This Walmart needs to be shut down.. They have the worst customer service I would give then a zero.. They are so rude and unprofessional.

Aside from the typical long check out lanes that Walmart is known for, we didn't have any issues getting in and out of this store. No one approached us in the parking lot trying to sell anything (although it was raining) and the store seemed to be well stocked and maintained. I feel silly for reviewing a Wal Mart, but here I am. The Tucker Wal Mart is bad. And when I say it's bad, I don't mean it's bad in a "Wal Mart vs Target" sort of way- I mean it's a bad store when compared to other Wal Marts. The store is disorganized- when shelves are stocked, they'll be messy. It's also crowded- one of the reasons I really hate going there is that it's so difficult to get around in the more popular sections. Their grocery selection is extremely poor. And I've run into more people asking for money or suspiciously loitering around the front of the store or parking lot at this store than at any other Wal Mart. One tip- you can often get in and out of the store relatively quickly if you use the garden dept. entrance. They're in the process of doing some renovations on the store now.. there are now self checkout lanes, and parts of the store that have been renovated are slightly cleaner and neater. But I'd still recommend going elsewhere if you have the choice. read more

Horrible. If you are thinking about getting your car serviced, THINK AGAIN! Absolutely slow and unorganized. The workers do not clearly communicate what you are there for to each other. Sat for 2 hours after being the 1st car to arrive. And when they were finally done it was utterly unorganized to get me out the door. The "manager" was trying to spew directions that the workers had already done. Just give me my keys please. read more

As Wal-Marts go, this one is poor. Bad customer service (even on the Wal-Mart scale); unclean; poor management. The one bright spot is that, if you're looking for a Wal-Mart-only item which has sold out elsewhere, you're likely to find it here. The negatives at this store conspire to make the merchandise hang around longer, so you can find things here long after they're history elsewhere. POOR MANAGEMENT! I live 5 minutes from this location and go to the Stone Mtn location since my first bad experience at Tucker Walmart. The first time there was a lacky working in the garden center who wouldn't come down off her ladder to open another register considering there were about 11 people in line, I called Management. I said I would never go back! However, yesterday morning I gave it one more try and it is my LAST TIME I WILL EVER GO THERE. It was about ten am when I needed car accessories, which are in the back of the store, bird seed and ac/heat filters which are also in the back. I entered thru the garden center because the cluster of cars at the main entrance is a deterrent for me to every park there; and after walking around for 20 minutes gathering my things THERE WAS NO CASHIER in the garden center. I don't mean she/he had walked away for a bit, there was no one! The cash drawer was open and on the check out stand (empty) and the other one had a closed sign. I literally stood there for five full minutes, called down to bedding for an assistant to find her, she yelled someones name, no one came! I left my things and got in my car. I called inside and asked for the manager, Sabrina asked if she could help me, I explained, she apologized etc...Yet, while i was in the garden center an elderly woman and I were both waiting for the non-existent cashier and I ran into this woman 25 minutes later at the Stone Mtn location garden center. SHE HAD TO WALK UP FRONT TO GET A CASHIER in Tucker and said she found her in stationary? Huh? It is my time, money and patronage and the if the garden center is open there should be a cashier to appreciate my time, take my money, and thank me for my patronage. I hear the management from this locale is going to the new one in Decatur. Yikes!!!! At this point, I am forwarding this Yelp review to the corporate office in Arkansas. This is a fairly nice store. When I go here I find lots of good deals. Grant it, it's the cheap stuff I need around to house. I really don't buy my food here but it's decent. I would recommend it to my friends. I give this store three stars. Stock up better on the t-shirts. Good store! read more

