Went there for a clothes rack. The first problem is it says In stock in store so I drive an hour to buy it. When I get to the store it is in fact not in stock however I'd already driven all this way so I might as well get something else. I settle for a different item I scan it check the price $49.99 I get to the front and wait in the EXTREMELY long line and find out the price is $59. I ask the young lady to fix the price and she tells me "in store and online price are two different things." In all of my years of coming here NEVER has this been a problem. So of course I ask her to price match seeing as most big name stores do. Examples being TARGET or bestbuy. She looks at me and tells me they do not price match. But a simple google search says that they do. (Via picture) So I took it out of my cart and went to target and got a better one instead. Between barely being able to move through the aisles and the rude employees who ignored me when I tried to even locate the furniture aisle. I would rather pay extra for actual good service at target or drive the 20 minutes to the westbury Walmart. read more

This place never has enough of an item or have the item at all. As a "super mart" they should have an abundance of items. The staff isn't friendly and things are all over the place. This is the only Walmart close to brooklyn and queens so they should know the traffic there going to get and be able to provide for their customers. Today after my purchase the cashier threw my receipt and closed her register. We went to the bathroom shortly anf there she was. Even if you got to pee sis be kind to your client that's helping fund your check. It's the courtesy for me! I've worked retail before so I know the frustrations however I also understood that the customers that are nice shouldn't be treated that way. The parking lot is dangerous. Cars do not yield to pedestrians at all. It is near impossible to find a shopping cart. As soon as you walk in you will notice that it is crowded. I have never been to a Walmart where every single isle is packed with people. Most of the shelves were empty or cleaned out. I'm sure a lot of items get pocketed everyday. Kids run around like its a playground as parents do not care. It's almost as if they want their kids to get hurt so they can sue. It's disgusting. The lines for checkout were insanely long. My cashier was flirting with a food stamps baby daddy as he had a shopping cart that made you think he was running a juice bar. It was like watching a kid playing with legos as he struggled to put all his drinks on the cart. The line kept building up, at no point did the cashier help or at least advise him to hurry up. No common courtesy from either of them. Finally, the last bit of torture from this experience, came at the end, where as I was leaving two employees were trying to sell Spectrum cable to me. This is a place to get in, grab your items and leave. I do not suggest perusing aisles in a leisurely manner. Get in and get out should be the motto here. No stop signs and lots of cart accidents. Proceed with extreme caution. Customers have always been helpful and kind to me. Yes I said it CUSTOMERS. On more than one occasion when I couldn't locate an item, on seeing the confused look on my face A CUSTOMER stepped in and assisted. Staff not so much. The few times I've seeked assistance from staff I was properly told off leaving me very afraid to approach them in the future. Note well, I usually don't scare easily. Prices are reasonable but be careful when choosing products. Quality can be an issue and the return line (customer care- what a joke) is my best friend. Totally in agreement with the previous reviewers. This is the WORST Walmart I've ever encountered. I have had my share of Walmarts & this by far beats out the Westbury Walmart by a gazillion %! This place wreaks of ratchetness & ghetto shoppers. The lines are outrageous. The parking lot was packed over capacity. We had to literally drive around for 15 mins until we found something. Why on earth was it jammed pack at 1pm on a Thursday? The world may never know. It was mind blogging. I thought it was the grand opening or they were giving something away. Last effort! If I had options for a Walmart I would not visit this store. I went in to return a vaccum I had bought that was missing parts. The customer service wss super quick and without drama. Kudos to that team! However, the rest of a store was a mess. None of three items that I had confirmed online were in the store, the clerks couldn't be found and everything was super frustrating. I don't understand where all the negative reviews are coming from here. I've had nothing but positive experiences at this location. I either fly solo or with my elderly mother.... you know those old ladies who are accidentally annoying with the cart too close or putting her stuff on the belt before you're done being rung up? There has never been a time anyone was rude or even visibly impatient on staff or even customers. Every time I'm ready to lose my mind I hear someone call her Mama. Your cart is over here. Let me help you with that. How many did you want? Humanity at its finest! The one time I took her to a Whole Foods after a day at MSK I had to Explain that she had just seen a Karen in the wild... Products? All of the Great Value products have been excellent except for some pickles that were sweeter and less tangy than I expected, but that's on me. I play games with