Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart, right? Well this one vacated the building on Bloomingdale and Bell Shoals Roads recently, and moved to this new building, so everything is neat and clean. Stock is well organized as a result and let's hope it stays that way. It's a big plus to me when the clerks help me get my stuff rung up and I'm out of the store quickly. I'm not a fan of Wal-Mart in general, but it's an okay place to get your paper goods, cleaning supplies, greeting cards, some small electronics, baby and children's clothing (why not, they grow out of them in 6 months?), and other essentials this store was meant for.

This is the newest of the Super Walmarts that are within a 5 mile radius of my house. It was my first time entering this particular one. I needed a few grocery and hygiene items so I thought I would check it out. Basically it is like all the other Super Walmarts in the area. Parking would have been a challenge without a handicap permit, and even then there were only a few handicap spaces open. They had everything that I was looking for, and I cringe a little to say this, but even the fresh fruit and vegetable section looked appealing (doesn't mean I'm going to to buy fresh anything from a Walmart). The primary reason for the kudos is that on my way to the cashier stations I realized I had left my check card in my car. I noticed a squared off section of self checkout registers that seemed to have 2 full time attendants. I explained the situation to one of the attendants and she said it was not problem to leave my cart there and she would make sure it stayed put. After returning from my car the same attendant took it upon herself to run all of my items through one of the self checkout registers and place them back in my cart. It was this extra customer service that gave me a positive experience.

Cake ordered on right cake received on left.

I used to hate Walmart until I started shopping at the one on Lithia & Bloomingdale.

Im at awe how high the prices have gotten! You would find ok to decent prices before. Oh they got…read morethe 50% off but on crazy tags of 200$ is crazy i can go online and find the exact same item in the Items brand store for 60-75% less. Whoever is running marketing must be hangry. Somebody get them a good cappuccino. We die find the "out of fads" stuff upstairs in the actual old prices. They pretty much move the real affordable stuff upstairs. This is a terrible strategy. You gotta run the store like a "Happy Plug" put the affordable stuff ip front and hide the "big guns" behind. Joke aside, i find it infuriating that every time i visit the Kitchen section its like they don't want to make money. Found the two things i been looking for but just wanted to see how much? No tags on the items no tags on the shelf and no QR or Sku reader in the location. It's insane to expect people to carry an 40-80lb equipment to scan it on the machine in the bedroom section n walk back. Naw i have a rule i practice as a law. If i have to do all the work to figure out the price? They ain't getting my money. Found some Cuban Guallaveras for a ridiculous price tag, worst insult? Made in china also. Like why even sell em at that tag price? Im aware alot of stuff are made in china, but its a bad call to tag em over 25$. That cost macys 1-5$ per shirt. I still gave em a four, the store clerks are friendly and kind, most quality is good the minus star is cuz the prices went way too up. Dillards in the other corner of the mall has better price range n specials. I usually buy my fancy shoes and purses.

This is now officially our favorite mall! It Harkins back to the days of neon leg warmers and…read morescrunchies! Did I mention I'm a gen Xer who grew up in the mall in the '80s? In these days where malls are falling by the wayside due to online shopping it is very refreshing to see a moderate to upscale mall still surviving. The food court had many choices. The stores are very from high-end to kitchen. We both loved our stroll through Memory Lane just like we were teenagers again. We will definitely be back! Thank you for keeping our 80s dream alive! Good job!

No idea when they changed the name to Brandon Exchange. It's been a year I have been here so maybe…read morein that time span. Someone shed some light for me on that name change. Came here bc it was a record low temp outside and we needed to walk our furbaby inside. This is a good place for it and it's dog friendly inside and there were a few dogs walking with their family. Everyone needs to stay warm ya know. Now coming in here, we park at Dillards, and I get the Wonder Years Vibes. Remember that show from back in the day with Fred Savage & Danica McKeller - Kevin and Winnie Cooper I believe. It's the faded periwinkle green carpeting that makes it so back in the day. It has that feel to it, but I know I've seen even more throw back malls. Happy that we can walk inside here with no issues. I don't come here often at all, and I just walk around. They have stores like Apple, Lush, Dicks, Macy's, Blind Tiger Coffee. I really can't remember many, but they had a cool area by Apple with photo OPPs. Kids were having fun playing on the swings. It wasn't a playground just currently a beach looking type set up that was super cute, & Cherry blossom trees on the other side of it That definitely stood out to me. Definitely not a fave mall for me, but nice that it's not too far and it's inside when the weather is extreme.