I'm never walking back in here. I bought my item, and grabbed my documents from the Vision Center so I never have to come in again! This is the worst Walmart store I've ever been to! I live a bike-ride away, amazing convenience but forget it. I'm a Manager at a retail store myself and I cannot believe how ugly the behavior of the staff is. I came in at 10AM. I know it's early, but It's a great day, I say hello to every staff member I come across several, just like I do with customers at my job I say hello and good morning, but only one acknowledged me and responded. Once I find my ONE item, It's time for the checkout lines. It's only a little after 10, but there is already people with full carts, trolls abusing the '10 items or less' lane... so i keep walking. I skip the Self Checkout and I see there is an open cashier, I said, "Hi! How're you doing", she doesn't even say hello, she doesn't even look at me, she just has this blank stare on her and mumbles in a low droned voice "It'll be a while" and I said, "Okay"... it didn't look like she was about to really do anything, then she says, "You can go to lanes 12 and 13", her light was on, she had no customers, no merchandise around her... why is she telling me to go to these registers where people have filled their carts with an obscene amount of junk when I have one item in my hand? This made me so angry. As a manager I know what I expect from my own staff, and this girls attitude was just horrible. I immediately went to the self Checkout, next to her. And then I walked straight into the WalMart Vision center and asked that they give my my prescription documents. You lost a customer forever. Worst WalMart I have ever been to in my life! I can't believe I continued to shop here for years, but Target is right up the road and I'd be happier giving them my money. read more

I live 5 minutes down the street LITERALLY, and I will drive to another Walmart location just to avoid the Tucker location. The parking lot and entrance always seems to have a lot of "interesting" folks hanging around and it's not uncommon to see a Dekalb PD vehicle parked out front. The customer service sucks and they only have a few registers open during the weekends. One afternoon I was trying to do some light grocery shopping and I just stopped what I was doing and left the store because there were too many idiots (half of them probably don't even speak any English) in the way who can't seem to navigate through the aisles correctly and get out of the freaking way. I avoid this store mainly because of the type of people who frequent this location. They make the shopping experience more of hassle than it needs to be. Open more registers so people can get in and get out! read more

Their Auto Care Center is horrible totally taking to long to change an oil my estimated time was 45-60min waiting and only one car was in front me but my waiting went to 180min/3hrs since they passed me another customers and I don't where that privilege comes from, just horrible day that I lost my time and my plans, I'll not recommend this place to have an oil change unless you wanna wait for that long. read more

I love Wal-Mart. There, I said it. Buuuut, not this Wal-Mart. The employees here remind me of government employees, though not quite as bad as the ones in the post office. I made the mistake of grabbing some hot food at the deli since all of the grocery shelves were empty of everything else I needed. This Walmart is in bad need of a remodel and expansion. It's hard to maneuver through the isles. They seem to be always out of stuff and customer service is terrible except for the pharmacy which was friendly and helpful. Stuff is stacked everywhere. I only go here because chamblee walmart is too far for me even though it is much cleaner and nicer than this location. read more

"Customer service" here is non existent! Was trying to return something and instead of just doing her job the costumer service lady lied about Walmart's return policies (I confirmed this my reading them on Walmart.com) and then when I told her she was wrong she got belligerent and rude and it took all I had to walk out of the store instead of slapping her across the face for talking to myself and my wife like that. This is probably the worst Walmart I've ever been too. It's almost always crowded. Items not stocked. Items out of date (like 3 day expired milk) . The layout of the store is a mess. Workers could care less. I think it's a bit creepy (even if its by a police station). Find somewhere else. I just drove farther and bought from somewhere I could tolerate being in. read more

This has to be the worst Wal-Mart store. It is nasty and the staff is too busy avoiding customers if they think they might have to do something. I have visited this store weekly only because it is 5 minutes from work. Example: On at least 3 ocassions within the last 3 months I have gone in to purchase Sam's 20 oz water cases and there are none in the water section so I ask someone in their storage unti and on 2 of those ocassions they bring them out to me and said they were in the back. Today I did the same thing and the sales clerk stuck her head in and said do we have water and someone yelled out no. (Not what kind or size). I told her I needed 5 cases and she said they were out....and my reply was how do you run out of your own water and she says people drink alot of water..........This is not the only product this has happened on. Walmart should be embarrassed to have their name on that store it is horrible. read more