old lady to keep her mind sharp. Dinner for two and husband takes leftovers for lunch next day $3.00. Dinner party for 2 couples for $10.00. Definitely can be done. I rolled up this morning at about 6:15. It was swarming with staff. Sweeping, restocking, organizing, etc. Everyone I passed said Good Morning. Every shelf looked full, no line at checkout. The kid in front of me on line was a staffer just getting off his shift apparently with a lady friend who also works there buying a gaming monitor. If anyone cares, this is mostly a bike review of a Mongoose excursion from Walmart. I barely ever go to Walmart for anything but I couldn't help it when it came to their bicycle prices. My son is growing out of his old 16" huffy bike. He was probably overdue for a new bike too. I checked various stores (Dicks's, target, spin city cycle, spokesman) and had him test ride some. Their bikes were much pricier, $400 and up for a decent bike. After checking out Walmart's site for bikes, I YouTube some of their mongoose bikes and it was mostly positive. The Walmart reviews on mongoose weren't so good so I had to take a look at these bikes in person and inspect it myself. I checked out the mongoose excursion 24". They have a girl's version in stock too, plenty of both btw. I was originally looking for the mongoose brawler bmx bike but I couldn't find it even though the site said it was in stock. The excursion was my second choice. It's a mountain bike, 21 speeds, disc brakes, and front shocks. $198 in store for the built one, online they had a different color that's in a box for $138 w/ free shipping. I took my time with this bike around the store. I rode it up and down the aisles, it felt pretty sturdy and durable. I inspected all the excursions on the racks and picked the one that I felt was built better than the rest. Some bikes had very loose brake levers, scratches on the frame and seat post, missing reflectors. I used one of the tire pumps off the shelf to inflate the mongoose and took a stroll, bounced it around a bit to test its shocks and it worked and felt perfectly fine for a budget mountain bike. I lubricated the chain when I got home and took it for another spin around our neighborhood and it's a solid bike. So for those who question if the mongoose excursion bike is durable? It held up just fine during my test. The checkout process was so slow. There's tons of registers and self checkout but everyone is so slow over here. I also picked up and1 shoes for my son. He runs through shoes so fast. Fits comfortably and affordable. I saw Shaq's shoes but they only came in white. *March 3, 2022 Update* The bike is holding up well. I've read many negative reviews and seen some negative YouTube reviews but so far so good. It shifts fine, no issues with the chain after lubing it up. The tires hold up well on a easy going trail. The shocks are fine for a child, no problems yet. The one thing I don't like about this bike are the disc brakes. The stopping power isn't as good as I hoped it to be especially when riding downhill. Not really worth upgrading on a kid's bike, maybe a few tweaks can resolve this issue. The rear reflectors easily loosen up even after tightening and start touching up against the spokes. I added a bottle cage to the frame, it looks and works great. I also upgraded the pedals to alloy. The pedals it came with were really crummy. After 2 rides on a trail, it looked quite worn out already and my son's feet kept slipping on it. The kickstand doesn't suddenly come down on small jumps. So far, we've been pretty satisfied. My son is 6 years old, fairly tall for his age. I definitely recommend this bike for taller children, 24 inch wheels, they'll get the hang of it real quick after a few rides. read more

If I Could Do Negative Stars I Would. I've Been Coming To This Location Since I Moved To The Area. The Prices Are Very Good And It's A Plus Since It's A Super Store. The Lines Are Always Very Long. The Kicker Is While Walking Thru The Store All Of The Staff Are Unloading. Every Single Time. So It's Not Like They Are Understaffed. However This Particular Day I Stood In Self Check Out Because Although This Line Was Long As Well It Was Moving The Fastest. Get To The Front After 30 Minutes They Not Taking Cash. And Of Course They Don't Accept Apple Pay. So On To The Other Lines. I've Been In The Regular Full Service Line For 59 Minutes And Counting. And Argument Broke Out With A Lady Pulling Out A Switch Blade To Cut The Worker For Taking To Long To Check Out The Ppl In Front Of Her. Their customer service was quite good. I was looking for items in plumbing, appliances, and pharmacy. Every time I looked for help I saw 2 floor employees to help direct me. It was a Sunday evening and the place was packed. On another day I went back for an item pick up (for online purchase)and saw someone very unhappy with his experience, talking to online customer service. They were short on stock for several things I needed, but that was to be expected. My four star rating is based on the fact when you get to the checkout, they hold the plastic bags hostage. You have to keep asking for a bag. That can be an inconvenience when you are using self checkout. read more

