Not a single worker I saw inside was masked, and a sign hanging on the store's entrance flaunted the statewide mask mandate. I also politely asked the cashier to wear a mask when ringing up my purchase. I didn't think that this request was too much to ask during a pandemic, especially in a state that has been hard-hit with the virus. Rather than do this small thing to make me feel valued as a customer, the cashier jeered at me and dismissed my (very rational) request. I generally don't like to leave bad reviews, but - if given the choice between a bad review versus spreading a virus that has killed countless thousands - I will gladly leave this review in the hopes that others will see it and not give Glenn's your business. There are plenty of other local meat markets to support during these trying times, and I hope that readers of this review will do so.

Several more that I've caught, I wonder how many I've missed. I use Lake Mills Market if I need something immediately, but choose other markets when I can.

The place has a nice mix of prepackaged items, pre prepared, sausages, meats, sticks, deli, beer, wine, smoked items, fresh items etc etc. I always look for hot sticks and at least one other house made item to take with me. I ended up getting a package of the hot sticks and the smoked pork chop vs the smoked polish sausage was a hard choice but the sausage won. Im updating this review after cooking the polish sausage and I really liked it because it was moist/tasty/lean with no fatty/grisly chunks with that great snappy casing. I ate it all natural for an honest tasting and it's very worthy of a nice piece of good fresh of bread and fresh toppings. The hot sticks were pretty tasty/good but not very hot to my taste and 100 times better than the big name sausage company in Milwaukee that was just a total let down. The good thing about always trying new things all the time and all over is you know what's good and what's not. I have not tried the polish sausage yet but I will update my review when I have.