For instance, I was doubled charged for a set of items. Eventually went to customer service they didn't help me nor could understand basic math. I live in Doraville. Of all the walmart stores surrounding Doraville this one is the BEST. It looks like it is an older walmart store so the interior layout is a bit odd BUT it is clean and it is not too crowded. There is also more than one lane open with an actual employee/person checking you out. How weird is that?!?!? If you must go to walmart then I would recommend going to this one. read more

I had to get the oil changed in the ol' Jeep, so I headed over to the Wal-Mart in Tucker since it's the closest one to me with a Tire & Lube Express (which would be a great name for a gay bar, but I digress). Why Wal-Mart, you ask? My Jeep's mileage is well over the six-figure mark, so I like to get the high-mileage oil and I like something to do other than watch Maury while my vehicle is being worked on. For many years, this was one of my least favorite Wal-Mart's in Walmartdom. It's not a Supercenter, and the store is older and dirtier than, say, the one in Chamblee. That, however, looks like it is about to change. They are apparently turning this store into a Supercenter. I immediately noticed the floors were newer and the lighting is better than on my last visit. They also have half the store blocked off, which means, for the time being, you have an entire store in half the space. But I, ever the eternal optimist, am giving the Tucker Wal-Mart a solid 3. They are trying to make the store better, and I was able to get my oil changed in less than 30 minutes. read more

This is not a bad Walmart. It's bright, clean, organized and well stocked. However, some of the people that work there can make an otherwise good shopping experience go downhill really quickly. I was just about done when I stopped by the deli. The woman working there was talking to another employee on the other side of the food case. She pretended to be filling a container but she was only stirring the food in the case. She was determined not to acknowledge me. I finally interrupted their conversation and asked if there were any rotisserie chickens. She said no. I asked if there was any fried chicken. She said no again. It wasn't late; around 7:00 pm. By now several other employees had gathered at the deli case, standing in front of me so I'm nowhere near the deli case. They were having a great time, laughing and chatting, oblivious to the fact that a customer might want to buy some food. I left the deli to check out and leave. Ignored again and no chicken for me. read more

This store is terrible. The stock answer you get from a salesperson is "I don't know." Many of the cashiers don't speak/comprehend English at all, and this makes check-out frustrating (not to mention the broken self-pay machines), and endless lines. The Pharmacy Department is the worst - if you drop an Rx off, they will tell you it will be ready in 24 hours. If you tell them you must have it that day, they will tell you it will be ready in 4 hours. Since this store opened, they have had over one-dozen managers. This store is a wreck - go to the Lilburn location instead. You'll be glad you did. read more

-Pick up the glasses. Sign paperwork for them. The lady just gave them to me and had me sign the paperwork. Did not try them on. -Take them home and test them out. Proscription is too strong (Contacts are okay). -Call to let the doctor know. She says she can see me and check on this. She assures me this is a quick visit, in under 30 mins or less and schedules me for a noon appt. -Show up at noon. Check with the receptionist. She looks at me quizzically when I explain why I am there. "If your contacts work, then your glasses should work." Well, you'd think. That's why I'm seeing the doctor. -Wait 20 mins. -Another receptionist comes to me and tells me that she spoke with the doctor, and if I want to be seen then I'll need to pay for this visit. That's a conversation that could have occurred on the phone. She said that it's been too long between end of December to May for my eyes to change. Well riddle me this--my contacts work just fine. The glasses don't. Perhaps someone should check on the actual pair of glasses to make sure they were made correctly? Or perhaps they could have called me on the phone to let me know they were going to charge for ANOTHER eye exam. Perhaps they could have been on time so I didn't have to wait for nothing. -Not going back. I suggest you go to a doctor's office that values your time and customer service and efficiency. read more