The big problem in this location is that there is no inventory. Whomever is responsible for inventory is not able to perform this function. I go to Walmart because they have a great selection and good prices but I am lucky if I can get half the things I want. This store is CRAZY!!! Do not come here. Drive further out and have a better experience. Came here to return something. It was a madhouse from the moment we got there. People EVERYWHERE. Anyway, the woman who greeted us didn't tell us the correct place to go. So we waited In line at the service counter for 10 mins only to be told to go to a different service area. At that customer service, three workers were supervising 3 small children who were talking very very loudly, apparently lost and trying to find their parents. One other worker was helping the customers. A dozen people in line and one person helping customers with returns while everyone else talks to the children. I have no problem against Walmart in general - you get basic service and amenity for the price you pay, which is very fair. I don't really care I didn't get any smile from the cashier as long as she proceeded my transaction and I paid 99 cents for my shampoo. But my experience here of employees simply having no interest whatsoever in having the most basic tasks done, as well as having zero to negative customer service skills still managed to baffle me, a lot. I wish there were a negative star option for this. I came in the other day to pick up a product from my online order. On the website, it says the the product is in stock at the store and it would be ready on that day. However, when I came in, the employee just told me that item is not in stock after all, and I had to wait for couple more days. My husband went to the tools department and managed to find a similar product and showed to the employee (us trying to do their job take #1), but it turned out to be a different model. I wasn't too upset about being lied to by the online system, as I do kind of understand computers and reality don't always reconcile. A couple days later, I received an email saying the order is finally ready for pickup, so we went to the store again, expecting a smooth process, just like any other in-store pickup. And man was I so wrong about it! An employee brought out the product very quickly, and I was ready to leave before my husband checked the product. It was THE ONE he fished out himself from the tools department last time, which is NOT what we paid for. We both almost laughed, and told the employee at pickup it is totally different product. This is where it got good. She suddenly got defensive and said it is IMPOSSIBLE as it has the same SKU or something, otherwise the pickup wouldn't get processed at all. So we did her job for her (take #2) and pulled up the order on our phone, and compare the two products. They are blatantly different - totally different colors, totally different model numbers. However, the employee looked at our phone and flat out lied to us, "it is the same one!", she claimed. Thank you lady, but we are not blind, and we can read. So my husband, being a doer as he is, headed straight to the tools department, and YET AGAIN did their jobs for them (take #3). He was able to find the right product in the store under 3 minutes, same model number and everything. When being confronted, the employee offered nothing but maybe a subtle eye-roll, no apologies whatsoever. Okay lady, you know trying to sell us something other than what we paid for is by definition, fraud, right? I feel like the headquarter should be aware of this when their employees are perpetrating fraud in the front line. I think what might happened is someone was not interesting in doing his/her job, and when he/she saw a similar product laying around at the pickup area, he/she just put that into the bag, called it the day. On top of this, the parking lot situation is the icing on the cake. It's the worst designed parking lot I have ever seen and it takes us literally ten minutes to get out the lot onto the main road, what a nightmare. So here is my story of how awful this place is. I am usually tolerate of people making mistakes, as we are all human. But it's is not okay to blatantly lie and cover up the mistake and treating your customers like idiots, and it not okay to roll your eyes when we did your job for you. The Curbside Pickup is HORRIBLE!!! They force you to download the App to check in. The check in process is easy identity your space and the color of your car hit done. Very reasonable then a super market. If you come here at the first of the month. Everything is gone the shelves are cleared out. I must admit they do restock but not quickly. I The produce department is not the best but will do when they stock new stuff out. Ok, let's talk about the lines. Minimum wait online average about 30 to 42 minutes like I said minimum wait time. Customer Service line minimum wait is prob one hour. They never have enough cash register open, lines all ways wrap around. Last but not least the employees attitude are ridiculous not all. Heads up on that because it seems like everyone loses their spatial awareness in this parking lot. Another thing, be careful around here cause people like to argue and are quick to get physical. Now my brother did misplace his receipt, which is only his fault... But the cashier watched the transaction and they would still not let him out with a pair of five dollar clearance rack jeans until we braved the customer service line... Nightmare... I asked a female employee, an older woman where I could find baby wipes. She, without looking at me rudely pointed her finger in the direction of where it could be found.
