchandise. The store is clean and well organized and you can hardly find any unopened or damaged items. The price comparisons to the competition next door is also great and I always ended up finding things I think I need. Checkout lines were commendable since you don't have to wait long for you to get checked out. They're fast and friendly and they don't push you to get their credit card. Keep filling them clearance sections and I'll be one happy camper (hey I'm frugal and I'm not afraid to admit it) read more

Marshall's is one of my favorite stores of all time. I recently moved and I've been in here a handful of times. Before the pandemic/close, there were several super c*nty sales associates. Just like this one cashier super rude n said that lotion and etc was final sale without me asking the return policy. Like yes, I understand that there are a lot of fake/bad returns. I'm a former Marshall's employee. So trust me, I know a bad return when I see one. But our store allowed returns of beauty products if the product turned out to be spoiled or caused an allergic reaction. Like I bought a PerriconeMD eyecream one time and it was dried out/basically empty when I opened the container n returned it no problem. I gave the store 3 stars because I had a much better experience during the reopening. Otherwise I would have kept my review at 1 star. The brand's are lacking. N the selection is small. But this is also half the size of what I'm used I'm also used to seeing more free people,c&c, Hudson, cloth&stone, true religion, etc. Also the beauty aisle is sad. Sometimes* clinique n strivectin but have yet to see PerriconeMD. Here they just have names like michael kors and lucky brand. Each Marshall's caters the brands to the neighborhood's demographic. So the lack of desirable brands and products here isn't the store's fault. It says more about what a dump Tracy is as a town. So if you were looking for designer name brands, this is definitely NOT the right Marshall's. But if u wanted something simple or don't care about the names so much, this marshalls is decent. I met with Breshna showed Me the available sport items for boys and shoes. and if they didn't have it she checked with they floor supervisor to confirm if they ever get that kind of sport merchandise. I'm obsessed with Marshalls! They have the best deals on the greatest things! I've been to many and this store is one of my favorites. They keep it very clean and organized. They recently just remodeled some of it and their new dressing room is great. Small selection of clothing. Seems they cater mainly to teens in the women's department. I would like to see more Jones New York or Anne Klein business suits. Also dislike that they started price tagging the shoes with the plastic ties you see on clothes. They actually puncture the leather. Whoever thought of that idea is an idiot. You're happy to get a pair of brand name shoes for less and then you see Marshalls put a hole on it and damaged the leather. . read more

This place is always organized and has great deals. The employees are helpful and the merchandise is always on point and stocked. Clean floors and restrooms. The only thing I would say prevents this from being a 5 star review is the fact that Ross just moved in right next door and has better deals and is still very well organized and stocked. Ross seems to be giving them a run for their money. Yes, the labels are a little higher end than Ross, but in this day and age, I think we could all afford to save a few dollars. We're gone back dozens of times now. We've spent far too much on clothes and shoes but, with the quality and the prices at this Marshalls its pretty hard to resist. The list of great stuff we have scored is too long to include here but some examples: Cole Haan dress shoes with leather soles $49. Timberline boots $29. Thick, soft cashmere sweater $16 Weather-proof, name brand jacket (at Macy's for $189) for just $29 Sometimes finding just the right item for an incredible price takes some looking. It's also good to know that the store receives stock and does most of it's discounting mid-week so you'll find more bargains on a Wednesday than on a weekend. I used to hate clothes shopping. But patronizing this Marshalls the quality of our wardrobe has improved dramatically at very little cost. My wife got a Marshalls credit card and, on top of already great prices, she gets a $10 gift certificate in the mail for every two hundred dollars we spend. If you've got a large family or are just thrifty and appreciate quality clothing and shoes, you should give Tracy Marshalls a try. read more

Man oh man. I live for these stores. Big, full, large variety, I've had a couple not-so-great experiences. One of which was a couple arguing about stealing. We notified the manager & he did absolutely nothing. That made us feel really safe. Also, if he didn't care, why do I pay for everything I want when you allow the stealing. The theft is really an issue and they just allow it. The bathrooms are regularly used by homeless people who leave a bad stench throughout the store. I'm not say it's the personas fault however... there is no regulation what so ever in this business. On to the employees.... they're often stocking; which is amazing, but, don't bother them unless you want attitude. Not to mention they don't like their customers... that's the big issue. Marshall's is a lot like a TJ Maxx, but they don't have the same amount of jewelry or accessories. I think TJ Maxx has better shoes, too, on average. The makeup section here has really been demolished. A lot of the packages were opened and had been used. The clearance is good, though! I got a cute makeup bag here for $7! read more

If I can give no stars I would. We just moved here from the bay area so of course I'm excited to go shopping for new things. Ive never at the worst experience at a Marshall's before then today. The store manager "Sean" has to be the most unprofessional ,rudest, low class person on Earth. My family and I walked in, we get greeted of course and like any other Marshall's you have to look for certain items, I get to the furniture area where it's on the same row as the toy section. My kids get so excited and run to this big huge electric car. Of course my son gets in it and my oldest are standing around them looking at it. I see Sean go in that area, and I hear him tell them to get off it it. Which i said to my self of course someone's going to buy that I'm sure they can't sit in it. okay fine so my oldest helps him get off of it so they walk to the next aisle, well their goes Sean behind them saying don't touch that go find your parents. So by this time I'm behind him, and again he raises his Voice and tells my son "BRO, GO to your parents".I said hay is there a problem? He said with a smile, No mam, I'm just asking them to not play with the toys because I'm going to clean here? To not play with the toys in the toy section? I clearly let him know that's no way to talk to children that are not yours. I couldn't believe how he was talking to my kids. My husband heard me and he came running. I felt so insulted that someone spoke to my kids like that. I will definitely be contacting the District/ General Manager. I really liked this Marshall's until last night. I was at the cash register my 14 year old beside me. There was a cashier at the 1st register by the door. I was paying at the last register way across the way. All the sudden hear her in a very loud voice speaking in a very demeaning way to someone and said "don't do that, leave it alone". She was loud, very ghetto spoke like she was talking to one of her project kids. And I heard my son say "I'm Sorry", so I turned and said is she talking to you? He said yea! My kids are very well behaved and respectful and I've always taught them to respect their elders and have manners. My son even apologized when he shouldn't have to, I didn't want to make a scene and have my son witness it, but I was furious!! First of all, she has no right to address anyone like that unless it's your kid if that's the way she talk to them. But at a place of business you don't talk to anyone that way, specially not someone else's kids. None the less while their parent is right beside them. If my kid was doing something he shouldn't have, come to where we are and say so, don't holla at him from the door. I asked MELISSA the store manager if she would override the price. If your looking for good deals, then this is your store! They have a wide selection of clothes, shoes, toys, bags, electronics, home decor, and much more for great prices. My favorite section (like most girls) is the shoes. They have a variety of sandals, boots, wedges, heels, flats, athletic shoes, etc. They have designer shoes like Steve Madden and Guess for half the price! The shoe department is kept pretty organized so sizes are easy to find. The only downside is that sizes can go pretty fast. Clothes and bags can be hit or miss. Sometimes you have to really search to find the good stuff. They have a wide variety of apparel from casual, to dressy, to athletic wear. This section can also be messy and disorganized especially when you move towards the clearance stuff. Other great things to checks out: They have great deals on perfumes, but your can't open the bottles, so you should know what you like before purchasing. Today Marshalls is always uprgrading their store and recently redesigning the internal structure as well but overall everything seems to fit! I come here to find my basic necessities, whether a dress for an upcoming event, or a new dog harness. They have a center for everyone- Ladies, Juniors, Boys, Girls, Babies and Men. They are a discount bargain store that sells furniture, clothes, utensils, bath and bed items, and animal clothes. i really enjoy browsing through their aisles and sections because they always bring in something new and classy. They sell designer shoes and purses, and also designer belts. They have anything you need if you look hard enough. You can usually get something new here, like exercise clothes, new sporting goods and other important necessities. Marshalls is one of my go to's when I'm on a shopping spree. Also Marhalls is conveniently located walking distance from Ross and WinCo, so you can get 2 stores in one and get you grocery shopping done as well. Its basically a win win situation you won't want to pass up. read more
